Not bad for a second try after not having drawn for ten years, I think! I'm almost afraid to touch it more for now... Need some more drawings and reaquaintancing with shading and realism, and I'll be happy to try again or come back. Just kinda letting myself be happy with this for a while. As simple as it may be, this is reassuring to me. I used to be an artist before choosing to concentrate on writing more (it was like I could either draw OR I could write, not both) so I'm happy to dip my toes back in. I want to be proud of more than just one thing, dammit! 😀

🎃🌹 Trick or treat!!! 🏍️🎃
On this haunting Halloween night, @technicallyverycowboy has been haunted by the spooky ghost @justanothervariant, and they've left behind a treat!

A Different Game
by @justanothervariant
When Gun first asked him to keep an eye on Porsche, Vegas’s thoughts naturally turned to seduction. He’d used his attractiveness many times to gain an advantage, ferret out information or bring someone over to the minor family. Besides, Porsche was a handsome guy; this time, it might even be fun.
Destiny seemed to be favouring him; on his next visit to the major family compound, Vegas spotted Porsche alone and struggling with his lighter. Vegas stepped up to his side, smoothly lit the cigarette and began his well-honed routine of smiles and flirtation. But instead of smiling back or blushing, Porsche looked distinctly uncomfortable. It wasn’t until Vegas dialled it down a notch that Porsche seemed to relax; an alarm tripped in the back of Vegas’s mind, and he realised that he might need to rethink his tactics. That evening he called on his main family informant, and within the hour he had a copy of their comprehensive dossier on Porsche Pachara Kittisawasd.
Vegas skimmed over the details of Porsche’s martial arts training, his family background, his educational history. His attention snagged on a note that Porsche had worked for years at a local nightclub called Hum Bar. The staff and regulars would be able to tell Vegas far more about Porsche than any dossier, so he put on his favourite shirt and went to see it for himself.
The owner, resplendent in sequins and leather, welcomed him with a wide smile and literal open arms. “Welcome, welcome, always nice to have such stylish guests!” she beamed. “My name is Yok, your hostess for the evening. This is your first time here, I’m sure - I’d remember that handsome face for certain.”
Vegas smiled, immune to the flattery. “Actually, I’m here because one of my friends told me about a bartender that works here - Porsche, is it?”
“Ah, sorry khun, Porsche isn’t working tonight,” Yok said, with a regretful cluck of her tongue. “But we have many other talented servers to help you. I’ll introduce you to Mo, he’s a genius with cocktails.” She signalled to one of the bartenders and said, “Mo, this gentleman is an honoured guest this evening, be sure to serve him well.”
“Of course. What can I get you, khun?” asked Mo.
Vegas slid a folded 1,000 baht note across the bar and asked, “Can you tell me any more about this Porsche? I’d really love to meet him.”
Mo’s eyes locked onto the money, but he said regretfully, “Oh, well…sorry, khun, but Porsche is my friend. I don’t think I should tell you anything without asking him first.”
Vegas nodded to hide his irritation, then added a second note. “I see. Well, at least tell me this - is it even likely that he’d be interested in me, or are his tastes more…conventional?”
The bartender glanced around, then snatched up the money and said, “I’ve only ever seen him leave with female guests, so sorry.”
Vegas turned away, the man already dismissed in his mind. His informant had seemed sure that there was some interest between Kinn and Porsche, but perhaps it was only on his cousin’s side. Perhaps Porsche was straight, or closeted, or had just never experimented with a man before. Whatever the truth, Vegas realised that going into full seduction mode was more likely to spook him than win him over. Malicious delight shivered through him as he imagined Kinn’s graceless attempts to woo Porsche, the possessiveness and entitlement that would be so off-putting to a guy with no experience. Vegas smiled to himself, a new plan already settling into place.
To win Porsche over, first Vegas would have to become his friend.
* * *
Vegas was used to getting quick results. Whoever he put his mind to pursuing - Kinn’s exes, Gun’s business contacts, random strangers in clubs - sooner rather than later, they gave in to him. It made his slow, subtle wooing of Porsche a novelty, but one he found himself enjoying immensely.
When Gun next visited his brother for lunch, Vegas went to say hello to the bodyguards but didn’t linger. He made small talk, tried to appear genuinely interested in their responses, and didn’t focus on Porsche more than anyone else. Kinn and Tankhun both gave him suspicious glares but he smiled and shrugged it off, noting Porsche’s frown at Kinn’s possessiveness.
At the diamond auction, he delighted in the palpable awkwardness between Porsche and Kinn; his cousin looked out of his depth, despite his pretty friend’s attempts to encourage him. When Kinn smiled at Porsche like he was suffering from indigestion, Vegas could hardly believe his good fortune. To capitalise on the weirdness between the two of them, Vegas gave specifically worded instructions to his mole on the bar staff then collected a small glass of clean water and took it to Porsche.
When Porsche was reluctant to take it, Vegas said, “I know you’re on duty and don’t have much time for breaks, that’s all. But no problem, I’ll take it back.”
“No, wait,” Porsche said, his face betraying all of his emotions as he wavered before finally taking the drink. He downed it hastily, wiping his mouth on the back of his hand. “Thanks.”
Vegas nodded. “We’re not so harsh with our people in the minor family. Standing around all night, you’ll get thirsty. You should be able to go and grab a drink.”
Porsche’s smile was quick, reluctant. He gestured to his earpiece and said, “I get shouted at for not standing up straight enough, never mind leaving my position.”
“My cousin always was more of a stickler for conformity,” Vegas said, adding a note of regret to his tone. “But to me, you’re a person first and a bodyguard second.”
Vegas saw the moment his words snagged in Porsche’s brain, the hint of surprise and gratitude.
“Anyway, I’ll let you focus,” Vegas said, briefly laying a hand on Porsche’s shoulder. “Remember, though, that your own needs are as important as anyone else’s.”
“Yeah, okay,” Porsche nodded.
Later, sitting in his booth surveying the crowd of rich idiots and bootlickers, he saw Porsche staggering from the room and nodded to his men to follow. They knew what to do, where to take Porsche. A word from his inside man would send Kinn up to the Imperial Suite, where he’d find Porsche passed out ‘drunk’ on duty. Repercussions would follow, punishment guaranteed, the wedge between Kinn and Porsche driven ever deeper.
Vegas allowed himself a smile as he settled back and sipped his champagne; so far, his plan was working beautifully.
* * *
A couple of days later, once the dust had settled, Vegas messaged his informant for an update. It was a surprise when, instead of just replying, Ken showed up at the compound to give a report in person.
Vegas took Ken into his office, shut the door and asked, “What’s so important that you had to risk coming here yourself?”
“I thought you’d have questions,” Ken replied, his gaze dipping to Vegas’s lips.
Vegas sighed; this was a complication he didn’t need. “I see. Go ahead, then.”
“Porsche was right where you said he’d be,” Ken said, grinning. “Kinn looked like he’d been slapped when he saw him, sprawled out and snoring on that big fancy bed. He made us leave while he sobered Porsche up.”
“And he believed that Porsche had wandered in there and passed out drunk?”
“Yes, I said I saw him drinking earlier. Khun Korn was furious, so Kinn gave him to me and Big for his punishment,” Ken said, malicious delight glinting in his eyes.
“I’m sure you didn’t make it pleasant,” Vegas said wryly.
“It was brutal,” Ken said with relish. “I fucking loved it.” His spiteful glee was almost charming, but marred by his obvious, pathetic hunger for praise.
Ken went on to give a full report of the main family’s business for the last few days, Vegas interrupting a few times for clarification or more details. When they were done, Vegas said, “Thanks for all the intel. We really do appreciate it. And remember, if Porsche goes out anywhere without Kinn, call me immediately.”
“I will, khun,” Ken said, hovering despite the dismissal.
“Was there something else?” Vegas asked, disquiet stirring.
Ken licked his lips. “It’s just…I’m off duty tonight, so I thought we could - ”
“No,” Vegas interrupted. “Not tonight, I have too much to do.”
“You said that last time,” Ken said, a hint of a whine in his voice, then in English. “It’s been ages, Vegas. I miss you.”
Vegas managed, somehow, not to roll his eyes. Instead he reached out to run his thumb across Ken’s pouting lower lip. “I know. I miss this mouth, believe me. But Pa has given me a very important task, and I need to focus. It won’t be much longer, I promise.”
Ken’s tongue darted out to lick Vegas’s thumb. “Maybe I could just blow you, then? I’ll get you off real fast, I swear.”
His bratty eagerness was tempting, but Vegas shook his head. “I said no. Do we need to do some more discipline training?”
“No,” Ken said immediately. “Fine, not tonight. But soon, right?”
“Do you think I’m a liar, Ken?”
Ken swallowed. “No, Khun Vegas.”
Vegas smiled. “Good boy,” he said, knowing it would make Ken shudder, viciously delighted when it did. “Now run along. I have a lot of thinking to do.”
* * *
When Vegas got the call from Ken, he dropped everything and drove over to Hum Bar. As he’d predicted, Porsche was awed by his new motorbike and needed only a little prodding to take it for a drive.
“Where shall we go?” Porsche called back to him as they sped down the floodlit roads.
“Anywhere you want,” Vegas replied, wrapping his arms around Porsche and leaning into the warmth of his back.
It was exhilarating, riding with Porsche. He drove fast and took risks, but handled the bike deftly enough that Vegas could relax and enjoy it. Vegas reminded himself that this was just part of a plan, but it was hard not to get caught up in Porsche’s enthusiasm, in the freedom of driving into the night not knowing where he was going. Elation bubbled up in his chest, dizzyingly bright, and he raised a fist and a cry into the night sky. He caught Porsche’s grin, couldn’t help laughing; he didn’t feel like himself, suddenly, in an oddly comforting way.
Eventually Porsche pulled into a small parking lot down beside the river. The surrounding businesses were shut and there was nobody around as they settled onto a bench overlooking the river. The breeze was fresh, lifting Vegas’s hair gently. The water lapped below them, its soft susurration calming and kind. Lights twinkled in the water, a string of headlights streaming across the bridge nearby, but here it was dark and quiet with only a little light to show him Porsche’s face.
He looked happy, at first, his cheeks pink and his smile wide. It was disarming, genuine and honest, aimed at Vegas without intent or agenda. Vegas told himself that it was a weakness; his heart sang a different song.
