A/n: Ah love my evil cowboy guy, he's so silly. Sorry if this is shit cuz I wrote this at like 1 in the morning on no sleep and a dream. Felt like I should fed y'all or something. THERE ARE MINOR SPOILERS FOR BG3 ACT 1.
| OC(s) used: Adonis 'Half-Elf' | Words: 876 | Proofread? No | NSFW |
By hitting 'keep reading' you are accepting that you're fine with reading my content (Don't like? Don't read and scroll.)
The smell of blood lingered in the grove after the slaughter of the tieflings and druids. Bodies of all sizes lay in piles of blood, bile by some. Goblin shouts echo in victory, looting the wooden trunks and grabbing all the beer they can. Though, Adonis didn't even glance at them. A sneer of dark satisfaction on his lips as his foot made a sickening crunch to the tiefling's head. Killing it if it wasn't dead already. His foot plants on their chest, and with a rough yank, he pulls his long sword from their stomach. Clearing the weapon of its gruesome traces on their shitty rags that they used to call clothes.
"Pity, so young, so stupid," he grumbled in a low voice to himself, his tone holding no remorse for the young tiefling. With a grunt, he stretches out, turning to talk to Minthara. The flick of a tail out of the corner of his eye drew his focus. Now that made his eyebrow quirk, a devilish smile gracing his plump lips. It seems the lucky ring he pried from that bratty kid's hands did work after all. He strolled towards the barrel, both hands on the hilt of his sword. His leather boots squelch in the bloody mud.
Adonis didn't even give you a chance to struggle, plead, or try and shove him away. His bloody fist twisted the collar of your shirt. Pulling you up to him, his peach eyes staring daggers into yours. He looked at you with malice, so much anger in his heart for a stranger. The half-elf reeked of spilled guts and liquor. It was pungent, assaulting your senses, and left a bad taste on your tongue. It made your face cringe, though he didn't seem to notice or care enough.
"Well, what do we have 'ere?" He said, shifting from one foot to the other. His gloved hand yanked your face from side to side. The stickiness of blood now coated you. Sharp eyes examining every little detail of you. "You're slicker than a hog in a mud puddle, ain't ya? Thought ya could escape my eyes? My wrath?" Adonis hissed before a swift knock to the head befitted you. You were out cold in less than a second.
When you woke up next, you didn't recognize the place, a cloth gag stuffed in your mouth. Your clothes were somewhere to your side, you seemed relatively unharmed. Tight knots secured your limbs, rendering any attempt at escape futile. The groggy thud of your head made it hard for your eyes to stay open, and the cheering of the goblins didn't help. The sleeping roll under you pressed against your aching limbs, it was cheap with no cushion to it. Quiet chatter between a man and a woman passed through the tent's folds. The talk was short, you could make anything out. The sharp ringing in your ears hadn't subsided.
The tent's fabric abruptly got yanked open to reveal the same man from earlier. Adonis didn't miss the way your tail flicked nervously or how your eyes darted around. "Relax darlin' I ain't 'ere to hurt you, yet," a faint chuckle leaves him as he says that. "Thought I deserved a lil' treat." The hat settled onto the surface with a gentle thud. "And I must say, you look like quite the treat. Not usually my type but better than the ugly muck of goblins out there," he was on you by that point. The leather gloves he was wearing were now discarded on the side by the hat. Scared hands run over curves and dip of your body. His body shivered when his fingertips ran over the ridges of your skin. They run down until reaching your tail, wasting no time grabbing it in a harsh grip.
Instinctively your tail coils around his forearm like a snake. An amused smirk suggested that he found the action rather entertaining. Leaning down he places rough kisses along your body. Starting at your jaw until he gets down between your thighs. The half-elf spread apart your thighs, his nose digging between your folds. Hot wet tongue lapping at the sweetness dripping down. Letting his teeth scrape against your sensitive bud. A muffled cry leaves your lips, your body trying to shuffle away fruitlessly. He pulls back a little, thumb swiping across his bottom lip with a hum. "Damn doll, you sweeter than any pie I ever tasted. Lemme get another taste," he snorted before diving back in with the addition of his fingers. One finger probes at your entrance before sliding in, he pumps it in and out for a bit before adding another in. While his fingers work on your cunt his lips roughly suck at your clit.
