What about if you did Live-Action movies? Though probably best not to do any very long or interconnected ones (like the MCU for example).
One of my choices would be Inspector Clouseau (played by Peter Sellers) from the Pink Panther films.
Here we go! (And you have no idea how happy it made me when you picked Sellers!Inspector Clouseau.)
I also don't know if you wanted regular movies or movie musical, both of which I can do. But it's just funny to me how half the cast would watch the musicals and be like, "How you guys breaking out into song and dance like that?! What, did you plan this?"
And the musical cast is like, "No?! I don't even remember doing that!"
(For those not in the know, musical numbers just help to progress the story and or be an entertainment piece for the audience, meaning they are non-diegetic, meaning that have no direct effect on the story world, like the soundtrack you hear during a movie.)
The Pink Panther (Inspector Clouseau) Ocean 11 (1960) (Danny Ocean) The Last Days (a 2013 Spanish science fiction thriller film which was amazing and I HIGHLY recommend it) (Marc) The A-Team (2010) (Murdock) Forrest Gump (Forrest Gump) Home Alone (Kevin McCallister) Jaws (Brody) Jurassic Park (Alan Grant) Back to the Future (Marty McFly or Doc Brown) V for Vendetta (V) It’s a Mad Mad Mad Mad World (Captain Culpeper) Holes (Stanley Yelnats or Zero) Night at the Museum (Larry Daley) The Princess Bride (Westly or Buttercup) Legally Blonde (Elle Woods) Little Woman (1949) (Jo) Men in Black (Agent K or Agent J) The Matrix (Neo) Jumanji (But only the 1995 one) (Alan Parrish) Zathura: A Space Adventure (Astronaut) Sound of Music (Maria) West Side Story (1961) (Tony or Maria) My Fair Lady (Eliza Doolittle or Henry Higgins) The Music Man (1962) (Harold Hill or Marian Paroo) Mary Poppins (Bert) The Rocky Horror Picture Show (Frank-N-Furter) The Wizard of Oz (Dorthy) Labyrinth (Sarah or Jareth) How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying (J. Pierrepont Finch) Singin' in the Rain (1952) (Don Lockwood or Kathy Selden or Cosmo Brown) Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Charlie Bucket or Willy Wonka) Guys and Dolls (Sky Masterson or Nathan Detroit) Little Shop of Horrors (1986) (Seymour Krelborn) Annie (1982) (Annie) Tick, Tick… Boom! (Jonathan Larson) Grease (Danny Zuko or Sandy Olsson) Les Misérables (Jean Valjean or Cosette) Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (Sweeney Todd) Phantom of the Opera (2004) (Christine Daaé) Meet Me in St. Louis (Esther Smith)

Osborne Earl “Ozzie” Smith (December 26, 1954) is a former baseball shortstop who played in MLB for the San Diego Padres and St. Louis Cardinals. Nicknamed “The Wizard” for his defensive brilliance, he set major league records for career assists (8,375) and double plays (1,590) by a shortstop, as well as the NL record with 2,511 career games at the position; won the NL Gold Glove Award for play at shortstop for 13 consecutive seasons. A 15-time All-Star, he accumulated 2,460 hits and 580 stolen bases during his career, and he won the NL Silver Slugger Award as the best-hitting shortstop. He was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility. He was elected to the St. Louis Cardinals Hall of Fame in the inaugural class.
He was born in Mobile, the second of Clovi and Marvella Smith’s six children (five boys and one girl). His father worked as a sandblaster at Brookley Air Force Base. When he was six, his family moved to Watts. He went on to play baseball in high school and college, at Los Angeles’ Locke High School and Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo. Drafted as an amateur player by the Padres, he made his major league debut. He established himself as an outstanding fielder, and he became known for performing backflips on special occasions while taking his position at the beginning of a game. He won his first Gold Glove Award in 1980 and made his first All-Star Game appearance. When conflict with Padres’ ownership developed, he was traded to the Cardinals for shortstop Garry Templeton.
He helped the team win the 1982 World Series. His game-winning home run during Game 5 of the 1985 National League Championship Series prompted broadcaster Jack Buck’s “Go crazy, folks!” play-by-play call. He continued to earn Gold Gloves and All-Star appearances on an annual basis. He had shoulder surgery and was out for nearly three months. He retired at the season’s end, and his uniform number was retired by the Cardinals.
He served as host of the television show This Week in Baseball. He is the father to three children from his marriage to his former wife Denise. #africanhistory365 #africanexcellence

SERVER ROOM from AB/CD/CD on Vimeo.
Short film Based on Richard Brautigan poem “All watched over by machines of loving grace”, 1967
Dystopia is no longer tomorrow. It is here, now and today. Entropy is real and will never stop. That’s how we understand R. Brautigan’s poem when we read it today. That’s what it means to us. He may have written it in a much more optimistic way in a much more optimistic time… Or was he being sarcastic? Today everything has changed, global warming scares us, the harmony between nature, animals and human beings is broken, we are scared of our place in the ecological environment, we are disorientated. We are hoping technology can solve our problems, but instead it takes us away from reality and no matter what, we can’t resist. In “Server Room”, we develop an enigmatic universe where an AI tries to recreate this balance between mammals and computers, but this attempt only produces distortion and monsters, each attempts to “watch over” goes wrong, we’re not sure if there is a happy end here. This is a first step before another short film which will follow next year, set in a totally different world, but revolving around the same emergency.

