The women in Sri Lanka are also demanding chic, comfort and functionality in the apparels that they wear. One wardrobe essential that ticks all these boxes is the wireless bra for women. Wireless bras do not use underwires that make some bras uncomfortable, they are as comfortable as other push up bras can get for daily use. From doling around at home or getting dressed to going out for a regular working day or for a formal party or dinner, a wireless bra can well be your best companion.

Looking for the best bra for plus-size women? Here’s what I found!
Women with larger breasts need a bra that gives them excellent support. Bras with larger cup sizes are the ideal fit for plus-size women. Buy plus-size bras online designed exclusively for women with larger breasts to ensure a comfortable experience. A plus-size bra ensures your breasts are well-supported. Whether you are running errands or working out, plus-size bras will provide the much-needed comfort.
Straps of regular bras might dig into your skin and cause discomfort. But the straps and bands of plus-size bras are specially designed to sit comfortably on plus-size bodies. You will also have a better posture with well-supported bras.

Bold & Bae Plus Size Bras
I recently discovered plus size bras by Bold & Bae Fashion. Here’s a rundown of the types of plus-size bras for women available on their website:
Funky Floral Padded Lycra Bra
These are lightly padded bras made from lycra. They have pretty floral designs printed all over. These full-cup bras provide good coverage for women with big busts. I bought the Funky Floral Padded Lycra Bra which was underwired, adjustable and detachable. The fabric felt smooth against the skin and the fit was amazing. They have floral bras in dark pink and black colours.
Tenacious Plus Size T-shirt Bra
T-shirt bra is a go-to lingerie for all women. They work well with almost all outfits. Tenacious + Size T-Shirt Bra is a non-padded full-coverage bra ideal for plus-size women. These bras provide strong support and excellent shape to women with bigger busts. They are non-wired with adjustable straps. These bras are a saviour from misfits, spillage and discomfort. You will find plus size t-shirt bras in peach, black, white, dark blue and grey colours on the Bold & Bae website.
Net Elegance Padded Full Coverage Bra
This is a softly padded wired bra that provides your breasts with a good lift and shape. These bras are excellent for ethnic wear and formal outfits. Bold & Bae has net bras in white and lavender colours.
Get Support And Style
Bras of Bold & Bae Fashion offer the perfect fusion of support and style. Their Net Elegance bras look gorgeous with intricate net designs while offering a comfortable fit. Women with larger cup sizes should not be deprived of style and support. Bold & Bae Fashion is an inclusive brand that offers plus-size bras in various styles.
Wearing plus-size bras reduces strain on the shoulders, back, and chest for women with bigger busts. These bras are designed with wider straps, stronger underwire, and reinforced bands to prevent sagging and discomfort. They also boost confidence by enhancing posture and silhouette.
I ordered the Funky Floral Lightly Padded Bra from Bold & Bae Fashion and would highly recommend it for plus-size women. It provides the best coverage and I absolutely loved it!

2023 intentional feminism [SUCCESS]
hey ladies! about a year and a half ago i finally wrote a list of feminist goals for myself, and as of this month, i've completed them all. intentional feminist action is something that has become very important to me and has effectively improved my confidence, body neutrality, social awareness, and overall wellbeing. i'm really proud of myself so i thought i'd share my success with y'all and talk a little bit about the journey.
GOAL #1: STOP WEARING SKIN MAKEUP
this was one of the first ones i completed, although getting comfortable with the change took a bit longer. i threw out all concealers, foundations, etc. shortly after writing my list of goals, and luckily my frugality saved me from going out and buying more in moments of low self-esteem. the hardest part of this goal was when, about 9 months after i had stopped wearing skin makeup, i developed a chronic illness that frequently flares up and is very visible. since then, i have had many days where i have to force myself to go out with blotchy, red, even bruised skin covering my face, and limbs. it's been difficult to adjust to strangers staring at me, but i'm really proud to say i've grown more comfortable in my skin as a result and have not given in to the urge to cover my symptoms with makeup.