Tears streak down your face as Adonis keeps working on your cunt. You could hardly feel your numbing thighs quivering as that coil in you started to tighten. Though, your pleasure got cut off when the half-elf pulled back with a shit-eating grin. "Names Adonis, by the way," he impishly said. "Now, now. Stop yer pretty lil' crying. The fun hasn't even started yet," the hand that was holding your thigh unbuttons his pants. His erection is already swollen and throbbing.

Infernal Jurisprudence: Chapter 1
Summary: It had been centuries since a specific soul captured Raphael’s attention so completely. The devil coveted her body and soul and sought to ensnare her in a contract at any cost. It wouldn’t be long before her desperation set in, and a cat would capture a Little Mouse within his claws. And that, love, was that.
Notes: This is a relatively short prequel to the Fine Print, where Raphael schemes to ensnare Tav. Should be readable without reading the Fine Print first. Note that this fic is going to contain a ton of BG3 spoilers - so you know, don’t read it if you don’t want to be spoiled. Or do. I don’t control you.
[AO3]
Chapter 1: The Mouse
Raphael had closed thousands upon thousands of contracts for boons in exchange for mortal souls. Mortals were so often fragile and desperate, and it was such a delectable combination that always leads to a favorable negotiation. He savored the smell of nervous sweat and the motions of trembling. Other times, the mortals viewed the deal for their soul like a joke. Raphael would sit across from them in his human guise, with a smile that even reached his eyes as he watched the signatures dance upon the scrolls.
The devil would feed on their sins as they fell deeper into his traps. Greed was a standard flavor of sin, occurring so often that the souls that bore it felt more like a commodity. Some souls were envious and left a void in their wake, leaving one hungrier after the meal. Lust was heady and sweet with an underlying bitterness and shame. Wrath was the spice of pepper that led to deep burning consequences like blood and gallows. Pride was Raphael’s favorite sin to sup. Pride was complex and often unique with underlying flavors of other dishes that were unique to each mortal.
So many mortal souls. So simple. So easy.
Raphael sought Faerun for desperate souls. A powerful soul would command a higher price point. Along the Chionthar, he found the type of souls that he favored. There was an entire collection of desperate fools needing a savior.
He was a savior. That was for certain.
Raphael grinned as he surveyed his prey. A sorceress with scales. A dominating Gith. A discarded wizard. A cleric absent memory. A masquerading vampling. A warlock pacted to one of Zariel’s assets. A burning Tiefling.
He watched them silently, delighted by the haul that he could soon collect. They were all desperate and infected. Beyond existing as mere currency for his Infernal machinations, all of the band of infected had power. Power enough to collect a Crown that Raphael had been coveting for millennia.
Raphael was a patient devil. He would show himself when the time was right and true fear had taken root within their addled minds.
He happily watched through the scrying mirror as the Gith argued with the sorceress of the need to find a creche. The poorly-concealed Sharran cleric held the only power keeping them from their Illithid fates. The runed dodecahedron hummed and glowed and kept their souls intact while tucked tightly within her supplies.
It was oh, so convenient that he, the great Raphael, held the very weapon that could free the captive Githyanki inside the Astral Prism. So very convenient, indeed.
His wrists with Infernal chains were bound
Mother Gith’s son, equipped to destroy the Illithid
Trapped within an Astral Prism now found
That Vlaakith once she herself hid.
Raphael could sense the rising anxiety amongst the band of adventurers, as the Druid grove proved to be a hindrance rather than a help. The sorceress was poisoned by an overeager apprentice healer, but all managed to survive the encounter. He could taste the rising desperation as the options started to disappear.
It was time to make his entrance from stage right.
Little mice and rats and squirrels (and one unruly frog) had few places to run on a nearby broken bridge. Raphael straightened his doublet and snapped, appearing before his adventurers in a flurry of embers with the scent of cherries following him.
The sorceress eyed him curiously. She was pale with patches of silvery white dragon scales adorning her upper forehead and cheekbones. Brunette curls were pinned back behind her head and trailing down her back. Her green eyes gleamed at him, and her pleasant mouth twisted into a light smile.
“Hello, pleased to make your acquaintance,” she said calmly, offering her hand in greeting. Raphael found the deviation from his script displeasing.
The cambion cleared his throat. “Pleased to make your acquaintance,” he lifted her hand and kissed the back of it gently, trying to regain control of the scene.
