How Cooked You Are Based On The Person or People You Just Pissed Off: Anger Headcanons

(This analysis takes both the canon and my AU into account, but mostly my AU. And by “cooked,” I mean they will KILL OR SEVERELY INJURE YOU.)

Ruby: It’s normal, you’re still c o o k e d if she locks in tho

Gene: Even when angry he’ll remain mostly calm and still pack you up, but you’re MEGA COOKED if you manage to exhaust all his patience reserves

Twinkle: YOU’RE GIGA COOKED, “angry” usually isn’t a word in her vocabulary, but if you manage to tap into her pent-up rage she will disintegrate you

Alex: GOODNIGHT TO YOUR WHOLE BLOODLINE 💀💀🪦 Alex may not be as cold and calm as Gene or as perpetually cheery as Twinkle, and it’s a lot easier to tell when he’s upset, but him being genuinely crashout level angry is even less common than Gene and Twinkle being crashout level angry. Crash out and lock in 🗿

Black Baron: Not that cooked unless you can’t fight that well or run that fast, and either way, it’s not like he’d sleep you where you stand like the Super 4 would….

Forchesacc (or however tf it’s spelled): Cooked unless you can outsmart him or dodge his magic blast attacks

Baba Cara: She’s kinda like Forchesacc, but ngl if you’re not Gene, Alex, Ruby, or Twinkle you might be cooked. And I mean deep fried frog legs cooked

The Fairies: Barely cooked, more like soft-boiled, especially if it’s the Farty Queen. If you either 1) have the ability to run hide and dodge or 2) don’t mind being turned into a frog ngl you straight. You going home alive at least

Dr. X: Straight up raw, not cooked at all. Only way you’d be cooked is if one of his machines malfunctions again (which they will), but you could sleep the man himself

Rock Brock: Ngl why would he fight you- not cooked at all

Sir Garroth: Again, not that cooked unless you can’t fight, this mf got pimp slapped by a skinny black man who was shorter than him, I’m sure you could do it too

Sir Archibald: Not cooked unless he calls his comrades

Sir Ulf: Super cooked, that Behemoth will crush you like a soda can

The Colossus: Kinda like Ulf, but slower and dumber, and besides Alex beat that thing at 1/100th his usual size, so ngl you safe if you’re fast and/or short

The Trolls: I’m actually convinced the Colossus is secretly just an armored troll, plus they always get bullied by the witches so they’d be just as easy, 100% survival rate with minimal to no injury

The Pirates: Not cooked unless you have something shiny they’d want, are on their turf, and you can’t swordfight or swim

Rubens: Cooked, grease fried, seasoned, plated, and served at his tavern

Black Castle Guards: Midly boiled, if you can dodge, fight or run even the tiniest bit well the flunkies should be light work no reaction… the real problem is Rhypan, he’d defo be more of a challenge but he’s at least survivable with minimal to moderate injury

The Sykronians: G O O F Y not cooked at all, they got that stormtrooper aim so their attack lasers are easily dodgeable, and their capture beams are surprisingly humane

The Knights

Sir Ulf: 70 years old (he gets around real well for someone his age), big asf even at a young age, protected his mother from his drumkard father, did loads of work around his village and was useful bc he was big as sheet, lost his wife to an infection during birth and 27 years later lost his daughter and her fiancé to a raid, killed all the raiders out of pure blind rage with his bare hands, was blamed for the deaths of his entire village and imprisoned for years, was proven innocent when a new judge replaced the old one and released, wandered around for 8 long months, surviving in the wild until he reached Kingsland, was welcomed warmly for the first time in years and met friends who didn’t gaf about his past as a “murderer”, decided to become a knight and succeeded, has spent over 10 years in Kingsland and 21 long years in jail, occasionally still has panic attacks and nightmares about the attack but has support from his troop

Sir Archibald: 36 years old, born with an anxiety disorder and left undiagnosed, was discounted as just a “coward” and a “wimp” by his family, terrorized constantly by his older siblings and cousins for sheets and giggles, making his anxiety worse… struggled with his studies because of his anxiety, was told that he could never achieve his dreams or even do anything of worth because he was a coward (mainly by his own dang MOM), was only encouraged and treated well by his cousin Francesca, whom he called “Frannie,” she was kind to him and defended him and his dreams when nobody else did, mustered up the courage to pack his things and run away (thanks to her), soon made it to Kingsland and applied to be a knight, trained hard in spite of his anxiety and slight cowardice and succeeded in being knighted, eventually found out about his anxiety disorder from Gene and was given a stress ball by him, now has an understanding troop and family that he can lean onto for help

