10 Disastrous Bills that Moscow Mitch Passed & Who Benefited.
1. “The Patriot Act is one of the most important and overdue pieces of legislation in a generation." Source: National Review.
To the contrary, the Patriot Act is one of the most anti-civil liberties legislation in a generation. The Patriot Act violates the 4th Amendment to the Constitution by authorizing the federal government to spy on U.S. citizens without a warrant. The law contains a controversial provision, Section 215, that permits the federal government to collect call records made by every American, without needing any suspicion of wrongdoing.
2. Senator McConnell called the passage of TARP, “Senate at its finest.” Source: The Hill.
McConnell voted in favor of the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP). Also known as the $700 billion bank bailout, the largest ever government bailout of a private industry. FreedomWorks strongly opposed TARP during the George W. Bush administration. However, McConnell praised its passage. He added: "In the years that I’ve been here, I can’t recall a single time, where in this close proximity to an election, both sides have risen above the temptation to engage in partisan game playing if you will, to address an issue of great magnitude."
3. Senator McConnell called Medicare Part D, “the most important social legislation … in my memory." Source: Politico.
McConnell voted for Medicare Part D. The massive government health care program is the largest entitlement expansion since the Great Society with the exception of now ObamaCare. Medicare Part D has expanded the deficit and added trillions of dollars in unfunded liabilities for taxpayers.
4. Senator McConnell said Medicare Part D provided, “a genuine opportunity for the private sector to actually compete in offering this new drug benefit.” Source: Politico.
Ah. McConnell once again praising Medicare Part D. The free market solution is to get the federal government out of the health industry to allow for more competition and choice. Instead, McConnell voted for an expensive entitlement program that gives the federal government more control over our health care decisions.
5. “The biggest hero to emerge from the hearings before the 9/11 Commission has been the Patriot Act.” Source: U.S. Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works press release.
No. An abusive law that treats innocent American citizens like suspects is not heroic. (See: #1)
6. "The President has made it clear that the NSA is acting within the law and is doing what needs to be done to protect America from future attacks." Source: Project Vote Smart.
To be fair, this quote is from 2006. However, the Snowden leaks revealed that the National Security Agency (NSA) has been collecting telephone metadata on millions of Americans since at least 2006. Our civil liberties matter regardless if a Republican or a Democrat is in the White House. The NSA's actions are not necessary or constitutional.
7. On TARP: “Under ordinary circumstances, I would have opposed such a measure. Government intervention in the marketplace cuts against all my ordinary impulses. But this was not an ordinary event. I, and many others, believed that extraordinary action was needed to protect millions of ordinary Americans from the colossal and far-reaching mistakes of a few. And action was taken." Source: RepublicanSenate.Gov.
Hmm. Does this remind you of the famous George W. Bush quote from the TARP-era? "I've abandoned free-market principles to save the free-market system." The real solution is to allow the market to get us out of the mess that was actually created by government intervention in the market in the first place. There is no justification for taxpayers to be put on the hook for hundreds of billions of dollars to pay for the bad decision of big bankers.
8. The Troubled Asset Relief Program has “succeeded in stabilizing the banking system.” Source: Politico.
No. TARP has not been a success. The bank bailout set a dangerous precedent and will likely lead to more bank bailouts in the future. If banks know that they will bailed out if they fail, they are more likely to engage in high-risk and high-reward positions. If they succeed? They are rewarded by the market. If they fail? They are rewarded by the government through taxpayers. It's a win-win scenario that only encourages bad behavior.
9. “If there is any criticism at all with the proposed FISA reauthorization, it is that it does not go far enough. Most Americans have the common sense to recognize that FISA and every other tool we have used in this fight are worth making permanent.” Source: National Review.
Senator Mitch McConnell voted for the FISA Amendments Act of 2008, which granted immunity to companies for giving private information about their customers to the government without a warrant. There are many privacy and transparency concerns with the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) especially with the FISA courts. These top secret courts are where the NSA gets its legal authority to spy on Americans. According to CNN, "The Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court -- or FISA Court for short -- is a panel that critics contend rubber-stamps nearly every National Security Agency request to snoop that it receives." FreedomWorks has supported efforts to make FISA court decisions open and accountable to the people.
