I saw the band that wrote/sang the song that inspired ‘Are You Happy, Stephen?’ again on Wednesday night and I think it gave me the kick up the arse to finally finish the next chapter of ‘Face Your Fears, Doctor Strange’ because I feel like I haven’t posted any in AGES

Palmerstrange Fanfic Idea:

Stephen (for some reason) goes back in time to when he was pre-accident Stephen and is still with Christine, cause idk maybe he has to fix something???

So he needs to shave to look like his old self again, which is weird for himself cause he hasn’t seen himself clean shaven in many years now, the only difference is that he’s now nicer/caring Stephen and not stuck-up Stephen anymore. He remembers that him and Christine had a date that exact day, so he becomes very nervous but also kinda excited. He gets ready for his date and then Christine comes, she immediately notices he’s acting different and pays it no mind, she just thinks it’s a rare day for him. Stephen is enjoying just talking, hanging out and being able to be touchy feely/ kissy with Christine again. Christine is really liking how nice and sweet Stephen is being and wants to reward him for being so good.

You can probably guess what Stephen’s special reward is for being sooo good, but it makes him very nervous cause he hasn’t experienced this with Christine for years, but he also can’t wait cause he’s wanted this for so long, even if it’s a different Christine from another time, he still wants to do right by her and so he’s very sweet/caring/loving with her, which again, kinda throws Christine off cause he’s being not his usual self in bed, he’s being too sweet and gentle and not his usual rough and fast and making her do all the work, it’s a nice change of pace. Stephen is just so so happy to have her in his arms again and also seeing her undress in front of him again and her beautiful body. He’s just happy to be tangled in her arms again in the morning, but he’s gonna hate when he has to eventually go.

"Sweetness Itself" by englishable: [3132 words / Hurt/Comfort] Stephen receives the punishment he begs for, in place of both Christine and the world, and so she comes back from the dead no worse for wear, even if she’s extremely confused by a few minor details. "Holy Palmers' Kiss" by Etheostoma: [3146 words / Hurt/Comfort] Though Stephen may shudder and ache with the weight of lost opportunities and his regret, he wants nothing more than for Christine to be happy. Oooooo goodie goodie! Now, where do I begin with this request?

It's a prompt that I wish I could see more often but don't, and I wish I did because it hits personal, and it brings me comfort. Even though I've been trying to write it myself I don't seem to have the time and energy to do so. SO even though I sort of had asked this same prompt from many ('cause I am an insecure and jealous bitch over Palmerstrange 😭), here I go anyways.

So, the prompt is sort of inspired by Glimpse of Us by Joji, but with a happy ending. Stephen is with Y/N, who treats him amazingly, but in truth, he had used her as a rebound to get over Christine whom he was still "in love" with. But Y/N knows he is but keeps quiet and tries her best to treat him good, hoping one day he will get over Christine and love her.

But after some event (you can decide what this is) Y/N reaches her breaking point and finally confronts Stephen. This leads to a very intense, yet emotional fight and they break up. Reader is sad and heartbroken since she still loves Stephen a lot, and so is Stephen who regrets hurting reader.

Then Stephen slowly realizes how much he misses and loves Y/N and that she was the one. He finally gets over Christine and he was going to make things right. And thus, comes along Stephen doing everything he can to prove to Y/N that he loves her and only her and trying to get her back. This can end with smut or just fluff, you decide! I am happy with either, as long as it has a happy ending with them ending up together.

I hope this wasn't too long and specific! I tried to make it as vague as I can to leave room for your creativity and talents to shine! If you consider writing this then I really appreciate it as it will help bring me comfort a lot, but if you chose not to write this that is fine as well! I don't wanna force a writer to write something they wouldn't feel comfortable with, I can find someone who is to write it for me, or finally write it myself lmao. Anyways, have a nice day! <3

Stephen Strange’s head was still engrossed in the patient files on his computer screen when his office door opened, immediately knowing who it was from the footsteps that earned him a Cheshire Cat grin.

“I’ve got something for you.” Christine spoke from the door way.

“Oh, yeah?” Stephen raised a brow, the smile still on his face as he made a couple more clicks on the mouse of his computer, “I hope it’s a kiss.”

“It might involve something like that.” Christine giggled, walking closer to him.

“Why don’t you come over here and show me?” Stephen finally lifted his head in her direction, pushing his chair out from under the desk and patting one of his thighs.

“Oh, typical,” She rolled her eyes, walking over to him and accepting his offer of sitting on one of his thighs, “Always making me come to you.”

“Well, what kind of ‘thanks’ were you looking for, Doctor Palmer?” Stephen arched a brow, trying not to smirk as one of his hands found itself on her thigh.

“Something a little more worth my time.” Christine dared herself to say.

“I’ll show you something a little more worth your time over this goddamn desk if you keep that attitude.” Stephen’s voice lowered.

“Is that a threat or a promise?” Christine arched a brow, biting her lip as their eyes met.

“Whatever will get me off the fastest.” Stephen shrugged, trying not to let on how much Christine acting like this turned him on.

“I don’t think you’d have the stamina for us to give it a go twice…” She shrugged, tracing her index finger along his jawline, glancing down at his lips, “So, it wouldn’t be a very fair answer.”

“Again, I don’t recall me asking you to show up at my office and give me attitude.” Stephen squinted his eyes, “But I would forgive it for that kiss.”

Christine placed her hand against his cheek and pressed their lips together, her eyes briefly closing for a few moments.

“That will be all, Miss Palmer.” Stephen spoke as they both pulled back in unison.

“Oh, will it?” Christine arched a brow, remaining against his thigh, “Because from what I remember it was me who came to you, how do you know if I'm finished?”

Smiling until his eye caught a glimpse of Christine from behind through the doors into the main event room. His gaze trailed down from her uniquely coloured hair to the blue dress which fit perfectly over her hips just like the way his hands used to, and he cursed his ability for still being able to notice her in a crowd regardless of it’s size.

“I think you are Stephen Strange, if I am not mistaken?” The man then quickly corrected himself before Stephen even had a chance to speak, “Sorry, Doctor Stephen Strange.”

“Correct, I am.” Stephen nodded with a half convincing smile as his eyes drifted to Christine again as he spoke to himself in his head, ‘because I'm certainly not the man who is still helplessly in love with her.’
