Introduction part 2: Then • For ‘Then’, I used pictures of my bedroom in my previous home and drew some concepts. • I drew a concept of the horses and window poster from my old bedroom because I loved horses and it became a huge part of my childhood. • Another concept I drew was the butterfly wallpaper. When I was a kid, I knew nothing about colouring. My classmate drew a very nice robot with colour pencil, with layering and blending of colours. I looked at my drawing and realized that I was not capable in drawing and colouring. I tried to layer the colours but it was hard to get the effect. This year we made our own woodless colour pencils, for our environmental friendly products. We tried colour pencils from different brands and different price range. Of course, we always aim for premium quality in our products. More importantly, I found out why I was so bad in colouring. I did not know the choice of colour pencils would affect the result. There was no google at that time... In my world, colour pencil was colour pencil, same everywhere. It was from that time after I saw my classmate's drawing, I abandon colouring, or art in general.