10. “Nothing in this [Patriot Act] extension has ever been found to be unconstitutional.” Source: CSPAN2.
McConnell voted to make most of the USA-PATRIOT Act’s provisions permanent in 2006.
This is all that needs to be said:
"The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized." -4th amendment, U.S. Constitution.
Another area where progressives and real conservatives have common ground. We all oppose the intrusion of the state into our private lives in the way the NSA has been responsible for. It is the establishment politicians who are our common opponent.
Lastly….A quote from our “Axis of Evil” Majority Leader of the Senate….Moscow Mitch…”.I don't think it's all that unusual for a new president to want to get along with the Russians. I remember George W. Bush having the same hope.” Mitch “Moscow” McConnell

Rymesona Chronicles - Mind Warp
(This is about my Rymesona which you can find drawings of on my blog. This may just be a cringey mess, but I think I did okay? Okay so maybe I like how this story is going and am enjoying exploring the theme of extreme desire for self improvement and debates regarding curing disabilities. The fact I am autistic fit so perfectly into this whole equation and I saw a lot of story potential, so I decided why not use the self insert and make this something insightful? Hope I did decently enough to make for an entertaining read at least...)
(Spoiler Warning: This is not really Rodger, so if someone is going to tell me I wrote him as a villain here, I did it on purpose.)
Rebecca woke up in a slight daze. The last thing she remembered was meeting Rodger Clifford, the son of Ryme City’s founder, at the train station. Her entire body felt limp, numb and heavy. In slight disbelief, she realized she must’ve been drugged. “R-ralts...?” Her voice quivered as she called out into the darkness for her emotional support pokémon, “A-are you okay...?”
“Rise and shine.” The voice of the charismatic politician echoed in the room, though she couldn’t see his smug face anywhere, “Don’t worry. Your pokémon will remain unharmed... as long as you comply with our demands.”
“D-demands...?!” She saw figures in white coats walk into her field of vision. Like clockwork, they hooked her up to a bunch of monitors tracking her vitals, and put a oxygen mask over her mouth and nose. The sensation of something long and sharp entering her vein was what finally got her body to flinch, but gloved hands promptly held her down.
“Let’s see how she reacts to the chemical first.” A voice said apathetically followed by the flipping of a switch.
A purple cloud traveled through the tube to the mask, forcing her to breathe in the strange smelling fumes. She quickly ended up choking on air and sneezing repeatedly, her body trying to reject the toxins. “Perfect response.” Another voice noted, “If she reflects most of the human population, this gas shouldn’t affect them.”
She gasped for air as soon as the mask was removed from her face, tears forming in her eyes. Before she could reorient herself, something else was already happening. The room felt like it was spinning due to how quickly the figures surrounding her forced her into an upright position. Luckily, she was still sitting, otherwise she might have fallen down on her face.
“W-what’s happening?!” Becca asked the white coats around her desperately, but got no response. When her vision focused she saw more clearly what these people were rolling her past. Greninja, seemingly lifeless and suspended in glass pods, covering almost every blank area in the halls. Her mouth hung open in horror. “M-mr. Clifford!” She tried once again to get someone to answer her.
“You’re doing great so far, sweetheart...” Condescension practically leaked from his voice, “You are about to help us discover the ultimate cure for all of humanity. Aren’t you excited?”
“W-what?” Her eyes widened, “What cure?!”
“The perfect cure for not only your autism, but my fathers degenerative disease.” His tone seemed to swell with pride, before he addressed another person, “Detective Goodman, you’re just in time to see the first test subject!”
A man with a pikachu on his shoulder ran into Becca’s line of sight, and both looked horrified, “What is going on here?!”
“Why! Progress, detective! What else?” Rodger responded, placing a hand on the man’s opposite shoulder, “This brave young lady is going to show humanity the path to greatness.”
“This is the girl that was reported missing this morning!” He became furious, “You kidnapped a disabled person!”
“Now now, don’t be so offensive, Mr. Goodman.”
“Let this kid go...or-”
“Or what?” The well dressed man glared, “She won’t be missed anyway. A necessary sacrifice for all of humanity to evolve past being such ...flawed creatures.”
“Pikachuuu!” The pikachu began to build sparks up in its cheeks, growling.
