williams downright has the best marketing strategy of any team on the grid rn, like having accessible meet&greets, the tp giving his blunt insights on the team’s performance, and an almost-weekly podcast of their drivers just yapping away; it’s all an almost foolproof way of gaining fans outside of the track.

Was nobody gonna warn me that I would fall a little bit in love with every character in Stardew

#I am literally following them around and getting excited like a little puppy its insane #I cant decide who I wanna marry I like all of them… I was a little torn between Sebastian and Harvey at first but now Alex is an #unexpected fav??? and I like Elliott and Sam theyre so goofy.. and I appreciate how down to earth Leah is #Emily is also quickly growing on me she feels like the valleys manic pixie dream girl to me. or at least Clint’s manic pixie dream girl #the only characters I don’t have much to say abt are Shane and maru.. Shane’s still a little mean to me like I know he warms up to u as #u get to know him but I’m not there yet.. and I’m just not all that interested in Maru sadly #it’s not just the marriage candidates its almost all the NPCs especially Granny Evelyn SHES SO NICE?? shes fun to talk to I love giving #her my best flowers.. for the most part i think powerscaling sonic characters is pointless and theres no objective answer to most questions of who is stronger or who would beat who in a fight because the truth is that the answer to those questions will always be determined by what works best for the story being told . however. it does kinda bug me when shadow is portrayed as significantly more powerful than all the other characters and people (whether it be official writers or people in the sonic fandom) act like none of the other characters stand a chance against him in a fight or whatever because thats just demonstrably not true. i mean yeah hes the ultimate lifeform but that doesnt mean everyone else is weak and powerless compared to him

#it especially bothers me when sonic in particular is portrayed as weaker than him because like #in sa2 despite being the ultimate lifeform shadow wasnt really portrayed as ''better'' than sonic #in fact it was kinda the opposite...?#in their first meeting sonic briefly thought shadow was really fast until he realized that he was just teleporting around #i could be forgetting something but from what i remember none of their fights had a clear winner either #they just kinda came to a standstill and/or were interrupted by the plot happening #and then sonic was able to pull off chaos control first try using a fake emerald and shadow was like Wtf how did you manage to do that #and then shadow goes super for the first time and almost dies while sonic has never really struggled with that sort of thing.#and also when shadow crashes down to earth he loses his memories while sonic has come out of similar incidents mostly unscathed #and shadow also makes a comment during the finalhazard fight that sonic might be the real ultimate lifeform #like... the point isnt that shadow is better than sonic its that sonic can easily match if not surpass shadow #even though shadow is the ultimate lifeform and sonic is just some guy #and im not saying that shadow could never beat sonic in a fight or anything #im just saying its silly to act like sonic is weak and helpless in comparison when that is shown in the games to not be true

Hey y’all, just a quick life update, I started a new job (because the one I got in the summer cut my hours really badly) and so I’m now working a regular daylight hour schedule again!! Unfortunately I’m still trying to recover from working a graveyard shift for three months, plus the new job will be a three day workweek minimum, so sorry if I’m a bit scattered or unresponsive some days!! I’m just getting used to a new job and a regular sleep schedule again! Orders will still be shipped out as normal though, don’t worry! I might just be a little drained in terms of my social and physical battery sometimes.

#I kept most of my venting about my former graveyard job to bsky but to put it simply:#management kinda sucked lol. they didn’t even respond to my two weeks notice email. didn’t even acknowledge it #I though I’d sent it to the wrong manager for a couple of days until I realized I’d been removed from the schedule LMAOOO #anyway. my biggest change of opinion (and possibly most controversial take) after the farseer reread is that uhhh, i think i genuinely like burrich/molly now?? and quite a lot too. what is wrong with me.

#burrich makes for a pretty good husband ok!! he is honest and caring and always puts molly and nettle first #they're both very direct and down to earth and enjoy a simple lifestyle with lots of kids and animals #(and based on the number of kids they have they clearly were compatible enough in bed too)#idk. their scenes in aq were much cuter than i remembered and kinda worked for me now that i've had a year to get over the initial shock #sure the age gap is whatever but like. i'd also fuck a dilf so who am i to judge #rote #realm of the elderlings #assassin's quest #rote reread