Sir Garroth: 52 years old, was doted on more by his father, disliked watching his father mistreat and abuse his elder twin brother (he’s younger by like a couple seconds), grew up stifled by his father’s strict tendencies and was very close to his twin brother, trained to wield the sword from a young age, eventually grew apart from his twin brother because of his violent tendencies, trained even harder after his father died and his twin brother ran away, eventually left home to grow more and ended up in Kingsland, succeeded in becoming a knight, ended up becoming Alexander’s tutor after the prince started being homeschooled, is very content with his current life, but still wishes to find his twin brother….

Black Castle Knaves

Sir Rhypan (this is how I spell it don’t come at me): 52 years old, real birth given name is Rhys, cursed by a witch before he was even born, causing him to be born with red eyes and randomly become violent and malicious (basically like magical bipolar disorder but worse), hated by his father and his village because of his curse (even though it was his father’s fault for pissing off that witch), was abused by his father constantly and even forced to sleep in the cellar (he even did wall scratches for how many days he was stuck in there llll ll), got his mostly blind eye thanks to his father, only had his younger twin brother on his side, trained to fight in secret from a young age and often sparred with his twin brother for fun, was forced to hurt his twin brother multiple times because of his curse, causing them to drift apart and drawing his father’s ire… grew up in pain and misery, and the curse only got stronger as he grew, with the violent personality switches (and his father’s own raging episodes) becoming more and more frequent… ended up murdering his father during a curse episode and ran away, met the Black Baron and decided to join him, almost killed Gene (multiple times) and even his own comrades during a few different curse episodes and regrets it deeply, got multiple scars from Twinkle getting her getback on Gene’s behalf, wholeheartedly wishes to discover a cure for his curse, and to find and apologize to his twin brother….

Black Castle Guards: Most of them are orphans, runaways, or wanderers, one of the redheaded ones makes amazing tea and everyone loves him (he’s the Black Baron’s second favorite soldier besides Rhypan)

Hey. I have a theory about Gene if you wanna hear it.

The theory is mainly about Gene's parents and why don't we ever see them. Like, we got Alex's dad and we can guess what happened to his mom, we may have not gotten to see Ruby's real parents, but we got to see her adopted father and we even got to see her technically as an infant, and Twinkle, we can practically guess where she came from (A flower).

But with Gene... We never really got much about his childhood nor anything about his parents really.

So, why is that?

Here's my theory, the reason we never really got to see his parents is because he never had parents. The only parent he's ever known was Dr. X because I think he's Gene's bio bad, but that's just me. And the reason we never got to see his mom is because of Computer Supreme, either making her leave Technopolis or worse.

What do you think and what are your opinions on this?

Interesting theory. Even though I disagree with some points, it could not be completely far away from what I think. I'll explain (and structure it like a normal post of my to avoid writing a block of text absurdly big).

Parents (Super 4: Canon)

In general is obvious for the narrative why we don't see parents, they would stop the action. This happens in a big amount of children TV shows, where the main's caregivers are not their parents, but someone older and mentoring or more irresponsible, the mains are treated as adults and they live on their own or are far away home due to any reason, or the plot of the episodes is that innocent that the figure of the parent doesn't need to worry and appear and stop the action.

But if we really get deep into their family theories, Technopolis is the most interesting regarding the inner canon of the show.

I saw a theory from @wassuppeeps about Technopolis's economy and them being communist. I won't talk about the money part, but I could believe them being a communism in the sharing and raising all together everyone babies, or to be precise, parents giving away their children as soon as they are born so a special place takes care of them all together, since it seems that the dictatorship of Computer Supreme was quite communist-like (although we don't have enough information from the show and it is a computer, not a human). Maybe that's ended by the present of the show, but Gene could have been raised that way, never making a bond with a figure such as "parent". But about Doctor X, I think he only sees him as a blad white haired weird narcissist man. Gene seemed to be quite egocentric about his superiority intelligence since he was young, as he seems quite proud being the first of his class, not alluding to a single year (Some Like it Magical).

The faires I wouldn't consider their way of being born that obvious. Of course, the logic for the writers if they wanna make them stick with modern fairytales (ahem, Tinkerbell) is to make them born in a cute extra natural way. I can't defend "the real fairies weren't that way", because nor the real medieval era either the eighteenth century pirates were the way they are represented, but in a modern fantasy way.