“Please control your pest.” Rodger hissed before turning to the doctors, “Bring the subject in. Let’s remind the detective of how much he has helped us...”
——
Becca was shivering in her restraints, suddenly all the pain was replaced with shock. Something metal was pressing against specific areas of her head, sending pulses into her skull. Just inches away from her was a glass sphere, and inside it was what many people her age only knew of from stories. The clone of the legendary Mew. It was being held captive, and it didn’t look like it was comfortable...
“Thanks to your detective work, Mr. Goodman, we have Mewtwo here to allow us to run these tests.” Rodger’s voice came through the speakers, “Don’t get too attached to either of them, now. Our hypothesis is that she will be killed by the cruel fury of Mewtwo almost instantaneously.”
Rebecca felt her blood run cold when she heard the last part, realizing that they were probably right. “Well.. I-I’d be furious too!” She retorted angrily, “L-Look at what you’re doing to it! N-no wonder it doesn’t like humanity when it is being treated like this! I-I know how it feels to be-“
“Awww... Are you trying to sympathize with it?” The charismatic voice sarcastically asked from the speakers, “You aren’t even a fully functioning human! Easy bait. Such a naive young lady, aren’t you. You think this vengeful creature is going to show you any kind of mercy?”
She suddenly felt her throat tighten, as a pair of intense eyes glared at her through the glass. Her heart stopped beating for what felt like forever, until she heard an announcement:
“Test one in progress.”
After that, Becca wasn’t sure what was happening. She heard the sound of herself screaming until her throat was raw. Then everything felt weightless. For a moment she thought she was dead, until she slowly worked up the courage to open her eyes, and she saw her own body convulsing behind a wall of glass.
Immediately she looked down, seeing purple three fingered hands where her normal ones should have been. She tried to remain still, pretend like she was still unconscious and hope things would be okay. That was when an unfamiliar voice echoed in the room.
“YOU HUMANS DISGUST ME...” She saw her own mouth open and use a voice that was definitely not hers, “REJECTING ONE OF YOUR OWN KIND FOR THE WAY THEY WERE BORN. ”
The accuracy of those words to her own life struck her as extremely unsettling. She wanted to make her possessed body shut up just so she wouldn’t have to face the reality of it all. That was how she felt sometimes... She felt tears begin to form in the eyes of this pokémon body she was stuck in.
“SO YOU ALL DO NOT EVEN SEE HER AS A FELLOW HUMAN...?” The voice inquired with an accusing tone, “VERY WELL... IF YOU DO NOT CARE FOR THOSE WHO RELY ON YOU MOST, THEN I SHALL...”
——
Becca slowly woke up, immediately looking at her hands to find they were indeed hers. The concerned chirping of a pokémon caught her attention.
“Ralts...” She hugged the pokémon tightly, “You’re okay...”
“Pika?”
The girl looked down to see a pikachu staring at her curiously, tail occasionally twitching.
“Bye...” She waved sheepishly, as the pokémon ran out the door after a man with a detective hat.

Presidents & Politicians That Told The World Who Their 'Bosses' Really Are & What They Said
This is an article that originated from Collective Evolution in 2015. We are reposting it now to bring awareness to the 'Deep State' that currently to controls and has been global politics and major institutions for a long time.
This is why the “deep state” is far from a “conspiracy theory.”
“The conscious and intelligent manipulation of the organized habits and opinions of the masses is an important element in democratic society. Those who manipulate this unseen mechanism of society constitute an invisible government which is the true ruling power of our country. We are governed, our minds are molded, our tastes formed, our ideas suggested, largely by men we have never heard of.” – Edward Bernays (“the father of public relations”), Propaganda, 1928 (note that Bernays' book, Propaganda, begins with the above quote).
If you told somebody 10 years ago that there existed some sort of secret group or “secret government” pulling the strings behind the scenes of government policy, international law, various global rules/regulations, and more, they would have called you a “conspiracy theorist.” Today things have changed, largely as a result of information leaked by Edward Snowden, Julian Assange, and various other whistleblowers and activists in recent years. Their bravery has shed light on the world of secrecy that's been blinding the masses since its inception.