But then the smile dipped, and his head dropped, and Vegas knew he’d been right; softness always meant weakness.
Vegas played his opening gambit. “Tankhun looked wasted, I don’t think I’ve ever seen him like that. I take it you had a good night?”
Porsche shrugged. “I guess so.”
“You guess so? You know you smell like perfume, right?” Vegas asked, grinning.
“Oh. Yeah. I met a woman at the bar and we went outside but…” Porsche sighed, tilted his head back. The moonlight silvered his bronze skin; he looked, Vegas thought, beautiful. “My head wasn’t in the right place, I s’pose. It’s not usually a problem for me, I can switch off my brain when I’m with someone, but since that thing with Kinn - ” At that he stopped dead, eyes widening before he looked away.
A cool, vicious thrill spiked in Vegas’s gut. As he’d hoped, maybe even expected, Kinn had overplayed his hand, and Vegas was ready to reap the benefits.
Vegas laid a gentle hand on Porsche’s shoulder. “Hey, are you okay?”
“I have no fucking idea,” Porsche said, something raw in his voice and his eyes. “I’m really confused, and I feel like I don’t know myself any more, and I’m making all these stupid choices and I don’t even know why. Do you ever feel like that?” He glanced over at Vegas, and shook his head. “No, of course you don’t. You always know what you’re doing, right?”
Vegas blinked, covered his surprise. “I like to have a plan, if that’s what you mean. Doesn’t mean I always know what I’m doing.”
“But you’re so…put-together all the time,” Porsche said, tilting his head in an alarmingly endearing way. “Your clothes, and your hair - your amazing bike over there…not like me, I just stumble from one disaster to the next. Runs in the family, I guess.”
Vegas took a moment to think, unsettled and uncertain. “I don’t think that’s true,” he eventually said. “You seem to be doing fine to me. Being a bodyguard is a tough job, I couldn’t do it. But you look like you’re fitting right into it.”
“Fuck, don’t say that,” Porsche exclaimed. “I’m only here to protect my brother, this isn’t who I want to be. The dumb thing is, if he knew what I was doing he’d be so ashamed.” His tone was plaintive and vulnerable; it called to the predator in Vegas.
“Surely he’d appreciate you taking care of him?” Vegas asked.
“I don’t know about that.” Porsche slumped back on the bench, his long legs sprawling out in front of him. “For as long as I can remember, I’ve had to be more of a parent than a brother, and it sucks. I don’t know how to be his dad, y’know? But our uncle is useless and just brings trouble into our home. I do my best to shield Chay, I don’t want him to have to do the same ugly shit that I’ve done just to survive. Thing is, he’s almost 18 and suddenly thinks he knows it all, but when I look at him I still see that miserable little kid who kept asking where our parents had gone.” He swiped the back of his hand across his nose, glanced over at Vegas and said, “But you know what that’s like, right? You look out for Macau, I mean.”
“Yeah, I do,” Vegas said, thrown. That instinct to pounce on Porsche’s vulnerability was ebbing, replaced by a sense of empathy, connection. “My father wants him to start getting more involved with our family business, but I’ve been shielding him from it as much as I can. I can’t do it forever, though.”
“Yeah, exactly,” Porsche nodded, nudging Vegas with his elbow. “I knew you’d get it.”
Vegas smiled, unable to resist. “But do the little shits appreciate it?”
Porsche laughed, sudden and irresistible. “No, they definitely do not.”
The silence stretched, and Vegas let it expand comfortably between them. He knew that Porsche’s life was filled with noise and busyness, commands and directions; he needed to be different, a safe place for Porsche.
“Why does Kinn hate you so much?” Porsche asked eventually. “You’re family, right? But he keeps telling me not to trust you, and I don’t get it at all. You’ve been so kind to me - like tonight.”
Against all odds, a weird swirling sense of regret kicked up in Vegas’s gut. But he smiled softly and said, “We’re family, yeah, but that doesn’t mean anything. He sees me as a rival, not a cousin. That’s the way we’ve been raised - I know it might not make sense to an outsider but that’s how it’s always been.”
“Well, that’s stupid,” Porsche said bluntly. “Family is everything. You should all support each other, not fight over everything.” He looked at Vegas, completely without obfuscation. “Did you never get on, then? With any of them?”
Vegas was all set to use the opening, say something to undermine Kinn and build sympathy for himself. But then, out of nowhere, he was hit with a memory of playing in the park with Kinn while their mothers sat chatting in the sunshine. He hadn’t thought about that for a long time, and to his horror he felt his throat thicken and burn. He was about to shrug it off, get back to his plan, until he saw what looked like sympathy in Porsche’s expressive eyes and the words began to flow.
“We used to play together - Kinn and I, I mean. Our mothers would arrange it, when our fathers were busy. Sometimes we’d picnic in the park, or go to our favourite sweet shop, or drive out along the coast and spend the day by the sea.”
“That sounds nice,” Porsche said.
“It was,” Vegas said. “But then Pa found out and he…he put a stop to it.”
“Oh,” Porsche said; just that, oh, but it was soft and understanding, and Vegas had to clench his jaw against the tears that prickled behind his eyes.
The silence swept back in and Vegas fought for control of himself; he was off-plan, unprepared.
“I suppose,” Porsche said slowly, “that it’s hard for you to make friends in your position. But maybe, if it’s not too weird or, like, against the rules…maybe you could think of me as your friend.”
Vegas laughed; he’d prepared a line just like that to use on Porsche, and the ridiculous coincidence struck him as hilarious.
Porsche frowned, sat up straighter. “Okay, I get it, you wouldn’t want to be friends with someone like me.”
“No, Porsche,” Vegas said, unthinkingly reaching out to grasp Porsche’s arm. “It’s not that - of course I want to be friends with you. It’s just…nobody’s ever said anything like that to me. Everyone’s scared of me, or hates me, or wants to use me.” He stopped himself, honesty swelling too close to the surface.
“I’m not scared of you,” Porsche said with a big grin, knocking his elbow into Vegas’s ribs again. “I think you’re a much nicer guy than anyone realises.”
Painful as it was, Vegas managed to smile. “You’re sweet, Porsche. But you’re wrong.”
“I’m not,” Porsche insisted. “I know these things. I’m good at reading people.”
It was almost funny, how wrong Porsche was; how much Vegas wished he was right.
“We should be getting back,” Vegas said, his reluctance less of an act than it should have been. “Kinn will be thinking I’ve kidnapped you.”
“I don’t really give a flying fuck what Kinn thinks,” Porsche said expansively, but he stood when Vegas did. “Thanks for tonight, though. I needed to get away for a while.”
“You can always reach out to me,” Vegas said, his hand resting on Porsche’s arm for a long moment.
Porsche’s expression, for once, was hard to read as he studied Vegas’s face. “You too,” he said. “The only good thing to come out of this mess so far…is you.”
Vegas had no answer to that. He let Porsche drive home, smiled and demurred at Porsche’s gratitude. When Porsche hugged him, tight and close and sincere, Vegas closed his eyes and squeezed back just as hard. It was foolish, and childish, but for a moment he let himself pretend that they could actually be friends.
* * *
Vegas smoothed back his hair as he waited for Porsche to answer the bell. Behind him in the darkness stood a group of men, waiting as instructed.
The gate creaked open and Porsche said, “Vegas? What are you doing here?”
“I came to warn you,” Vegas said, adding a little fear to his tone. “One of our informants told me that there’s a plot to kidnap Kinn - is he here yet?”
“No,” Porsche frowned. “Why would you think that?”
“Pa called Uncle Korn to tell him what we’d heard, and he mentioned you had this week off. Apparently your roommate said Kinn was planning to come here to see you.”
Porsche’s expression melted from confusion to annoyance. “To drag me back, probably. Asshole.”
Porsche’s eye roll made Vegas smile, until he caught and hid it. “I brought some men with me to protect you, you should come with me now,” he said. “Uncle Korn is going to call Kinn back home.”
“So much for my week off,” Porsche sighed, “but you didn’t have to come all the way out here yourself, you could have called me.”
“I wanted to make sure you were safe,” Vegas said, a lie but also not.
Porsche smiled and gestured Vegas inside. “Well, come in for a second while I explain to my friends.”
“And Porchay? He needs to leave too,” Vegas said, following Porsche across the lawn.
Porsche smiled over his shoulder. “It’s okay, he’s away at camp. Thank you, though.”
Guilt tugged at Vegas’s belly. “Sure. I have a younger brother too, remember?”
Two men were sitting at the garden table, the air thick with the smell of pork frying. One smiled at Vegas, the other narrowed his eyes and blatantly looked Vegas up and down.
“This is Jom, and Tem,” Porsche told Vegas, then said to his friends, “Sorry, but you need to go home. I have to leave now.”
“Oh? Emergency booty call?” asked Jom, waggling his eyebrows.
“Some men are on their way here who you really don’t want to meet,” Vegas said, noting subtly how Porsche blushed at Jom’s words. “I’m sorry to break up your evening, gentlemen, but believe me that it’s for your own good.”
When they looked at him sceptically, Porsche added, “He’s not kidding - clear off home, now!”
“Ugh, fine,” Jom grumbled, stuffing his mouth as he stood.
“Will you be okay?” Tem asked Porsche.
“Sure, Vegas will take care of me,” Porsche said.
Vegas froze as Porsche’s words thudded into his skin like bullets. His trust in Vegas, instinctual and freely given, felt like a burden and a blessing all at once. It was new, but not unwelcome, and made Vegas feel like scum.
As they all hurried across the lawn, Kinn stepped in through the open gate. “Porsche?” he said, his puzzled frown turning into a sneer as he added, “Vegas? What the hell are you doing here?”
“Didn’t you get the call from your father?” Vegas asked, striving to keep the triumph locked down inside. “Donna Giulietta has sent some men after you, they’re probably tailing you right now. I came here to warn Porsche that you might be bringing danger to his door.”
“You fucking snake,” Kinn growled, moving towards Vegas, but Porsche stepped in between them to everyone’s surprise.
“Look, we all have to leave before those thugs arrive,” Porsche said, glaring at Kinn. “Vegas is here to help me, and I trust him. I’m not sure why you’re here, though.”
A flash of hurt surprise crossed Kinn’s face, before he schooled it back to his habitual scowl. “Well, how convenient. How do you know he didn’t bring them here?”
“If he was behind this, would he really have called your father to warn him, and then come here to help me?” Porsche snapped back.
