Some coaster designs, back from 2021! It was fun designing these... they're still a staple in my store, and I'm hoping to perhaps make a second set based on Endwalker locales, in the future.

Fandom: Final Fantasy XIV (Shadowbringers spoilers) Relationships: G'raha Tia | Crystal Exarch & Minfilia Warde Rating: T+ Wordcount: 10,675 (complete)
"Even with her gift, she cannot hold them all. So I will do what must be done." He is a relic of a darker age. If he stays he shall be consumed by the tower… and he made it that way. The only decision left to him is when, and for once he would like to play the hero… or the villain, so the Warrior of Light will not save him. Minfilia shakes her head, ever so slight. "Exarch." He smiles. "I must." - Anointed by fate, guided to a dying shard that isn't theirs to save, to endure for the one who one day will. To change a past and safeguard a future. Many hands that put them there, but it will always be their choice to make. In the Crystarium, the Exarch receives a periodic, generational visitor.
Preview:
The early years are particularly perilous.
He is more limber then: his body not yet bound to the tower, and although he has taken to spellcraft, not a paladin yet. The young Crystarium newly risen on its plateau above the lilac woods of Lakeland as fragile as its namesake, a final observance rather than a nation, in need of every advantage he can give if they are to survive.
He arrives at the southern gate to find the sin eater recently perished. Already its overabundance of aether dissipates and a mauve hood covers the slayer's face and carefully shadows eyes, the barest hint of hair escaping past an expressionless mouth and they seem resolute, if not kind.
"I wish to speak with the Crystarium's leader," the stranger – they sound feminine, but he will not presume – says, and he catches the quiver of a gentle smile along with it. "Do you think this will serve that I mean no harm to his people?"
It's not why they did it. A convenient parlay, nothing more. The lowered shield bears the emblem of Eulmore – one less secret in the web of possibilities as to who they are for him to untangle, and the Exarch realises his own precautionary stoicism, that perhaps it is off-putting.
He clears his throat. If they do not know him by sight, a guard he shall be. "The Crystarium is open to all," he says, gesturing. "Although I would ask any traveller whence they hail."
He expects an island and gilded halls and a high tower. Perhaps allusions to further overtures and partnerships to ensure their two states flourish.
Instead the stranger speaks of other places. Of painted hills, and flowers. Of commerce, and hope, and loss. So much loss. Of places he knows as they should be.
He pictures it: as it used to be, when he closes his eyes.
"Home," he manages, the weight of its departure lodged in his throat, sounding more like the man he once was than what he has become. And recognition. "Minfilia."
She lowers her hood to empty blue eyes, forever marked by Her passing.
"Hello, G'raha."
She has wanted to meet with him for such a very long time.

The Crystal Exarch was sure he had it right that time. All of the markers, the aetheric energies, screamed the Warrior of Light's name in capital letters. And yet the figure that walked towards him under the blue boughs of Lakeland was one he'd never seen before. Wearing a very natty Doman suit, of all things. "Yeah, I got some limited training as a samurai in Ul'dah when I was a kid. I took to the fashion more than the fighting style. This is my jacket...but I don't understand...I was wearing my Wailers uniform when I...oh..." Thom was immediately sick. Even after 125 years of experience, it was obvious that G'raha was out of his depth. Time for reinforcements.
_____ Feo Ul clucked and sighed. "Oh, now this will never do. 'Tis but a rag!" Indeed, the uniform was so badly singed, it couldn't have been bigger than a tea towel. G'raha suddenly felt his stomach flip at the implications. There's no way that Thom actually survived the Battle of Carteneau. Is it possible that he summoned a soul from The Lifeforce itself? G'raha cleared his throat. "Feo Ul, I know pixies have skills beyond compare. Could you try..." "But of course. I like this one you've brought for me! He'll have his precious cloth. If I can't do it, I'll have Jasfort look at it." With several loops around him and a wink that Thom wasn't sure he appreciated, Feo Ul disappeared with the remnants of his uniform. ----- "So...I have to find a little Elezen girl...in a vast desert...that I don't know from Althyk's off ox." The Crystal Exarch had given him a rough description of the plight currently roiling the reflections of the star. None of it did anything to lift the fog of pain, confusion and aether-soaking that his brain had endured in the last two weeks. That's right, it's only been two weeks since Cartenau. Two weeks since he last saw Pryne alive. And now he was tasked with assembling a team of her apparent close friends, few of whom she actually knew when he saw her last.
He had seen glints of the light corruption at the top of his vision, but his eyes weren't all that reliable, despite The Exarch's generous gift of new glasses. Now, as he crested the sand embankment and tumbled towards The Derrick... A full wave of light corruption filled his vision, threatening to swallow him whole. Thom felt fear well up and overtake his muscles, which began to twitch involuntarily. Despite the frigid temperatures, he took refuge in The Derrick's overhang, as if sheltering from an unforgiving sun. It took a good three minutes for him to regulate his breathing; observing the minutiae of the well's mechanisms to center his focus, trying to pull on that "useless" samurai training. This is what The Exarch was trying to abduct his living, breathing wife to combat? How could she possibly? How could anyone? "Oh, my darling. This is so much bigger than any of us."

Summer and Lyna :D
Tumblr media
Someone come take this pesky fae mystel out of her hair.
Tumblr media
While Lyna would rather not have to deal with Summer--notorious in the Crystarium for carrying out numerous pixie-inspired pranks--the little romance novelist finds Lyna to be absolutely delightful!
She's already written Lyna into a romance novel, but for some reason, Lyna doesn't want it published!

"The light of your legacy was our torch in the darkness. Burn bright again... and live" ~ Crystal Exarch
Shadowbringers is my favorite expansion so far. Emotionally, it was like I was in Heavensward all over again, and I quite enjoyed it. Also, this outfit is my favorite one in the whole game. Amalthea ended up wearing this throughout all of Shadowbringers and the first part of Endwalker. 😁
Credit for the photos goes to my friend 🧡
