Joyous Imbolc everyone!
Imbolc is the halfway point between the winter equinox and spring equinox! Purity and cleansing is an important concept on this day!
Today, I’ll be cleansing my entire home. Singing is a method of cleansing and spell work that I don’t think is talked about enough. Singing is like chanting, but with song behind it. You don’t have to be a good singer! But I find that I can focus on my words and place my intent into them better when I sing.
So, for this joyous Imbolc, I’ve created a short song spell you can sing to cleanse your home. To perform this spell, walk around your home singing these words (to any tune!) while holding a crystal good for cleansing. You can also hold a burning candle, but please be careful! Be sure to enter closet spaces and pass by mirrors!
Crystals you can use🔮
White Quartz
Amethyst
Black Obsidian
Imbolc cleansing song✨
🎶 With this sweetly song I sing, cleanse this house of all 🎶
🎶 On this day of coming spring, cleanse this house of all 🎶
🎶 of all, of all 🎶
🎶 Cleanse this house of all 🎶
Repeat as you walk through your home.
Please feel free to change any words you would like to make it fit you and what you’re comfortable with!

✨❄️ winter witchcraft ❄️✨
some little things you can do over the winter months, as a witch 🌨
❄️ stay inside when the nights are super cold to study witchcraft and add to your grimoire
❄️ collect snow and let it melt to make snow water for winter spells and rituals
❄️ coffee and tea spells (that you can prepare using aforementioned snow water, after sterilizing/boiling) to keep you warm and manifest intentions
❄️ bundle up and go outside on hikes, take in the beauty of bare trees, icicles, morning frost, and winter wildlife
❄️ hikes are also a good time to gather winter herbs and natural items for crafts and spells, such as sticks, twigs, pine needles, holly berries, etc.
❄️ spells that correspond with winter, involve closure or bringing something to an end to welcome bigger and better things into your life
❄️ meditation and reflection, especially toward the end of the year
❄️ preparations for Yule/Christmas by making crafts and ornaments
❄️ candle magick, especially when you plan on having quiet nights in, also helps to create a warm, cozy atmosphere

Simple Full Moon Ritual!
✉️🌟🕯✨🌖🌕🌔✨🕯🌟✉️
This is a very simple, yet effective, little ritual that any witch can partake in! It may serve especially well for those who may not have many tools/the privacy needed to perform a more “elaborate” practice during the full moon, or witches who don’t have a lot of time.
1). Take a moment to write a list of things that no longer serve you in your life. (This could be bad habits, relationships, jobs, additions, etc… Anything that you feel is no longer beneficial to the well-being of your mind, body, and soul).
2). Fold up your list and take it outside. Look up at the moon. (Isn’t she beautiful?) Now is the time to read your list to her!
3). Once you have finished reading your list, burn it (safely, of course). Let the ashes of your paper drift away; as you do, visualize your problems flowing out of your life, no longer existing. (Other options: bury the paper ashes, or just throw the remains away).
4). Thank the moon for her time (and the universe, as well. ♡)

My first ever spell jar!
A Basic Home Protection jar
In order from top to bottom:
Crushed Egg Shells- to protect and allow growth within
Salt- to absorb negative energy
Black Pepper- to protect and banish negativity
Garlic Powder- to protect and strengthen
Basil- to protect and keep peace
Crushed Egg Shells- to protect and allow growth within
Each ingredient is given intent before added to the jar, and then sealed off with a white candle to exorcise negativity, and to promote peace and protection. I did the wax sealing by lighting a long candle, and letting it drip wax onto the lid (I had the jar sitting on a paper plate to avoid a mess), and then I let it sit until the wax cooled.
I wanted my first spell jar to be something to protect my home and those that I love within, and after researching I found that the basic protection based ingredients could be found within my kitchen cabinet!
*Side note: The crushed egg shells can be added to a garden or potted plant as a natural fertilizer to help promote growth!

Sorry I am gonna keep yelling about this cause I am worried with how many witches want to channel this eclipse’s energy towards the BLM’s movements way.
I feel like most things are done with good intentions, but like blackout tuesday, so many people wanted to post a black square in solidarity with BLM but instead ended up silencing their platform by overflooding their tag with black squares. I don’t want something like that to happen with this energy on a worse scale.
The eclipse is not powerful in a way like a supermoon, it’s a force of undoing. Think of it like the tower card. You should focus eclipse energy on the police force, or on trump’s administration to undo their structures of power. Please do not send that energy towards BLM. Instead try to use it to break down the barriers around them to allow them to advance. The Eclipse energy is not good for protection spells. It’s perfect for destruction though.
Please let other witches know

Beltane in Lockdown and Quarantine
Tumblr media
Beltane is in about a week and as most of us realized right now, most of as are going to spend Beltane inside in quarantine. I though I would write a small post to give you some ideas to celebrate at home.
Baking
To me this is the easiest way to celebrate Beltane while locked inside. I gather some recipes that need few ingredients.
Beltane Oats and Honey Scones
Beltane Tea Potion
Beltane Breakfast
Beltane honey-lemon vanilla madeleines
Sweet Earl Grey Lavender Ice Cream with a Blackberry swirl You will need an Ice cream maker for this one!
BELTANE STRAWBERRY LEMON PASSION BARS
Beltane Sangria
House Cleaning
Tumblr media
You can easily incorporate cleaning into a very simple ritual, especially on a sabbath day.
Light a candle
When you clean, be mindful on how you feel. Try to be grateful of your house and imagine that you are getting rid of all the bad energies
Open the windows if possible to let all the good things come into your life and your home
When you are done, take a few big breath and thanks your home for all the good things it brings you
Light an incense stick and let it burn a bit in every room for a final cleanse
Leave an offering to the faeries
If you have a garden or during a stroll (while respecting social distancing) you can leave a bit of milk and honey for the fae! It is there celebration day too, they will appreciate!
Yoga
Tumblr media
Try to do a few sun salutation right after getting out of bed. Dedicate your practice to your deities if you have some or just for to Spring that is in full swing right now.
Here is another great post of what to do for Beltane in Quarantine or Quarantane
Some great ideas for the witches in quarantine and the spoonies over here!
An other great Ask about what to do for Beltane in quarantine here too!
Also, I am sure it can help some people around here:
quarantine tips for people who deal with mental illnesses
There is plenty of other activities to do, if you wish you can add them too after this post! Let’s gather a great list to celebrate, the quarantine will not stop us! <3
Blessed Be!

✨🌷 Beltane for Lazy Witches 🌷✨
I’m always that witch that never has time (or the energy/resources) for an elaborate ritual or spell on any Sabbat. So if you’re lazy, chronically ill, a newbie witch, or don’t have the time, energy, or resources, here are some correspondences to incorporate into your celebration and some easy activities.

Scents:
Anything floral.

🌻 fae offerings for beltane 🌻
if you’re like me and completely forget about beltane the day before and need to do something easy, fae offerings are a good option!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
time: best performed at beltane, but you can leave a fae offering anytime!
gather: milk, honey, dried lavender, thyme, daisies, other flower heads of your choice
🌿  find a shallow bowl / dish and fill it with milk
🌿  stir in some honey
🌿  add dried lavender, thyme and any other herbs you like
🌿  make a daisy chain long enough to surround your offering (this will also protect the offering from evil spirits and pesky cats)
🌿  add some flower heads that are seasonal to beltane. i used dandelions and violets!
🌿  if you like, you could add some coins or other shiny objects that attract the fae
note: as i was setting this offering up, i heard the gentle tinkling of a wind chime. this usually is a sign of nearby fae, so i took this as a good omen! if you experience this as well lmk 🌙
