you had worked really hard on this album and you were thrilled to finally be able to perform it to your growing fan base. you loved performing in the bustling bars of your hometown and the stadiums in surrounding cities, but you’ve always known you were meant for bigger and better things; you wanted to travel the nation and share your songs with so many different people. you were even more excited, though, to have caitlin see you up on stage. something more than just a karaoke stage in a dingy bar with just your guitar and the intensity of your voice. no matter where you sang, caitlin still made it her mission to tell you how amazing you were and how she couldn’t wait to see how much of an amazing star you were turning out to be.

“wow, just…wow” caitlin said, speechless, when she walked into your dressing room for your first show in Chicago.

you, with the help of your entire team and manager, had just got into costume. a purple leotard that dazzled with thousands of hand placed gems. pink fishnets, white go go boots, a matching purple cowboy hat, and a dozen other miscellaneous accessories to pull together the outfit.

you gave the classic introduction speech: getting the crowd warmed up, announcing the songs, teaching them the dances that went along with each song. it was cliche, for sure, but you loved it. it felt like you were meant to do this your whole life. once you got rolling, getting comfortable on the stage, the feeling only got better. this was truly a dream come true.

you performed your most popular songs, along with a few of your more lesser known ones, and had the time of your life watching all of your fans sing along to something you had written. you spotted caitlin a few times through the show, watching her sing along too and cheer your name, and it made you incredibly happy to see her support you.

“alright guys, this next one’s a song i’ve been keeping from you for quite some time” the crowd whispered to each other in anticipation “but i think tonight…y’all have earned it” cheers erupted from the audience.

“i wrote thing song a while back, when i met a certain…someone…” you grinned, purposefully avoiding eye contact with your girlfriend “and i fell head over heels for her the second i saw her…so without further ado���here’s RED WINE SUPERNOVA!”

through out the song, you gave quick glances over to caitlin, trying not to be obvious while wanting to see if she was enjoying it or not. but you were struggling to find her this time with the change in set lighting.

then suddenly you found her, your eyes meeting, and you instantly noticed the goofy grin plastered on her face as she watched you sing about her. still making eye contact, you continued to sing:

“hey superstar!” she ran over to you, you dropped your bags to the ground as you threw your arms around the back of her neck “you fucking killed it!”

Jack was nervous. He hadn't gone all out for a date...ever. Even when he was courting Cleo, he never found himself in a pressed dress shirt with a black vest lighting candles in the dining room. The house smelled great, the food turned out perfect. He set an alarm to take his meds which he did on time. He looked at himself in the mirror and debating on what he could possibly do with his hair but he knew he was just lucky to have it clean. He found himself nervously fiddling with the bouquet that he put together when he heard the soft knock on the door.

"Come in." Jack yelled hearing the door open and close.

"Wow...you clean up nice Thurlow." Y/n smiled at him as she looked him over. She was wearing a dress that fell just above her knee and moved with her body as she walked.

"You really went all out. The candles, the flowers, Jack these are gorgeous." She looked at the bouquet.

"I don't want to brag but I did like 2 hours of research on the symbolism of flowers just to make this bouquet special just for you." He smirked.

She laughed as she started picking through the flowers and looking at him.

"Calla lilies symbolize magnificent beauty. Much like the Dahlia's that symbolize your dignity and elegance." She shook her head before touching the Iris'.

"Blue Iris symbolizes hope which is what I have for the daffodil's which symbolize new beginnings." Jack licked his bottom lip and she put her arms around his neck.

"The roses are pretty self explanatory." He added letting his hands fall to her waist.

"You're really trying to get laid tonight huh?" She teased making him blush.

"Seriously, this is the sweetest thing anyone has ever done for me. Thank you." She kissed his lips and he sighed into the kiss. He was so worried he had gone too corny with the flowers but he was wrong.

"I would offer you a drink but I can't really drink with my meds." She shook her head at him.

"I don't drink a lot myself because of mine either. Water works just fine." She followed him into the kitchen.

