Blending in with my surroundings 🌿 When I lived in DC I had a great workout routine of classes - the people around me motivated me and paying for a class held me accountable. Now I have to force myself to go on a run if I don’t have a class to go to! Introduced @corepoweryoga into my routine this month & im loving the calm I get after class - even when I’m a Sweaty Betty! Stay focused. Don’t stop working. Never give up. Keep going. 🥊 This month’s workout goals are to sweat 3-4x a week, build more lean muscle, and mix up my workouts. Safe to say my first @bash class with @trainwithmon on Sunday checked 2/3 goals and got my week off to a start (still sore!!) {started from the bottom now you’re here} 💪🏻 if you had told me a year ago that I’d have the confidence to try a new weight training class at 5:45am on a Tuesday... I would’ve laughed in your face. I’m always looking to get better and finding this love for fitness has been life altering - physically and mentally. I tried out @f45_training_ustreet and had no clue what I was doing but I left with a better knowledge of weight training and confidence. Proof that you have to work hard for the things you want but the outcome is sooo worth it ❤️ 30 lbs down in a year and lifting 30 lb weights. I’d say that’s climbing to the top 🤗 Between exercise and a better diet with @projectbloom_ I’m truly beginning to see my best self come through.