GOAL #2: STOP WEARING EYE MAKEUP
eyeliner was a lot harder to surrender. in my teenage years, i wore a lot of eyeliner, often sharp and dramatic wings. i leaned heavily into the alternative style because i felt i wasn't attractive enough to perform femininity in the more traditional or conventional way. so for many months after giving up my concealer, i still wore eyeliner frequently. but in the year 2023, i've worn eye makeup a total of 1 time (with the exception of costume/cosplay makeup). it's a difficult thing to let go of, because almost all the pictures i have of myself as a teenager depict me with my eyes neatly framed with dark wings. and i'll admit it: it looks fantastic on me. but i've found ways to keep myself from falling back into that addiction, like not taking selfies of myself as frequently as i used to, not using social media, practicing body neutrality, and remembering the ultimate reason i'm doing this: to help other women feel comfortable in their natural state.
GOAL #3: STOP BUYING UNCOMFORTABLE CLOTHES
right now my wardrobe contains quite a few tiny skirts, crop tops, and other mobility-restricting, revealing articles of clothing. i'm slowly phasing them out as i shift my apparel to more oversized clothes, sweaters, men's jeans, professional suits for my career, and long skirts in which i can easily move. what has helped is a new job at a company that sells bras, panties, pajamas, and loungewear to women who want to be comfortable. we provide a less objectifying alternative to stores like victoria's secret, and so my employee discount has made it easy to stock up on unbelievably soft cardigans, pajamas, and wireless bras.
GOAL #4: STOP SHAVING
two things i learned after i stopped shaving: 1. there's a significant number of women who don't shave but have such fine/light body hair that it appears as though they shave regularly. 2. i am not one of those women. shaving had been a sisyphean struggle for me since the age of 12. my body hair is dark, grows quickly, and will do everything in its power to make "smooth legs" impossible. i remember years of researching different methods of shaving and hair removal, googling how to prevent "strawberry legs", buying various creams and lotions and exfoliants just so i could obtain that air-brushed look that seemed to come naturally to all the girls around me. giving up on shaving forced me to confront the truth: i am a hairy woman. i have hairy arms, hairy legs, hairy toes, i even have some visible mustache hair. while i will sometimes meet women at university who don't use makeup for any number of reasons (yay!), it is very rare that i see other women with hairy legs. and god have i been searching. in fact, i can only think of one time in this year and a half i've seen another female who visibly doesn't shave, and then i found out they don't even identify as a woman. very disheartening. i'll keep wearing shorts and being hairy in hopes that my female peers and younger girls will have a change of heart, but for now it still feels a bit alienating.
GOAL #5: JOIN A FEMINIST ISSUES ORGANIZATION
!!!!!!! very proud to say i had the opportunity to work for the Feminist Majority Foundation during this past election season. my state had a very critical piece of pro-choice legislation on the ballot in november, so my job was to canvass students on and off my campus, and to provide reliable information about the issue. so happy to have played a role in securing abortion rights for women in my state. for any women wanting to get involved with feminist orgs and potentially make some money, the FMF has a great list of job listings!
GOAL #6: JOIN AN ALL-WOMEN CLUB
this is similar to goal #5, but i wanted to find a space where i could be away from men, but without the pressures of activism or employment. i just wanted a fun, preferably creative activity i could do with women! and this month, i was approved to join a feminist writing/art publication at my university! i'm on their design team, so i get to make cool t-shirt designs and will help with the aesthetics and layout of the publication once we have all of our submissions in. it's about 8 female students, all of which identify as women which is always a plus, and i'm having a blast so far. female separatism isn't something that's realistic for me at this point in my life, but having little groups like this away from males is really comforting.
