How to be a witch.
This is a topic that will get you hexed, bring it on witches because here is my opinion.
To be a witch (a good one atleast) all you need to do is follow these steps
Step 1: Dance.. all the time. If you aren't dancing physicaly you should dance mentaly.
Step 2: Collect shiny objects. This is important gods like shinny stuff.
Step 3: Talk to your plants. This doesn't have anything to do with witchcraft.. your plants are just lonely.
Step 4: Just be you. Trust me on this step. The church 300 years ago would probably want to burn you, so congrats witch. You are now legit.

Feeling icky? Nose a little runny? Nice. Same here, before glitter that is. After glitter who has time to be sick when you look so cute? Here is the step by step.
Step 1: Wake up feeling off
Step 2: apply glitter as needed, any where and everywhere will do
Step 3: still feelin' off
Step 4: stop feeling off, glitter and icky vibes dont mix and honey keep the glitter. You look daarn cute in it.
There you have it. You feel better. You look goood. Win win.

Ring magic, posted with permission. I'd like to add one thing that isnt on here; If you wear brass rings on every finger of your dominant hand it makes you feel safe and a little bad ass, who doesnt feel awesome in DIY brass nuckles? Also please check out @wiccantips on instagram. They have so many great posts and images, I am very greatful that they are letting me use this image.

On Iron
NEVER grind your herbs (or in my case orange peels) in an iron bowl. Iron repels magic and should be used in warding charms and things like that. Place an iron horseshoe above your door frame to bring goodluck and keep foul magic out. Add a rusty nail to your protection pouches to give them strength. Be warned that iron also repels good things like fairies and house hold spirits, its common for them to take offence to just seeing iron items.. so in other words hell no iron.

On fairies
First off, yes they are real. I don't care what others say. It is very hard to ignore what I have seen with my own eyes. Fairy is a term used to describe a group of creatures and things that aren't human, they walk the line between our world and the others.
Now understand this well, it is very important. NOT ALL FAIRIES ARE GOOD. Infact most aren't. That doesn't make them bad either. They have their own laws and such, just like us. They have rulers and outlaws and wisemen and fools. They are not so different from you and I realy.
Attracting a fairy is easy as pie. They like pie by the way. Anything sweet and tasty they like. Its common to leave buttered honey bread for them, or even buttered toast with brown sugar. After you have given them their treat they will come back. You should always have a snack waiting for them. Eventualy your new friend might ask you if you would like some help with your craft. Also please note that most fairies like alcohol, and some like coffee.
Important thing. NEVER tell a being of other worldly power no, ask it to wait. The only time and way to say no to one of them is with a priest, priestess, or shaman by your side. Saying no just makes them mad.
Lastly, and this is common sense, be nice to your guest. Being mean to an elf or other being can cost you big time.

On enchanted objects pt1
There are many, many kinds of enchantments, so many that I am going to do a multipart post on them. This is the introduction I use them every day, as most do. An enchantment can range from mystical and magical to mundane and ordinary. Some are complex and take years of study, while others are easy peasy lemons are tasty! I prefer the simple ones. One thing to remember is that the enchantment is only as powerful as the caster's will. Also as with any spell, dont do it unless you are ok with it coming back to you!

On music
We all know that music is a powerful thing. In most cases its just poetry sung to the masses with a hope that some one, any one will understand. Think about it, have you ever had a song that spoke to you sooo much that it started playing on repeat in your mind. The 13 know I have. That song has a message. Its a message you need in that time. Witches have been writing songs since before my name to bewitch and to heal. We will continue to do so long after my line has ended, So what song is sticking with you today? Mine is Soldier, Poet, King by the Oh Hellos. Its a great song, what is the message? It is a message of brain and brawn.... and I just like the rythm.