What I want to say is, don't read about the birth of fairies of our real world, things can get weird when you find out that not only old fairies were evil and kidnapped babies, but some people thought they were demons (fallen angels) sent by the demon. I personally find possible for the show a story (not contrasted from our real world) in which a human midwife helped a fairy give birth (the normal human way), but the fairy and her cave were enchanted, so the midwife didn't found the trick. I can see fairies from the Enchanted Island sneaking to Kingsland if the reproduce the human way.

About Ruby, I would bet the wing I don't have, and to stay in her main problem, that her parents are people from other place of Gunpowder Island (I think pirates hasn't unlocked yet the "reproduce without women" so females should be around somewhere) and they decided to take Ruby away for being born a girl. They just didn't want to raise a "girly-girl" to clean the house and cook, but a boy to be a pirate, sail, find treasures and get rich (prove them wrong, Ruby!). Believe me, I am not exaggerating, something like that could be a very plausible reason to get rid of a newborn, just see the pirates in Ruby's origins, none of them wanted a girl, or, I am not gonna be specific (investigate thought internet if you are really curious, it shouldn't be difficult to find), the real world, which have done that nationwide until the lack of girls became a problem. Rubens is not her "adoptive father" while her biological are not there, Rubens is her father! The one who was there for her. I don't expect Ruby to smitten anytime soon with the idea of find her biological family, she has her dad, and he is all she needs and wants.

Alex is the easiest to guess, but knowing the humor of the show, I could really expect for Kendric to say "Oh, yes, we are divorced" and Leonora and Alex genuinely thinking their mother was death. In a narrative way, I don't think Alex's mother was death, because she was never meant to exist. Perhaps in Kingsland they reproduce by mitosis (I'm kidding, I'm kidding).

Actually, isn't Kendric a bit too old to have only two children of ages between 16 and 25? Have he waited until he was in his forty-something of fifties to have children? Because wait until that age to have children is extremely new. And yes, their life expectancy would be lower because they are from middle age, but their biological life is the same as ours, and to say that Kendric has aged faster wouldn't be completely correct, because he is still fit enough to have sword duels, he is just... old.

So! I bet the other wing I don't have either, his mother is not just death. It would be a killjoy for a show as weird as Super 4! And Alien seems the only one with a family we can guess easily.

Hello! I'm never really got into skam france but now that wondervision is over, I'm might just watch. See, i always thought the acting was great for many of the actors, I just couldnt get into their dramatic style of storytelling (which is not a criticism, just a personal preference. (I know ppl say it's the French style, but I would say it was a choice. There are many examples of French teen centric shows/movies where they display a more raw and gritty style) with that, would u rec s7 to me?

So! I'll give you some background of my opinions about skam france and this season and then I hope it'll make it a little bit easier for you to decide.

If you've been here for long enough you'll know: I didn't really like season 6.

If I could find one thing that I liked was the Lamifex (especially Max) and Lola's relationship with Daphné. Other than that, I thought the season was extremely badly written, I could never get 100% on board with Lola's attitudes or with her relationship with Maya. The relationship was so rushed and EVEN THOUGH both actresses are amazing at their jobs, I could barely believe they were in love (they do have an out of this world chemistry in their cuddle clip).

If we took away the love triangle, I would have loved season 5. I only got so frustrated and mad with the love triangle that it ruined the season and Arthur for me.

The same goes for season 4. I loved most of it if wasn't for Charles' return, Imane apologizing when the girls where in the wrong!!! I didn't mind the Manon x Sofiane because I never felt like it was something serious or made to hurt Imane.

I loved season 3, even though after season 6, the disservice was so big I lost a little bit of my interest for elu (mostly for Eliott and it was just a little bit, still love them! Just a little less).

Now! For season 7! (I don't really have much to say about the first two seasons)

I'm assuming you know it's about Tiff. She's still Lola's bully so yeah...not a good pick for main but it's her. Like I said, I'm not a huge Lola fan and so I didn't follow every clip or social media interaction.

The writers are clearly writing these characters we already know in a different way than what they were written as in the previous season. Especially the main ones: Lola, Maya and Tiff. They are still the same at core but I feel like the writers are forcing us to understand they see this characters differently than the previous team. So their relationships are not...an example, I would say. If you care enough about Lola and Maya, you'll probably be pissed about how Tiff is written (or how she's a main for that matter). Fun fact is: I'm liking Maya a lot more this season, she fells more like a real character that has depth. Even Lola I like more this season but again, the relationships involving the dinamics with these three girls is not perfect.

