Here's another concept for Broken Horizon - a dragon pilot saddle! Ft. Alex as the model (and Riptide as the pilot, even if you can't see his face)

Modern saddles were jointly developed by dragons and humans post-war to make dragon riding safer and flying more precise, as regular reins and voice commands quickly became obsolete.

In these saddles the control sticks on the pilot's seat transmit inputs to the steering modules, which are then interpreted into nerve impulses for the dragon to follow. However they are not hard commands, and the dragon can still choose to ignore the impulses for any reason. This means that the dragon and the pilot must have an incredibly strong trust bond for the best performance.

First attempt at making concepts for one of my projects and presenting them in a visually appealing way. Maybe i'll edit in an english version of the text later, but for now, just plain text translation with some additions

Ysgrelian Boar - a semi-domesticated artiodactyl present in swamps and forests of Ysgrela. They are bred as an easy-to-keep, sturdy livestock, able to withstand harsh winters and find food at any time of the year. They use their showel-shaped lower incisors for digging up roots and cutting aquatic vegetation. Sexual dimorphism is represented in muzzle and tusk length. Despite their large size, they cannot be ridden, but are sometimes harnessed in carriages as status display. Ysgrelian people use not only their meat and hide, but also tusks, bones, bristles, fat, and even blood, which is sthe main ingredient of Ysgrela's national dish: black blood soup.

These boars are, in fact, closer related to hippopotamus than to actual pigs (suidae family) and cannot breed with pigs. Design is based on wild boars (main shape), tapirs (legs, snout and baby coloration), bisons (winter coat) and platybelodons (lower incisors)

i've decided to commit myself to a worldbuilding project - it's called lhitkud, which is based on the land in which one of my main characters - as shown above, reside in!

some basic lore that i've come up with so far - tlhukyil ylthya, who lives in a world with many different races such as elves, dwarfs, halflings, anthromorphs,... that can all use magical artefacts (from trivial to powerful) but only wizards carry magic within themselves, which our guy here is one. wizards usually keep their identity secret, reside in remote places and communicate to each other through texts.

i'm also working on a conlang for my world! it's my first time doing so so please don't expect excellence, i thought it'd be sort of fun!

Corldaxians got updated and now Narihl… gets to get his first character sheet ever. He’s just a little goober don’t worry about it.

Narihl is the storemaster of the Little Bird. He’s the one to keep track of all the food, water, and supplies on the ship, as well as order new supplies when they come to port. He takes his job very seriously, often to the irritation of the rest of the crew. Turns out, not everyone likes to fill out a requisition form every time they need some more toothpaste.

He’s the only Corldaxian onboard, and was hired because he and Diaf had worked together previously. He works closely with T-132 by nature of having to order things from different planets that speak different languages. Otherwise, he doesn’t really know anyone onboard. He’s more or less on his lonesome which, no matter how often he says he prefers to be alone, is very strange for a Corldaxian.

Yuo Yowa skin genetics

The cat people’s genes! First chapter is the skin, second will be eyes and then hair. I’m calling this “revised” even though it’s my first post about this topic, because I’ve been developing their genetics for a while without sharing them which I remade a few days ago, and here we are. Heavily inspired by the house cat fur coat genetics, because there’s just many interesting combinations that I could apply to their skin! Click “show more” to reveal more pages.

“Calico” isn’t the right term, calico cats have white patches affected by genes that the Yuo Yowa don’t have in their skin, but I’ve decided to call them calicoes because it is quite adorable. Just like in cats, a calico can be any individual with at least two X chromosomes.