GOAL #7: SOCIALLY SURROUND MYSELF WITH (MOSTLY) WOMEN
like i said above, i'm no hard separatist. it's a dream that maybe i'll be able to reach someday when i have more financial independence, but for now i do frequently interact with men. i have a couple male friends, i have a good relationship with my brother and my dad, and there's always going to be men in my classes. this goal was intended to remedy the issue i encountered during my teenage years: i'd spent so long removing myself from the idea of womanhood that i barely had any female friends. for the same reasons i didn't feel like a woman for a long time, i didn't interact with women on a personal level for years. there's a few ways i have worked to fix this in 2023. first, i have made substantial progress in mending my relationship with my mom. we hadn't been close since i was very young, and the fact that i related more to my dad only further pushed us apart. i always had seen her as a traditionalist, because she had some outdated beliefs and didn't affirm my gender identity when i was identifying as trans, but post-peak reflection made me realize she was incredibly progressive for her era. she had a college degree, she waited a long time to have children, she was independent and competitive. i took time to apologize to her for the things i said in past years, and acknowledged her positive impact on me as a woman. we spend more time together now and are planning a road trip together in january :) i also try to prioritize making plans with the female friends i have made at university. it's fun to find events to bring them to, or just to have dinner together. in addition, i had the opportunity to travel abroad with three women, and the (somewhat terrifying) experience provided some wonderful bonding. two of the three are now some of my closest friends. finally, i now have a part-time job at a women's intimates store, like i said above. every employee there is a woman, and i'm the youngest, so it's given me a chance to interact with a wide variety of ages. some of them are grandmothers, some of them have never had kids, some of them are married, some of them are divorced. it's the sweetest group of women and i especially love talking to my manager, a tall, loud, 50-year-old misandrist who lives alone with dogs she's rescued from abusive homes and spends her money on travel and her passion for football. i really value time and conversation with older women now.
2023 has been a year of purging. i've cleansed my life of beauty routines, body expectations, my ex-boyfriend (ew), and it's given me the strength to continue my self-improvement and feminist work. i started the year still struggling with eating disorder recovery, recently assaulted by my ex-boyfriend, and frequently having nightmares. now, my grades have improved, i often surprise myself with how little i care about my appearance, and i've stopped having sex with men.
for 2024, my goal is to continue my cleansing work and to make it a year of cultivation. i want to cultivate my education and to cultivate skills like sewing my own clothes, cooking, growing food, and writing fiction. in addition, i will cultivate the female relationships i've established. wish me luck, and happy new year! :)

Friday 8th November 2024
The night passed very peacefully, and our truckie place was really quite enjoyable in a truckie sort of way. We met some interesting people who are doing a very similar sort of route to us, and we swapped advice, which I'm sure has been forgotten already. With little choice, I suppose if you find yourself in this neck of the woods, then I could recommend it.
There are, however, two main places to stay in Daly Waters, and combined, they comprise Daly Waters. Sadly, through an administrative problem, we thought we had booked at the other place, which was altogether quirky whilst ours was altogether truckie. We thought we were staying at the Daly Waters Pub, Outback Servo. This place is run by a bloke who has what I might diagnose as compulsory junk collector syndrome. Which is good because I can persuade Martine that however bad she thinks I am in the collecting department, this chap is a severe case. He passed eclectic years ago. He has bits of De Havilland aircraft, bits of helicopter, rusty vintage cars, vans, and buses. In the bar area over years, he has persuaded women to leave their bras in quantity; and they are hanging up as proof! Well, I shall post photos as evidence and to form one's own opinion. We had a coffee there before we embarked on the next stage of our journey, which was to Tennant Creek 407kms away.
Now, to compare our journey at this point in any way to the Camino de Santiago could possibly be judged as sacrilegious. However, hear me out. Our journey, not a pilgrimage, along the Stuart Highway, is in this case very much following literally in the footsteps of one man, John McDouall Stuart. His courageous endeavour, putting his and others' safety to one side, with a single focus set out six times in all to find a route from Chambers Creek in the south to Darwin in the north in order to lay the first telegraph lines connecting Australia to London. Surely that accounts to a Camino? Today, we have discovered monuments to the successes and failures of these expeditions.
The first monument was in Daly Waters itself and was the Stuart Tree, which has carved into it a big letter S. The top half of the tree sadly is missing, however legend certainly agrees that Stuart himself found the time in a very busy and exacting schedule to emboss his initial thus, most likely with his Swiss Army Officer's knife. Perhaps there are doubts, but he was supposed to have stayed locally on his sixth expedition. We also viewed a monument just north of Tennant Creek at Attack Creek, where he was attacked by aboriginies and there were injuries apparently in the skirmish which caused the party to return for a bandage or two and more supplies. On a more positive note, the third monument was in honour of Sir Charles Todd, who, at 15.15 on August 22nd, 1872, officially witnessed the joining of the two sections from the north and south. Unfortunately, we are denied more detail, but we can perhaps imagine the course of events when Sir Charles tried to send a message, nothing happens and some wag says, have you tried turning it off and back on again? We can only imagine the sequence, but at 15.15 in Australia, it would have been 4.45am in London. I doubt anyone of any importance would have been interested in a chat with someone in the antipodeans. Who? says Queen Victoria. Sir Charles Todd, says Gladstone. Who, says QV again? Do I know him?
