So, for those like me who either don't want to give money to The Mouse (especially not to get access to this version of the movie), who don't have it in physical format, and/or who don't want to torrent it because the extended version is difficult to find out there and viruses/Big Brother, and who maybe would like to enjoy more while at it, I may have a solution to offer.

During my search for the extended cut, I stumbled on this archived collection named simply HERBIE hosted on the wonderful and amazing website project that is the Internet Archive (one of the greats along Wikipedia) and let me tell you, I was not prepared for what I found.

You'll have to trust me on the link (right click + copy to clipboard before pasting it into your browser if you want to check and be sure), but should you decide to have a little faith, I promise it'll be worth your while (both for immediate gratification in the form of HD streaming or download, but also for an opportunity to explore the Archive if you haven't; trust me, it's worth it).