He gave her a gentle smile before beginning his lines. “My, my, what manner of place is this?” Raphael offered smoothly.
The sorceress laughed. “Somewhere in Faerun between Baldur’s Gate and Elturel,” she offered easily. Raphael’s eyes narrowed. This was his scene.
“Is it a path to redemption, or a road to damnation?” Raphael gave a grand gesture of uncertainty in their path forward. “Hard to say, for your journey is just beginning.” Raphael gave his characteristic grin.
The sorceress smirked at him. “The mindflayer tadpoles would suggest a path to redemption,” she laughed sarcastically. Raphael bristled at the way she was mocking him.
He absolutely should flay her. He should take her back to the House of Hope, strip her down and-
Raphael pushed down his feelings, though he was aware how beautiful the silver-scaled sorceress was. “What would suit the occasion? The words to a lullaby perhaps? The mouse smiled brightly: it outfoxed the cat! Then down came the claw-” he was rudely interrupted by a sorceress.
“And that, love, was that,” she finished easily.
“They do know how to write them in Cormyr don’t they?” Raphael waited for her agreement.
“I prefer the lullabies from the dales,” the sorceress responded. “They have a wider variety of animals in their verse. More chickens and cattle and pigs.”
He absolutely could not let this beautiful sorceress continue to disrupt his scene.
Raphael dramatically bowed. “I am Raphael, very much at your service, my dear.”
“Tav,” she responded quickly. He raised an eyebrow. ‘Tav’ was so undignified, it had to be shortened for a much more appropriate name.
“This quaint little scene is decidedly much too middle-of-nowhere for my tastes. Come.” Raphael invited with a snap of embers.
His adventurers had arrived at the House of Hope, a grand feast awaiting them. The Warlock and the burning Tiefling responded with panic. The Sharran and the Gith were thoroughly confused. The vampling and wizard stood concerned.
The sorceress, Tav, was unimpressed. She went to the feast table and immediately started to load a plate. Raphael’s eyes narrowed. What was she doing?
He cleared his throat. “There, middle-of-somewhere,” he recited. Tav was buttering a piece of bread before putting it onto her plate with other fruits and vegetables from Toril. The sorceress seemed entirely uninterested in the conversation as she sat down at the table and started to eat.
Raphael addressed the discarded wizard. “The House of Hope, where the tired come to rest, and the famished come to feast - lavishly,” he glared at the adventurer blatantly ignoring him. She was cutting a piece of Durinbold cheese from a wheel on the table.
Raphael motioned to the table where the sorceress sat, indulging her appetites. “Go on. Partake. Enjoy your supper,” he invited with a broad grin. “After all, it might just be your last.”
The devil grinned, waiting to see what most of the adventurers would do. Most of the adventurers stood still, except for Tav, who seemed to be feasting without concern, unlike the shock and fear from her companions.
The sorceress placed her fork on her plate with a light tink. “You may as well show them what you truly are,” she challenged, lightly dabbing at her beautiful mouth with the napkin she had grabbed from her lap.
Raphael tried not to sneer at the gluttonous creature before him. “Well, far be it from me to disappoint.” He shed his human guise, appearing before the adventurers in his cambion form. The sorceress Tav only smirked at him as he shook off the lingering flames from the transformation.
Raphael stared at Tav where she sat at his table. “What’s better than a devil you don’t know?” He chuckled lightly to himself, “a devil you do.” The sorceress sat unmoved by his speech.
There was growing concern within the adventuring group. “Shit, a cambion,” the fiery Tiefling spit angrily. All of them were filled with unease. All but one. The sorceress.
Their visages were set in fear quite alight,
Contracts should not be too hard to press.
All of them destined to a horrible plight.
All afraid except for one sorceress.
Tav.
She cocked her head and watched him continue his speech. “Am I a friend? Potentially. An adversary? Conceivably. But a savior? That’s for certain,” he delivered with a smug grin, just as he rehearsed. She continued to watch him silently with a slight smile on her face, no longer interrupting his performance with her off script lines.
“What makes you think we need saving?” the wizard challenged. Raphael raised his hands and motioned easily towards their heads.
“You’re in deep over your tadpooled heads,” Raphael challenged, once again looking at where the sorceress sat. She had taken up eating her meal again, observing the conversation but not contributing to it.
“One skull, two tenants and-” Raphael started, motioning to the wizard.