Of course, when Stuart had completed his route, which I trust he had recorded and marked meticulously, he then called for Cable and Wireless to do the grunting and actually lay the cable. The route could not be criticised, it ran as straight as a ruler. The greatest inventions of all times must include the wheel, sliced bread, Teflon frying pans and sticks. Stuart must have used 3 sticks to get a straight line north. Whilst the aboriginies were throwing sticks at him, he was employing them like a Roman to make a straight line. That's evolution for you I suppose. The aboriginies caused a lot of interruptions to the progress of the line. Even when it was complete, they made it their business to damage it. They broke the glass insulators on the poles and used the fragments of glass on the tips of their spears. The solution appears to be that they were given uniforms and jobs in the repeater stations, which also fixed the naked issues the missionaries were concerned about.
We are now ensconced in the Outback Caravan Site in Tennant Creek and are extremely comfortable sitting here once again watching the sun go down and consuming SB with some nibbles.
ps. Travelling along the Stuart we passed through huge areas that were in a controlled burn session. Quite unnerving having flames next to the highway.

Been working on a lingerie shop for a while and may have some insight to help. Most women wear bras that are too wide on the band, which has to support about 80% of the weight. Band -support/straps - lift: a slightly tigher bra will be more comfortable and site better than tight straps. For a wide band and a small cup, you can go for wireless push-up with a triangle cup, because they will make the breast form more natural and offer support. Look for something that is really short in the front, triangle of plunge, because they will push the boobs from the sides and push them slightly to the middle, to create a natural form. Most bralettes are wide on the front, but triangle bralettes with or without padding can be a good option as well. If you have a wide chest or wide-set breasts a balconette might be an option, the straps are set wider than normal and the cup cuts in the middle of the breast, lifting it up without being quite push-up (although the breast will look rounder this way). It's always best to get fitted, but trying on different styles is the best of fitting is not an option. Hope this helps!
wow okay awesome! thanks for the advice!

So I just realised something, and I am not really sure if I will manage to articulate very well, but it pisses me off, and I need to rant... so for a bit of context. I am both an enthusiastic dancer and martial artist. I am also pretty flat-chested and I sew my own clothes including bras.. these three facts are important...when I say I make my own bras that includes my sports bras. My current ones are actually based on the pattern of a wireless normal bra which had already very little sideways and downward bounce to which I added an additional panel to the top of the cup to prevent upward bounce and then hiked the neckline to the start of the brastraps. These bras have served me well for almost three years, and I have almost no bounce and never had any spillage or even cleavage showing.... these are damn comfortable bras and they give enough coverage that if it gets hot I don't have any compunctions to take off my shirt, or in the case of martial arts that I don't wear a t-shirt under my gi.
So yesterday I got into a conversation with my black belt opponent, a very respectful dude whose only consideration when faced with a female opponent is mostly that we are little bit less strong, have a different centre of gravity and are a little ( or in my case a lot) more flexible... And we got into a conversation on where to hit women versus men during a friendly exercise.
When you have to hit a man in the torso, it is generally considered smart to do it a little bit high to avoid accidentally hitting him in the balls. Nobody intends to hit there, but you know shit happens during exercises, so aim a bit higher to be sure. In the same vein, when hitting a woman in the torso, you tend to aim a bit low to avoid accidentally hitting her in the boobs. It sounded logical to me because even being somewhat flat-chested, getting hit in the boobs bloody well hurts. But then my opponent said: well yeah there is that, but you also don't want to heave cleavage spilling everywhere... And that puzzled me because my half-selfdrafted sports bra has never spilled anywhere, even when upside down during a fish flop at the dance lesson. But I thought about it a bit more and I looked around and then I realised that almost all the ladies had high necked t-shirts under their gi. The only one who didn't was another petite flatchested lady and one of the beginners who had some serious boobs and who was indeed, despite the fact she was wearing a sports bra, in danger of spilling if she moved wrong... and then I thought back to my last dance class where a lot of ladies had taken off their shirts since it was hot ( we have only four guys in the class and all of them are gay so nobody is afraid of anyone being creepy)... and I realised that all of their bras, no matter how big-breasted or flat-chested they were, showed off some cleavage. That I was, in fact, the only one who had full coverage..... and I realised that even when we are doing sports, you know one of those moments no-one is aiming to look particularly sexy, the industry apparently though it necessary to make bras that show cleavage...even when it actively negates the function of a sports bra, aka keeping your boobs secure under any and all circumstances....
