Context : You come home later than usual and burst into tears right after you step through the door. You just witnessed the explosion of a building, but thankfully nobody was hurt.

Seungcheol : notices right when you step in that you aren’t feeling well. he runs to you, hugging you and patting your head without asking any questions.

Jeonghan : at first, he wouldn’t notice, focusing on the fact that you were late but after looking closer he would apologize and hug you like there’s no tomorrow.

Joshua : immediately jumps on you, checking if you’re not hurt. he won’t say a word about you being late, just focusing on your well being.

Jun : won’t notice your tears at first, not even the fact you’re shaking but at the moment you say "babe i’m not feeling well" he apologizes and hugs you.

Soonyoung : this… man… would at first rumble at you because you didn’t warn him about being late, but he’d catch on when you lock your bedroom door to cry, knocking fiercely and apologizing.

Wonwoo : no words, just a huge hug. he lets you speak freely or not talk at all, whatever you want. in the days after, he begs to drive you to work even if it makes him late himself.

Jihoon : same as wonwoo but he’ll try to make you laugh very hard or if you’re really not in the mood he’ll just play music and lie on the couch next to you.

Seokmin : watches the news on X and worried until you come home because he knows that’s the path you take to come home. waits for you in front of the door and just asks you if you’re okay before leading you to the living room.

Mingyu : tons of calls, really close to call the cops because he’s worried about the schedule. the minute you step in, he starts speaking nonsense. you stop him to explain what happened and at that moment he hugs you and kisses your forehead.

Minghao : he had a bad feeling, nervously playing with his fingers until you stepped in. he jumped on you, carrying you on his back to seat you in a chair. he gives you water, waiting for the moment you’ll talk.

Seungkwan : yells at you before noticing your sorrow. he apologizes and cries with you, even more than you (well of course he’s also here for you and covers you with millions kisses)

Vernon : he hadn’t noticed the time but after the hello kiss he notices your tears and asks why you’re sad, cupping your face between his hands. without hearing your answer, he kiss you again on the wrists to stop your shaking and hugs you, stroking your head.

Dino : he comes home and sees you blankly staring at the floor because he was looking for you, taking the same route as you in the opposite road. he is very worried because he knows what you saw so he just talk again and again, sitting on the floor beside you.
