May 23rd - Spotted in Walsall late this afternoon, parked up outside the Saddlers Health Centre - this Dutch box bike, clearly used for transporting a child.

This one is made by Workcycles of Amsterdam, and features roller hub brakes, a nexus hub gear and small wheels. 

I’d imagine it weighs a tonne and rides like a tank. Majestic and stately come to mind - but what a wonderful thing.

My compliments to the pilot!

Our snow drought appears have ended earlier this week!  I huddled under a blanket and sipped a verte chaud in celebration, after a bike ride home breaking a trail for six miles through unplowed snow, with clumps of yet more snow slowly covering my glasses and blinding me.

Hello September!

Last week we continued getting back into our school routine. We are reviewing our colors and shapes while focusing on the letters in our name. Our class continues practicing the routine of independent work cycle. We said goodbye to Emmeline with a popsicle party! Also we are loving music and yoga class!

Search And Rescue Drone

Wheeljack patted the Drone on the newly plated head, a soft grin behind his ever present facemask. The Drone was finally finished, after more interrupted workcycles, and not slept in sleep cycles, he was finally putting on the last touches of plating and connected the last wires. S.A.R.D. was now sitting in front of him, it’s whole body wiggling and vibrating as it onlined for the first time. The green optics at the side of the head and the optical band on top of the helm were the first to blink awake. Slowly. After that the small lines of biolights, running down the flanks of the Drone, onlined in the same green color. S.A.R.D. final form looks like the body of a slim petro-hound, just with four extra protrusions on it’s back. These can unfold into multiple tools to help his function. Like saws or lightsor scanners or even some kind of three fingered servo. It has no tail. It’s paws have six digits and all of them have hook-claws for better traction and easier climbing. The helm of the drone is the most different. It looks more like the head of a horse. The elongated maw opens in four ways, folding open like petals of a flower. There are only one row of blunt teeth like structures inside, but there is a build in gadget at its throat. The personal bridge tech he installed, and which at the first time testing took of his entire arm, should be working now. In simple terms, the maw folds open and S.A.R.D. can spit out, what the Medic or being on the other side pushes through.  It CAN work the other direction too. The whole Drone has the ability to not only unhinge the jaws, but also to mass replace some of his form. So he can grow bigger to an set height, to “swallow” smaller or even slightly bigger mechs and transport them to a fixed location. But that has still to be tested.