And this pisses me off so much. Because apparently, there is no moment in a woman's life where she can escape society 's need to make her sexy. Not even if she is simply taking care of her health, or getting sweaty tossing guys around and cackling like a villain when it works, or just honestly enjoying the fact you got that tricky combination down.
And that worse, society's need to make her sexy even during these activities is actively impeding her in doing so...
Just bugger off, okay...

I love that, in the time since you started your journey towards manhood, your boobs have more than doubled in size. That's just plain impressive! Most women would be supremely jealous of that kind of growth! Not to mention the fact that I couldn't help noticing how big your bust measurement is in relation to your height. Pretty soon, your bust will be bigger around than you are tall! And that'll just be the beginning! The arousal and sensitivity won't stop and whatever dysphoria you feel will be smothered in greasy, comforting, fatty foods that'll just help your bust and your belly and your hips and your ass get even bigger. I'd love to try forcing you into the bra you wore before you started your transition. There'd be more udder spilling out of it than would be contained inside it. Even if you injected the testosterone directly into your tits, I doubt it would help.
I’m only 64” talk so it’s really not far off. And my belly and hip measurements are even closer to that point. It won’t be long before I’m bigger around in multiple respects than I am tall…
I still do keep around one of my old favorite pre-transition bras, a small wireless c cup. It’s hot to squeeze into, even though I can barely even get it on these days. It’s hot to feel how the band digs into my side and back fat, and how the cups squeeze and can barely contain my tits. And teasing my nipples through the fabric drives me wild. The humiliation always makes me throb. Mmph.

I think Rihanna and Lizzo don’t get enough credit for their efforts in normalizing regular titties. Rihanna brought back wireless bras that don’t try to shape your breasts, and I cannot tell you the impact of seeing models of all sizes on her site wearing those bras. Their boobs were allowed to lie against their body where they naturally draped, rather than being pushed up and together and outwards away from their chest. Suddenly celebs and models were foregoing the push-up bras that had held prominence for two decades. Lizzo continued this glorious work by displaying her own beautiful body with her big titties laying where they lay, whether taking her own pics or being photographed. With Yitty, she too included bras that support without completely re-shaping and perkifying the boobs. While Rihanna was groundbreaking with how many sizes she offered for lingerie and the wide variety of body types shown modeling them, I feel like Lizzo really inspired the wider acceptance of those looks on bigger bodies by demonstrating it unashamedly. Before these two ladies I would never have let anyone see my titties outside of a push-up bra. All of us with loose-skin titties, saggy titties, heavy titties, far apart titties—any titties that didn’t stay up and round and close together to create that obvious cleavage—we were given second life by these two women.

Once again taking this as an opportunity to recommend a thing that's made my life way better! With the caveat that I don't know exactly your friend's level of fatness.
Evelyn and Bobbie is the only company I've ever found that makes wireless bras for busty women, with inclusive sizing (up to 3X), that are genuinely supportive and comfortable and don't dig in anywhere. I basically live in mine and *hate* the rare occasions where I need to wear something a bit more structured.
For more specific band and cup size information about what their 3X means, take a look at their size guide.
Some of their bras are higher-necked, but they've made a lot of lower-cut ones recently that are equally supportive and comfortable.
We don’t talk enough about the systemic health effects of casual fatphobia and how much they fucking skew the data to the point where we literally cannot know how much outcomes are actually related to fatness and how much they are related to society not being designed for fat people, like literal design.
My best friend cannot find a bra.