“MGM Jubilee Overture” – performed by the MGM Symphony Orchestra; conducted by Johnny Green
This medley overture was performed in 1954 for Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer’s 30th anniversary. In the days of the old Hollywood Studio System, all of the major studios* – MGM, Warner Bros., Paramount, Columbia, RKO, and Universal – had their own symphony orchestras. These orchestras recorded every film score that each studio churned out (feature films and short films alike). As the studio best known for their musicals, the MGM Symphony Orchestra was arguably the best of them all, boasting world-class instrumentalists that rivaled all but the very finest orchestras in the world.
Needless to say, these studio orchestras took on a lot of work and the studios wanted only the best musicians they could get. The composers, lyricists, orchestrators, and musicians were all under contract to the studio. This set-up no longer exists in Hollywood as studios dealt with tighter profit margins in the 1960s, changing musical tastes during that decade, and the fact that modern Hollywood studios produce far fewer movies every year than they did during Hollywood's Golden Age. These days, studios prefer to hire composers/lyricists/orchestrators and musicians on an individual basis.
Almost all of the original conductors' and instrumental sectional scores to all of this music were destroyed in the early 1970s when then-MGM owner Kirk Kerkorian decided to slowly convert MGM into a real estate company. To save costs, he approved of the near-complete disposal of the studio’s music library – thrown into a landfill now underneath a golf course. Kerkorian, for copyright purposes, allowed MGM musicians to jot down piano reductions of one piece of music for every MGM movie before the original scores were to be disposed.
The songs featured in this overture are listed below along with the films they featured in: 1:20-2:09: “Singin’ in the Rain” from various films; first introduced in The Hollywood Revue of 1929 (1929), best known for its use in Singin’ in the Rain (1952) 2:09-3:19: “I’ve Got You Under My Skin” from Born to Dance (1936) 3:19-3:49: “Broadway Rhythm” from The Broadway Melody of 1936 (1935) 3:49-4:30: “The Last Time I Saw Paris” from Lady Be Good (1941) 4:30-5:11: “Temptation” from Singin’ in the Rain (1952) 5:11-5:47: “Baby It’s Cold Outside” from Neptune’s Daughter (1949) 5:47-6:37: “Be My Love” from The Toast of New Orleans (1950) 6:37-7:03: “The Trolley Song” from Meet Me in St. Louis (1944) 7:04-7:30: “On the Atchison, Topeka and the Santa Fe” from The Harvey Girls (1946) 7:30-7:58: “The Donkey Serenade” from The Firefly (1937) 7:58-8:57: “Over the Rainbow” from The Wizard of Oz (1939) 8:57-9:24: Conclusion
Composers: Nacio Herb Brown, Cole Porter, Jerome Kern, Frank Loesser, Nicholas Brodszky, Hugh Martin, Ralph Blane, Harry Warren, Rudolf Friml, Herbert Stothart, and Harold Arlen
* For those wondering where Disney is among the listed major studios, RKO distributed many of Disney’s films until the 1950s and Disney would not be a major studio until the late ‘80s/early ‘90s.