“Porsche,” Vegas said, taking Porsche’s arm, “we don’t have time, they could be here any minute.”
As if on cue, a white van screeched around the corner. Vegas barked orders for his men to get Kinn to safety, then hurried Porsche across to his bike. As Porsche gunned the engine and Vegas climbed on behind him, he was unable to resist a grin back at Kinn before they sped away.
* * *
Vegas directed Porsche to his family’s safehouse. The Italians weren’t aware of it, Kinn had never been there, and it was probably the safest place for them to be. It was also peaceful, serene, beautiful without being showy; a contrast to the opulence of the main compound, and hopefully a place where Porsche would feel relaxed.
“Wow,” Porsche breathed, strolling out along a pier to a small summerhouse sitting over the lake. “This is gorgeous.”
Vegas leaned on the railing beside him, watching the stars swimming in the black water. “Yeah. I’d live here all the time, if I could.”
“Why can’t you?” Porsche asked, glancing over at him. “It’s not that far out of the city.”
“Macau needs to be near his school, he couldn’t live here, and I wouldn’t leave him,” Vegas said. “And anyway, Pa would never agree. He wants me close, so he can keep an eye on me.”
Porsche turned to face Vegas, one elbow on the wooden railing. “Hey, thanks for getting me out of there. That was a pretty close call.”
“Sure,” Vegas said, and smiled. “I told you before, I’m here when you need me.”
The words were like bile in his mouth. Somehow, lying to Porsche wasn’t the same as lying to Tawan. His secret lover was also a liar and a cheat, but gobbled up every word of praise, every platitude, every false declaration; it was easy, unsatisfying. But Porsche was earnest and genuine, sincere, kind. Lying to him made Vegas feel the weight of every label that had ever been pinned to his chest, made him long to be a different man.
Without warning, Porsche leaned forward and kissed him. Vegas was stunned, caught in a moment of hesitation. This was the perfect outcome, the fruition of his plan, the best possible way to hurt and weaken Kinn. Why, then, was he reluctant to pounce on it?
Porsche pulled back, brows drawing down. “Sorry, you don’t seem…I thought you liked me.”
“I do,” Vegas said, grasping Porsche’s hand. “That was just sudden - I didn’t know you were interested in me that way.”
Porsche’s smile was a light in the darkness. “Well, I am,” he said playfully. “What are you going to do about it?”
This was what he’d wanted, what he’d planned and worked and manoeuvred for; but again, the flirty response stuck in Vegas’s mouth.
“Vegas?” Porsche asked, a touch of hurt in his tone but his thumb stroking gently over Vegas’s hand. “What’s wrong?”
“Nothing,” Vegas said, summoning a smile. “Tonight’s just been…a lot.”
Porsche’s free hand lifted to rest on Vegas’s cheek, butterfly-light. “I know. But we’re safe now.” He leaned in, watching Vegas’s mouth, and kissed him again.
Vegas closed his eyes and kissed Porsche back, a hand on his hip to pull him closer. He felt exhilarated and sick, aroused and disgusted, until it was too much and he had to draw back again.
“I can’t, Porsche,” he gasped, adrenalin making him shaky. “It’s not fair, you don’t deserve this.”
“I don’t know what that means, but I can make my own decisions, Vegas - I’ve had enough of other people deciding what I need.”
“No, listen to me -  I’m not the man you think I am,” Vegas said, a sense of desperation creeping over him; he couldn’t bear to imagine that soft glow in Porsche’s eyes turning to loathing when he realised he’d been played.
“I don’t care,” Porsche persisted. “I know you’ve done bad things, probably even worse than I know, but I still want you, Vegas. You’re the only thing that makes sense to me any more.”
When Porsche kissed him again, Vegas was too weak to resist.

Stalker Vegas and Police Officer Pete AU
Ok so @dramaloverrants gave me a prompt a while ago and this one started as a handful of ideas and then proceeded to write itself halfway through.
It all starts when Vegas at 16 gets smacked around by Kan and comes back to his room to see his poor pet very very dead. With teary eyes and bruised face, he runs out of the house clutching a dead hedgehog. He gets lost.
Meanwhile, Pete is contemplating what to do about dinner on his way back from Police Academy when he hears sniffling in an alley. He peers in to see some crying kid and being the aspiring police officer he is, he stops to talk to him.
Pete sees a poor crying kid with a bruised face and dead pet and remembers his own younger self who used to be smacked around by his dad before he was arrested. He can’t just leave him.
Vegas meanwhile thinks the universe is smiling on him for once. In the alley, with the glow of the setting sun behind him, is the prettiest person he’s ever seen. The angel holds his hand all the way to the park. They bury his unnamed hedgehog at the park. The angel wants to know his name and, since he doesn’t have one, decides he’s now Khun Spikes.
They have dinner where the angel tells him that he’s not the problem, his father is. Despite it being from a tiny hole in the wall restaurant, the curry is the best thing Vegas has ever had. When the angel smiles at him, Vegas knows he’s in love.
The angel takes him home and as he’s getting ready to leave, Vegas can’t take it anymore. “Are you an angel?” He asks. “No, I’m going to be a police officer. My name is Pete.” And he turns to leave again.
Pete’s dropped the kid off at home and feeling good about his good deed of the day. He’s never been called an angel before and some part of him warms at the thought. He takes two more steps before the kid yells at him. “My name is Vegas. And one day I’m gonna marry you.” He turns back to laugh but the kid-Vegas looks absolutely serious. And he shouldn’t. But he can’t really help it. He steps back and smiles at Vegas. “Better grow up fast then.” He teases. He’s leaving for real this time and he can hear Vegas yell back that he will. His steps get faster as his cheeks warm. It’s flattering to be liked this much, even if it’s just a kid.
Vegas meanwhile is pouting. His angel doesn’t believe him. Well, Vegas is gonna grow up to be so handsome so his angel has no choice but to fall in love with him too. In the meantime, he has to make sure Pete doesn’t forget him. He’s desperate enough to ask advice from his cousin. Surely, Tankhun knows more about wooing people than him. He’s always watching romance dramas all day long.
Tankhun is very surprised to get a call from his cousin. He’s even more surprised at the question. “How do you make someone fall in love with you?” “You buy them gifts.” Tankhun decides. “Gifts?” “Yes, gifts. So they know you’re thinking of them. You buy them chocolate and flowers and stuff they like.” He doesn’t know what his angel likes (other than curry) but chocolate and flowers he can do. Once he figures out where he lives that is.
So really what happens next is all Tankhun’s fault.
Well, he stalks the local police academy until he finds Pete and starts getting him flowers and chocolate and talking to him all the way home. Pete is actually really surprised by this attention and the constant will you be my boyfriend. But Vegas is a kid. “You’re only two years older than me.” Vegas pouts every time. Even all of Pete’s classmates at the academy know Vegas. It’s a rare week indeed when he doesn’t show up with a present for Pete.
One day, Vegas shows up really upset and insists Pete come to the park with him. They’re sitting in the grass near Khun Spikes when Vegas tells him his dad is sending him to study abroad. And Pete feels his heart crack because really he had fallen for Vegas too and had been waiting for him to grow up. But he manages a smile. “It’s a great opportunity and you’ll learn a lot.” Vegas doesn’t smile. “Will you wait for me?” And Pete feels his smile falter. Vegas leans in closer. “Promise you’ll wait for me.” And with those eyes boring into his soul, what can Pete do but agree. Vegas smiles and leans in even closer. “Tell me to stop.” It’s obvious what’s happening as his hand rises to cradle Petes cheek. He should tell him to stop. But Pete is a weak man and closes his eyes instead. It’s the most perfect kiss he’s ever had.
When he gets home, Pete pulls out all of his alcohol and gets drunk. Because Vegas is so handsome and his earnest feelings for Pete had made him very cute. Surely, he’ll meet someone else abroad and forget all about Pete. It’s very easy for Pete to promise he’ll wait for him because no one has ever wanted Pete the way Vegas does. No one has ever made Pete feel as important as Vegas has. Pete has never once in his life deluded himself. If he’s a storybook character, he’s a side character at best. If he’s very lucky, maybe the hero’s best friend. But he’s never once considered himself the main character. That’s people like Vegas. Maybe with his abusive father, in another life, Vegas would’ve ended up as the villain of a story but in this one, Pete is sure that he’s the main character or maybe the main characters love interest. It’s a minor miracle, a strange twist of faith, that he noticed Pete at all. When he gets to America, he’ll meet other main characters and fall in love with one of them. Tomorrow, he’ll go back to work but today, he drowns his regrets.
Six years later, Pete has continued his habit of visiting Khun Spikes once a week. He’s now a police officer, no longer merely aspiring. It’s been long enough that his friends have stopped teasing him about Vegas and have given up trying to set him up with other people. It’s a warm spring day when he gets there and someone is already there. When he turns, Pete only needs one look at his face to know it’s Vegas. And he has no idea what to say. Because he never actually expected Vegas to come back for him.
Before they can say anything, someone else pops up to cling to Vegas’ arm. And Pete only needs to take one look at the pretty face and confident aura to realize this is another main character. As expected, Vegas found someone else. And even as his heart breaks, he grows angry and runs away. Back home, he pulls out all his alcohol and cries silent angry tears. It’s one thing to know Vegas would find someone else but it’s another thing entirely to have to watch it. He’s not going to be the side character who’s best friends with and secretly in love with the main character who never notices because he has someone else. He’s not. He’s never talking to Vegas again.
Vegas meanwhile is irritated as hell. Tawan is an annoying clingy person he met in university who says he’s in love with Vegas. And now, he’s not only followed him back to Bangkok but also ruined his reunion with his angel. He shakes him off and goes to find Pete who refuses to engage, open the door, or talk to him. And what can Vegas do except track him down at work the next day. Where Pete refuses to talk to him. He leaves packages of chocolates, Pete’s favorite flowers at his door. None of them are accepted. And Vegas gets desperate what is something Pete will have to accept?
And that’s how Vegas starts tracking down wanted criminals and leaving them at the door of the police station with a hedgehog poker chip in their pocket so Pete knows it was him. As expected, Pete has no choice but to arrest them and thus accept his gift. He continues to hang around the police station to try to talk to Pete. Mostly, he walks with Pete who ignores him all the way home and then shuts the door on him.