“You are the only solution to our problem,” the sorceress, Tav, blurted out in perfect Infernal. “Obviously.”
Raphael had to swallow down his surprise that a human with draconic heritage spoke the language of the Hells. Tav took a swallow from a goblet of wine, looking down at her plate again, as if she was debating whether to pick up her fork and continue eating.
Her companions all turned towards her after she finished her quip in the Devil’s tongue. Raphael cracked a smile, gathering crucial information that none of them had realized of her linguistic prowess.
“You realize I could fix it all like that?” Raphael snapped and a lick of flame sputtered from his claws.
“Of course you could,” Tav answered. She placed her napkin on her plate and stood, brushing out her robes. “Though I doubt you would do it for free.”
She gazed above him at his portrait - one of Raphael’s finest, showing his command over Hellfire and the horizons of Avernus.
Tav walked in front of her companions and stood before him. His jaw clenched at her continued acts of defiance.
“Go ahead, exhaust every possibility until none are left.” He had practiced the last section several times and was frustrated at her continued insistence on going off script. “I will be waiting,” he growled menacingly.
He snapped and returned the sorceress’s companions to Prime Material.
Tav smiled at him. “Thank you for your hospitality, Raphael,” she continued in Infernal. He snapped again and sent that foul creature back to whence she had come.
He took a deep breath. Tav lingered in his mind. She was quite beautiful, especially for a mortal. She had known what he was as soon as they met while her companions remained unaware.
Who was she?
Raphael sighed in frustration. He would need to learn more about this Little Mouse.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Sword of the White Horse Review
So I recently finished reading Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Sword of the White Horse by Elsa Sjunneson
I'd rate this a 4 out of 5 stars.
Below the read-more I'll go a bit in-depth on what I liked, disliked and ect. This is NOT spoiler free, so if you want to avoid spoilers do not read this review.
THE PLOT:
A Celtic warrior defending her people from Viking raiders infiltrates an ancient sect to save her homeland, in this gripping original saga set in the world of Assassin's Creed ® Valhalla
Mercia, 878. Witch-warrior Niamh discovers a new order called the Hidden Ones is seeking to establish a foothold in Lunden. Her land is already scarred by Viking raiders, bloody wars, and clashing cultures. Determined to protect what remains of her homeland, she infiltrates this new group to discover whether they stand with her… or against her. Yet when Niamh learns the Hidden Ones have stolen an artifact sacred to her people, her own loyalties are challenged. Casting aside newfound alliances and friendships, Niamh soon discovers that betrayal comes with a heavy price and it will take everything in her power – her gods willing – to survive.
I loved the plot!
It was quick paced, a wonderful mix of classic Assassin's Creed with Arthurania mythology.
This takes place around the time of the Wrath of the Druids DLC, so Eivor is now firmly in place as the new Jarl of Raventhorpe and Hytham is busy helping rebuild the Hidden Ones power in England.
It has a lot of female characters supporting each other, female characters that have varied personalities and aren't treated one-dimensionally.
It has a decent discussion about trauma and prejudice and how the two can become linked. It also deals a lot with the Norse colonization of England and how both the Norse and Christianity are attempting to destroy the local religion and traditions.
There is some implied SA, but it's in the background of Marcella's character, and it's not in-depth in any way, so just a head's up.
I really enjoyed learning more about the witch-warriors and the Women of Avalon. Very interesting group that I hope future AC content talks about more.
THE CHARACTERS:
I love the main character, Niamh of Argyll. I want a game with her so bad. She's interesting, full of love for her people, the land and their traditions. She's clever, stubborn and tough, but also very aware of her own trauma, prejudices and is willing to own up to her mistakes. Over the course of the book we get to watch her grow and learn to trust others outside of her own people; such as Valka and Hytham. Anyways, I love her and desperately want more content with her.
Hytham as always is wonderful. In this book he's definitely a little more subdued at first, still dealing with the ramifications of his injury and is now learning how to fight while permanently disabled (still unsure what his actual injury is? It seems to be something to do with his back that affects his lungs). He is still hurting by Basim's "death" and is now channeling his former mentor by trying to be more open and trusting of those around him. His sarcasm and temper still jumps out in moments and I love it every time.
