49. Muses both broke the law and meet as they are forced to do community service

He tiredly picked up a piece of garbage, putting it into a large garbage bag. Great, only sixty seven more hours of this torture to go. As he stepped back, the boy noticed he was stepping on someone. "Sor—Huh? Calera?" The boy said as he turned around. The only thing he could wonder was how she got herself into the same mess he did.

   "Timothy?" Calera had known that the bright shock of hair looked familiar, but she thought he wouldn't be actually doing this sort of labor! She was preforming community service for trying to break into her own house, while she was far too intoxicated to argue back when the authorities arrived. Long story short; she drank, got a dui (drove herself home), and then tried to break herself in when she couldn't find the keys to the house. What the hell sort of trouble did Timothy do in order to get stuck with this stuff too?

   "What in the world are you doing here?"

         "No." Stopping the other before he could even begin to speak, Page only glanced up briefly from his book. He had seen and knew that look. Someone wanting something. Page definitely didn't want to get dragged in it. He would finish this book before the night ended.

My Muse just tripped and badly scuffed their knee. How does your Muse react?

  Why did it seem to be such a good idea to jump down a whole flight of stairs? Now he was stuck with what seemed to be a huge gash in his knee. The boy held his leg close to him, tears running down his face. There was little pain, but just the look of it hurt him a little.

  "I-It seemed like a good idea at the time…"

  "Perhaps now you'll learn something about the limits of your body, Master Timothy." Calera chided as she walked up to the kid. Kneeling down, she took the hem of her finder's cloak and gently began to wipe away the blood, showing how the injury wasn't as bad as he probably thought it to be.

  "An action on instinct isn't very helpful when the instinct is misled. You probably tried to copy a large jump you had seen Master Lavi do earlier using his hammer, didn't you?" She questioned.

We have a bunch of short threads which usually burn me out (I live for the long stuff)but surprising I don’t feel like the short threads are draining me. A sign of a good roleplayer since they can stuff a ton of info into a paragraph or less