One day, he gets told that Pete’s not in because he was injured in a mugging the night before. He commissions a switchblade and leaves it at Pete’s door. He’s pleased when Pete doesn’t throw that one away. Pete still won’t talk to him but he no longer tries to get rid of him either. He’ll take the small win.
At some point, Pete comes to work to find a box on his desk. His nosy colleagues gather to watch him open it to find a hedgehog. It’s a brief moment of spite that has him declare that its name is Vegas. It takes maybe ten minutes before one of his coworkers shortens it to Veggie.
Veggie is a comfort. He can rant about Vegas who still hasn’t stopped following him home all he wants. Vegas has someone else now he complains to Veggie. Why is he so intent on stealing Pete’s heart again? (He conveniently ignores that he never actually managed to get it back from Vegas) Sometimes, he brings Veggie to work for his coworkers to fuss over. One day, he comes out of a meeting to find someone got a small police hat for Veggie and named him the police mascot.
It’s as he’s carrying Veggie home one day that he realizes he hasn’t been to see Khun Spikes since Vegas came back. And well, he refuses to let Vegas dictate his life like that.
Pete and Veggie have been with Khun Spikes for a while when Vegas finally stops watching him like a creep and comes closer. Pete’s still ignoring him when he slowly sinks down to sit next to him. He waits. No movement from Pete. In a flash, he’s wrapped himself around a very startled Pete.
It’s very hard to think when Vegas is wrapped around him like this. “Let go.” “No.” He sounds like that petulant pouting boy every time Pete called him a kid and he can’t help the curl of fondness in his chest. “I’m leaving.” Vegas holds him tighter. “Be my boyfriend.” “Are we seriously still doing this?” “ You promised you’d wait for me Pete.” And Pete can’t take this anymore. “What about that other guy, huh? Let go Vegas.”
Vegas is appalled. This is about Tawan? He can’t help it. He bursts out laughing. Pete obviously takes offense at this because he’s elbowing his way out of his arms and that won’t do at all. He holds on even tighter.
When Vegas laughs at him, he feels a sting of hurt and angry tears spring to his eyes. He holds onto that anger to try to get out. He shouldn’t have let Vegas get this close again. It was a mistake. Vegas doesn’t let him go because of course he doesn’t. He doesn’t really have the energy to struggle for long. He’s tired.
Pete stops trying to leave him and just sags instead. He can’t help but press a quiet kiss to his cheek. “You know it’s always been you, don’t you? I already made him leave me alone and go back to America.”
The quiet confession leaves him speechless and he doesn’t know what to say. Vegas’ grip on his waist tightens. “Pete. Be my boyfriend.” Those eyes are boring into him again. And Pete is a weak man. “Yes.”
By the time they’ve stopped kissing, the sun is setting. And Veggie is right next to the mound of dirt that marks Khun Spikes’ grave looking as judgmental as a hedgehog could possibly look. This time, they grab Veggie and hold hands the way back. And this time, when Pete gets home, Vegas comes in too. And this time, he doesn’t leave.
(The plot was not this long when I started but it took life on its own. Why the prompt of doctor Vegas became a serial killer and the prompt of Vegas leaves criminals at the police station for Pete became this fluffy thing, I have no idea.
Not included in the fic but all of Pete’s police academy classmates remembers Vegas and totally know what’s going on once the hedgehog poker chipped criminals start showing up)

My #1 post of 2022
You know that bit when sky says 'p'pai' and prapai goes 'hmm?' twice and prapai is struggling to hold it together trying to be strong for sky but tears are still escaping and then sky asks 'can I really love you?' and sky's smiling in disbelief because for the longest time he thought he was worthless and he asks 'can I?' again but this time without a smile slightly pleading and prapai whispers 'yes' back and they're both staring into each others eyes barely blinking, heads so close together all the while prapai hasn't stopped stroking sky's hair, do you know this bit. Do you recall it?
yeah this bit did irreversible emotional and mental damage to me

Just for fun, here are some flower meanings/symbolism that I found online that I took into consideration when choosing flowers for this fic. I found this info online, so some of these might be super wrong... 🙃 (there are so many sources and interpretations lmao)
Funnily enough, the only thing worthwhile that I actually know about flowers is how to care for an orchid 🤣
(there are some spoilers for the fic)
Bird of Paradise can symbolize freedom, opportunity, identity, glamour, faithfulness, joy, paradise. Kim buys these for Khun because of the obvious reasons, but I also like to see this as Kim using it as an opportunity to introduce himself to Chay.
Peach coloured roses symbolize sincerity and gratitude. These are the flowers that Chay suggests Kim give to his manager as thanks. Chay's preferred flower of thanks, which Kim not-so-subtly asks about are peonies, which have romantic connotations and are more appropriate to give as thanks to a spouse/partner.
Tulips are known for deep love, and there is apparently a version of a Turkish/Persian legend that involves a stone cutter who is rejected by a princess and goes to the hills to play music for her. When she hears about it, it wins her over. But her father, the king, isn't too happy about it, so he orders the stone cutter to dig a giant canal to prove his love. The king sends a courtesan to tell the stone cutter his daughter died, and the stone cutter kills himself because of his grief. When the daughter learns about this, she goes to find him and kills herself to be with him. Red tulips grow on the ground where their blood was spilled as a symbol of their everlasting love. Not gonna lie, the wooing with music bit made me want to include tulips. Also, I do love a good pun in a title.
And of course sunflowers evoke happiness, optimism, and hope. And they also symbolize loyalty and devotion, strength and resilience, and facing the light.
😊🌻
hii! 5 (florist) and 22 (obliviousness leads to frustration) for kimchay? <3
HI! SORRY THIS IS SO LATE. I worked on this inside a tent a few days ago while it was raining, and now I'm posting it while waiting to board a ferry :')
Chay nearly goes into cardiac arrest when he returns to the front of the shop.
There is a man inside, backlit by the morning sun streaming through the windows, reaching out to caress the petals of a potted sunflower. Chay could recognize that silhouette anywhere.

October 2022 BL Forthcoming
Oct 3
Tumblr media
To Sir With Love
AKA Khun Chai - Thai (Trailer) 10 eps 40 min ea
A Thai HISTORICAL gay romance came outta nowhere (probubly not BL, more cray cray family drama). Does not look like it’s gonna end happy, but I’m still excited.
One31HD, no idea on international, possibly WeTV
Tumblr media
Kabe Koji
AKA Kabesaa AKA Kabesaa Doujin Sakka no Neko Yashiki-kun wa Shounin Yokkyuu wo Kojirasete iru* - Japan 10 eps 20 min ea
Gossip here. A manga artist wants nothing more than to see his yaoi on shelves and be recognized by readers. Then one day he meets a childhood friend he once had a crush on who is now an idol. From Minamoto Kazuki's manga Kabe Sa Doujin Sakka no Neko Yashiki-kun wa Shouninyokkyuu wo Kojiraseteiru, stars Matsuoka Koudai (the mangaka - I know him from Five) and Nakao Masaki (the idol - Kakafukaka, Bow Then Kiss - he’s a BIG DEAL ya’ll).
Viki
* JUST PICK A TITLE, JAPAN
Oct 5
Tumblr media
Ghost Host, Ghost House
Thai (Trailer) 5 eps 30 min? ea
My ghost bf trope. Kawin (Love Area), a live streamer who hopes to see ghosts once, and Pluem, a young man who fills in his missing feelings. Could be sad.
YouTube for reruns
Oct 8
Tumblr media
Big Dragon
Thai (Trailer) 8 ep 40 min ea
Star Hunter’s back and bringing on the chaos as per usual. Based on the y- novel, มังกรกินใหญ่ by Aiden N Vivienne (reputed to be plotless smut), features Mangkorn (Dragon) & Yai (Big) in a high angst blackmail plot plus a secret piece on the side. 2022 is the year BL glorifies cheaters, apparently.
OneTV reruns on Star Hunter’s YT
Oct 9
Tumblr media
Remember Me
AKA Remember the series - Thai (Trailer) 8 ep 40 min ea
JaFirst + plus same cast (and production company, Ultimate Troop) as The Yearbook. Also has Title (LBCs+) and Mean (LBC2) in possibly one of BLs worst ever wigs (and that is saying a lot).
Thailand! Put down the wigs and the acoustic guitar. I am losing patience here.
Gaga
Oct 10
Tumblr media
2 Moons: The Ambassador
AKA 2 Moons 3 Thai (Trailer) 10 eps 40 min ea
From Motive Village for Amarin TV. I predict a shit show. But it is supposed to finally finish out the plot of 2M2 with added 2 more couples. Because why not?
Who tf cares?
Oct 13
Tumblr media
Circumstances of Pungdeok Villa Room 304
AKA Roommates of Poongduck 304 Korea 8 eps 20 ea
From Idol Romance, A happy-go-lucky third-generation chaebol receives an ultimatum from daddy to: 1. Leave the house penniless and survive for 2 years; and 2. Achieve results as team leader in a new business venture. The owner of the villa he lands in ignores and disregards him. However, it turns out they work in the same company. Let the cohabitation office drama commence.
Stars Kim Ji Woong & Yoon Seo Bin of Kissable Lips - Korea’s first example of a co branded repeat pair. Also will feature Singer-actor Holland (Ocean Likes Me) and Actor Kang Woo Jung (Once Again). I liked them all A LOT and am very excited about this show.
Viki (not sure on this air date)
Tumblr media
SELF
Thai
A young artist (musician? NO!)  mysteriously loses his reflection and sees a strange boy in the mirror instead, PNR and/or horror. Stars fresh faces, directed by Too (Triage) and NutSor (screenwriter of Dew). Could be sad.
Oct 14
Tumblr media
My Tooth Your Love
Taiwan (Trailer) 12 eps 30 min ea
From Result Entertainment (producers of We Best Love) a story about a dentist and his patient, also a bar owner and a rebellious young man (who takes the initiative even with a 12 year age gap). Stars Andy Wu (Amensalism), and Alex Chou (composer/musician and the bartender in WBL). Script by Lin Pei who loves VERY traditional yaoi tropes (HIStory1: Obsessed, HIStory2: Right or Wrong, HIStory2: Crossing the Line, HIStory3: Trapped, WBL, & See You After Quarantine?)
Gaga & Viki
Oct 15
Tumblr media
Hard Love Mission
Thai (Trailer)
Thai pulp about a journalist sent to interview a celebrity on an island who then ends up his manager.
