Since the Warriors of Light arrived at the First, the Exarch’s morning walks were filled with music.

Sometimes it would be the lute, other times would be the harp but each time, he knew the music was coming Kien; the songs he played were old Allagan lullabies and the Exarch couldn’t help feel drawn to it, his body automatically taking him toward the tower.

When he reached the top, he would pause, his breath catching in his throat, his words lost at the sight of how peaceful Kien looked when he played. His eyes were closed as if he was soaking in every note and his lips moving ever so slightly as he sang along to the tune.

Perhaps one day, the Exarch would have the courage to tell him how beautifully he played.
