Fantasy has always been on of my favorite genres -- the expansive, unlimited possibilities, a wealth of real world seeds to inspire magic, the infinite colors of scale, scope, and scene. Literally, playground for dreamy, wandering imaginations.

Even so, I had to learn to freely embrace what I really 'saw' when I was read stories, what my own mind envisioned, self-immersing in the wonderscape that books really just serve to inspire. The hesitancy came from the countless messages and corrections, questions, and criticisms I heard received about where, how, and why my imagination was should unleash because I didn't look much like the usual protagonists.

The irony being obvious -- that schema is pure point opposite the genre.

The world of romantafantasy is so gloriously vast now. No limits on references, representations, and gods blessed published and fanfic writers. Somewhere along the quest I landed in that garden soft bed of luxury, and it was a whole wrap. All the inspirations living rent free in my mind while reading anything that wasn't 'coded' for audiences who were not European, thin, hetero -- well, they're quite beautiful in flight. My Prythian imagination is a sprawling symphony of cultures, colors, and kinds.

We make the space for our natures, and relish in their worlds, freely. Dreamers don't take permission, because Feyre Darling, you bow to nothing and no one but your crown.

AAAA I WAS SO TIRED LAST NIGHT I FORGOR TO MAKE A POST LMAO

but here's what happened yesterday!!!!!! uhh i went to philly with a buddy to go to this funky place called wonderscapes!!!!!

it's like an art place but with such weirdcore exhibits like. there was a god damn piano but with people's voices as the notes huhhhhh

but my favorite one i saw was a wall filled with little rolled up papers colored red on one side and people wrote on them. some of the messages were either encouraging, heartfelt messages or people's last words. like. let that sink in. that's fucking crazy to think about.

but anyway i wrote in one so!!!!!!!! that's my rant for today :P

você e uma lembrança

Agora são cerca de 2 horas da manhã e volto a escrever, mesmo você, com seu jeito carinhoso de ser ( contém ironia ) me falando docilmente ( ironia de novo ) para não fazer isso de novo. Mas sabe o que é? Aqui é meu refúgio e eu sinto saudade sua e de escrever aqui. E quem sabe eu escreva um livro com todas essas histórias? Você sabe que sou ruim de memória e preciso gravar as coisas. Ok, continuando..

Agora são cerca de 2 horas da manhã e eu decidi antes de dormir abrir meu Spotify e abrir minha playlist de música clássica. Então começou a tocar Underwater Wonderscapes, Swarm of Fish e por assim vai. E eu, perdida nos tons agudos e graves começava a me lembrar de você. Lembrava de você tocando seu teclado e por ventura lembrei de mim quando era criança passando meus dedinhos no teclado na casa de uma antiga familia de vizinhos, eu deveria ter uns 10 anos. Lembrei também que eu sempre gostei disso, de violino, de teclado, de música. Por isso eu sempre acho que o melhor presente que alguém pode me dar é um fone de ouvido. E, veio também a lembrança que eu fui tentar aprender na escola de música mas fracassei drasticamente. Fracassei porque eu acho que me dou melhor em admirar a música do que tentar tocar ou aprender, deve ser por isso que eu amo ver e admirar você tocar sua guitarra e seu teclado e não entendo nada quando você tenta me explicar. E assim como um instrumento eu preciso aprender a te observar e te admirar sem me envolver, sem tocar em você. Porque quando eu toco em você eu não sei o que fazer, fico confusa, tenho medo de tentar e dar certo também. Vai que eu aprendo a tocar a melodia e dar certo?

Droga, já são 3 da manhã.
