favorite moment of 2023 "blood" orange cassidy (aew all in london 2023)

im like. 99% sure that when i walked out of that pit and had internet connection again (since the stadium wifi didnt reach the floor smh) my first message was sent to @midnightpretenders0 saying im a changed man after seeing blood orange live and just.. yeah. this was a huge highlight for me. a moment that still lives rent free in my head. i could say oc as a whole was my moment of 2023 but this. this particular one. yeah. yeah this is it. and for real, i am a changed man (gn) for good after witnessing this live and in person

(also thank you for the guy next to me for checking in on me during this match cause wow this was a lot and at the point oc broke the bottle and shoved his hand in there we were just screaming together like. that dude was rad. thanks for looking after my tiny person all night random british man you were appreciated)

I swear this year had so many moments in wrestling that I almost put Hangman's "Medicine isn't working but I'm still here" promo on here. That was unfortunately last year.

But if you would have told me last year that Orange Cassidy would have one of the best championship runs in AEW, I wouldn't have believed it because I wouldn't want to get my hopes up. And the highlight of all that came in the promo before his run ended to Jon Moxley. He worked his ass off, all the way until the end. And now is possibly doing it all over again!

My mother told me that, even with a covid mask on, I looked happier in this moment than I have in over a decade. Finally going to my first WWE show in 20 years and seeing Kevin Owens live.

It was a literal bucket list item and I couldn't sleep all night afterwards.

I had the goal to finish this for 2023 as my contribution to #wrestlingfave2023 but better late than never. Two of my favourite wrestling moments of the year were the AEW signings of Aussie Open & Will Ospreay. Hoping these three can capture those trios titles in 2024. On a personal note, I just had a blast creating wrestling embroideries, opening my shop, and just talking wrestling with y'all. I'm so appreciative of everyone who ordered or shared my work. I can't wait to create more this year.

Certainly one of my favorite moments of this year, FINALLY getting to see Kenny in person 🥰 after he had left tv for a few weeks again, I was worried I would miss out on seeing him for the billionth (4th) time, and I was extra sad because I spent so much money (shout out to tax returns) on the tickets to be that close. The night would have been great anyway, since I was inches away from Mox during his entrance, and feet away from MJF when he went into the crowd during his match (if only he’d turned around to see me cheering for him in a sea of boos), plus my precious Bucks and Hanger, Sting, OC, Wardlow, Ruby, Toni, Willow, Renee, Best Friends, Will Ospreay (even more handsome in person), and that brat Adam Cole.

But finally seeing Kenny run out, jeans and no shirt, was one of the happiest moments of my whole wrestling fandom life. And the fact that someone rows behind me recorded his promo post TV, was able to catch footage of me watching him, is one of the luckiest things that’s ever happened to me.

And now I hope he takes a long recovery vacation, as long as the doctors tell him and then some. His next return will be even sweeter if he’s as healthy as can be 🥰