Valka features heavily in this book and I love seeing how close she is with Hytham. They're obviously very close friends and she plays a pivotal role in repairing the relationship between Hytham and Niamh in the end of the book. Her and Niamh and some great conversations about their different cultures, their abilities as seer/witch and the repercussions of the Norse's colonization of England and surrounding lands.
Marcella is a character I love to hate. Deeply hurt and running from her past, she's the current leader of the Hidden One's bureau in London. I'm not going to say too much about her because of spoilers, but in a nutshell; she's a butch but I want to know more about her. I hope she eventually grows as a person and becomes a better leader who learns to looks past her prejudices like Niamh learned to.
Eivor does feature briefly in this, but more as an antagonist. If you're someone dealing with main character syndrome from playing AC Valhalla, you probably won't like this book, since it calls out the hypocrisy of Eivor helping to try and colonize England and trying to kill Niamh when Niamh steals back a relic that belongs to her people, that Eivor previously stole from it's resting place.
Anyway, I definitely enjoyed this book and recommend it!

Fighting Viconia DeVir (Shadowheart’s Questline)
This fight is an absolute bitch and took me reloading several times to actually complete (more than I did for the House of Hope), so here’s how I did it:
(BG3 act 3 spoilers below the cut)
BUGS: I will mention, first of all, that attacking the group before initiating the dialogue with Viconia does create a bug after the fight where Viconia will be dead but still clickable for dialogue, which will initiate dialogue that should have been initiated pre-fight. I read somewhere that you should have had some post-fight dialogue that should trigger after the bugged dialogue the first time, but all I could get was bugged pre-fight dialogue until I just stabbed her again, which triggered her to actually “die” and be lootable.
HOWEVER, attacking without initiating dialogue provokes a surprise round that ends up being insanely helpful provided you’re using some sort of AOE to damage one side of the room.
AOEs I used:
Sleet Storm: I used sleet storm as my first spell initiating combat to damage a significant chunk of the enemies, and then was able to maintain concentration on it throughout most of the fight. Since sleet storm covers a fairly large area, it caused many enemies to slip and be knocked prone as they moved closer to try to attack.
Otiluke's Freezing Sphere: I had Astarion carrying this around for some time intending to at some point plant it on someone in its portable form, but I ended up chucking it at the opposite side of the room from sleet storm. Between the two spells, the arena was a slip and slide for the enemies. I kept my party on the steps and along the two side chambers so they were never affected by it, but enemies would constantly fall on their asses trying to reach us.
Call Lightning: my Druid Tav used this on groups of enemies after losing concentration on sleet storm, and by this point most of the enemies were grouping together and at low enough health that I could just fry them with lightning. It helps that this AOE can be cast again anywhere else on your next turn provided you’ve maintained concentration.
Other spells I used for the rest of the fight:
Conjure Elemental: I had my Druid Tav summon a fifth level stone elemental in the middle of the room, which survived at least half of the fight and took a lot of the enemy aggro. Elementals have an ability that allows them to warp to any spot they can see as a bonus action, so I would use that to warp the Elemental away from the party to draw out enemy aggro.
Daylight: both druids and clerics can cast Daylight, which dispels the darkness the enemies are constantly casting. Both Shadowheart and my Tav had access to the spell so between the two of them casting daylight and other interrupts on the casters, the darkness was easily manageable this way.
Moonbeam: I wouldn’t consider moonbeam a real AOE because it occupies a very small space that rarely affects more than one enemy at a time, but having the ability to move it each turn without expending another spell slot allowed me to move it from enemy to enemy near the end of the fight to finish some of the tougher enemies off. Do not cast this on Viconia as she has the ability to hellish-rebuke-style throw radiant damage back at you.
Spirit Guardians: I used the necrotic damage version of this spell as to avoid accidentally invoking the wrath of Viconia, but it helped to do additional damage to and finish off enemies that came close to Shadowheart.
Other class/character-specific strategies I used:
Druid Tav: while I’ve spent a good chunk of the game having my Tav wild shaped into an Owlbear, I actually only wildshaped once throughout this fight, and spent most of it casting AOEs and summoning elementals at a distance. She barely took any damage until I was nearing the end of the fight. I kept her distanced far away from the action, mostly hidden behind the skating rink she’s created with sleet storm. When enemies would cast ranged spells at her, it was usually just darkness, which she would immediately dispel with daylight. I also had her equipped with an item that gave her 1 charge of misty step per long rest, so that was a nice get-out-of-jail-free-card to have.