WeTV & iQiyi?

Wish Me Luck
Thai
About a boss and his temporary employee in an advertising company, based on Bittersweet's y-novel of the same name สุดที่รักษ์. Starring my boy Fiat (Grean Fictions, SOTUS S, My Gear and Your Gown, Triage) who I’ve been waiting to lead a BL for a decade (it feels like) and Na Naphat (KinnPorsche, UWMA).
Oct 20
Tumblr media
Eternal Yesterday
AKA Eien no Kino Japan 8 eps 25 ea
Japan takes on ghost boyfriends now? Is no country safe from this damn trope? Taking over Takara-kun and Amagi-kun's time slot in the home country this is a school romance between two boys. After one of them is run over, other friends gradually forget about his existence.
Distribution unknown.
Tumblr media
Oct 28
Grand Guignol
movie (Trailer)
Japan’s school horror BL movie グランギニョール starring Rio Komiya (Eternal Yesterday) and Ryosuke Sota (Mr Unlucky) among others.
Oct 29
Tumblr media
Till The World Ends
Boys, trapped somewhere, end of world, yadda yadda. Art’s (What the Duck) comeback, so that’s interesting.
Distribution unknown.
Oct ?
Tumblr media
Choco Milk Shake
Korea (Teaser) 8 eps 15 ea
Strongberry bringing us a full length romcom that looks bonkers. Childhood pets reincarnated as humans find their former owner and flirt with him, I guess. In Strongberry we trust but this premise is testing me.
Distribution unknown.
My Roommate
Thai (Trailer)
I couldn’t even watch the trailer, the sound and filming was that awful.
YouTube I think.

When Another Member Accidentally Reveals Your Relationship ~ 2PM Reaction
Jun.K:
As he closed the door, Minjun turned his camera around to say goodbye to the fans after Junho arrived. “Please tell me that’s Y/N’s jumper on the back of your sofa,” Junho spoke, unaware of what was happening.
“Who’s Y/N?” Minjun asked.
“Y-your girlfriend,” Junho replied, quickly trailing off however when he noticed exactly what Minjun was doing.
“Smart one,” Minjun groaned, unable to look at the comments popping up on the screen, “I asked you the question, so you’d realise that you’d made a mistake.”
Junho scratched over the top of his head anxiously, “you shouldn’t leave your girlfriend’s clothes lying around the place, how could I not comment on it?”
“Are you going to stick around now whilst I give the fans an explanation?” Minjun asked, refusing to let Junho get away so easy.
Junho’s head shook with a shy, throwing himself down onto the sofa, “don’t worry, I already know Y/N is going to kill me as well now that I’ve done this.”
“I’d love to tell you that you’re wrong,” Minjun agreed, “but she was even keener to keep things private than I was, you’ve dropped us in it.”
“Y/N’s never going to speak to me again.”
Tumblr media
Nichkhun:
All eyes looked to Nichkhun as the fan asked the question during the middle of the fan meet, with Chansung even asking them to repeat themselves. “I was just wondering if any of you had support here today?”
“Khun you-“ Chansung even spoke.
“I have no one,” Nichkhun lied, feeling the eyes of the rest of the group watching over him, “none of them do too.”
“Well, that’s not strictly true, you said one of your friends was here today,” Chansung smiled, “why don’t you introduce Y/N to everyone, she’s just a friend.”
From across the stage, Taecyeon cleared his throat loudly, “did you tell Chansung that Y/N was just your friend? Or is he covering for you right now in front of the fans?”
“Have I just dropped you in it?” Chansung called out, his eyes going wide when Nichkhun nodded back at him.
A sigh followed as he brought the mic up again, “I only told Taec we were dating whilst things were starting out, although now thousands know who she is.”
“I should have just said that you had no one here too, shouldn’t I?” Chansung chuckled as he made his way back up onto the stage.
“Yeah, I think that would have been for the best.”
Tumblr media
Taecyeon:
The topic of relationships was always inevitable, and as soon as the words were muttered by the interviewer, everyone went tense. “You guys always refuse to talk about relationships, but is that really true?”
“Well it can-“ Wooyoung faltered.
“Of course, it is,” Minjun interjected, talking over Wooyoung as loudly as he could, “we’re all just enjoying working.”
“Really?” The interviewer pushed, keeping a close eye on Wooyoung, “because it looked as if you were pretty close to sharing someone’s secret just then.”
Taecyeon let go of a groan, knowing that they would be pushed and pushed. “I’m in the early stages of a relationship, but it’s still very new and exciting for me.”
“Sorry,” Wooyoung mouthed as Taecyeon shot a glare in his direction once he had finished responding to the question.
The interviewer nodded, sensing the tension between the two of them, “I imagine your dressing room will be a bit tense once we’re done here.”
“Accidents happen,” Taecyeon corrected, refusing to let her paint the wrong picture, “everyone has a lapse in concentration, don’t they Wooyoung?”
“Yeah, some just more than others.”
Tumblr media
Wooyoung:
They were lost in the moment as they all thought the cameras stopped rolling at the end of yet another show, with a live at the end too. “Woo, please tell me you didn’t teach Y/N to dance like she did tonight.”
“Not yet,” Nichkhun murmured.
“Weren’t the fans amazing?” Chansung asked, in the hope it would distract as most of them watched the cameras shut down.
“Were they still on when he asked the question?” Wooyoung nervously asked, watching as Taecyeon took several steps away from the rest of the group anxiously.
Beside him, Nichkhun could only shrug, “to me it looked like they were still on, the green light was flickering though because of the low battery on it.”
“They cut the cameras as soon as Minjun finished the ending,” Taecyeon tried to correct, but even the staff were doubtful.
Wooyoung groaned loudly before turning around to look at Taecyeon, “have you just revealed my relationship, at the end of a V Live too? This is bad.”
“I really didn’t mean to,” Taecyeon frowned, “but let’s just watch the live back first before jumping to too many conclusions, it might have missed.”
“You better hope that it has missed too.”
Tumblr media
Junho:
He barely had the chance to reply before Nichkhun pushed the studio door open, glancing around the place. “Y/N’s phone, have you seen it? She said she had it in here at lunch with you?” He innocently asked.
“Um, no,” Junho quickly replied.
“You’ve not even looked,” Nichkhun scolded, “she’s your girlfriend too, you know what her phone looks like more.”
“I said no,” Junho reiterated, nodding to the computer that was in front of him, watching on as the expression on Nichkhun’s face dropped when he realised the live.
He quickly moved back towards the studio door, apologising several times. “I think it’s a problem that can be sorted for a later time, no point searching now.”
“Where are you going?” Junho called out as Nichkhun tried to hurry away, “you can’t just drop me in it and then scamper.”
Nichkhun’s head shook as he peered back into the room, “I think that this is a conversation that just you and the fans need to have, no one else involved.”
“No chance,” Junho responded, “and you can be the one to tell Y/N exactly what you’ve done too, when you give her phone back to her too.”
“She’s scary, please don’t make me do this.”
Tumblr media
Chansung:
The feeling of a hand hitting against his arm made Minjun jump as he looked across to Chansung beside him. “What’s wrong?” Taecyeon questioned, noticing just how quickly Chansung had jumped too.
“That’s us there,” Chansung pointed out.
“No way,” Minjun frowned, as he noticed what was in the background of the clip that he had recorded, “I was careful.”
“Perhaps not careful enough,” Chansung sighed, as he watched the two of you embrace, knowing it was only a matter of time before others caught it too.
Minjun could only frown as he met Chansung’s eyes, “I had no idea that the two of you were behind me, if I knew then I never would have filmed whilst there.”
“It’s fine,” Chansung tried his best to reassure him, “although I’m not sure Y/N will be quiet as relaxed about the whole thing.”
Yet another sigh came from Minjun, knowing what you could be like, “can’t you have a word, remind her that all of this is just one big accident?”
“You’re on your own,” Chansung laughed, pushing Minjun away, “you’ve dug yourself the hole, it’s your turn to get yourself out of it too.”
“She’s going to go mental; I’m stuck.”

Help me please I can't get jealous Ehwa out of my head. Can I please have your take on Ehwa being jealous of Baam and puppet daughter's relationship ? Reader as the puppet daughter I mean. Baam and the puppet are drawn to each other naturally because of their moms, and the puppet is rather touchy because Baam's vital to her. Baam's touch starved too because of FUG so he accepts the platonic affection. And also her calling Baam "oppa" or "Viole oppa". Please and thank you <3
Jealousy
Where a harmless relationship identified as a threat
Tumblr media
“Oh?"
There are no other words to describe her. She’s out of many people's league, far from the title of stunning. Rather, she’s otherworldly, outstanding and those kinds of words are entitled against her. She was the embodiment of beauty and ethereal, the one that borned with such a flawless body and face.
A white porcelain skin, enveloping her entire body. A silky smooth light blue hair, worn loose and wavy, cascading down her shoulder and some of which covers her face. The young maiden has light blue eyes with long eyelashes, fluttering by the softest wind. She also has a beauty mark near her lip, adding more charm into her already.
Unlike the Khun's, she has a much brighter tone of hair and eyes. Flowing hair that looks tempting to thread against someone's palm. Her eyes resemble the diamond in the rough, sparkling underneath the light that descends down on her figure. Her figure only. It was as if she's the star of the show, the one and only person that is blessed with attention.
And Ehwa knows, the moment she notices her existence, everything seems blurry, bland and unsatisfied. She always and always speculates that she's charming enough to woo many people under her. But like the old saying goes, above the sky there is still more.
"Why does it matter? I've long known Oppa more than you."
A look of her father, yet a strong and monstrous personality of her mother. She upholds both of her parents in her, even when in truth, she's nothing more than a puppet that could be destroyed if someone put effort into it. She's fragile, she's ready to be cracked apart. However, she's unapproachable. The lack of emotions, the lack of proper humanity brings out the coldness within her.
She blinked, batting her long lashes and crooked her head to the side. "Yun Ehwa, I asked you a question. And I'll kindly repeat myself; why does it matter?"
"That…" Ehwa cannot look at her properly in the eyes, she look at the ground, unnerving. She should've known than to let those ugly, repulsive green monsters eat her alive. The jealousy she's feeling to her, to someone who's on equal ground as Baam.