"So this is what it's like for two mentally ill people to date." Jack teased.

The conversation seemed almost knowingly, like they had known each other for years and we're just two old friends catching up. He learned the Y/n liked to swim, paint and listen to oldies rock music. She learned that Jack was a big reader as well as writer, enjoyed classic black and white horror movies and cooking shows, which explained how what he cooked was so good.

They moved from the dining room to the living room and sat on the couch talking.

"Just by looking at you, I wouldn't have expected you would enjoy cooking so that's a nice surprise." Y/n smiled.

"Why is that? What's my look got to do with it?" Jack laughed looking at himself.

"You're what the internet refers to as babygirl stature. It's cute though." She teases him making him shake his head.

"Well I guess I have to start working out or something." Jack mocked offense and she gave him a playful shove.

okay I'm having. More thoughts. About that 'Enji gets isekaied into atla' thing.

So like. Random notes on things. (also I should go back and tag this but not rn)

To keep him from totally uprooting things outright, Enji actually hasn't watched ATLA. He knows some things. Like the basic premises of the show. Bending, the Avatar, the fact that the Fire Nation are the antagonists, etc. But he doesn't know any major plot points so he has to like. Discover on his own what's going on with the Fire Royals instead of just decking Ozai on sight.

Enji at least at first tries explaining that he's not a Spirit. But he's too Weird™ so everyone's like 'uh-huh sure'. Now there is /some/ debate as a few people think he's less of a pure Spirit and more like. A Fire/Sun-Spirit version of what Yue was. Someone very blessed by the Spirits and holds their Life Force even if they seem to be separate beings at the moment(I doubt Yue was the first so it may be legend as a whole). He still gets revered though because clearly the Spirits don't choose just anyone.

Timeline wise: On the bnha side this is barely post-canon!CC(so like after Canon, but haven't really had a lot of time to fix everything). In atla this happens like. Sometime after Book 2 but before the mid-season of Book 3. Aka: When Zuko is back home.

This is like. Kinda gross but it popped into my head and given the cut plotline I could see it but ANYWAY. When Ozai asks Azula to be the one to attend to 'The Spirit', Enji is getting so many red flags because last time some wealthy and powerful asshole sent his daughter to care for his whims in the hopes he'll lend favor, Enji got a wife out of it and Azula is literally a baby. (obvs he doesn't do anything weird but he's like 'wow kinda pissed that you're cool with the idea that I could do something weird')

The only people who realize that Enji isn't a Spirit are Iroh and Aang because they know Spirit Nonsense. As soon as they call him out on it, Enji's just like 'oh thank fuck someone sane!!!'

Enji accidentally calls Zuko 'Shoto' once and they ask about it and he explains that Zuko and Azula remind him of his kids, especially the Zuko=Shoto thing because they have similar scars. Zuko and Azula hesitantly ask 'what did he do to deserve that?' and Enji's like "?????? Nothing???? It wasn't- People don't deserve that what the fuck???? Especially a child doesn't??? I might not have been the /best/ father but holy shit I'd never purposefully cause a horrific and traumatic injury to a child no matter what they did????"(Zuko and Azula are suspiciously quiet and Enji doesn't like that)

I'M ALIVE (BARELY) !! Work is kicking my ass. Also, lots of things went wrong for me this morning, but they all worked out in the end ?? Like I forgot to set my alarm, had to bring my mom's phone to her job bc she forgot it, my bus ended up running late because the doors would get stuck at stops. But I woke up on time, caught the bus after taking the phone, and made it early to work because the bus forgot to take the detour? My luck is insane (thanks Mammon.)

ANYWAY, i can no longer contain my thoughts about Mammon x Solomon x Mc. I'm just imagining my mc and Solomon who are both very curious, and love messing around with potions at purgatory hall, and finding alternatives to rare ingredients. This has definitely gone wrong a bunch of times (most days without a potion incident: 4)

and I'm imagining Mammon tagging along bc he misses mc and is jealous that Sol is taking up their time, but denies all claims - "I'm assigned to protect ya, ain't I?" "From Solomon?" "W-Well, he's a shady sorcerer!"