Astarion (arcane trickster): I’m not gonna lie, Astarion spent the last third of the battle unconscious, but he was able to do a good chunk of melee damage with the Duellist's Prerogative rapier, which gave him an extra attack with the weapon as a bonus action and the ability to deal additional necrotic damage on a hit. That weapon, along with him also having a misty step-infused item, was what made him useful for most of the fight. I cast Cloud of Daggers with him maybe once, but he lost concentration fairly easily, so he was most useful in melee combat. Of course, he would also have been useful had he been engaging an enemy with another party member by using Sneak Attack, but I had my party spread out enough that it was rarely applicable.
Karlach (Bear Heart, Aspect of the Elk): Karlach was my heavy hitter who remained close to the main staircases throughout the fight. She was able to take on the tougher enemies, usually taking down the ones with ~75hp in a few hits. I had her equipped with the Corpsegrinder, as well as the Gauntlets of Hill Giant Strength that upped her Strength stat, and I don’t think she missed a single attack (if you don’t include the times I triggered reckless attack). At the end of the fight, she did most of the damage to Viconia. The Grand Slam ability that comes with mauls was great for when enemies had grouped up around Karlach, though it can only be used once per short rest. I kept Karlach fairly close to Shadowheart throughout the fight, so she took most of the aggro, and her Unrelenting Ferocity ability that comes with Bear Heart allowed her to heal a little bit when she wasn’t bone chilled.
Shadowheart (Light Domain Cleric): I’ve had Shadowheart equipped with the Amulet of Greater Health from the House of Hope ever since I got it, and it’s helped her stay alive through many encounters. Since she had to maintain concentration on Spirit Guardians, I was limited to the amount of spells I could cast, so I mostly had her casting daylight and healing spells, along with Flame Strike and the single charge of Scorching Ray she got from the Circlet of Blasting. I tried to conserve her spell slots as my opportunities to heal were few and far between with bone chill being cast on my party members frequently. Since she’s a Light Domain cleric, a lot of her spells did radiant damage, so I had to be super careful to not cast those on Viconia. I had her cast Guardian of Faith maybe once as an aggro shield, but it didn’t last long with Viconia’s ability since all it does is radiant damage.
IN SUMMARY: turn the arena into a skating rink, spam AOEs, summon aggro shields, and don’t hit Viconia with radiant damage. Make sure to be looking out for healing opportunities as they won’t happen often.

Mushroom Dance
Name: Vimi Duskflower (She/Her/They/Them)
Race: High Elf
Class: Druid (Circle of Spores)
Background: Outlander
Inspiration & Story: This is the first, exclusively original Tav that has nothing to do with a previous character that I played in the past...sorta kinda, I'm playing this same character in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous lol. He background should be Sage, but Outlander will do too. At this point, I'm figuring out this character as the story goes.
WARNING, SPOILERS AHEAD!
Vimi was adopted into a Drow society in the Underdark. Whether or not she lived a fulfilling childhood or a treacherous one is not something Vimi talks or think about. To her, her life truly began when she met the mushroom people of the Underdark, the Myconids. Having lived in their spore-filled world, she soon would become attuned and manipulate the spores herself. When she discovered the surface world, she was keen on learning as much as possible about the world above.
But as soon as she came up from the Underdark, girlie got snatched lol. She completely ignored Shadowheart and didn't save her initially, and this is another playthrough where I'm avoiding her as much as possible. She has linked up with Astarion, Gale, Wyll, and Lae'zel. Not much can be said for Vimi and her current motivation between the Tieflings, Goblins, and the Druids as she just walked through the door. However, she is a woman of discovery and the talks of the Absolute might pique her interest.
Companion Relationships:
Astarion: Welp, of all the character's I made and played, Vimi is the first person to discover that Astarion is a Vampire :D. She originally had no opinion of him, but now knowing his true nature, she has become fascinatedly interested. He was her first Vampire, so she's eager to study him like a hawk. She has yet to know about his connection to the person who turned him into a Vampire, Cazador, but until then, she's having fun with her Vampire friend in the sun.
Lae'zel: Vimi, having been in the Underdark and explored it for quite some time, have heard of Githyanki, but never encountered them. Lae'zel, much like Astarion, is her first Githyanki in the flesh. Vimi has taken a mild interest in Lae'zel, once again, primarily hoping to study her from afar as she tries to understand the motive and drive of her Githyanki savior.