I've mentioned this before, and I'll mention it again, did you know that the U.S. Government classifies more than 500 million pages of documents each year? Did you know that the United States has a history of government agencies existing in secret? For example, the National Security Agency (NSA) was founded in 1952, but its existence was hidden until the mid 1960's. Even more secretive is the National Reconnaissance Office, it was founded in 1960 but remained completely secret for 30 years. Then we have the entire black budget world, a world dominated by secrecy that was officially revealed by Edward Snowden a couple of years ago. This deals with what are known as “Special Access Programs.”
It's not just statements that these “high-level” people are making. It's all of the proof and evidence that goes along with it.
***You can read more about the black budget HERE***
Canadian Defence Minister Paul Hellyer
Former Minister of National Defence, Paul Hellyer, is one of Canada's best known and most controversial politicians. He was first elected in 1949, and was the youngest cabinet minister appointed to Louis S. St. Laurent's government eight years later. He held senior posts in the governments of Lester B. Pearson and Pierre E. Trudeau. He achieved the rank of senior master (Deputy Prime Minister), and went on to become the Canadian Defence Minister. He is best known for the unification of the Canadian Armed Forces, and in September 2005 he became the first person of cabinet rank in the G8 group of countries to state unequivocally that “UFOs are as real as the airplanes flying overhead.”
Here's what he had to say about the world of secrecy:
It is ironic that the U.S. would begin a devastating war, allegedly in search of weapons of mass destruction, when the most worrisome developments in this field are occurring in your own backyard. It is ironic that the U.S. should be fighting monstrously expensive wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, allegedly to bring democracy to those countries, when it itself can no longer claim to be called a democracy, when trillions, and I mean thousands of billions of dollars have been spent on projects about which both the Congress and the Commander in Chief have been kept deliberately in the dark. (source)
The 28th U.S. President Woodrow Wilson
Woodrow Wilson, an American academic, politician, and the 28th president of the United States, had this to say (among other things) in his book The New Freedom. The book also contains several other, similarly eye-opening statements:
Since I entered politics, I have chiefly had men's views confided to me privately. Some of the biggest men in the United States, in the field of commerce and manufacture, are afraid of somebody, are afraid of something. They know that there is a power somewhere so organized, so subtle, so watchful, so interlocked, so complete, so pervasive, that they had better not speak above their breath when they speak in condemnation of it. (source)
The 35th U.S. President John F. Kennedy
Here's what JFK had to say in one of his most famous speeches:
The very word “secrecy” is repugnant in a free and open society; and we are as a people inherently and historically opposed to secret societies, to secret oaths and to secret proceedings. We decided long ago that the dangers of excessive and unwarranted concealment of pertinent facts far outweighed the dangers which are cited to justify it. Even today, there is little value in opposing the threat of a closed society by imitating its arbitrary restrictions. Even today, there is little value in insuring the survival of our nation if our traditions do not survive with it. And there is very grave danger that an announced need for increased security will be seized upon by those anxious to expand its meaning to the very limits of official censorship and concealment. That I do not intend to permit to the extent that it is in my control. … For we are opposed around the world by a monolithic and ruthless conspiracy that relies primarily on covert means for expanding its sphere of influence–on infiltration instead of invasion, on subversion instead of elections, on intimidation instead of free choice, on guerrillas by night instead of armies by day. It is a system which has conscripted vast human and material resources into the building of a tightly knit, highly efficient machine that combines military, diplomatic, intelligence, economic, scientific and political operations. Its preparations are concealed, not published. Its mistakes are buried, not headlined. Its dissenters are silenced, not praised. No expenditure is questioned, no rumor is printed, no secret is revealed. (source)
John C. Calhoun, 7th Vice President of The United States
John C. Calhoun was the 7th Vice President of the United States, from 1825-1832. He was also a political theorist during the first half of the 19th century.
Here's what he had to say:
A power has risen up in the government greater than the people themselves, consisting of many, and various, and powerful interests, combined into one mass, and held together by the cohesive power of the vast surplus in the banks. (source)
This quote reminds me of a great clip from the Thrive documentary by Foster Gamble, heir to the Proctor Gamble corporation. He was groomed for the establishment, but chose a different path.

