snowman - really cool and fun option, she organizes crimes that piss off spades slick and then captures him when he comes to get revenge and then they hate snog, its beautiful

spades slick - no no no hes got his midnight crew but he cant be like in charge of a whole mafia, thats not his style, he would get pissed and kill too many of the generic ones

It’s the next day and Dave hadn’t texted me since yesterday. Part of me wanted to ask if I made him uncomfortable with insinuating he was gay (he totally is) but at the same time I didn’t wanna bother him. Or cause another insecure freak out.

Still, I was worried. After all, this is the guy I’m trying to woo and romance, it’d suck if I scared him off already.

I sigh dramatically for the upteenthed time and lean my head on Gamzee’s shoulder.

“Okay! We get it, you’re miserable! We heard you the first sigh.” Terezi complained from her seat across from me at the table we sat.

“And you have yet to ask me what’s wrong! Some friends you are.” I huffed.

I sit, dejected and abandoned by these supposed “for lifers.”

I twiddle my thumbs for a bit then drum my fingers on the desk.

My phone buzzes in my pocket, It’s a text from Dave.

I look around expecting some sort of reaction as if either of them are able to see my phone.

I’m so excited I know I’m smiling hard like an idiot but I couldn’t care less. I check my backpack and luckily I have enough money with me to buy my lunch. As I turn my head I notice Gamzee’s been staring at me for some while now.

“Uh..?” “So I’m guessin’ you got some good news lil’ mama?” Gamzee asks, picking up my phone and putting in the password he already knew to snoop through the messages.

“Oh now you care?” I cross my arms and he doesn't respond as he reads the texts.

“I’d say good luck on your date but it looks like you got a third wheel- or maybe you’re the motherfuckin’ third wheel?” He teased and tossed my phone back to me.

“Yeah but I mean Karkat’s cool- Kat is Karkat by the way.” I say and start packing up to go.

“Oh really? Tell the guy I said hi.” Gamzee chuckled as he went over to Terezi, lightly kicking her awake. She shot up and banged her head on the table, grumbling as she stood up and stretched.

“Kay but could you do me a favor and tell everyone else at lunch? I don’t feel like getting a barrage of questions asking where I am.” I laughed as the bell rang and we started to walk out the door.

“hUh..?” Terezi asked, still confused from her brief but deep nap.

“Aight I will- tell ya in a bit.” He told Terezi as he dragged her stumbling body off to the lunchroom.

I quickly ran down the stairs and headed to one of the back entrances of the school that no one really went by.

I did a quick look around to make sure the coast was clear before opening the door as silently as I could and dashing out the door. I ran down the block before stopping, I don’t think the security guards would give chase but if they did, the walk of shame back to school would’ve been so embarrassing I’d just drop dead instead.

I hadn’t been to the Panda Express Dave was talking about so I put in the location in maps to get the directions before heading over and Dave was right, it was pretty close.

I pushed the door open and looked around but they weren’t here yet. I mean, since their school is a little farther from here it’d probably take them a bit longer so I just ordered and waited.

Not long after sitting down I could see them crossing the street, the light about to change and Karkat aggressively shoving an incredibly unconcerned Dave forward so they could hurry and get to the other side. I chuckle to myself as they come in, Karkat complaining.

“Jeez, do you think we have all the time in the world!? Or do you just not care if you become roadkill!?” He yelled.

“A car would never run me over. I’d just stop it with my bare hands like a man.” Dave said as they walked over to where I sat.

“Sup.” He nodded to me coolly

I let out a strangled hi, embarrassing , and Karkat just grumbled a hey to acknowledge my existence before sitting down.