He sits on the floor by mc's feet, and will fetch them things because he can't say no to them. But he spends so much time listening to them brainstorm, he starts learning and will chime in randomly. Mc and Sol who are stuck on what to add, Mammon drops something in there, and they're both horrified until they realize the potion is perfect now. He just has a little database in his mind of what to add to something, and rare ingredients that the two wish they could get their hands on.

Thinking about Mammon doing a favor for a witch and she tells him to pick anything in her collection since she's low on money. He was about to be angry when he saw an ingredient that they've both been complaining is rare and hard to find. He asks the witch for that and then brings it to the two. He acts all nonchalant about it, trying to brush it off. Mc tackles him, meanwhile Solomon is in awe and staring with a twinkle in his eye.

Now Mammon starts requesting trades with witches, for a lower portion of grimm. Gets ingredients he knows they dream about, because the way mc and sol will get all giddy after he presents them with his earnings makes his stomach flip (he will never admit this)

"This is missing something" Solomon

"Yeah but I can't figure out what" MC

"Have you tried *insert seemingly common ingredient that doesn't work for most things*" Mammon

"But no one uses that, it's why we're always stuck with it" MC

AUGH I love coffee shop aus sooooooo much!!! I was very obsessed with the idea of barista!Mammon for a while, mostly because of a daily chat where he was working at a cafe and then got into a fight with customer. He's good at finances, so I think he could be pretty business minded if he wanted to be. So I was thinking about a situation where he owns his own cafe, but when the customers get rude with one of his fellow baristas, he gets into a fight with them lol. I hadn't really considered who that other barista was, but it could be MC.

Simblr New Years Resolution 2024~

What's your Resolution for your Simblr?

i want to do a better job interacting with other folks and their content, there's so much amazing stuff out there but im letting shyness get in the way. there's a lot of stuff on my blog i was to fix, too. finish my lore and character sheets, maybe better organize things. i want to post more, but i worry that i'm spamming folks.

What do you want from the Sims Franchise?

oh wow the list is very long. i would say faeries (again, my FAVORITE occult from 3) but at this point i'm pretty sure they'd fuck it up. i guess here's a short laundry list: ~ expanded plant sims and aliens. neither have skill trees or special skills. ~ expanded hair colors. we have many more now than when the game originally launched, yes. but i still find the unnatural colors limiting; neon pink, neon blue, neonish green, the weirdest shade of purple ever and neon yellow. CC fixes this too, sure, but it would be cool to have a standard of colors the CC creators can use so that you don't need additional CC (though hair overlays are neat). ~ fix the bugs. please, for the love of loki. i get that my game is broken from mods, but folks playing vanilla or lightly modded should have functional games. ~ BRING BACK THE KITSCH. i want nonsense, not realism ya'll. mods can give me realism, give me THE ABSURD. ~ maybe just burn everything down and start over? mash 2 and 3 together and give me that, but with certain updates from 4 (IE custom pronouns, body shaping in CAS, emotions).

Any other New Years Resolutions?

i need to be kinder to myself and not self-sabotage. (vulnerability time) i have very low self-esteem and a lot has hit me like a ton of bricks in 2023. i'm working through everything, but it's been very difficult. i started blogging to try and find other people and encourage myself to be less afraid and just let my brain go. my negative feedback loop sometimes goes haywire and tries to sabotage me (nobody likes you, you're boring, this didn't get any notes because it sucks, everyone is better than you), but overall it's been helping (thank you to everyone that encourages me, it means so so much).

sorry, i kinda went on a tangent there, i guess this hit me in the feels in just the right way.

What's your favorite sims death? Hmm I don't really know... I guess death by cowplant just because it's a classic.

Alpha CC or Maxis Match? Maxis Match!