New York City Mayor John F. Hylan
John F. Hylan was Mayor of New York City from 1918-1925. He has been famously quoted as saying:
The real menace of our Republic is the invisible government, which like a giant octopus sprawls its slimy legs over our cities, states and nation … The little coterie of powerful international bankers virtually run the United States government for their own selfish purposes. They practically control both parties … [and] control the majority of the newspapers and magazines in this country. They use the columns of these papers to club into submission or drive out of office public officials who refuse to do the bidding of the powerful corrupt cliques which compose the invisible government. It operates under cover of a self-created screen [and] seizes our executive officers, legislative bodies, schools, courts, newspapers and every agency created for the public protection. (source)(source)
Senator William Jenner
A United States senator who said this to Congress in 1954:
Today the path to total dictatorship in the U.S. can be laid by strictly legal means … We have a well-organized political-action group in this country, determined to destroy our Constitution and establish a one-party state … It operates secretly, silently, continuously to transform our Government … This ruthless power-seeking elite is a disease of our century… This group … is answerable neither to the President, the Congress, nor the courts. It is practically irremovable. (source)
Senator Daniel K. Inouye
Inouye was the highest ranking Asian-American politician in United States history, serving the democratic party from 1963 until his death in 2012.
There exists a shadowy government with its own Air Force, its own Navy, its own fundraising mechanism, and the ability to pursue its own ideas of the national interest, free from all checks and balances, and free from the law itself. (source)
34th U.S. President And 5 Star General, Dwight Eisenhower
In his farewell address to the nation, president Eisenhower offered these words of caution:
In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists, and will persist. … Only an alert and knowledgeable citizenry can compel the proper meshing of the huge industrial and military machinery of defence with our peaceful message and goals. (source)
This speech is relevant to share here, because the disastrous rise of misplaced power within the military industrial complex has indeed occurred…
Benjamin Disraeli, First British MP
The world is governed by very different personages to what is imagined by those who are not behind the scenes. (Coningsby, Book 4, Chap. 15.) – Page 131
26th U.S. President Theodore Roosevelt
President Roosevelt revealed this information:
“Political parties exist to secure responsible government and to execute the will of the people. From these great staffs, both of the old parties have ganged aside. Instead of instruments to promote the general welfare they have become the tools of corrupt interests which use them in martialling [sic] to serve their selfish purposes. Behind the ostensible government sits enthroned an invisible government owing no allegiance and acknowledging no responsibility to the people. To destroy this invisible government, to befoul the unholy alliance between corrupt business and corrupt politics is the first task of the statesmanship of the day. Unhampered by tradition, uncorrupted by power, undismayed by the magnitude of the task, the new party offers itself as the instrument of the people, to sweep away old abuses, to build a new and nobler government.” (source)
The list of quotes is very large and could fill a number of pages, so I will stop there.

Rush Limbaugh on President Trump’s Deep State Allegations
rush obama shadow government against trump at HoaxAndChange.com
Rush USA Flag at HoaxAndChange.com
rush-limbaugh @ Old Guard Audio
Mar 8, 2017
RUSH: Here’s Ken in Minnesota. Great to have you on the program. How are you doing?
CALLER: I’m doing great. How are you doing today, Mr. Limbaugh?
RUSH: Fine and dandy, sir. Thank you very much.
CALLER: Fantastic. It’s a pleasure and an honor to talk to you. I consider you the smartest guy in this country and I’ve got a question for you. We right now in this country, I’m worried that no matter how successful President Trump is, with the attitudes and opinions of all the young Millennial snowflakes, do we even have a chance? And if we do, can you give a conservative guy like me any advice on how to talk to these young Millennials to help the cause?
RUSH: You know, your call happens to be very, very timely. I was chatting last night — not on the phone; instant message and email — with a friend, and we were digesting the latest revelations in the whole “did the government tap Trump?”; “was the government wiretapping Trump?” and such. We were going back and forth on all that we were learning. And I sent a note to my friend and said, “You know what? I think we’re just at the tip of the iceberg. I think that there has been stuff going on that we can’t even imagine, and we can imagine a lot because we’re smart people, and we know the left and we can imagine the depths to which they’ll sink.”