Yeesh, guess he’s still on edge.

a continuation:

rose: sees jake get the achievement & offers to team up, exchanging netherite for totems. jake agrees. proceeds to spend the next 3-4 days getting absolutely stacked before building a massive redstone-heavy underground base that she's been privately planning for the last 3 weeks down to exact block amounts. eventually gets caught up in a war against dave before jane convinces calliope to restart the server. jake: joins rose. finds her detailed plans very satisfying to follow, especially since they don't require him to interact w/ others much. is on call with jade & rose while finishing the base when jade starts complaining about dave & how she still hasn't decided on a way to get him back. rose extends another team up offer & immediately starts writing revenge plans. gets nervous about the social involvement but is partially convinced once rose promises he can stay hidden & thoroughly convinced once she paints a picture of sexy midnight espionage. dave: helps roxy build the automated farm in an attempt to appease calliope. doesn't know calliope already showed jade his actions & thinks he's getting away with it. is thoroughly convinced that he got away with it until it becomes very, very clear that he did not when his beloved pet spider is found dead, the remains in a labeled chest next to a book of extensive blackmail. realizes rose's involvement from the book name. recruits roxy & dirk for protection. dirk: starts helping jane clean up the fire. later helps her & calliope start a community center at spawn & accidentally gets obsessed w/ building & decorating. gets recruited onto dave's side of the war, realizes jake is w/ rose, & starts living out a romeo & juliet style romance w/ him while trying to appease both sides as an ally & double agent. terezi: is recruited to rose's side to fuck w/ dave, & promises of arson. learns that you can shoot fireworks with a crossbow & gets two (2) blocks away from burning down dirk's elaborate entrance build before rose manages to stop her. starts training pvp w/ jade at rose's encouragement, which quickly turns into WWE rp & killing each other repeatedly in a basement. kanaya: joins dave's side of the war bc she's pissed at rose for not sharing her base blueprints. takes over as the shadow leader behind dave & works w/ roxy to get similarly stacked while dirk builds their base & dave figures out a way to get custom images on the server for his hand drawn propaganda. makes an incredibly overpowered enchanted netherite axe & names it Darling. karkat: trips n falls into a trap & gets locked in a cage of pure obsidian, surrounded by elder guardians & lava. gets the absolute shit scared out of him when rose pops up out of nowhere & offers to make him a figurehead leader in her war. hesitates, citing his past failures. learns oh, that wasn't a choice, he's stuck in jail otherwise. begs rose to let him out. starts writing speeches while rose personally trains him. roxy: finishes her farm & then collaborates w/ kanaya. starts hoarding the blaze spawners to get a monopoly on potions. stays up late to fight off sneak attacks from jade while building a blaze farm. tells john to get some elytras since he doesn't have to fight the dragon, "just tkae lotsa blocks w/ u". john: starts fighting the dragon. gets pissed when he keeps dying & grinds it w/ iron armor & a stone sword for hours until he succeeds. starts blocking over to get the elytras & falls into the void. calliope: watching everything w/ unmitigated glee from her glass sky castle. convinces everyone after day 1 to start filming their pov & teaches herself video editing to compile everything into a compelling narrative. starts getting Numbers on earth c tube. jane: refuses to take a side in the war when she realizes no one is listening to her. builds a beautiful house & lovely garden that gets fucking massacred during the First War. convinces calliope to restart the server w/ rules when rose starts parading around w/ a skull labeled "dave's head," achilles-style.

hs kids' first day on the earth c minecraft survival server

jake: starts digging straight down as soon as he spawns. keeps digging. keeps digging. keeps digging. no one ever sees him again

jane: enters ready to get everyone organized. half the server immediately runs off doing their own thing. stops the remaining crew before they wander off so they can start building a base before it turns to night. gives everyone roles and then has to go afk because she was on her lunch break and is actually playing minecraft on her company computer. comes back hours later and finds the entire server on fire.

karkat: gets a stone hoe and some wheat seeds thrown at him and is told to set up a wheat farm. nods even though he's never played minecraft before and doesn't know how. clicks the ground with the hoe and it seems to do something so he does that for a while. dave comes over and asks him why he's been just plowing the ground in one really long straight line. tells him to fuck off so he does. wishes he hadn't when he realizes he could've asked him for help. figures out that if you click on the ground with the seed it plants it and decides he's actually a minecraft genius and doesn't need anybody's help at all. dusts his hands off proud of the work he's done and then goes to try to find kanaya.

kanaya: is given a stone axe and is told to chop down some wood for the houses. does and gives roxy some stacks and goes to chop down some more wood because she honestly finds it kind of therapeutic. ends up clearing an entire mountain. night comes and mobs start sprouting up and she chops them down too. is surrounded by fields of floating rotten flesh and bones and cursed armor when suddenly she sees flames in the distance near the base. starts marching down there with the grim resolution of an executioner, ready to now start chopping some necks.

