The Goatee Problem

Pairing: Doctor!Strange x Fem!Reader

A/N: This is just a small blurb I came up with instead of finishing my Defender smut. Didn't want to end the month with nothing so I am posting this. Hope you guys like it and have a short but very nice reading.

"Believe me, you don't want to see this"

Stephen's voice sounded a bit shaky and nervous and his insistence that you do not go into the bathroom had you worried.

"Stephen, just tell me what happened. Are you hurt?"

You tried again to open the door and this time he didn't try to stop you from entering.

He was standing by the sink, but he turned his face so you couldn't see him in the mirror's reflection. You walked over hugging him from behind and he sighed "My hands... are shaking more than usual today... I shouldn't have tried..."

He turned to you, his face still smeared with shaving foam, but the goatee you were so used to was gone. "I had no alternative but..."

"Oh..." Was all you managed to say before bursting out laughing. Stephen frowned slightly offended.

"That's why I didn't want you to see me like this" He said pulling the towel from his shoulder and wiping his face.

He was gorgeous. Of course it was weird to see him without the goatee, but he was still handsome without it.

"I am not laughing at how you look, but at all the drama you are making."

You caressed his strangely smooth face, your index finger tracing around his lips and down to his chin. Stephen's skin was extremely soft.

"I've had my goatee for years, I don't even recognize myself without it."

You nodded, still distracted by how much the sight of Stephen in that different way was messing with you. "Well, I can't complain, you're still as hot as ever"

His face flushed with your compliment which made the whole situation even cuter. You pulled him to your lips and the feel of his smooth skin was different and interesting at the same time. He seemed taken aback by the intensity of your kiss and he was the one who broke the kiss to breathe.

"Don't get me wrong, Steph. I want the goatee back and you're going to have to put up with Wong and America's jokes for a month, but it's not all bad"

He didn't seem to understand where there could be a bright side to that tragedy and you made sure to make that clear when you kissed him again and continued to kiss the corner of his lips, running your lips up his cheeks  until you reached his ear and licked his earlobe with the tip of your tongue before whispering "I'm sure it will feel very interesting between my legs"

He glanced at you completely intrigued as you pulled away and walked towards the bedroom.

"Did you like it then?" He asked still unsure.

You chuckled "Yes I did. Besides I'm sure in another universe there must be a version of you without the goatee."

He took a good look in the mirror and shook his head as if trying to encourage himself. "You're right, it isn't so bad."

"Don't get too excited tiger, I want my goatee back as soon as possible or you'll be sleeping on the couch." You warned.

“How do I face Wong and America now?” He asked, his voice sounding completely mortified “Shit, can’t let Stark see me like this.”

“Good lucky with that.” You said laughing while leaving the room.

You gripped the curtains and pulled them back, closing your eyes as sunlight poured in. Dust glittered in the air around you, changing colours as it danced and swirled across your face. You stepped back, filling your lungs until they ached and letting it go in a slow, calm breath. 

The glasses were the first to go; a quick rinse under the tap and a wipe with a tea towel, put away into the cupboard where they belonged. The rest of the dishes followed, the counters sprayed down with disinfectant, the scent of sweet orange blossom filling the small kitchen, fresh October air drifting in through the open window. 

Next came the bookcase. Each book slotted into its rightful spot, trinkets and ornaments decorating the empty spaces. You sat on the floor, eating a sandwich and flicking through the photo album with a giggle; memories of christmases and birthdays, holidays in the sun and teeth glistening with braces. You wanted to be nicer to the girl in those pictures, she deserved it.

You found a sundress amongst a box of clothes, ripped at the thigh, the faint smell of perfume still clinging to the fabric. You sewed it back together with thread that didn't match, the hem wonky and imperfect when you were done. Still, you folded it and put it away in a drawer, the rest of your clothes packed neatly on top.

The bed came together easily, knives tightening screws and an old boot hammering nails into place. Fresh bedding covered the mattress, plumped pillows and a patchwork blanket. You climbed on the headboard to hang a painting on the wall, Lorna's signature scrawled in the bottom right corner of the canvas. 

When you returned to the living room, you picked up the sacred heart picture from the table. Looking at it for a moment before carrying it across the room and placing it into a box you were sending back to your father's garage. But after a moment, you took it out again, kneeling in front of the bookcase and sliding it into a drawer at the bottom.

You let music play through a small speaker on the shelf, swaying as you wandered barefoot around the flat, watering your new plants and humming to yourself softly.

The melody began to pick up; strings swelling and piano building to a euphoric crescendo. You twirled around the living room to the music, dancing alone in the glow of pinks and greens and golds streaming in from the window. 

And you kept dancing. Until your lungs burned and your feet hurt, until there was no part of the room you hadn't danced in.

Synopsis: it’s getting late, but your son has a special request for more music

Please accept this small fic of tooth rotting fluff as I finish up ‘Darling You Taste Divine’. Its Sherlock being a perfect adorable dad so naturally its catnip right?

“Play it again daddy play it again!”