Do you cheat when your sims gain weight? No I don't really like to but I will confess that I have used the weight loss potion a grand total of twice a long time ago, once to see what it did and another time because I'd made it in the science career, however I hat using it and always regret it. So, yeah, I leave their weight alone unless they're like sims that would be really into staying fit or something.

Do you use move objects? All of the time. I wouldn't survive without it 😆

Favorite mod? UI cheats!

First Expansion/Game/Stuff Pack? Seasons! By the time I got the game I think they were up to Island Living in releases so I decided that seasons were highest on the priority list. I have no idea what my first game and stuff packs were 😅

Do you pronounce "live mode" like aLIVE or LIVing? aLIVE mode because I always thought of it like a camera being live, like live recording, if that makes sense.

Who's your favorite sim that you've made? Corey! I love him so much and had such a great time playing as him! 😄

Have you made a sim self? Yeah! I make one about the same time every year or so (it's not really consistent 😅). I'm about due for a new one now...

What sim traits do you give yourself? I'd give myself socially awkward, creative, and clumsy. And the Bestselling Author aspiration 😉

Which is your favorite EA hair color? I think the newest black swatch because I use it all of the time. But I really like the darkest brown swatch too I think it's really pretty.

Favorite EA hair? The one male hair from Discover University (I gave it to Corey for the Strangerville round of the Globetrotter Challenge) because I love the texture of it so it's only gone to my two favorite sims pretty much. I also love the one Dream Home Decorator hair, the side parted one with the really defined part I don't know why I just love that one!

Favorite life stage? Young Adult! There's a lot to do during that life stage and it's fun to start over and stuff. I've really enjoyed doing Adult makeovers though since I've been working on realism so there's that.

Are you a builder or are you in it for the gameplay? Gameplay! I'll build things when the inspiration strikes or I want something to be my own that I built but otherwise I stick to gameplay and CAS and enjoy everyone else's beautiful builds.

Are you a CC creator? No but if I had the time I wouldn't mind dabbling in some pose making... I'm just not sure what poses I'd make 😅

Do you have any simblr friends/a sim squad? Yeah I've definitely made friends on here and I have so many lovely mutuals that have made it awesome to be here 🥰

What's your favorite game? (1, 2, 3, or 4) Unfortunately I've only gotten to play 4 so I'll say 4 but I wiiish I could buy 3 or 2 because they look so fun but I'm happy with playing 4 for now.

Do you have any sims merch? Nope.

Do you have a YouTube for sims? Okay... It's really old and only has a few very embarrassing videos on it but yes I do. I kind of want to start making videos again but first I have to get OBS to work with me. If anyone's curious it's my same name, MoonFromEarth (but the old name was RandomYT).

How has your "sim style" changed throughout your years of playing? Wow it has changed so much since I started they used to look terrible I feel so bad for them 😭 They didn't look too bad but compared to how I make sims now it's pretty different. I used to lean a lot more into a cartoony style with bigger eyes and stuff, but honestly since my drawing style has changed I think my sims style changed to reflect that new style, going to more realistic eye sizes and experimenting with different body types, noses, etc. so I'd like to think it's a lot better now.

Who's your favorite CC creator? RatBoySims and Rebouks for poses and sforzinda and laeska for CAS (that's a lot of favorites but they're all so good!)

How long have you had a simblr? Since October of 2021!

How do you edit your pictures? I use Krita for most of my editing like adding text and other fancy things.

What expansion/game/stuff pack do you want next? I want bands so bad! Only because it would just be so cool! I feel like they even have the perfect base with the club system because I imagine it working in a similar way. Also, I feel like a pack with bands could also include some bonus additions for music in the game like maybe some new instruments?

What expansion/game/stuff pack is your favorite so far? Okay favorite expansion is probably City Living I looove San Myshuno so much and all of the festivals! Game Pack is probably Vampires or Werewolves and my favorite Stuff Pack is Nifty Knitting!