Ehwa is here to settle everything, to confront her action and to stop her touchy – clingy ways around him. Unfortunately, it feels like it was the opposite thing. Rather, she feels like she's the one being prevented from doing what she always did. Having close contact with Baam, something she cannot do. Having most of his time, something she cannot receive. And having his affection, something she cannot have.
The golden hair accessories that swirling around her hair like a vine, even having one single rose stood out under the glimmering light. It mirrors down on the tile underneath them, sparkly bright golden hues that reflect in the greyish floor. She looks glamorous and lurid, contradictory to Ehwa.
"If you can't say it, do not waste my time." The puppet sighs, turning around on her heels and taking a few steps away. Each step grew farther and farther away, the click of the sole of her heels filling in the empty hallway. However, she abruptly stopped, lips parted open and head slowly turned around.
"Go…. Viole… you…"
"Can you repeat that?"
"...Go to Viole, you'll go search for him again, won't you?" Ehwa did not understand where that burst of confidence overflowed. She's completely unaware of the instinct that kicks in, ignoring the way the puppet remains silent.
"You really can't leave him alone, can you?" Ehwa take a few steps closer, jabbing her finger into the area of her collarbone, resulting for those pair of bright blue eyes, darkening. "You're like a lost puppy who cannot live without its owner's order. That's pathetic, that's pitiful."
She remained that, not once did she take another step away. Listening to each nonsense Ehwa has sputtering out. She's not the type to ever experience any kind of emotions, whether it's annoyance or not. Although, she could clarify that the girl in front of her is currently classified as annoying.
"You know, I don't like it at all. The way you cling on him as if your life's on the line, as if he's the only oxygen you're breathing…"
"The fact he wouldn't mind everything you did…"
"I don't like it. I hate it all. So, I'm here to say that you don't have any reason to act like tha—"
"So do you." After listening to her entire list of ramble, she finally cut off Ehwa words. Resulting for her to get rather offended, especially to what she had said to her.
"What do you mean, so do i?" The young maiden crossed her arms and looked at Ehwa in clear disinterest. "It's quite humorous, the things you've said. You acted as if you never treated Oppa wrongly."
That's enough to shut down every argument inside Ehwa mind. Her body stiffened hearing that, remembering of the past, their first meeting to be specific even. Even during that time, the girl in front of her has always stuck close to Baam's side. No matter the risk or even the consequences, she sticks close, showing no fear of the organization that controls the two of them.
She reached out, gripping on Ehwa shoulder – lightly. What she did not be considerate of, is how light it was for her and not for Ehwa. She winced in pain, reaching out to push away her hand but she did not budge. She remains there with an inexpressive face, eyes drilling into her soul.
"Remember this, and remember well. Who knows Oppa best in between us two?"
She let go of her grip, returning back her hand to the side and head off to seek for Baam. On that day, Ehwa cannot sympathize with her situation at all. Whether she's a puppet or not, she couldn't care less. She would not ever and forever ever, sympathize with such a being.
She may have taken the wrong alternative ways. In fact, Ehwa already takes the wrong steps when she assumes everything will go smoothly with the confrontation.

The most stupid character in KP the series! (Random post.. read only if you have nothing else to do)
Choose your pick!
1. Kim (very quickly climbing to rank 1 on my list) -
a) So, do you really expect a 17 yr old to have the same cunning as your mafia enemies who murder and kill (i mean even if he were from a terrorist organization, brainwashed, .. even then!!!)
b) you don’t even know that your dad suspects you of Sherlocking, you don’t know your own brother Tankhun knows about your Sherlocking (even his fishes do)
c) lol.. like you have zero idea about other people in the family. Somone wants to bet that Kim has no idea Macau and Chay are in the same school
d) How utterly dumb are you when you saw Porsche’s mother’s maiden name is same as your own family in ep 4, and here we are 3 episodes later in ep 7 you are wondering if chay’s mom was a mistress???? I mean .. NO!!!.. brain honey, brain.. use it
e) So much effort to get to Chay’s house.. when a 17 yr old could find your “Mystery” appartment in like a jiffy :P .. oh dear god!! you need to go home and take fundamental lessons on surviving mafia skills from Mr. Chang (sleuthing included)
d) do you know about the mole? Shouldn’t that be your priority?
*******************************
2. Kinn - lol.. i think god gave too much brains to one son, and then decided to balance it out with other two
a) Your dad knows, Your eldest brother knows, your eldest brothers’ fishes know.. BUT YOU have zero idea about what your youngest brother does.. oh !! Comeon
b) You are too simple-minded.. like too simple minded to really manage this business.. (you def. need Porsche’s cunning)
c) Doesn’t know his own bodyguard is simping over him.. when people on Mars can tell. Doesn’t know who is the mole after how many years?? :P ..
**********************************
3. Korn
a) lol.. like what is the game here? You can’t make your own subordinate sit on the other side of the chess and then claim you won!
b) Even a non mafia Mr. Tawan can read your brain and acts.. so really, what is the game here?
c) Also, you need to watch korean dramas with your son. you badly need lessons on doing the awful rich dad of male lead character well.. bonus, spice it up with kimchi slap and all
***********************************
4. Kann
a) I mean, it is not even a question. With you, let’s ask where is even that iota of brain cell.. he he.. so incompetent that you get zero screen time!
********************************
5. Job
a) Oh baby!!.. you are too protected and rusty now.. khun needs to swap you. You need to see the world
**********************************
6. Pete
i mean.. just pretend you are dumb so that we can get to VP arc very quickly
***********************************
7. Ken
if you are not a mole, then you are quite unaware of everything.. which ain’t good :P
*****************************
8. Big
like don’t you see Arm.. woo him.. he is single.. and HOT
why waste time over a mafia head who can get killed whenever :P .. and whose daddy will not allow you to have a future
I don’t get the obsession with one love.. there are so many good lips to taste.. get exploring :P
******************************
The most intelligent, please, is Tankhun!! and then Porchay, then Vegas, then Arm

New Story: The Ocean As Blue As the River Cried Last Night
New story is up~
Title: The Ocean As Blue As the River Cried Last Night
Author: Me (purrpickle)
Chapters: One-shot, Complete
Word Count: 4,100+
Rating: T
Fandom: GAP the Series
Pairing: Mon/Sam
Summary:
Sam shook her head and looked seriously at Singha, who perked up from cleaning his chin from the water he'd messily lapped up. "I am going to let you off the leash, Singha." Firming her voice, she cocked her head at him, raising her eyebrows, "But you are not going to run away. I am your owner for today, and you will do what I say. Hm?" Waiting for some kind of answer, and choosing the twitch of his ears at her as one, she made the OK sign at him before unlatching the leash from his collar.
Instead of staying at Mon's house to wait for her in the first part of Ep 9, Sam agrees to take Singha for the rest of the day like Teacher Pohn suggested. He ends up being the stimulus needed to start bringing Sam and Mon back together again.
A/N: I made up a private beach resort that was big enough for Sam and Singha to be alone. It's not Cherrisa, but like it. Only bigger and more private. For plot reasons.

21 Days Theory Live Blogging
seems cute and funny, there’s a queer adult uncle, it’s short which I think is fun, also 21 is my favourite number.
Episode 1 (Sep 8)
Part 1
Oh Q, so arrogant, could become irritating very quickly tbh
I hope this girl Mook is nice, BLs introducing a girl always makes me nervous
lmfao damn X is a dick. I remember seeing these scenes on social media when the episode came out but from Q’s confidence I thought he’d be the one antagonizing X but nah
oof poor Q getting antagonized by X and then having his friend Toy be like he’s so polite, you’re probably the one whole bullied him and won’t believe it’s the other way around lol
Part 2
omg I do hope Teacher Mind is gay and has a gf but I think they’re setting up her and Frank sigh
lol X now has Q’s number and address and he’s impressed his family as well
Episode 2 (Sep 10)
Part 1
I watched a bit of this yesterday but am mostly watching it today
I kinda don’t care about Q’s friends’ side stories. It’s a short series, focus on the main couple but I guess they want to introduce as many people to the audience as possible
Part 2
Watching on 1.25x because it’s a little slow/boring
loll pratfall but at least they didn’t kiss
lol? is the mom like my brother liking men is okay but I’m not okay with my son doing it? I mean I think Uncle Man is helping her and she’ll come around but still...
Q delegating the “woo Mook for me” tasks to his friends, what a silly guy
I want Q’s shirt
Linguistics/Pronouns: oh yeah, X uses pom/khun pronouns and -krap very often, it’s quite polite. I wish I paid attention to what Q used with X. I rewatched the scene of them at X’s condo earlier in this part and Q doesn’t seem to use I/you pronouns? and doesn’t use -krap endings either. Found what absoluteBL had to say about this (their Aug 2022 Wk 3 round-up post)
omg I want tutor Mind and Mook to be a lesbian couple so badly pretend I didn’t say that about sisters
Tumblr media
Episode 3 (Sep 12)
Part 1
hair washing, i do love that. even though it’s not really the same, Q taking care of X bc of his injured hand reminds me of Khao taking care of First all throughout Safe House S4 last week
just in the bath with their jeans
Linguistics/Pronouns: okay now they’re talking about Q using Q as the I pronoun. And instead of “nai” as you pronoun, X says Q can call him X (not P’X?)
loll the mom talking so earnestly to Q, trying to signal to him she’s okay with him liking guys/X but not saying it outright
Toy and Mook are kinda cute lol but still not feeling Frank and Mild, mostly because I wanted her to be gay so bad but also bc they haven’t been showing them in a super romantic light
Part 2
Uncle Man so good for giving advice to Q’s mom to have her accept him
ik Uncle Man’s prlly just doting on X to push Q and X together quicker but it’s still so awkward
lol I think Toy and Mook are so cute like he’s soooo into her and he’s not like Awkward and Weird around her that makes it uncomfortable but nervous in an endearing way
Uncle Man also giving advice to Q
Episode 4 (Sep 13)
Part 1
Adorable cheek kiss from a misunderstanding is adorable
lol the mom and uncle thinking their gaming commentary was them having sex
Q and his friends are a cute friendgroup
naurrr X was doing some “21 Days Theory” with Q? and Mook knew about it too? flashbacks to every YA novel/movie
:0 Q threw a punch at X, damn
X will be done day after tomorrow?! girl the punches just keep coming
lmfao okay at least Frank is like “Mild be my older sister :)” and not “I wanna date you” bc I wasn’t feeling them in a romantic way and neither was either of them
Part 2
Coming out to family and being greeted with accepted scenes are always so good
yknow what X being cute about Q is so cute, he likes Q so much even though he was so annoying in the beginning
3 mins left are we really about to get the most rushed airport meeting as the ending? Why is this not just a little longer sigh
bruh not even an airport meeting, just skipping to 2 months later rip
very very rushed ending, feels like this could be the start of a Missed Chances or Ex-Friends/Crushes BL since it left so much open. idk if they have the budget for a sequel but I think it could be fun
This was cute! Although it did take me a long ass time to watch 4 40-minute episodes but I think that’s just my problem and me entering some sort of slump rather than the show not being cute or engaging.
