okay has anyone ever made the connection of jon’s eye powers and compulsive statements with epilepsy in season 5? I don’t know if that’s what they were going for but that’s really what i instantly thought of, especially the way jon would get a sort of aura before episodes.

i think the other’s reactions in that interpretation is also interesting - martin’s apprehension and desire to not watch jon, jon wanting to find secluded rooms to do it. that doesn’t even cover how in a lot of older societies, epilepsy was seen as a symptom of the supernatural and many times wise men would be people with epilepsy.

Disclaimer : Most of these headcannons are not cannon or true and there is no evidence backing up these headcannons. This is just a bit of fun as we are likely never going to get any information regarding Zoe's family.

Zoe’s father's name was Andrew lee. 

Zoe’s father was a high ranking military captain who was acquaintances with Colt Fathom - who was an arms dealer. 

Zoe’s father being in the military meant he traveled a lot and was very busy but still had time for his daughter. He loved Zoe a lot but when Zoe did something wrong , he wasn't afraid to discipline her. However when Zoe was 11 a war broke out in a foreign country so Zoe’s father went abroad to fight. This caused Zoe to be put into boarding school because her dad wasn’t able to care for her. He however was still a decent father and visited Zoe as much as he could. When Zoe told him about the bullying on the phone , he brought Zoe tickets to Paris because he had no other family to send her too. He wanted for Zoe to get her to know her half-sister and promised her it would be temporary and he will come back for her soon.

Zoe and Felix knew each other due to their dads being acquaintances. They played together when they were younger. Felix preferred Zoe over Chloe.

Zoe is a fan of The Lumineers.

Zoe's paternal grandmother is from Central Asia specifically Tajikistan. Zoe was very close with her grandmother growing up and she looked after her when her dad was working. She died when Zoe was 10.

Information Board of the Manor

In the foyer, there is a quite large corkboard of information, sticky notes, and notes for other residents.

One of the many pieces of paper is labeled “Requests”. Creeps can write down one request per month, and Slender will attempt to squeeze it into the expenses. If not, they can request the same thing the following month. Other residents can also add a little star next to it if they have bought the requester their longed item.

There’s also a paper labeled “Bounties”. These are simple tasks that the requester does not want to do, but will pay someone else for their work. Although excluding missions and tasks assigned by Slender, some of them can still be either mundane or surprising. For example, Tim wanted someone to accompany him during an all-nighter. The reward doesn’t have to be in cash, but rather company, food, or even trading.