Fic Stats Game

Got a ping from @foolofatook001 for this one. And wow, who would have guessed, it’s almost all DSMP. Even after I anon-ed and orphaned a few lol. God that phase was so wild. And I’m sinking back into it goddamnit

Most hits: There are days where I don’t know the person in the mirror (And there are days I don’t care) with 24,247 hits~! It’s Tommy-centric, villain Dream, filled with dehumanization angst, and hopes of a happy ending with SBI at the end of the road. Currently unfinished and I’m going to update it in three years <3

Second most kudos: Run, run (Here comes the boy with 1,394 kudos! This is actually my favourite multi-chaptered fic, and I admit, the fact that it’s actually completed (though not in the overall series, haha…) plays a big part. Werewolf!SBI, centred around Tommy meeting them for the first time! Some discduo too, because I’m as much a sucker for big brother Dream as I am for bad guy Dream. It’s a duality, I know.

Third most comments: Look what you've done (Do you regret playing with our lives?) with 183 comments. It’s a typical content creators get booted into the Dream SMP (near their counterparts!) fic. Unfinished, and admittedly I haven’t touched it due to regular controversy on the content creators. But recently I’m like, fuck it, DSMP lives in 2021, and so does this fic, and so am I, so I’m probably going to just go ahead and ignore 2023 drama. After all, I’m writing about the ccs’ personas and not their true selves! I’m having fun and that’s what matters ✨

Fourth most bookmarks: I am back with Run, run (Here comes the boy at 209 bookmarks! All hail werewolf AU. I need to write the doomsday trio prequel sometime. Eventually. Ahah. 🤍

Fifth most words: I wish for this no more (I wish to be fixed) with a cute 9,319 words. This is Doll!Tommy on the DSMP with bad SBI, bad Dream, bad bunch of people except my beloved benchtrio. It’s old, unfinished, and I don’t enjoy it much these days, but I do enjoy certain chapters where I feel like I did pretty good. The plot doesn’t call to me much anymore especially since I wrote it because I knew people would like it back then. It’s still a pretty okay relic from 2021, all things considered.

Least words: These ice cold hands of yours with 593 words. It’s a (platonic) Ganyu and Xiao fic from Genshin Impact, written for Whumptober 2022 featuring a fight with some Fatui! Xiaoyu, either platonic or romantic, is quite dear to me. They are both Adepti that fought by Rex Lapis’ side, and now Ganyu is learning from Xiao how to become stronger in order to protect Liyue with him! It’s great! It’s cute! They are family!

When they left the club, Y/n had her arm looped into Lola's and Clyde's hoodie was tied around her hips.

"Wait! Where are you guys going?" Snow held her hands up.

"They wanna hit the park for a bit. Did you want to meet back at the apartment in a couple of hours? I know Johnny is wants to get shitfaced to celebrate getting asked back for another gig." Clyde explained as half the band now stripped out of their sweaty clothes and tossed in their instruments.

"Yeah that works. Y/n are you going with the sweaty boys or do you wanna come with us to Plastics?" Snow offered but she looked over at Clyde.

"Actually I think I want to see the skate park. Maybe get a few photos." She released Lola's arm after receiving a kiss on the cheek and looped her arm into Clyde's.

"Oh wow that's a first. You ever ride?" Y/n hadn't gotten anyone else's name yet but she knew he was Johnny's guitarist.

"Not really. I'm not sure I have the feet for it." Y/n explained.

"Beau, don't." Johnny warned. Clyde opened the passenger door for her and she didn't hop in right away.

"What? What am I getting myself into?" Y/n looked from Clyde to Johnny who were both shaking their heads.

"Come on sweetheart. Take a ride on the wild side." The guitarist now known as Beau winked at her before jumping into the van. The boys changed out of their sweaty clothes and changed their shoes for the park. Clyde kept to himself once they arrived and pulled his board out to skate casually over to the park. Y/n tossed the hoodie into the passenger seatwith her camera underneath hoping no one would steal it.

