My name is Alicia.  I am a proud momma to 3 amazing kids. Carolyn is 10, Alaina is 8, and Lucas is 5.  They are truly my world, and they are the reason that I became a virtual assistant (VA). I have worked 40+ hours a week, and still feel like I am barely making ends meet paycheck to paycheck, not to mention not getting ahead and providing financial stability for them. So now, here I am, and although many days I feel on top of the world, that I am doing something so right for them, and then some days, I feel like I am failing because things aren’t going exactly how I wanted it to.  Then, I found this saying…..  

When I read this saying the very first time, I hadn’t thought about how strong it really is. Since I began my journey as a virtual assistant, I have realized just HOW TRUE this quote is!  “Plan A” rarely works exactly how you want it to, so you have to either make brand new ideas, or even take bits and pieces of several ideas. You only grow from failure, and as a popular saying goes “Don’t worry about how many times you fail, because you only need to be right once”.  My Plan A, B, C and beyond, are all coming from my own research, but also learning the ins and outs of others who have been in the exact same position as I have. Why “reinvent the wheel”?  Utilize each idea, take what pertains to your hopes, dreams and ambitions, and run with the wind!
