300 (2006) - 7.5/10 - King Leonidas from Sparta, marches with an army of 300 spartan to battle against the Persian "God-King" Xerxes. The ultimate sacrifice must be done by Sparta. The narrative in the film sets a very historical tone. The CGI used on the battle is beautiful. Sparta really made a statement when battling the Persian army. I did not felt the story was rused, I mean, the film starts with the Persians already mocking/insulting the Spartans. Also, I loved how we get a glimpse of women having political power and how women demand respect.