With that being said: do I like this season? Yes. Do I think is less dramatic? Yes. The skam france style is still there? Yes and I can't explain why but it feels like it's directed by a woman hahaha so it's the same but better, visually speaking. I would say a tiny bit inovative and cheesy at times but I like it, after getting so angry with skam france, I'm on board with the level of cheesy-ness because it's cute.

To me this season feels soo much more real when it comes to pacing, to how situations are dealt with, with the amount of drama x good moments. It's not a roller coaster where the good moments are too high and the sad ones too low and there are "normal" days, with mundane stuff happening.

It's not a perfect season, not at all but I'm enjoying watching it like I wasn't able to for the past 3 season.

Best of Marvel: Week of August 21st, 2019

Best of this Week: Tony Stark: Iron Man #15 (Legacy #615) - Dan Slott, Jim Zub, Juanan Ramirez, Francesco Manna, Edgar Delgado and Joe Caramagna

Tony Stark may not be the man he says he is anymore.

Since the landmark 600th issue of Iron Man, Tony Stark hasn’t been entirely sure that he is actually himself and not just a strange collection of nanobots and machines strung together in the form of the billionaire tech wizard. After the horrible incident surrounding eScape, Tony Stark’s virtual reality world, leads to the deaths of a few people and millions or more in property damage, Tony has to take the stand and address what exactly happened. 

He’s grilled pretty thoroughly on what an AI is and how much was his responsibility vs. how much can be blamed on Controller, the supervillain who hacked into the supposedly secure network and caused all of this damage. Overseeing the hearing is a surprising character from another mechanical superheroes past. Senator Miles Brickman, a character that originally appeared as something of an anti-machine/anti-AI character in the pages of Machine Man’s original series, it livid and irate at Tony Stark. Showing a bit of prejudice in his questioning, he asks has Tony Stark ever made any changes to his body using technology, then follows by asking “Can you prove that you’re not some form of artificial intelligence?”

Tony initially tries to dance around the question, but upon being reminded that he’s under oath, reveals that it is actually quite possible as his body was put back together cell by cell while he was in his coma. This shocks everyone, from Rhodey to Bethany Cabe, his head of security at Stark Unlimited, and even his brother Arno Stark who is watching the hearing from his office at Baintronics, the rival technology company.

AI Tony calls for a recess after a few snarky lines as we cut to Vision and Wonder Man arriving at Avengers mansion, thinking they’ve been called to assist in Tony’s hearing. Immediately some red flags might want to be set off with the characters involved, especially when Jarvis lets them in and soon after betrays them with a large piece of metal embedded in the back of his head with a familiar design. 

Things start to heat up as Brickman produces the Tony Stark AI that was used by Riri Williams while Tony was in a coma and asks does this fully functioning, autonomous copy have legal rights and responsibilities. What makes me so uncomfortable about this scene is that it plays on the fear of the unknown.

Brickman has tried to have Machine Man destroyed in the past and even knowing that Tony Stark has saved the world in the past, he’s not willing to consider that he still has right once it’s admitted that he may not be fully human anymore. In a way it mirrors some of our own discussions as it pertains to AI and whether or not we’ll allow them autonomy once they become advanced enough for it. There’s a whole discussion for sex robots that no one is qute ready for just yet.

The Wasp, Janet van Dyne, flies through a robot protest on her way to meet Tony for lunch and catches him talking to Tony AI. Tony AI agrees to be loaded into the Iron Man suit and they all fly off when suddenly they’re met with a gross amalgamation of Vision and Wonder Man fused together. Ramirez’s art makes him look so horrifying with only half of Wonder Man’s luxurious hair and cracking skin that’s as red as Vision’s. He rushes at Tony in a rage and promises to rip the human and AI halves of him apart, displaying an anger that neither character has ever presented. 

In the middle of their fight, Jarvis appears and zaps Janet, who was knocked out of the fight during the initial rush. He places her in his pocket and leaves thereafter. Tony and WonderVision continue their fight, destroying the robot protestors in the process. Tony realizes that they only way to stop them is to use a localized EMP which will also kill Tony AI. The technological Tony isn’t fazed and just tells Tony to kiss Jan a bunch and feel vaguely bad about it later.

Unfortunately, this leaves Tony in the middle of the carnage. He’s surrounded by broken robots, likely to take the blame for all of it and realizes that Jocasta was right, he only sees everything as data. He breathes a small sigh that he’s still alive and that WonderVision didn’t take Janet… until he can’t find her. We then cut to the surprising return of The Avengers greatest enemy as his new gambit to destroy Tony Stark and spark a new machine age is in full effect.