And I said, “I think if people ever really find out what the establishment of this country has been doing long before Trump and what’s been going on since Trump, I think there’s gonna be hell to pay.” And his response to me was, “Yeah, you’re probably right, but it won’t matter.” He said, “Because we’re not gonna be right about everything we allege, and the media will focus on the five or 10 percent that we’re wrong and try to discredit everything else.” So his point was that no matter what we learn, until we find a way around the media, we’ve got problems. That’s probably relevant. There’s ways to do it, too, I think.
BREAK TRANSCRIPT
RUSH: Okay. I’ve got a little bit more time to share this little story with you, because it’s… Well, yeah, it’s interesting, but it’s got more to it than that. So, anyway, to reset the story, I’m chatting back and forth last night with a friend on the latest developments of the whole CIA WikiLeaks dump, the backfiring — the apparent backfiring — of allegations from the deep state that Trump and the Russians hacked the election. By the way, I want to make one other thing clear again. I did this toward the end of the program yesterday.
What is the hack of the election that everybody thinks is the big hack? What was that big hack? Can you name it for me? What was the hack? What was it that lets everybody believe the Russians hacked it? Aside from all these people saying, “Yeah, we know that it happened.” Of course, they don’t know that it happened. They know the Russians try. The ChiComs try. We try! The CIA document dump at WikiLeaks indicates that we had programs to keep microphones on Android and iPhones and Samsung TVs.
Now, Apple’s out today saying, “Yeah, but we patched those vulnerabilities long ago. Some of this stuff is really, really old,” which I have no doubt, although old in cell phone terms is not as old as you think. Like some of this stuff is 2013, 2014. That’s ancient in terms of iPhone software. We’re now at iOS 10 with iOS 11 to hit — well, it’ll start beta — in June. But we’re talking two operating systems ago, which is generally ancient even back as far as 2013. So Apple claims that if you have an iPhone 6s or a 7 you don’t have a problem here.
Those exploits have been patched. But, anyway, we’re talking about all this. What is the hack? And what did they get from the DNC server? (interruption) Nooooo! See, this is the thing. Podesta’s emails were not from a hack! That is my point. Everybody thinks that the John Podesta emails that started showing up in September and October and were all over everywhere came from the Russians hacking the DNC server and that they failed to get into the RNC server. Well, if they hacked the DNC server, why weren’t there any Hillary emails in this dump?
Do you realize there wasn’t a single Hillary Clinton email throughout this entire campaign that was part of the daily dump on WikiLeaks? And the WikiLeaks guy, Julian Assange, said as many times as he was asked, the Russians were not his source. But the fact is that John Podesta fell for a phishing attack. A phishing attack is, you’re looking at your email, and you see something that you think is from American Express — and, man, it looks just like an American Express email — or your MasterCard or any other company with whom you have a credit card.
It says that there’s a minor problem on your account, and they give you a link to click to correct the minor bit of information. And if you make the mistake of clicking on the link, you are sending, perhaps, your entire address book to whoever conducted the attack, or you are sending whatever the hacker — it’s not a hack — whatever the phishing attack author seeks from your computer. It could be your Social Security if it’s somewhere on the machine. That’s what happened to Podesta. Podesta was not hacked!
Now, it is believed that Hillary’s emails were, but we don’t know where 30,000 of them are. They still remain in the ether, and they may yet be revealed at some point. But this whole business of Russian hack… Look, this is just a sideline to the story. I reminded myself I wanted to make this point. Everybody thinks the Russians hacked the election, and the real damage is done by people in the media trying to convince low-information voters that the Russians had something to do with the outcome of the election, with votes. Nobody has alleged that.
They want you to think that’s what they’re talking about, but they haven’t alleged it. What they really want you to believe is poor old John Podesta’s emails are the result of a mean Russian hack and they got into those emails. The DNC said, “Nope, nope, nope! Podesta made the mistake himself.” There was not… My point is, we don’t know what the Russians succeeded in hacking. Now, we do know that the Democrats were rigging the primaries against Bernie Sanders. We do know that because that shows up in some of the Podesta emails and other things and in Debbie “Blabbermouth” Schultz’s emails.
But, as far as the real hack, there wasn’t.