Shadowheart: Completely ignored her, but there's a chance they could meet.
Wyll: Just recruited him to the camp and she's not fully interested in him yet.
Gale: Loves him. Loves his knowledge, his humor, his stupid camp PJs, she has enjoyed his company. However, she doesn't have a concrete opinion on the Wizard of Waterdeep. Her interest has been tickled a little when she peered into his mind and discovered something strange about his being outside the tadpole, a swirl of untamed magic about him.
Karlach: Don't know, don't care.

Finally finished Pathfinder Kingmaker! Clocked in at 158 hours. A full 20 more than Wrath of the Righteous. Unlike WotR I played on core difficulty and never had to drop it, more because of me than either game. I'm sure WotR gets spikier due to the epic levels thing going on, but I'd have to give it another go to see if it's actually that much harder. Biggest difference in difficulty for me was that this time I actually understood how to buff for each situation (on second thought, the 20 hour difference might just have been in buffing lmao, not really but, like fr).
Spoiler review below the cut
The story isn't quite on par with WotR, and the companions are nowhere near, but the diversity of the campaign was vastly vastly superior. From kobolds and trolls, to liches, to barbarian hordes, to fey, and really almost everything in between it felt like. I mean there were times where it really felt like peak rpg for me. Vordekai right into Armag was an insanely cool stretch. Compare that to WotR where its really one note, just demons and cults. From P:K to WotR there was a huge jump in quality basically across the board, except for that one drawback.
Speaking of characters, I didn't really connect with anyone except Ekun, Tristian, Harrim aaaand.... Kind of Jubilost? I liked others, Nok-Nok was good of course but had little depth, linzi I was sad to see die but she was a bit too earnest and glowing to not get on my nerves. I finished everyone's quest. ended up killing Jaethal at the end of hers (deserved, i was playing good). Tristians story was the best written, Harrims was compelling and how they let more and more depth to his philosophy drip in was good. Ekun had a great arc and good writing to his story too, probably the best actual positive change arc with how I played him. Have to say the voice acting on everyone was top notch. I'd be lying if I pretended Amiri didn't get old quick, and Octavia is not what I'm looking for in a relationship story and it felt like that's pretty much what she was only written to be so that got old too. Val was interesting but also felt like the writers were trying to say something but they weren't sure exactly what during the writing or they had a good arc and felt like it was too on the nose preachy so they muddled it idk, but it felt kind of all over the place with its point. Hated Reg, he was annoying and evil, Jubilost could have done with a more compelling story I didn't dig the bleaching and he also had no arc. The idea and arc behind Kalikke/Kinerah/Kaessi was awesome but underdelivered and i was kind of romancing them but their class wasn't useful enough to have them around that much or maybe I just didn't feel like putting in way more extra time figuring out how to get them to be great. I did like their story a lot, but then at the end I think there was a glitch and I couldn't recover them in the house and they didn't show up for the last battle. I loved how Tristian and Harrims plots made them seem mythical, Tristian tied into the main plot made him so awesome.
I played mostly with a party of Ekun (and Okbo! Got to be great friends with my panther) Val (fully buffed ended up with 68AC for the battle with the Lantern King) Octavia, Tristian, and Jubilost. Most substitutable was Jubilost because he was just extra DPS but his bombs not missing and being tripping made him indispensable at the end, plus great buffer. I played a Druid, the anti-Fey one, and it was great. Having 3 tanks was dope with my panther, Ekun, and Val.
To conclude, Pacing sucked and Kingdom management was the culprit it wasn't worth all that time for what it was. Companions were good enough with a couple moderately memorable ones. Main plot was good, might have been great with proper pacing because of how varied it was but it's impossible for me to give a better grade, definitely not top or anything because it wasn't really thematic or philosophical at all, but they weren't reaching for that. Mechanically it was absolutely top level. Got me to think deeply about my choices but play with some freedom, pushed me to try not to rest exactly the right amount, couldn't have asked for a better challenge - fun balance. Wont replay probably ever because I didn't feel like I missed anything and the kingdom management would be even more unbearable a second time. It felt decently reactive in the ending slides, but actively reactive... A little lacking compared to WotR or even something like Mask of the Betrayer and certainly not BG3 which is the goat in that regard. 158 hours well spent, didn't regret them, might inspire me to replay WotR but I probably should finish BG3 first at least once.

