I scribbled another scene from my unpublished wip.

Context/scene under the read more:

Dozens upon dozens of silver butterflies were fluttering in the air, carefree in the breeze. Their master, in the center of the clearing, was a stark contrast to their serenity.

Wu Ming was running around the place, shouting obscenities at the butterflies, ordering them to come back to him. He jumped and lunged at the silver insects, but for every butterfly he managed to catch and call back, three more would evade his grasp.

Laughter bubbled in Xie Lian's chest at the sight. He did not let it escape, unwilling to make his presence known just yet, and sat on the edge of the cliff that lead to the clearing. A few butterflies flew up to meet him, and he lifted his arm, inviting them to land.

Xie Lian watched, increasingly endeared, as Wu Ming struggled to rein in his wraith butterflies. He did not look ready to give up anytime soon, however. If anything, he grew more determined the more he failed to reach his goal. And frustrated.

Xie Lian brought a fist to his mouth, shoulders shaking, when Wu Ming, at the end of his rope, brought out his umbrella and started using it as a net. He was still none the wiser to Xie Lian's amusement at his plight, and swung his umbrella around like he was trying to fan the air with it, his catches only improving to a small degree.

But there were less and less butterflies for him to run after, as most of them had noticed Xie Lian and landed upon every inch of his body. Their fluttering tickled him, and he could no longer hold in his laughter.

Through a thin veil of silver light, he managed to catch the moment Wu Ming realized he was here. The ghost's eye widened as his shoulders slumped, his embarrassement more than evident, and that made Xie Lian laugh harder, in spite of his attempts to stop.

He was still giggling as he slid down the cliff, landing in the clearing with a flurry of silver fluttering around him. Wu Ming had not moved an inch, and there was a dazzled air about him, eye sparkling as he stared at his approaching god.

Feelin' on fire tonight. I watched a pottery instructional video that finally helped a few things click for me, and I managed to make a couple decent cylinders!

This is for my main Tav, Zyn. He's a Drow Bard/Rogue with a long history of being a Assassin for a Lolth Priestess (Against his will)

General

You first meet him observing Volo's failing performance off to the side at the Goblin's camp. He doesn't know if he should be amused for feel pity for the man.

Zyn likes to come off as just a Bard. Hiding the fact he has more experience with a dagger than a lute. So Astarion would mention that he seems a bit blood thirsty for a Bard. Others might mention that picking up a Drow in the middle of a Goblin camp may be a risky move, but it's your decision.

If you haven't killed the Goblins yet, he mentions off hand about how they're just leaving their beer open to the air and how easy it would be to slip in some poison. If you killed the Goblins, he would mentioned that wished he didn't miss the action. "There's more than one way to gut a Goblin.... Or so they say."

He likes it when you deceive or lie to the bad guys. Or not letting someone to force anything on you. (Like getting the absolute mark) He likes it when those get their just deserts. He doesn't like it if you let deities force your hand. Or show mercy to those who don't deserve it. When he offers his advice, he doesn't like it if you dismiss it as something stupid.

Later on in the game, once you get to know him more and he reveals his past, can you make him leave. If you say that he's a monster and no matter how hard he tries, he won't change. Or after the big reveal of his past lover (Him still being alive and a Drider), and you tell him to get over him. He would yell at you about if it was not for him, he wouldn't be alive. And how dare you tell him how to feel about the one person who literally changed his life for the better. (He knows they can't be together but still loves him and holds so much admiration and gratefulness for him)

He would tell you more about his past if he likes you enough. He would reveal that he was a Lolth assassin earlier in the game if he trusts you. And the more he likes you, the more he expresses himself.

If he did have his own quest path. It would to be to take down the Priestess that took him when he was a child. They would come across a traveling group of Seldarine Drow who've been attacked and their children taken. They remark that the markings on Zyn's face matched the ones on the Drow that ambushed them. He realizes that this was done by the Priestess and the entrance to the Underdark where the temple he left behind years ago is in the area. He decides that something has to be done and this is a sign he must face his demons and save the children. (In a way, trying to vindicate what had happened to him, and to destroy the cycle.)

If told to stay at the camp, he would remark who would look out for their back and that it's hard for a Bard to come up with material of their adventure if he's not present. If told to come, he would gladly join and say he looks forward to their adventure together.

If you choose to raid the Druids and recruit Minthara, he would not like her. Despite being a male Drow, he would act like a cat with its fur being brushed the wrong way around her. He doesn't trust her and thinks her ambitions will cause trouble.

While searching the Underdark to find the Lolth temple (not act 1's location. Completely original idea) You can come across a Drider among dead bodies of Drow. If Zyn's in your party, it's revealed that he was his past and first lover before he was changed.

He would have some snide remarks about the Drow found in Act 1 in the Underdark. How they let their pride get away in so much and cause their own downfall. When he mention's Lolth's name or comes across anything Lolth in nature, he spits.

Story Specific

He would be unsure about them, but grateful that they're the ones keeping them from changing.