What I liked most about this issue is that Tony’s mistakes really catch up to him in a bad way. He’s always managed to skate by the skin of his teeth when his machines have gone haywire. While Brickman was being an asshole for the trial, he made a good point in that we don’t quite know if we can trust this Tony. Given what we as the audience know thus far, he’s falling hard. Almost going back to the drink, questioning his own existence, not even having the trust of the brother that’s been by his side since his appearance in the mid 2000s (in this universe).

And that ending, finally seeing the seeds of what’s been sewn for months now starting to take form, is always fun. I had wondered what happened to this character since Infinity Wars (2018) and I can’t wait to see where exactly this story is going to go and what the repercussions of that event will be. I also can’t wait to see how exactly he’ll scar Tony and his extended family now that he’s returned. High recommend!

Things were looking up for Otto Octavius. He had found a nice woman and was slowly falling in love, he had mended fences with Anna-Maria in a way. After the events of War of the Realms, he was a respected and loved hero in San Francisco and then it all came crashing down.

Runner Up: The Superior Spider-Man #10 (Legacy #43) - Christos Gage, Mike Hawthorne, Wade von Grawbadger, Jordie Bellaire and Clayton Cowles

After taking the lovely Emma on a swing through the city, The Spider-Man of San Francisco goes on to visit the child he saved all the way back in issue #4 and help his new adoptive parents get custody of him. These small moments of warmness are a far cry from the maniacal nature that we were once accustomed to from Octavius. Bellaire colors most these scenes in a nice, warm orange. Giving us this feeling of joy and some happiness for Otto… at least until he’s discussing having a child with Emma and she alerts him to the news report that asks if the SF Spider-Man is really Otto Octavius. 

Things start to spiral even further as Spider-Man is interviewed and dances around the question and the Brothers Grimm acknowledge that he hired them for some temp work if they went straight, alluding to the first arc of the book. Otto is furious, Anna-Maria gives him snark and Emma tells him that he needs to face things head on, getting in front of it all. He can prove that he’s changed. Unfortunately, Anna-Maria brings up the kid as an example of someone who he’s helped and he swings to the apartment to find the foster parents angry and the child sad that he lied. Normally Otto wouldn't think twice about lying to someone or omitting information, but looking into that child's eyes as he began to cry, Otto reveals that he lied because he wanted the kid to like him and they hug. 

Soon after, Otto is called back to Horizon University where he is known as Professor Tolliver. Max Modell is waiting for him as he's received an email telling him that Tolliver is actually Otto Octavius. Surprisingly to Otto, Max already knew. Max Modell may act like a goof, but he's not considered one of the brightest minds in Marvel for no reason. He ran a DNA test to confirm soon after his emergence and gave "Tolliver" a chance to prove himself a changed man and given that he has, he's been trying to help clear his name. 

With Max's security footage and his own enhanced suit, Otto is able to determine that it was actually Spiders-Man that sent all of the incriminating data to everyone. Once Spiders-Man realizes he's caught, the thousands of spiders that make up his form reconstitute until Ock defeats him and compresses the former Peter Parker's consciousness into one Spider-Body. After some pushing, Spiders-Man reveals that it was Norman Osborn's idea. This Norman Osborn, however, is from another dimension where he's the Spider Totem and his main enemy was a Green Goblin Peter Parker, if I remember right. 

Spiders-Man also tells Otto that Norman is in his own dimension, safe from harm. During the events of Spider-Geddon, the Web of Fate was destroyed, making dimensional travel much harder for Spider people. Octavius hits a wall until Anna-Maria comes out that she's saved a bit of Terrax's energy from the first arc in the Living Brain robot, in case Otto ever reverted. This makes him sink even lower, but ultimately he understands and tries to use the power to make a portal...only Norman planned for this and over loads the machine, causing it to destroy the building almost killing everyone inside if not for Otto. 

Otto manages to save Max and Anna-Maria, but is swiftly defeated and left for dead by Norman who was there the entire time. When Otto asks why Norman is doing this, he responds in the most Norman Osborn way possible by saying, "You insulted me."

Just when Otto Octavius was finding his place in the world as a hero, forces mostly belong his control have made their move in an effort to derail him. Otto finally seems happy, even helping out a young child that he absolutely has no obligation to and starting a budding new relationship with an older woman that's just as smart as he.
