Smoking Herbs 🌿🍃✨
I’ve been smoking herbal cigarettes lately, as well as mixing herbs into my bowl when I smoke cannabis! I wanted to write a little post about my favorite smokable herbs, I am not super experienced so these are mainly just my current favorites!
For me, smoking is a great grounding and centering exercise. The deep breathing and visuals of the smoke really help me calm down during tough times.
🌹Rose: Rose is my favorite flavor for smoking, it adds a lovely aftertaste to whatever you mix it with. Rose is mainly used in love spells, making it useful for self love as well!
🍃Mugwort: Used for divination and lucid dreaming. For me, it puts me in a dreamy, hazy mood. It amplifies your psychic abilities, making it easier to astral project, connect with a higher power, and more activities requiring an open mind.
🌸Lavender: Calms and relieves stress, lavender is also used in spells that involve love. Smoking lavender is great for a mix of aromatherapy and breathing exercises for stress relief. Breathe in, take in the smell and taste of the lavender, and breathe out any stress or negative energy.
🌼Chamomile: Relaxing, relieves stress, promotes restfulness! Chamomile relaxes the mind and body, helping to melt away anxiety. If you have trouble sleeping, try smoking chamomile with a base mix (mullein/red raspberry/etc) to calm you down before bed!
🌿Mint: Smoking mint makes me feel so clean! It clears out your respiratory system and leaves a lovely taste behind. In spells, mint is used for healing and purification.
My favorite mixes:
Lavender, chamomile, mugwort, mullein for good rest
Chamomile, rose, lavender, cannabis for general calm and stress relief
Mint+ anything
Rose+ anything

Thank you for giving free readings :) I'm currently trying to get over someone who really messed with my emotions. I found out he did some really bad stuff to other people that seems so unlike him but is true. Coming to terms with the fact that he manipulated me so much is tough. I know its a complicated situation so theres the background. I just am looking for some reassurance that this is the right choice for me and/or suggestions on how to move on best. Sorry this is long, thank u so much!
first of all, SAME. literally living that exact same situation. i drew the tower, 9 of swords, and king of cups reversed. king of cups signifies manipulation and trickery, so i would assume this card represents the person you’re referring to. i think it’s a reminder that yes, this is really who they are. try to avoid over-analyzing the situation in order to ease any anxiety your feeling. seems like there should be an emphasis on self-soothing for you right now. don’t focus on the past or this person, focus on yourself and your present. the tower is basically saying that yeah, this is intense and scary but it’s necessary. sending you love and light!

Just wanted to share this book, I’m finally back in the witchy spirit and this book is such an interesting read! It’s so interesting reading about all the witches affiliated with Christianity, and I love knowing about every kind of witch that came before us. Would definitely recommend!

Living With the Moon Phases🌙
🌑New Moon- The new moon is a time of new beginnings, set your goals and intentions for the next month. If you’ve had a rough time lately, use the new moon as a sign to take a rest. This is a great time for self reflection and self care. Build up your energy and allow yourself time to rest, take time to yourself to recharge.
Magick ideas: Combine self care, mindfulness, and magick! Take a bath, infuse it with herbs and flowers for extra magickal properties. Reflect on the past month, and think about what needs to come next. Begin to set your intentions for the following month.
🌒Waxing Moon- Manifestation is key during the waxing moon! The moon is growing, making it a great time for magick that helps you grow (grow love*, money, etc). Speak things into existence, manifest what you want to come to you in this cycle. Take the energy you’ve earned from the full moon and get to work!
Magick ideas: Perform a love* or money spell, any spell or ritual that brings good things your way! During the waxing moon I like to write out my goals for the month, and write down what I’m doing to accomplish those goals. I combine magick and just plain old motivation, using spells and rituals to help me accomplish the goals I have set.
🌕Full Moon- The full moon increases the power of any kind of magick, and increases your own personal power. This is a time for reaping what you’ve sown, where your manifestations will begin to come to fruition. Keep working hard to fully let your dreams flourish!
Magick ideas: Charge your crystals under the light of the moon, use the moonlight to make moon water for future spell work. The full moon is also a great time to connect to the Earth. Meditate under the light of the full moon, connect to the moon and the Earth. If you follow any gods or goddesses, this is a great time for devotional work.
🌘Waning Moon- The waning moon is a good time for physical and spiritual cleansing. The themes surrounding this moon phase are release and letting go. Release any negativity to prepare for the intentions you will set during the new moon.
Magick ideas: Magick that has to do with banishing or reducing things is good for the new moon. Do a ritual to banish insecurities or bad habits. Cast a spell to make leaving a negative person* or behavior behind easier. Do a simple ritual to release all of the negative energy that has built up over the past month!
Thank you for reading!
*i dont condone love magick being used on others, only magick that would enhance your own self love or lovable qualities✨

What a good Halloween and Samhain! My best friend and I were Beetlejuice and Wonderbread Woman. Went to a party with some other witches which was super cool! Also did a great tarot spread and went on a nice walk. What did you do for Halloween and Samhain?

This will be my first Wiccan Holiday 🥰
Samhain🍂🎃
It feels like just yesterday I was writing my post on Mabon, but Samhain is almost here already! I’ve been having a pretty tough time lately, with quite a lot going on that started around Mabon. I’m excited for Samhain, for new beginnings.
Here is a compilation of info on Samhain from my Book of Shadows!
🍂Date: October 31st, the same day as Halloween! This is the halfway point between the Autumn equinox and the Winter solstice.
🍂Basics: The veil between the spirit world and the physical world is the thinnest on Samhain. In the traditional Wiccan religion, the Goddess is going to the land of the dead, where she will be with the dying God. The dying God represents the Earth during the autumn season, beginning to die off in preparation for the winter. She opens the door to the world of the dead, which is why the veil is the thinnest during this time. Samhain is the third and final harvest festival, signaling the end of the lighter part of the year.
🍂Reflect on: With the thinning of the veil, this is the best time of the year to reflect on ancestry and those who came before you. Give thanks for the sacrifices of your ancestors, and the witches that came before you. The Wheel of the Year is coming to an end. Reflect on the past year and all of the good and bad that has come with it, knowing even the bad parts are important to your growth in the end.
🍂Corresponding herbs and foods: Rosemary for healing, good health, and help with memory. Sage for purification, spirituality, and cleansing. Mugwort for divination and spirit work, insight, and ancestral connection. Apples for protection. If you cut an apple in half, you’ll see 5 seeds symbolizing the protective pentacle. Pumpkins are also used for protection, carve faces into them and place them in front of your house to ward off evil spirits.
🍂What to do:
Visit a graveyard. Honor ancestors, even if they’re not directly related to you. Clean up unattended graves and talk to the people resting there! Leave small offerings to show your appreciation for the people that came before you.
Samhain is the best time for divination, making this a great time for tarot, runes, scrying, and more.
Spend time outside, observe the beauty of the fallen leaves and enjoy the harvest season before it passes!
Celebrate life! Trick or treat with your family, go to a party, enjoy being alive. Honor the dead by living your life to the fullest!
🍂What I’m doing: I don’t really know my plans yet, but I will be spending lots of time with friends and family! I’ll be doing a Samhain ritual for sure, giving thanks for the year and honoring ancestors. Since Samhain falls on Halloween, I’ll be celebrating that as well! I’ll dress up and probably go to a Halloween party. I’ll be celebrating Samhain throughout the week it falls in, just to make sure I can do everything I want to! I’ll definitely visit a graveyard and do lots of divination and spirit work!
Thank you so much for reading! Have a blessed Samhain and October!