He would be on the fence about it. He wants to have his Tadpole removed but not under a contract with a Devil. He will wonder if there could be a loop hole or something so that they wont have to risk anything.

He would be rather annoyed that they would find out about Astarion this way. He would tell him right out that he needs to prove that he can be trusted. He understands his needs but to sneak up on Tav in their sleep is rude and insulting.

He wouldn't hold it against them. In fact, having to deal with temporary pain for a useful permanent buff is appealing. He also is impressed they could take the hits.

Zyn would be very worried about Tav taking in their first Tadpole. He cautions about it, saying that we don't know what it would do to them in the long run.

He would stay with Tav. He would wish that they didn't side with the Goblins. But he needs the help to find a way to remove the Tadpole and his best bet is to stay with Tav and to watch their back.

At the Tiefling party he would be drinking while watching Alfira play for inspiration. At the Goblin party, he would be watching from a far.

He would be a little gossipy about who he thinks likes you the most and encourages you to enjoy the party with the one he thinks likes you.

He would be very agitated and questions your intelligence. Saying that they literally walked into a vault with traps and that Tav just grabbed the obvious "This is very special item and if you touch it without knowing what you're doing, then you're an idiot!"

He would give them a worrying look and tell them that it isn't wise to lick things laying around. Especially dead spiders. You don't know how it died, how long it's been around and if there is any lasting effect to licking it.

He would groan and give you a deadpan look. "Just because I'm a Bard, doesn't mean I want to be associated with clowns." He would grumble under his breath and say if he tries anything he won't be held responsible for his actions.

I'm going to say no, that it's not possible for him to be kidnapped. Spending just over 100 years as a Assassin, it's hard for someone just to sneak up on him. He knows what a killer looks like and would be too risky to take.

For Astarion's Ascension, he would feel numb about it. It bothers him knowing that it was probably the best idea to not have so many Vampire spawns running around. He wanted Astarion to take control of his life because he understands what he went through. If they spare the Spawns, he would be worried about what could happen because of it. And for Astarion he would offer advice for his new found freedom and give him words of encouragement. He would also be proud because he too would be so tempted with that kind of power.

He would be mortified and very concerned about the pain they went through and who they are inside. He would frantically ask questions to make sure they are okay and be remorseful that it happened to them. As much as he would like to, he would be afraid to become a Mindflayer. The whole time, it was the one thing he didn't want to happen to him. He would beg Tav not to do it either and feel an immense amount of guilt. Out of a sense of loyalty, care and love, he would stay with them if they were a couple. He couldn't live with himself if he turned his back on you after everything.

Being very familiar with death, he would take it very seriously. He would give them advice to help control the cravings and offer any kind of help. If anything different happens, he urges the other to tell him everything so that he could help.

He would feel a mix of sadness and disappointment. A shame that such a bright innocent life was snuffed out and he felt like if he was up or more alert, maybe he could've prevented it.

Zyn can't be sneaked up on that easily. Especially when in a vulnerable state. Out of reflex, he would wake up and grapple the other into submission to calm them down.

Romance

He is romanceable. For him, he just has to trust you and have a good relationship with you.

It can start if you flirt with him. He would be at first a little shocked but also pretty pleased.

He would flirt with the idea but would be worried if he would be left out.

At the party, he would be a little tipsy but really happy. He would start saying romantic things about you, trying to make you blush.

For his romance path, he's all about you. Explorative and all about what pleases you.

He would be heart broken. He knows it isn't his place to try and force you to stay but he'll ask for one last kiss.

The obvious right answers would be about who he wants to be and how he wants to become his own better person. If Tav response with any answer relating to who he was in his past, he would be upset about it.

He wouldn't blame them. He's defiantly a tree to be climbed. A little miffed that he asked you first. Not that he wouldn't tell you if he was asked.

With these people, they are ones that hold power and power over Tav and doesn't like that. He would ask why they would go through with it. To take such a risk. He would be disappointed with you (and worried if it's with Haarlep)

He would be apprehensive about it. He was forced into many a Orgy due to the Priestess's appetites when he served her. And the idea of strangers joining just doesn't appeal with him.

He wants to spend his life with them. He feels like he can go a brighter path and find who he wants to be with them. He's never been happier in his life and wants to stand by your side.

EXTRA He can go down dark paths too depending who is romancing him. He can go down the path he's trying to carve for himself or regress to the darkness that he came from.

looking around my house and realizing it’s actually so dirty is embarrassing…. and i just had company over… like this is what they seen? but i know this isn’t my voice shaming me i’m just a bit surprised tbh. it was getting into shamey territory but i stopped myself before i did *pat on the back!!!* i struggle to keep my home clean because i am actually disabled is okay. i am learning more abt myself all the time. i am struggling to take care of myself and my environment but i am learning to do so at my pace. it’s a working progress but i am getting there. and that’s what counts most! working with urself to do what’s best for u at ur pace!!!! i’m so happy i’m able to do this i want to cry. happy tears! but that is also okay. hehe. i love me so much. and i can’t wait to learn more stuff about myself. thank u. truly 💗