"Do you know how to ride that thing?" Y/n teased Clyde watching him stumble.

"I can get around. Have you ever tried?" Clyde hopped off the board and let it roll in front of Y/n. She went to put a foot on the board and practically wiped out. Clyde caught her hands and she laughed.

"Okay if I break my ass, I will be so mad at you." Clyde took both her hands into his and rolled her on the board next to him.

"See! I'm not going to let you break your ass. You'll be going down the ramp in no time." He teased making her chuckle and become unsteady. She tightened her grip on his hands and he enjoyed the feeling. A rouge board slammed into the side of his board and Y/n fell into his chest abuptly.

"Dude! What the hell?" Clyde yelled at a laughing Beau while he made his way over to them.

"Come on man, you've at least got to teach her a trick. Don't just push her around like she's a toddler." Beau held out his hand and Y/n took it unexpectedly.

"I got you sugar, let's get you off your feet." Y/n glanced over her shoulder at Clyde who didn't argue with Beau as he took Y/n to the other side of the park. Johnny came to a stop next to Clyde and tucked his hair behind his ear.

"I thought you were feelin' her? What's up?" Johnny questioned.

"I do, I am. Beau's just being Beau." Clyde rolled his eyes. Beau had a habit of showing off to any and all new females who happened to spend a moment of time around them.

"Exactly. Beau's being Beau. You didn't even try to save her from him being a sleeze." Johnny pointed out.

"Well she wasn't exactly fighting to get away from him either." Clyde looked over at Johnny concerned.

"It would kind of be a dick move for him to make moves on a girl I brought home." Clyde watched Johnny narrow his gaze at him.

"Man, when has that ever stopped him?" They both looked over at the two as Beau held Y/n against his bare chest, guiding her across the pavement to try an ollie.

"What the hell am I supposed to do? How do I compete with a long haired guitarist with abs? I mean I fully plan to throw all his shoes in the dumpster out back that the homeless guy shits in but I can't make her want to hang out with me." Clyde looked defeated and Johnny clapped a hand on his shoulder tightly.

"Dude she got in your van. She smoked strangers weed and slept in your bed. I think it's safe to say she's into you. Don't let Beau being slimy fuck with you." Johnny might be an ass but he was a decent friend. Johnny skated off as Clyde mingled around the park trying not to sulk but when he turned around, Y/n had retrieved her camera from the van and started taking photos of him.

"Whoa...you shouldn't sneak up on a deaf guy." Clyde joked but y/n could tell his heart wasn't in it.

"I wasn't trying to sneak. I just wanted a picture of you lost in thought. You have a very soulful thinking face." Y/n smiled.

"Great. Beau gets the abs and I get the soulful thinking face." Clyde wasn't trying to be harsh but his self loathing was leaking out a bit.

"Yeah about Beau..." Clyde felt his heart jump to his throat as she stepped into his space.

"I know you're friends and all but do you think maybe I could shower when we get back? I'm pretty conflict avoidant so I didn't have the heart to tell him he smells horribly." Clyde let her words sink in for a moment before letting out a snorting laugh.

"Why did you let him get so close if you thought he smelled. He got his sweaty stank all over you now." Clyde leaned in and could actually smell her a little bit. She definently smelled a bit ripe and knew it wasn't her natural scent.

"I paniced! I tried to throw you signals with my eyes but apparently we aren't there yet. Next time, high eyebrows and wide eyes means SOS!" Y/n explained making sure to snap another photo of Clyde when he pushed his sweaty hair off his face with a smile.

"I will make a mental note." Clyde stared at her for a moment and she blushed.

"Don't think you're putting my hoodie back on once we get in the van. I don't want that dual stench permedating into my hoodie." Clyde teased making Y/n shove him. They raced back to the van where they fought over the hoodie and Johnny actually smiled watching the two of them. Beau had already moved on to whoever he planned to invite back to the apartment so Clyde and Y/n could actually continue their long weekend together.