I wanted to add another character who could have a pet in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, because I've read spoilers that my wandering marksman Camellia and sacred huntsmaster Lann might not make it till the end, which means I'd miss their respective wolf and leopard. I decided to hire a druid mercenary, but I wanted to make a custom portrait. I went back to a place that had given me some inspiration back when I was roleplaying a druid in Skyrim, and with some work, I edited a pair of photos together to come up with this. I plan to use a dwarf instead of a human, so this isn't a perfect fit. Even so, I like the way it looks, and I think it'll look nice as one of my character portraits next to Seelah, Nenio, Sosiel, or Ember. Ok, SO, I’ve just finished Valhalla’s dlc, AND I have some thoughts to put down-
( WRATH OF THE DRUIDS SPOILERS AHEAD )
First of all, I expected the dlc to be longer and possibly include more of the Isu stuff as well. A Celtic Isu plot-line like we see in Valhalla with the Aesir would have been so cool, especially since we don't know much about Irish folklore, BUT that is another thing.
However, we still see Isu stuff, but not the way we would imagine ( especially for the last scene that is SUPER RAD AND I WILL GET TO IT SOON )
ngl, I ventured into the dlc thinking that we would see The Morrigan like we see Aletheia in Odyseey, but instead, we only got hidden mysteries. While continuing to play the game, I was starting to becoming a bit annoyed and disappointed because they kept focusing on Morrigan's death and violent aspects, so I figured Ubisoft didn't really look into The Morrigan too much beyond the death aspects so they could maintain that creepy (tm) theme.
THAT until a particular scene came up. The scene with Ciara and Eivor at the waterfall. We see Ciara trying to seduce Eivor, but it's not only about that. The Morrigan is also a river and fertility goddess, and in many myths, she's known to seduce warriors and have ritual sex with them.
That scene really got me thinking, but I didn't want to jump to conclusions, so I kept playing, tho this time while keeping an eye on Ciara because that girl looked sus.
It's not until the scene where we kill the leader of the children of Danu that confirms my doubts. The leader ( which I don't remember the name rip ) says that Ciara always had a weakness for 'men in power ', and Flann Sinna, the High King of Ireland, really seems to rely on Ciara's opinion, to the point where he was willing to go against the other kings of the country to defend her while she was being attacked for her druidic heritage.
This is also one of the aspects of The Morrigan, Macha especially. Macha is a sovereignty goddess, and she always have the last word when it comes to choosing a rightful ruler. The Morrigan's word is sacred, and she only offers her advice to worthy leaders.
Ciara is convinced that having Flann as High King of Ireland will finally bring an opportunity for her people to be in peace with the Norse settlers and catholic church, but Flann and the other kings of Ireland decide that the best way to avoid something like the Cult of Danu from showing up again, is to kill every single druid in all Ireland.
THIS IS WHERE THE LAST SCENE COMES
Ciara, furious, goes to Tara and it turns out that she knows how to activate and manipulate the Lia Fáil, the stone of destiny ( who’s actually an Isu artifact)
Guess what does she do next? she takes hold of the mind of the soldiers and urges them to attack Flann and Eivor. This is an aspect of the Morrigan, especially Nemain, who was known to cause battle frenzy in warriors. Ciara even seems to controls the death, and c’mon which other Irish deity has got such power? THE MORRIGAN.
I believe that we do see the Morrigan in the dlc, we deal with the Morrigan throughout all the dlc, because the Morrigan is actually Ciara.
Now, I'm still unsure if Ciara is the reincarnation of the Morrigan, OR if she's descended from her/them. From Macha, especially. Because in myth, Macha has two sons, SO it could be possible that one of those two children started Ciara's bloodline 👀 or her druid clan!
BEAR in mind that this is just a theory, we know that Ciara has got Isu genes, yes, but we don't know what Isu genes. From what I've seen, she has got MANY things in common with The Morrigan, so that's why I've formulated this theory.
I also keep seeing from various sources that there are, although hidden, clues about Shay BUT I'M GONNA GIVE IT A DOUBLE CHECK bc oh boy I sure have another theory in mind :'D ( tho I strongly believe that Shay will turn out to be strongly linked, if not RELATED, to Macha as well--)
In the meantime, have these very rad pics of the boss fight with Ciara.