Anyway, my friend and I were discussing all of this, and we were enjoying very much how Trump’s allegation that Obama had tapped Trump Tower has totally discombobulated the anti-Trump deep state. It’s a fascinating thing, because for months and months and months all of these leaks — from the deep state, from intel sources, from highly placed Americans who know what they’re talking about, whatever/however they were identified — said that Donald Trump and the Donald Trump campaign are under investigation for ties to Russia.
And then Trump — with his tweet alleging Obama wiretapped Trump Tower — essentially agrees with them! When Trump alleges — and like Devin Nunes says (paraphrased), “You people in the media, you still don’t know how to deal with Trump. You take him literally. He’s not one of you. He’s not a politician. You’re making the mistake here of continuing to take Trump literally and not seeing the big picture that Trump is talking about. And it’s your job to understand him, ’cause he’s who he is, and he’s consistent and he hasn’t changed.”
Devin Nunes is right on the money about that, something I’ve been maintaining for months now. So Trump basically lobs back into their lap the idea that, yeah, he’s being investigated. And the moment he did that, the media and the Democrats freak out! “What do you mean we’re investigation you? We’re not investigating you! What are you talking about?” Wait a minute. You’re not investigating Trump? See, they didn’t say just, “We didn’t wiretap Trump.” They didn’t say, “Oh, no, no, no.” They said, “We’re not investigating you! What are you talking about?”
Well, that just put the lie to everything they’ve been reporting since last summer, which is that there has been an investigation of Trump. So when Trump joins them and accuses them of it, then they start backing off. Now the people, the Obama leftovers that are there embedded in the deep state are starting to deny — because they’ve been tricked, they’re starting to deny — everything that they were alleging. Well, not everything, but much of it. I made a big point of this yesterday. So we’re going back and forth with this, my friend and I, and I said, “You know what? I think we’re only at the tip of the iceberg.”
Because we’re only focusing on what’s been happening the past 10 to 15 months. I said, “Do you realize how big this really is? ‘Cause it goes beyond Trump, and it probably goes beyond Obama. Do you realize how big this is? We’re just at the tip of the iceberg. If all of this ever surfaces, which now they’re gonna do their best to keep from happening…” My friend’s response was… This depressed me. I thought he would roundly agree and be eagerly anticipatory of that day when the lid blew and we learned really much more what was going on. His response instead was, “Yeah, no doubt. But then all the media will do is focus on the five or 10% that we’re not entirely right about, and they’ll discredit the whole thing.”
And I will admit to you that the air, some of the air in my balloon — it’s a big balloon — came out, ’cause it was, again, a hard, cold, slap-in-the-face reminder of what we’re actually up against here and how frustrating it is that the media seemingly so easily gets away with misinforming so many people. But I’m not in total agreement with my friend. He’s naturally pessimistic, born of his own experiences with this kind of thing. But it did sober me for a moment to realize what we’re up against.
I don’t have any specifics in mind when I say we’re only at the tip of the iceberg. And what I mean by it is the efforts that the establishment, both in Washington and around the world, have made to protect themselves, to insulate themselves, to keep any opposition at bay, however and by whatever means, and just the things that I think that are out there to learn would blow you away.
Then he hit me with, “Yeah, but we’re not gonna be right about all of it. Nobody’s ever right about everything. We’re gonna have to do some supposition based on what we learned. And there’s gonna be things we’re wrong about, and that’s what they’re gonna zero in on,” which is exactly what happens now, what they’re trying to do with Trump.
Trump says, “Yeah, the White House, Obama hacked Trump Tower.” So they now zero in on that to try to disprove everything, when much of all else that we’ve been analyzing and talking about is incontrovertibly true. They did it with Joe McCarthy. Joe McCarthy was right about a heck of a lot that he said but there was five or 10 percent where he went overboard on a couple things and they were able to focus on that to discredit him entirely, which is how it’s done, because the media is the Swiss Guard for the establishment.
The media is the moat around the castle. And that’s all I meant to the caller, who wanted to know how are we gonna do battle with these Millennial snowflakes who are not learning the truth and not even getting anywhere close to learning the truth. As they grow and become older are they going to change? Are they gonna grow up? Are they gonna start seeing the light? Or, no matter we got Trump for four years or eight years but these Millennials have got another 50 to live, what’s that gonna mean?
I understand the concern. It’s why what’s happening now is so important. It’s why so many of us say, “This is it. This is the one shot.”
