while I’m thinking of it, when Suvi was told she would find reasons to justify the instructions of her geas when she couldn’t remember them……. the way she went about finding the library on her first night there, standing surrounded by the stars, looking at magic she knows is beyond her comprehension and reach but is so so beautiful…… For a moment I thought she would chose to place the music box as a way of placing part of herself among the sky. she IS the wizard Sky!! she could have chosen a wizard’s ambition, making a mark, but it did not occur to her. instead, she left it as a gift………….. she is so full of compassion and curiosity and awe, I love her

Brennan Lee Mulligan arguing for the primal nature of morality on Ep. 40’s Fireside Chat is one of the funniest and realest things I’ve ever heard. He once again put into words what I have been trying to say for what feels like forever.

I do think the funniest part of the Coven of Heart subclass in the WBN Witch class is that they can replace spell components with things like the laughter or tears of a loved one because I know the wizards fucking hate that shit.

I had to do the equivalent of a magical thesis defense, and memorize a million spells, and keep track of a trillion different spell components; and yet those fucking Witches with their TWEE BULLSHIT get to make their friend laugh instead of growing mushrooms under the exact right conditions in a process that can take months at a time and is incredibly easy to fuck up?

At that point me and the entire metaphorical concept of magic itself have to scrap.
