I’ve kind of decided that 2018 will be the year of “Random AUs” for Soundwaves art. Kicking it off, here’s a Grease inspired AU, which is totally the most original idea ever. Seriously. Totally original. Never done before. Nope.

In all seriousness, I’ve been wanting to do something like this for a little while, so the fact that @pennwrenn / @wrennpenn was willing to do it is just super rad. Expect more Grease AU shit, because I’m a total slut for retro aesthetics. Expect more from Jill in the realm of random AUs... and probably more of this one, because the pinup potential is on point. Thanks again Jill, for providing such amazing artwork!

If anyone wants to recommend an AU for my OCs, I’ll be taking suggestions!

It’s been a while since I commissioned some gift art for a friendo, so here’s some hot off of the presses art for @wintervale-art​, who’s birthday is today (according to deviantART anyway, Skype gave me the alert a few days ago). The characters in question are from his “Project: Wintervale” (it’s not the actual name, I just wanted to say this to make it sound cool, because it is), Equileus and Amaya.

These sprites were done by the lovely @russet-red​, as per usual.

The little “comic” (if you wanna call it that) was done by @wrennpenn​, and in case it wasn’t obvious, Equileus and Amaya are decked out in Persona 5 cosplay. Equileus is obviously Akira Kurusu (the Persona 5 protagonist, his manga name anyway), and Amaya is Futaba Sakura. Why? Because we both like this ship, and I thought it would be a cute idea. There are some “alternate” versions of the “comic,” without text, and without the bottom panel on Jill’s account, or if you look through my recent reblogs (at the time of writing this)!

Hope he likes them (given his reaction to the lineart WIP I showed him of Jill’s work on the thing, he’s probably gonna be excited as heck... well, hopefully anyway)! I would have done it myself, but I had some other things to work on (writing, mostly), so yeah! Not to mention my art is still kinda shit so...

So I’m starting this year off strong with a proper commission from @wrennpenn / @pennwrenn that is more obnoxiously in your face about the gay, because I didn’t have a picture of these two actually kissing yet. So I paid the money, and this happened. Enjoy. Or don’t; it doesn’t really matter lol.