John Lloyd Young's Broadway At The Carmichael - Childhood Dreams Do Come True
It all starts with a dream.
John Lloyd Young wove that thread throughout the evening on Saturday in Carmel, Indiana - as he shared stories of his Broadway dreams growing up, and performed the songs that inspired them, at the fabulous Feinstein's at Hotel Carmichael.
He also shared a little info about how the hotel got its name...a combination of the name of the lovely city it is situated in, and Michael Feinstein's first name. This is only one of the fascinating bits of knowledge that he shared during the show - a treasure trove of musical theatre, movie, and songwriting facts and insights that, along with his personal stories, made each song and every moment more meaningful.
He opened with "So You Wanted To Meet The Wizard" from The Wiz, taking the room by storm from the first word. He mentioned that this show opened during the year of his birth, so it's definitely fitting for it to have so much meaning for him. He then moved into classic romantic territory with "I Have Dreamed" from The King And I, making every member of the audience feel the emotion with every note.
JLY was accompanied by David Duncan on piano, who is an Indiana local, but who also performed with him in St. Louis earlier this week. They work so well together, and I look forward to future collaborations at the Carmichael, and possibly other locations as well.
The next song is a favorite that has just been added back into the Broadway set - "All I Care About" from Chicago. I was thrilled to experience this performance again, and still want to see JLY cast in this role on Broadway...he would be the perfect Billy Flynn. Producers - are you listening?
He told some wonderful stories about his mom and grandmother getting to see the original Broadway cast in several productions, that he later got to know because they were also in the movie versions. I won't share all of his stories from the evening...I'm sure he will be sharing many of them at future shows, so you can come and experience them for yourself in person or possibly get to hear them on a livestream for those who need that option. But suffice it to say, that OBC/movie combination fueled many of his dreams, which came true with Jersey Boys. It's incredible where your childhood dreams can take you!
He also combined his love of 60s music with those Broadway dreams to perform a beautiful "Till There Was You" from The Music Man, based on the Beatles' arrangement. He followed that up with some intriguing and compassionate stories about Lorenz Hart, and also mentioned how if Mr. Hart were alive in the present, he might not have been such a tortured soul in having to hide his sexual orientation. JLY performed a stunning version of "My Heart Stood Still", just one of the many songs that this prolific lyricist brought into the world.
Another dream that JLY had in his early teens came from listening to the Les Miserables cast album. He was so moved by the character of Marius that he constantly thought about how much he wanted to play that role. He wound up getting his chance a few months after Jersey Boys on Broadway, when he played Marius to 17,000 people a night at the Hollywood Bowl. How I wish that we could have all seen that performance at the time...but we had the next best thing on this evening, hearing him perform a powerful, haunting "Empty Chairs At Empty Tables" - and suddenly we were all transported to the Hollywood Bowl in 2008, while getting to witness this special moment in the intimate cabaret setting of the Carmichael.
Next up was a lesson in "vamping", Kander and Ebb style. it was fun for us in the audience to get to participate in a "name that tune"/ musical theatre trivia segment featuring the music of this iconic duo. At Friday's show, JLY performed "Sometimes A Day Goes By" from Woman Of The Year, but it was not part of the set on Saturday. I'm really hoping to get to hear this one in NYC. I remember well the beautiful duet JLY did with Michael Feinstein as a guest of his cabaret shows a few years ago, and I'm eager to hear the solo version. So hopefully it makes the cut!
We then moved into the Jerson Boys portion of the show, with "Big Girls Don't Cry", "My Eyes Adored You", and Can't Take My Eyes Off You", along with some special Clint Eastwood and Frankie Valli stories. After JLY finished "Can't Take My Eyes Off You", he went back and performed a portion of the song in Italian - completely taking our breath away. I hope he also records it in this way. You will definitely want to listen to it on repeat.
His tribute to Nell Carter, the thoughtful and emotional "Mean To Me" from Ain't Misbehavin', truly honors her while he makes it his own. It showcases his full vocal range - and everyone in the audience was blown away.
JLY then came around the room for "One Last Kiss" (from Bye Bye Birdie), delighting both new fans and longtime friends. There is no one who can work his way around a room like JLY, and it always amazes me watching him in his element.
We finished the night up on our feet for "Sherry" - but with a twist. Three musical theatre students from a local college got to join JLY on stage as the "Three Seasons" to back him up. Abby, Jess, and Ryan were all incredible...and Ryan nailed the Nick Massi bass part. Not only was it a lot of fun, but JLY was paying it forward by helping another generation fuel their own Broadway dreams. It was the perfect finish to a phenomenal evening.
John Lloyd Young has truly come into his own as a cabaret star, performer, and entertainer, all while being his genuine and authentic self. It is a pleasure and a joy to witness, and I can't wait to see where those Broadway aspirations take him next...with all of us supporting him on this magical ride. It all started with a dream...and even the sky is not the limit!

June 10, 1942 - In one of the most infamous single acts of World War II in Europe, all 172 men and boys over age 16 in the Czech village of Lidice were shot by Nazis in reprisal for the assassination of SS leader Reinhard Heydrich. The women were deported to Ravensbrück concentration camp where most died. Ninety young children were sent to the concentration camp at Gneisenau, with some later taken to Nazi orphanages if they were German looking. The village was then completely leveled until not a trace remained.

She is best remembered for her portrayal of Dorothy Gale in The Wizard of Oz (1939) and other films including Meet Me in St. Louis (1944) and Easter Parade (1948). She became one of the most popular concert performers of the 1950s and '60s and broke box-office records in New York City and London. Went to Wizard World St Louis yesterday and it was rad. Met @reallybradjones, held an owl, rode a dragon, and generally enjoyed the hell out of it. So many great costumes! Watched the members of the Charmed cast and Sean Astin talk about acting and fantasy...I already can't wait for next year!

@lordofthedoctorwars and I went to Wizard World comic con in St. Louis this weekend, and here are some of the highlights. The first couple days, we cosplayed as the Eleventh Doctor and River, then Sunday we did the Netflix version of Daredevil and Elektra. We got to meet Matt Smith, David Tennant, Billie Piper, William Shatner, Charlie Cox, Elden Henson, and @thehillywoodshow. I also got to hold a snake, and we saw a lot of amazing cosplayers.
