7. what's one way your OC has changed since you first came up with them?

not gonna lie when i was first making calamity, i was absolutely floored. i wanted to create a conjurer OC, but i had no clue how to go on about it, what personality to give her, her role in my story, but eventually it all just clicked. i wanted her to be apprehensive of luna first, but i made her become luna's first friend at ravenwood instead. i was making her reference sheet when i realised, "wait, i have a moon themed OC... and i have a sun themed OC. why do i just not make calamity star themed?" and i thought it was a rad ass idea. and i still think so!!! calamity struggles with deep feelings of emptiness and self hatred, so she drowns herself into various hobbies, appears cheerful around people, and seeks out interesting stuff all the time in order to forget about those feelings. meeting somebody intriguing like luna who was not only a new student, but also completely new to the SPIRAL itself, was an experience for her. the stars finding the very thing that was missing from their skies, if that makes sense.

17. what is the worst thing you have put your OC through story-wise?

oh BOY. to put it short, she followed luna to khrysalis where she got so corrupted by the shadow that she completely went berserk, had undergone a nastier transformation than luna's and had to be sealed away. poor calamity was no moon wizard with light inside of her to at least control it a little bit, or chosen child soldier to endure all that. it basically ain't her there anymore. IM SORRY

Destiny Mythdreamer, my Myth Wizard 👁️

Destiny was born in Wallaru. Her parents abandoned her to a group of Kangaroo rangers. The rangers spent most of their time in the Outback with the creatures. Destiny, and her adopted father, Steve, spent so much time with the monsters, but they kept their distance because they lived in Wallaru. When Destiny was eleven, Steve went out alone into the Outback and never returned. Not even the rangers knew what happened to him. A year later, an old prospector advised Destiny that she should study to become a wizard. After some thought, she agreed and traveled to Wizard City. Because of her love of creatures, Destiny was enrolled into the School of Myth in Ravenwood. Destiny’s favorite hobbies include drawing, reading folktales, and spending time with creatures. Of course, found a Malorian Dragon (which she named Nym) and he became Destiny’s closest companion. But he’s not the only friend Destiny made.

I want to post more so I decided to introduce my version of young wizard.

Her name is Destiny (fitting I guess) and she’s a 17-18 year old balance wizard who is tired from school life back on earth and doesn’t appreciate being sucked into more school + saving the world. She mostly works solo but the wizards I made in-game sometimes help her with important bosses and dungeons. For example, my life wizard who is now a dark fairy helps Destiny defeat rattlebones as revenge for corrupting her and her fellow fairy sisters.

Not much of a personality other than that for now since she’s more of a “place holder” and I just created her last night

Sometimes I think about my Wizard101 ocs, and just how distinctly they are adults with their own lives.

Nora Soulbane, my pyromancer, is a notorious thief who got so annoyed with carrying around a wand she seared the fire sigil into her skin. Since there is nothing to channel her magic through, her flames come out as blue which scars her tissue. She doesn't care how much pain she is in as long as the heist is successful. The Crown despises her and has a bounty on her head, but she is just too dangerous to even try to get close to.

Erica Shadowblood, my necromancer, is a popular author who has a writers retreat in every world. The world keys are on her belt, and she dresses in traditional witch hunter gear. She believes in the power of a glock. She was a student when Malistaire was the death professor, and she heavily dislikes Ambrose. She may want to adopt all the death students because she believes in the beauty and importance of necromancy, and the students should be allowed to explore that without being pressured out of it.

Those are the only ones developed at the moment, but damn they really are living their own lives.