She’s fat. We won’t get into the ~why~ here because it honestly wouldn’t matter whether it was “all her fault” or whether it was a result of outside forces like genes and such, she still deserves a goddamn fucking bra that fits.
And she cannot find a bra.
She’s short and fat, and Fat Bras are usually full cup, but because she’s short the full cups are usually too tall, or the armbands around them are too tall, to the point where what’ll fit around her chest and over her boobs will also dig up into her arms or have such high coverage that she literally cannot wear a shirt with a neckline high enough. Any bra that goes out enough goes too high.
This affects her ability to find clothing, impacting her ability to go outside sometimes, because she has this tiny selection of bras and she constantly has to wash them and when they’re gone she has no idea when she’ll next be able to find another unicorn bra. They appear in a flash usually in startups that die soon after, and COVID has killed most the small businesses remaining where she had even a hint of a chance of finding a fitting bra.
So she wears bras that don’t fit. Or she doesn’t leave the house. One gives her back pain. The other is, obviously, not very active. She likes to be active.
If she brings it up, people suggest breast reduction surgery.
But the thing is, with a good bra, she does not get back pain.
But if it’s that hard to find a good bra, they say, wouldn’t a reduction just be easier?
Wouldn’t it be easier for you to chop off part of your flesh, they say, then for us to cut fabric and underwire to more sizes? As if that is normal. As if that isn’t horrifying.
It’s not just bras. It’s chairs. It’s benches. It’s goddamn shoes. It’s seatbelts. It’s exercise equipment - I just got an exercise bike for Christmas. I had to shop around to find an affordable one that was also rated to take my level of fat. If I were 100 pounds heavier, which some people are? I don’t think any equipment would have existed in a price range that any working person could expect to afford. I don’t think most people even look at the weight ratings on chairs and couches and furniture. Once you start? They are lower than you think. There are absolutely 100% people you love in your life - whether really tall men or just average kinda overweight fat people - who should not be using the things they are using. Who are not getting support from their mattress, their footwear, their office chair. It might be you! You might be thinking “but I am average size!”, but the amount of furniture out there that’s only weighted to about 200lbs? Or 175??? It’s SO MUCH MORE THAN YOU REALIZE. Get into the Proper Fat? The 350lb, 400lb, 500lb fat? There’s virtually nothing.
Seatbelts are not tested for fat bodies and seatbelt extenders aren’t regulated.
We know about the problems with too small a blood pressure cuff. With too low a medicine dose. With no MRI a really fat body can fit in for a thousand miles.
We know, from multiple studies on multiple oppressed communities, that social bias by itself, with zero other compounding factors, can give people worse health outcomes.
Now add up
+ one of the social biases with the least pushback even from the educated liberal set with
+ having a world that is literally not made for you. Where you cannot get clothes, furniture, or transportation in a way that will actually accommodate you,
+ where society is constantly blaming you for this. And even if you somehow (and if you know how, please tell me) manage to retain some sense of self worth and optimism and determination despite all that
+ that’s not gonna magically give you access to the daily supplies a person needs in their home and out in public that’ll make living safe and healthy life literally physically possible.
If you’re really so concerned about fat people’s health start a bra company. If you’re really so concerned about fat people’s health mandate changes to seatbelt requirements. If you’re really so concerned about fat people’s health have a variety of chairs in your waiting room with at least some being properly Fat Rated. If you’re really so concerned about fat people’s health, make it easier for fat people to be active by making exercise equipment that fits them, swimwear that’ll actually stay on them, athletic shoes that can bear them. If you’re really so concerned about fat people’s health ask they be included in more medical trials. If you’re really so concerned about fat people’s health, promote fat visibility and fat people loving their bodies - because hating yourself has literally never been good for anyone’s health.
If you’re using “concern for health” as a shield to allow you to judge and criticize strangers, you don’t give a fuck about anyone’s health. You’re just an asshole who prefers a veneer of respectability when you bully people. You’re hateful and we can see right through you.
But fatphobia isn’t just bullying. It isn’t just judgment from strangers. It isn’t just medical neglect and medical bias. Even if we could wave a wand and make all that go away, my best friend still wouldn’t have a bra that fits, people still wouldn’t have a chair that supports them, a seatbelt that protects them. It’s literally engineered in. And it slowly kills people day by day by day.