terezi: learns how to craft a flint and steel and discovers the magic of fire. laughs maniacally as she starts burning cows she runs into and laughs even more when she discovers they drop cooked meat. wants to find more things to burn. finds a raider's base and the sound of the wood torching up into flames does something to her and she starts setting fire to the entire forest. stumbles across the base. sets fire to one of the buildings. karkat comes over and yells and asks what the fuck she's doing. sets karkat on fire. laughs as she watches him run in circles not knowing how to stop the flames. suddenly gets murked by kanaya who's sneaked up behind her, and continues being hunted down by her as she respawns for the rest of the night.

jade: wanders off and finds a cute little village. decides that she's adopting it now. places some flowers she's picked along the way around to make it look nice and pretty. tames and places some cats around the perimeter and puts some torches nearby to keep away mobs. builds a water fountain in the middle of the town square. waves goodbye to go find some wolves to tame and promises that she'll be back.

dave: builds elaborately detailed dirt penises all over the farm while karkat works and negs him. karkat tells him to fuck off and go do something useful. fucks off accordingly and finds jade's village. raids everything from the chests and all the crops. puts dirt dicks all over the place. kills the cats for string and free exp. kills some sheep and creates beds and pushes some of the villagers inside a shitty little acacia building he made with a sign on it saying "breeding pen". throws some potatoes at them and then blocks up the entrance. turns around and immediately gets blown up by a creeper.

calliope: is the only one given op privileges as she is the only one that everyone can trust to have it. decides she wants to build a big cool glass castle in the sky. has just finished building the base when jade types in chat that whoever destroyed her village is going to pay. types "oh no!!!" in the chat. gets a dm from dave asking her for sanctuary because jade is going to KILL him. remembers that he's made NFTs. sends jade screenshots of the exact incriminating parts in the server log and happily continues building her castle.

rose: has debug screen turned on. immediately crafts several stone axes. runs off to the nearby desert and finds a desert temple and raids it, crafting an iron bucket. fills it with water and goes to a lava pool and builds a nether portal. enters the nether. speed bridges over to a nether fortress and makes a wither skeleton farm and proceeds to grind for ~3-4 hours. collects enough wither skulls. readies her bow and summons the wither and starts using its detonating blasts to mine down for ancient debris.

roxy: tried to convince everybody at the beginning to download 727378282 mods to make the server "more FUN!!". was unsuccessful. gets told to make some houses and beds for the base so she does. looks for other things to do and finds karkat's wheat farm and is flabbergasted. why is it in one long straight line. there isn't even any water. where is the water? tells john to go get her some redstone while she fixes it up so she can automate it.

john: not sure what to do. roxy tells him to start mining for redstone ("its red and shiny lol you wont have to dig that far"). digs straight down into a cave. realizes he forgot to get wood but decides to go on anyway. uses up all his stone pickaxes mining copper because he doesn't know what it is and it looks cool. hits a slime and it divides into more slimes and he freaks out and runs away with two hearts. keeps running and finds a door in the side of the cave wall. opens it. wanders around in a cool maze and then enters a weird room with some yellow and green chest like boxes. suddenly gets attacked by a little bug making a screechy sound and panics and dies.

dirk: rounds up some animals into pens for the base and then busts out a boat and a fishing pole to try to get them a book of mending. is chilling in the middle of the ocean and then sees that dave gets blown up by a creeper in chat. asks if he's okay and if he needs someone to come over. sees that karkat got killed by terezi. sees that terezi got killed by kanaya. asks what is going on. is now rowing back towards base. jade types that her village has been destroyed. jane has logged on and is asking why the entire base is on fire. is crafting buckets and filling them with water. sees that rose got an achievement for summoning the wither. texts her "Dude did you just summon the Wither???". rose ominously replies "I've got it handled." sees john got killed by a silverfish and roxy asking when the hell john found the stronghold. jake gets a cheating death with a totem of undying achievement. proceeds to have a total aneurysm.