Your son squealed with glee as your husband played his violin, its something you all have come to enjoy doing every evening. His little green eyes lit up as he gazed upon his father, he was his hero and best friend. He always felt like an outcast, but ever since you came into his life that changed for him. With the birth of his son came this human that looked at him not as a “highly functioning sociopath”, but as a hero, and someone to look up to. As far as he was concerned Sherlock could do anything.

“John William Holmes for the last time daddies hands are tired and he needs a break” you stated sweetly to your only son.

His little head turned to you with hands clasped pleading, “aw come on mom, just one more song pleeeeease!” Noticing his eyes getting bigger it was hard saying no when he has the eyes of his father. He always had his fathers tenacity and you admired that. Glancing over to your husband his bottom lip quivered in what looked like a cute attempt at a begging pout. Rolling your eyes you smiled and obliged, “ok fine alright but just one song, ok daddy. I don’t want him up to late” you and Sherlock eyed each other in a knowing glance and he gave a smiling wink.

“Oh trust me He won’t be the one up late tonight,” He gave that look that sent a flutter in your core. Returning his gaze to your son he smiled

“So, what does my little prince want me to play?” He plucked the strings gently with a smile across his face, “shall daddy play Mary Had A Little Lamb? I know mummy loves that one.”

“Ya daddy play that one!”

He winked at you across the room returning his instrument to his chin playing the classic melody. You noticed he eyed you and mouthed the words “I love you” that made you blush and blow a kiss in return. Over the years watching the happiness glow in both of there eyes made your heart burst more and more. There was nothing Sherlock wouldn’t do for you both.

“Because…” Stephen shrugged, “I’ve barely spoken two words to her.”

“Like that has ever stopped you!” He cackled loudly, shaking his head.

So im not feeling great at the moment, im not gonna lie. Im feeling quite homesick at the moment because ive just moved to uni a few days ago. Now i know homesickness is inevitable but i watched markipliers video titled “watch this when you’re feeling down” and he spoke about doing things you love which made me think about this blog. So Hi 👋, my name is Molly and I’m 18 years old and from the UK. I just enrolled in university to study Zoology because i like animals and the environment. Pairing: Sinister Strange X Fem Reader

Synopsis: Waking in a world that is not your own, you see a man before you that looks oddly like the man you once loved.

A/N: This is kinda proofread and not complete yet. It honestly feels like garbage. But I couldn’t help but post a bit of it. Ive missed writing for this dark prince ❤️

The air was thick inside the grand bedroom as he slowly placed his scarred hands behind his back; scars that reflected his foolish past. Stroking the calloused lines of his hands Sinister couldn’t help but be lost in thought. His tired eyes bounced between the storm raging outside, and the beautiful maiden now sleeping peacefully in his bed. Passed out from the stress and toll of the day before, you were a intriguing creature to say the least. Part of his mind thought between sending you back, but there was something greater that begged him to have you stay.

Perhaps it’s a sudden burning desire to be near someone again? Oh no, it couldn’t be that…for the many years of being alone have not been kind to Stephen. Not that it wasn’t partially due to his own life choices. But with the years of being the only soul left in his world, Stephen Strange was suddenly thinking a million things at once. The natural instinct was to always keep your guard up.

Sinister didn’t know how you found his haunted house, all he could recall was suddenly seeing a flash of white and then black. Next thing he knew he heard a loud crash coming from the main room; his natural response was in no doubt be on the defense. For the creatures that lurk in his mind were something far more to fear in his eyes compared to a simple woman. Hearing a soft groan Sinister shifted his head suddenly in your direction as he watched you finally stir awake.

Rubbing your eyes things slowly shifted into focus, including the tall man before you. Stepping forward taking a seat at the foot of the bed his eyes never left you. Making a simple gesture of his hand he ignited the many candles surrounding the dimly lit room. There before you wasn’t the Stephen Strange you thought, but a much more different variant.

For his eyes still captured the same spirit as the man you once loved. But as your eyes slowly trailed down to take in his features you couldn’t help but notice the slight hollowness of his cheeks accompanied by a longer more disheveled goatee. The ravenous colored threads cradled his handsome features that in turn gave an air of elegance about him.

Something about this Stephen felt…different.

Stephen watched closely with slightly parted lips from her words and the way she said them, shaking his head slightly to try and get out of his trance. The rest of the conversation was practically a blur to Stephen, his eyes veering over in Claudia’s direction the majority of the time. Once he spotted her breaking away from her friends and walking to the bar on her own, he politely nodded at his own group of friends and walked toward her. She had her back to him, minding her own business as she aimed to join the back of one of the queues. Stephen looked around him to make sure no one was watching him too closely before placing his hands upon Claudia’s waist from behind and smirking when he felt her startle slightly before naturally leaning back against him as his lips met her ear.

“Look,” He cleared his throat, holding her against him, “I just want to fuck.”

His words made Claudia both melt and freeze at the same time. She glanced to either side of her before tilting her head up and raising her eyebrows as their eyes met.

“What, right now?” She bit her lip.

“Right fucking now.” He growled into her ear.

“But… where?” She gazed up at him again, feeling her breathing change when one of his hands reached for hers.

“Come on,” He whispered before looking around the room, “Let’s get out of here for a little bit.”