I think the actors were cute, wonder what Rookie Thailand has in store for them next.
I loved having Uncle Man as a queer adult who was there to offer up his experience and advice, as well as reassure Q’s mom. So good! Also liked the tight-knit friend group even though Q was kinda taking advantage of them lol
Rating: 6/10
Tiktok
the misunderstanding over Toy blowing on Q’s wet pants
Q jealous of uncle + X confessing
Ep 4 cheek kiss
Mom and Uncle misunderstanding zombie game

Part: [FINAL]
For @pcypuddings 😈😁💕
Tumblr media
“Bec!” A voice sounded out in the quiet study area in the library, which only made multiple people shhh the owner of the voice. “Oh, shush yourself.” Bec, instantly knowing the owner of the voice, only chuckled before she looked up from her notes and at the approaching girl in front of her.
“What can I do for you, Ash?” Bec smiled as she watched her sit down.
“So, there’s this party tonight at Khun’s…” She started off before being cut off by Bec raising her hand.
“I am gonna stop you there, I’m not going.”
“But why?” Ashleigh questioned as she looked at Bec, slightly confused as to why she down right rejected the idea before she even was able to finish what she was all going to say. Hearing the question only made Bec look at her with the look of “really?”. “Is it because of a certain guy who happens to be best friends with Khun?”
“What do you think, Ash?” Bec stated before looking back down at the book in front of her, continuing to write notes.
“Come on, Bec. You should go regardless of that moron. Loren will be there.”
“And you and I both know that she will not leave her man’s side.”
“Well, if she knows that you will be there, she’ll be by you to make sure Woo doesn’t bother you. She’s practically like the mom of our little group. If I can be away from Khun to make sure Woo doesn’t annoy you, then so can she with her beau.” Ash said as her gaze never left Bec, even though she wasn’t looking at her.
“Well, I can’t anyway because I have…”
“Don’t you dare say homework because I know you finished everything you needed to PLUS the assignments for next week. So, you cannot use that as an excuse. Nor the studying part either, because you’ve been studying all week, you need a break. Let loose and have some fun at the party.” Ash said as she tried to close the book that Bec was currently writing notes down for.
“If I say I will go, will you leave me alone to finish this?” Bec sighed before looking away from the book and up to her friend that was sitting across from her.
“Yes, I promise I will go bug Loren instead.” Ash smiled.
“Fine, I’ll go.”
“Thank you, thank you, thank you!” Ash quickly got up and hugged her tightly. “You will not regret this at all.” Bec only chuckled as she shook her head at Ash’s excitement.
“Now go find Loren and bug her like you promised.” Bec smiled at her.
“Yes ma’am!” Ash smiled back at her before practically running off and out of the library. Bec shaking her head at the sight before resuming her work.
********
Bec sighed as she walked up to this frat party that she somehow got roped into by Ash, a girlfriend of one of the members of said frat, Nichkhun. His frat was known to be a bunch of partiers but they were also some of the smartest guys in the school…shockingly because just by looking at them, or by how many parties they tended to have, you wouldn’t have thought so. Well, except Nichkhun, even though he still gave off the frat boy vibe, he still also gave off the vibe of being a good student. Out of the other five, you couldn’t tell unless you saw them at what they were good at. Due to Loren dating Minjun, pretty much the unofficial head of this frat, even though Taecyeon was the president of it, she got to see Minjun in action with his music production and he was pretty serious when it came to that. There were many days that Bec and Ash went to Minjun’s studio to pick up Loren and saw Minjun working diligently on whatever project or idea he had at the time. Loren always went there while he was working to get her own work done while still being able to spend time with him, she had invited them multiple times to do work there with her since it was chill enough to study in.
That said studio was where she had first met the infamous Woo. His full name being Jang Wooyoung, one of the biggest playboys on campus. He was one of those typical frat boys who could get any girl he wanted. Not like he was ever serious with any of said girls. She could maybe count two times that he had any sort of relationship with a girl that was what he considered serious, which pretty much meant that they were fuck buddies for longer than a month. He left a trail of broken hearts wherever he went. Bec would admit that he was handsome and sexy as hell, it was his cocky attitude thinking if he would smile that dazzling smile at whatever girl it was aimed at, that they would fall to his feet and be at his mercy. He kept trying that with her after a few times they had met due to the mutual friends dating each other, which was why he probably annoyed the hell out of her. He would give her crap about studying and turning her “beautiful self” into one of those typical history major nerds, which only ticked her off more. Ever since then, she tried to avoid him at all costs and whenever she had to be around him, she had made sure to stay far enough away. There were days when even Ash and Loren would stay with her to make sure he didn’t try anything to annoy her.
“Who are you trying to impress with that outfit?” Bec heard the voice of Ash call out over the loud music as soon as she had walked into the house. Bec looked over in the direction she thought she had heard her voice come from and saw said girl walking up to her.
“Who says that I can’t just look good on my own without anyone to impress?” Bec raised her brow up at her before Ash let out a chuckle.
“Touche, touche~.” Ash smiled before linking her arm with Bec’s and pulling her into the house more and towards the kitchen. As much as Bec would deny it, she has been in that house to know where everything was at this point. It was mainly because of her need to avoid Wooyoung at all costs, just so she wouldn’t start an argument with him over something stupid he had said to her about her or just something in general. So, for the sake of her friends, she didn’t want to start something with him and always just avoided him at all costs. Plus, it also meant that she would also avoid the sickening sight of him wooing girls left and right, which aggravated her to no avail. Why it did was something she never came to a conclusion about. As they arrived in the kitchen, Bec immediately began glancing around to see if there was any sight of Wooyoung, just so she could prepare herself for whatever annoying thing he may do or say…or even both.
“Don’t worry, he’s not in here.” Her gaze immediately whipped over to the direction of where the deeper voice came from and saw Junho, one of the six frat members, leaning against the middle island with a smirk on his face as he took a sip of his drink.
“Who says I am even looking for him?”
“Well now the fact that you didn’t even ask who I was talking about, proves that you are…well, were.” Junho chuckled a bit before looking over at Ash. “Where’s Khun?”
“You think I know all of his whereabouts?”
“Since you’re his girlfriend, yes.” He smiled, making his eyes almost disappear as he did. Both Bec and Ash saw Loren walking up behind him before smacking the back of his head.
“Go bother someone else, Junho. I’m quite sure there are many girls here willing to be bothered by you.”
“Oh, look who graced us with her presence, done giving some to Minjun?”
“At least he’s getting some, unlike you.” Loren smiled and ruffled his hair.
“I…get some…” Junho mumbled with a slight pout as he took a sip of his drink.
“Who’s getting some?” The voice that came from behind both Bec and Ash asked. That said voice instantly made Bec tense up, knowing exactly who it was without even looking at them.
“Not Junho.” Loren smiled before walking over to Bec and grabbing her arm to pull her away from where Woo was standing. The action only made Wooyoung raise his eyebrow up at her before he came to realize who it was that she had pulled towards her.
“Well look who’s here… the little history book worm. Finally decided to get your nose out of the books and into present day?” Wooyoung smirked as he went and stood over by Junho, leaning against the counter to look at Bec closer.
“Woo…” Junho spoke softly to him as a slight warning to watch what he says and does after that.
“Don’t you have some skank to flirt into a stupor so you can bed her easier?” Bec shot back with a smirk of her own, which only made Junho choke on his drink. “Cause it’s not like you can do it while she’s not dazed by your so-called ‘charms’.”
“If I wasn’t charming, then how did she get so dazed, hmm?”
“I…”
“Exactly. Point 1 for me. Zero for the history nerd who probably hasn’t gotten any sort of action that didn’t require a history book to read about.” Wooyoung smirked and walked out of the kitchen with Junho in tow. Both Loren and Ash looked at each other before looking at Bec, who was obviously fuming at what Wooyoung had just said.
“Bec…” Ash started off saying as she went to reach for her arm.
“Who the hell does he think he is?!” Bec scoffed as she grabbed two shots that were on the counter and downed them both before grabbing two more and doing the same. “Just because I study a lot, doesn’t mean I don’t get anything!”
“Bec don’t worry about him. He’s not worth your time thinking over.” Ash said before looking over at Loren who tried to subtly move the shots away before Bec would grab more.
“You know what, you’re right.” Bec nodded before quickly grabbing another shot, tossing it back like it was nothing. “Let’s go party.” Bec quickly walked out of the kitchen and into the large group of people who happened to be congregating in the living room. Both Ash and Loren tried to follow but I got caught in a traffic jam of people who decided that was the best time for them to come into the kitchen for more drinks.
After an hour or so, the girls finally found Bec in the crowd, thanks to the help of Chansung since he was dancing with her.
“Hey Bec! Let’s get you outside for some fresh air.” Loren said and grabbed her hand to begin to lead her out of the living room and back towards the kitchen.
“Do you know how much she’s had to drink?” Ash asked Chansung who only shook his head.
“I have no idea. She dragged me in to start dancing with her. Saying something about proving a point to Woo. I could tell she’s drunk but not super drunk yet.” Chansung said to Ash, who only sighed and walked away after mumbling a thank you to him. She finally caught up with the Loren and Bec as Loren was grabbing a bottle of water for Bec to drink.
“Woo is such an idiot. Yeah, he’s hot and all but…” Bec started off before Ash cut her off.
“I know, Bec.” Ash began to say as she led her out the back door onto the patio. Loren followed behind after making sure that no one followed them out there. The last thing Bec needed was someone hearing what she was all saying about Wooyoung.
