I've had this blog forever but mostly lurked to view art. Now I'm starting this new series on Instagram, but I thought I'd try posting over here too since this is technically my first art site.

Everyone in the Kirby series is so friend shaped! With the exceptions of Magolor and Kirby, who would you say is the most friend shaped?

Good choice excluding Magolor and Kirby. Otherwise they'd be 1st and 2nd place respectively.

As for other characters... Pretty much everyone is sure friend shaped... Hm...

This might seem odd, but I'm giving the number 1 spot out of everyone else to Wise Waddle Dee! So adorable and friendly looking, I love his glasses and hat. When I see him I just want to go over there myself and sit down with him for a while!

I'll give Bandana Waddle Dee number 2. He's adorable, but he doesn't have cute little glasses. So he's slightly less friend shaped.

Number 3 is hard... I'm giving it to Rick! He's just such a cute cartoony hamster, especially when he sleeps. Hamsters are friends, so he doesn't really need much explanation!

Gooey gets number 4! He's really cute, just more simple and slightly less so than those above him. He's certainly goofy and very friend-like, though.

I'll give Elfilin number 5. He's certainly very cute, but he just doesn't do it for me the same way as the ones above him, as much as I love the little dude! His big ears and cute little face definitely make him friend shaped, though.

There you go. My top 7 most friend shaped Kirby characters! (And top 5 that aren't Magolor or Kirby, hee hee.)

Okay, this has just been on my mind for a while actually... Got no clue if this has been asked before but

HOW THE FK DO SOME OF YOU HAVE THE MELTY LIP SKIN THINGY STILL!

Like- I don't care about the ones who don't, I want answers for the ones who do. Why? I mean, it doesn't make much sense to me like- you're free from the master crown's control, you got your bodies. What were you born with a fked up lil or smth?

I just wanna know- why-

💙: "I just guess it was another thing from the crown. Because this lip thingy wasn't there before!! Got scared shitless when I noticed it the first time. Frisk hand to squeeze my hand to get me to stop having traumatic flashbacks."

🍏: "Yeah, I still have mine years later. And I can confirm that it's from being corrupted by the crown. I've been thinking about getting surgery to remove it, but I've been holding off for so long that I basically can't. Because the whole 'secret identity' shtick I got going on now."

🚔: "Mine's a bit thinner for some reason. Not sure why. I think it must've been a style choice by whoever or whatever made me look like that Rayman guy."

👑: "Oakley got rid of mine the first day I arrived at the castle. He didn't want anything from his corruption staying with me as a part of his deal. Another way of trying to prove his loyalty to me at the time."

🦋: "Lucky! Having a melted lip is hard to eat with when you forget that it exists cuz you can't look in the mirror BECAUSE YOU'RE BLIND AF!!!"

🩸: "I think mine disappeared because of the undying ritual I did on myself. But it left an annoying ugly scar instead, so I'm not sure if that counts as an upgrade."

Hey, Susie! May I ask what your opinion on Kirby and the gang are? (And perhaps Magolor?)

"Ooh! Interesting! They're great friends to have!"

"King Dedede's real cool! Not only is he the strongest organism on Popstar but, asides from Sir Meta Knight, he's real smart too. He's the only person whom can intellectually and ethically challenge me while still being fun! He even indulges me on my many pet projects and ideas! Surprisingly being from a underdeveloped hicktown of a planet the king is on the up and up of many modern things and technologies! He's a fellow engineer, building his own automatons, machinery, and more! We talk about our shared many hobbies and interests when I come to Popstar and he outsources his technology from my company frequently so we are mutually beneficial to each other! He's like a super-duper cool older brother that my father refused to give me."

"I owe my life to Pinky! He saved my ass and by proxy my company too! Kirby's always fun to hang around if I have nothing better to do! However, I can't expect him to conversate about anything more than surface level and yet he provides solid advice even if it may be a little too blunt. Kirby's probably the most reliable trustworthy friend I have!"

"Bandana Waddle Dee, or 'Bandee' is alright! His pessimism and servile nature can be annoying but I can look past it because of his associates. I am most certain he does not trust me."

"Meta Knight and I are on talking terms now! At first, he annoyed me with his pitying gazes after the event but I understand that the pity he feels for me is a natural response so I do not care anymore. I find Sir Meta Knight exceptional and very respectable as a fellow intellectual, in fact we share many intellectual pursuits and ideological ideals. In fact, the two of us are working to help reform and advance Dream Land's level of technology. In spite of this however, I do not respect how much he lets his personal, backwards traditional values interfere with his true potential. Ethics and all of that. This causes us to butt-heads many times. It does not help that he gets very angry easy too which becomes a problem if I do not choose my words correctly. He's fun to talk with about more serious and thought provoking topics, however that is all he is good for communication wise! If it's not about machinery, old boring books, weapons, Pop Star's interplanetary defense, Dream Land's politics, justice or anything in line with those things he doesn't really know how to respond and goes flat. He can't talk about fun things at all! He could use a class in idle chatter, I took one and it's very helpful! He's cute too!"

March Kirby Birthdays...Again!

Still trying to take it easy, of course, but it stunned me to find out I'd been so relaxed that I completely missed RtDL DX's 2nd anniversary this year! I don't want to make that mistake again!

Now, the legend goes that Kirby arrived on a Spring Breeze, which, translated into English means... "There's a metric ton of Kirby birthdays/anniversaries in March to celebrate!!!"

Completely overlooked that Ribbon actually has a figure now. I believe it's her first, I could be wrong. Which is really surprising since I know Kirby 64 characters are on the more popular end, though I'm not sure if that's the case in Japan (probably similar to the US where it's a more niche pick compared to Magalor, I could be wrong). But congrats to the Ribbon fans 🎉

It could also be that her design is a bit more complex compared to Kirby and Waddle Dee, which is... A very high bar(?). Whatever's the case, I'm glad they're doing more characters now. One day Galacta Knight will be there, trust 🤞

KIRBY REMENT ALERT

THERE IS A NEW VOLUME FOR THE KIRBY SWING SERIES.

I still hate this specific style (swing series) because it's ruined the Kirby market because it's just all of these. NO ONE WANTS THEM. BUT, they have tickled my Munch brain with a Kirby Adventure figure. I also really like the Dedede one, it's cute

Arcane is a series based off of League of Legends which tells the story of Piltover and it's rivaling sides.

You may know many of the iconic characters that take place in the series. But what if Kirby characters took the roles of those characters instead?

Well, that's where I come in! Heh-