“God, he’s so aggravating! Every time I see him, I just want to punch his dumb face! Then he can’t be able to easily charm anyone.” Bec said as she sat down on the outdoor couch that was out there, leaning back against the cushions with her arms crossed. “And then he can’t claim to get any girl he wants. Which is a total lie! Because he can’t get me! You know what…”
“What?” Both Loren and Ash asked slowly, looking at each other before looking back at her.
“I should get with someone tonight, just to prove that idiot wrong! Maybe Chansung! He’s single right?”
“Are you sure you want to do that just to spite him?” Loren asked. “How much did you drink while you were away from us?” Ash looked at her like she was crazy for even suggesting what she did.
“Chansung doesn’t even know how much she had before we found her because when she dragged him into dance with her, she was already, according to him, drunk.” Ash sighed and ran a hand through her hair.
“Lovely.” Loren sighed as well before trying to hand the bottle of water to Bec. “Please drink this.”
“I think I am gonna find one of the boys and get it on with one of them… just to rub it in Woo’s face that I got some, and with one of his friends too.” Bec said with a slight slur as she stood up, quickly heading back into the house before Ash and Loren could stop her.
********
Bec sighed and ran a hand through her hair before looking out of the window that was next to the table she usually sat at in the library. She had been there for most of the day already, just trying to keep her mind off of what Wooyoung had said a few days prior as well as the fact that she even had the idea of having sex with one of the other frat members just to spite him and prove him wrong. She was thankful both Loren and Ash had stopped her and made her sit outside with them to sober up enough to send her home to sleep the rest of it off.
“Why am I not that surprised that you are here? Books all over the table… truly living up to your bookworm title here, aren’t you?” Bec groaned at the voice who had said that before turning to look away from the view outside the window and to Wooyoung, who now decided to sit across from her.
“What the hell do you want, Wooyoung? I am so not in the mood to deal with you today… or ever.”
“Oh come on, you know you enjoy my presence.” Wooyoung smirked which only made her scoff as she began to start closing the books and other things in front of her.
“Oh, you are sowrong on that.” Bec shook her head and put all but one book in her backpack.
“Nah, I think you are the wrong one here.” Wooyoung shrugged as he leaned back in the chair and looked around the area they were currently in.
“And why do you think that?” Bec stopped what she was doing to look at him with a brow raised.
“Because I can tell that you want me, babe.” He half smiled, half smirked at her.
“Babe? Babe. Yeah, sure, okay.” Bec rolled her eyes and went to stand up, slipping her backpack on and beginning to walk away from him.
“Stop denying it. I can totally tell you think of me when you try to get yourself off since, like I said before, you can’t get action that isn’t from a history book!” Wooyoung called out which only made Bec stop in her tracks, turning to glare at him before tossing the book that she was currently carrying in her arms at his head. That said book hitting him hard in the head, causing him to yelp in pain. “What the fuck?!”
“You’re such an ass! God! How the hell does anyone put up with you?!” Bec turned on her heel and stormed off, leaving Wooyoung there holding his head in pain.
********
“So, she threw a book at you?” Chansung asked, trying to clarify what Wooyoung all just told him, while trying not to laugh at his friend’s pain.
“Yes, she did.” Wooyoung glared at Chansung, still holding the ice pack he got from the campus nurse against the area on his head the heavy book hit him when Bec had chucked it after what he had said to her.
“What did you say to her to make her throw a book at you?” Both him and Chansung jumped a little at the voice before they both looked over towards the kitchen. Their gaze stopping at the island in the kitchen where they both did not realize that Loren was sitting at, looking like she was doing some studying of her own.
“God, we really need to put a bell on you. You’re like a ninja...” Chansung said with a chuckle before Wooyoung interrupted.
“How long have you been sitting there?” Wooyoung asked. “Why aren’t you with Minjun?”
“Does that really matter right now?” Loren rolled her eyes as she looked over at Wooyoung, closing her laptop in the process. “Now, what did you say to Bec to make her chuck a book at you?”
“I don’t want to say.” Wooyoung mumbled, knowing what he said truly was something he shouldn’t have said to her…especially in public like that.
“See… that answer just makes me want to know more.”
“I’ll tell you!” Chansung smiled as he got up quickly, making sure he was out of reach from Wooyoung, knowing he’d try to stop him. He walked over to Loren and leaned down to whisper into her ear. As soon as she heard what Chansung told her, her eyes widened.
“Jang Wooyoung!” She threw the closest thing she had at him, which happened to be her own little book.
“What is with people throwing books at me?!”
“You deserved it! You’re lucky I don’t kill you.” Loren huffed before gathering her things and leaving, pushing her way past Minjun who had just walked in.
“Hi…babe?” He watched Loren leave before looking between the two guys in the kitchen. “What did you two do?”
“It was all him.” Chansung quickly said with his hands up in defense as he nodded his head towards Wooyoung.
“You’re the one that told her, so, you did something too!” Wooyoung countered.
“I wasn’t the one that said what pissed her off like that.” Chansung scoffed. The two continued to bicker back and forth, making Minjun roll his eyes and head towards the fridge to get something to drink.
“Do I want to know what they are arguing about now?” He heard the voice of Taecyeon ask, looking over at him walking into the kitchen, looking like he just got back from one of his classes, Nichkhun following in soon after.
“One or both of those yahoos said and or did something to piss off Loren to the point she stormed out of here.” Minjun sighed before tossing both him and Nichkhun a water bottle, which they both easily caught. As soon as he had walked into the kitchen himself, and hearing the commotion from both Wooyoung and Chansung, Junho rolled his eyes and grabbed two oranges from the bowl of fruit that was sitting on the island. He soon tossed one each at the two of them, successfully quieting them.
“Will you two knock it off, goddamn.”
“Will people stop throwing shit?!” Wooyoung threw the orange back at Junho who easily caught it.
********
A few days after that, the boys threw another party, but it was more just for them and a few select friends, meaning Ash and Loren who insisted on dragging Bec along for the hell of it. Well, to get Bec to go took a lot of bribing on Ash and Lorens part.
“I bet you couldn’t even make it a solid night around Wooyoung… like alone in a room, without hurting him again.” Junho said as he looked over at Bec with a brow raised, seeing if she would take up his bet. “The same goes for you, Woo. Bet you can’t be around her all night without saying something to piss her off and make her storm off.”
“Bet.” Wooyoung downed his drink before standing up and looking over at Bec with a smirk, that would make any girl go weak, but it only made Bec roll her eyes. He soon walked off towards his room upstairs.
“What do I get if I last all night? I’ll take you up on that bet, but I want to know the prize.” Bec said as she looked over at Junho.
“$200 sound fair?”
“Fair to me.” Bec smiled and stood up, placing her drink down on the coffee table in front of her since they were all congregated in the living room playing card games together.
“Bec, you don’t need to do this.” Ash said as she looked at her worriedly for happily taking up the bet that Junho put out.
“No, no, I can do it. I’ll be fine.”
“Even though you want to kill him?” Loren raised a brow up at Bec before chuckling softly as she just waved her hand at her to dismiss what she had just said.
“I’ll be fine. He… maybe fine after this.” Bec said as she walked off and towards Wooyoung’s room.
“I feel like we should warn Woo instead.” Chansung chuckled.
“Nah, he deserves whatever is coming to him.” Junho snickered before taking a sip of his drink.
“Is that why you set up the bet?” Minjun shook his head before looking over at Loren with a smile as she patted his thigh. Junho just smiled at him instead of responding back.
“You’re evil.” Ash chuckled a bit.
********
“I’m surprised you took up the bet from Junho.” Wooyoung said as he went to sit down on the chair he had in front of his desk.
“Because I know I can handle being around you without killing you, no matter how much you annoy me and how much I still want to hurt you for what you said.” Bec spoke as she crossed her arms over her chest.
“Okay I am sorry for saying that in public.”
“Only for saying that in public? Not for saying that in general?” Bec scoffed.
“Why would I be sorry for saying that in general? I can tell that you want me.”
“Excuse me? You couldn’t be any more wrong there. Why would I want some stupid frat boy?”
“Stupid frat boy?” Wooyoung stood up from the chair and walked over to Bec.
“Yes, stupid frat boy.” Bec repeated herself, not intimidated by Wooyoung who was standing close to her, his height making him slightly tower over her.
“I am morethan a stupid frat boy, but you refuse to see it.”
“To see what exactly? How so called ‘charming’ you are?” Bec raised a brow up as she continued to look up at him. If anyone else was in the room with them, they could have easily cut the tension between them with a knife. When she had seen him open and close his mouth before glaring at her slightly, she thought she had stumped him but the thing he did next surprised her most. His hands cupped her cheeks, and he crashed his lips against her. What she had done next surprised her most, but she ended up reciprocating the deep, heated kiss.
“Are you sure you don’t want me?” Wooyoung snickered against the kiss.
“Don’t push it.” Bec murmured back before Wooyoung slowly walked forwards to essentially push her up against the wall. His lips soon moved to leave a trail of kisses down her jawline towards her neck before reaching down to pull her shirt off her, quickly tossing it back behind him. His lips soon attached themselves to her neck. A few soft moans left her mouth as he began to nip and suck on her neck. She knew that she would have a few marks there, but she didn’t mind. After some time, Wooyoung moved away from her neck as well as her, which only made Bec let out a soft whine at the loss of contact from him.
“Let’s move this over to the bed, where I can properly worship you like you are one of the famous queens you more than likely read about in your books.” He smirked before he quickly took off his shirt before tossing it behind him, not caring where it landed. Before Bec could say anything back, because she also was a bit mesmerized at the sight of his toned body, he lifted her up into his arms and walked over to his bed, placing her down on it. He got on top of her, smirking as he looked down at her, grinding his hips against hers to see her reaction. At that action, she had let out a soft moan, which only satisfied him that he was able to get her to moan again. “You sure you want this?”
Bec only nodded as her gaze met his. “Nuh uh, baby, use your words.”
“Yes, I want this.” Bec stuttered out, feeling a little turned on by his slight dominance over her already.
“Let’s have some fun then.” He smirked before crashing his lips against hers once again, beginning what would be a very long night for them both.

The 116th Floor is, in a way, a checkpoint. No test to pass, no obstacle to overcome and no threat to exterminate. It’s a place where Regulars usually rest and often decide to remain for the rest of their days. It’s known to be a peaceful grey area and no one, under no circumstances, is allowed to spill any blood. Because of that rule, many Rankers and Princesses find themselves having a residence or two there in case problems arise.
Khun Maschenny Zahad is not an exception to that.
