WIP Week 2019 [Day 2]
Question:  What small fandom/rarepair would you love to see/create more fanworks for?
I would love to write more for
♥ Atsushi/Kyouka (Bungou Stray Dogs) ♥ Yusuke/Futaba (Persona 5) ♥ Ban/Elaine (Nanatsu no Taizai) ♥ Reinhard/Felt (Re: Zero)
An underrated WIP
Fandom: Bungou Stray Dogs  Shipping: Soukoku [Chuuya Nakahara x Osamu Dazai] Notes: The story is about lifetime single Chuuya getting talked into a seminar about dating led by Dazai. [WIP: 10th Sep. 2018]
"You're playing the role of the beautiful lady we all want to have has a girlfriend and are too shy to speak to." Dazai explained and earned raised eyebrows as an answer from Chuuya. This guy definitely had a screw loose.
"I'll give you beautiful lady, you-!"
"No, that's not how it works!", Dazai interrupted him and stepped a few steps away from Chuuya. Dazai started to look around nervously and brushing his finger through his hair. "Oh- a beautiful lady- I- I want to speak to her!", he said, falling over his own words again and again. Then he walked towards towards, hold his hand shakily in front of Chuuya and murmured a simple "Hi."
Utterly confused about what is happening, Chuuya answered with an even so simple "Hey," and reached out to grab Dazai's hand.
Dazai turned around, back to the audience. "See? That's how all of you probably approach speaking up to a girl." He let go of Chuuya's hand to gesture around. "Do you really think someone hot-" He pointed towards Chuuya and he could feel how his cheeks warmed up with this comment even though it was pretty clear only part of the lesson. "would really want to speak with you coward?"
Walking a few steps away from Chuuya again. "Now look how I do it." Chuuya tried to prepare himself for whatever would come now but Dazai kneeing down in front of him, taking his hand and asking: "You're beautiful, young lady. Do you want to commit a romantic double suicide with me?" wasn't what he had expected in a hundred years. Without giving Dazai an answer, he stared at him.
Someone from the audience raised his hand and voice: "I don't think this will work out."
Standing up from his position, Dazai through one of his short hair strands behind his ear but if fell back in its place again. "Of course not," Dazai agreed. "I said, how I do it."

It’s WIP Week, e’rybody!!! June 27, 2019 - Canonverse WIP
Tumblr media
Sooooo it’s WIP Week 2019, which gives me an excuse to send this big thing around again!!!  June 27 is for Canonverse WIPs, and this is MY big canonverse WIP.  Or at least it was after TLJ was released.  It’ll become canon divergent, I suppose, if I can’t finish it before Dec this year (which... I’m not sure will happen even if it’s a soft goal).
The Machine UPDATE: Chapter Twenty-One
Summary:
“Force users, they’re so arrogant.  They think this war is all about them.”
Rey and Kylo Ren - two halves of the same protagonist.  But if they’re both right, then who is wrong?
What if the face of true evil wears an entirely different kind of mask?  What if it’s something with impossibly deep roots - a corruption so insidious, it could hide itself in plain sight?  What if it’s the very same military industrial complex needed to fight this war in the first place?
What if it’s simply… greed?
War is a Machine, internally combusting and turning itself over.  Is balancing the Force enough to stop it?
Is saving what we love even enough?
Doesn’t mean they’re not going to try…
Rating and Tags:
Fandom: Star Wars (Post TLJ) Canon Compliant Chapter Rating: GA, Teen & Up (for now, with perhaps eventual smut) Relationships Kylo Ren (Ben Solo) / Rey, Finn / Rose Tico Additional Tags: Slow Burn, Eventual Romance, Sexual Tension, Redeemed Ben Solo, Plot Driven, Adventure, Episode IX

WIP Week Day 1: Your Oldest WIP
Tumblr media
Someone to Believe In
Started: November 2012 🙈
Fandom: NCIS: Los Angeles
Ship: Nell Jones / Eric Beale
Rating: K+
Chapters: 14/? (15-16 I think)
Words: 64K+
Summary:
"Didn't you ever wish that there'd been an error? That someone would walk into your classroom and explain there'd been a mistake; that you were really meant to be two or three grades?” Nell and Eric get sent undercover, playing happy family to hide the daughter of two dead NCIS analysts bringing out a lot of their struggles with being the smartest kid in the room. There’s a mole at The Mission, a family in the making and a very deadly plot afoot but the biggest risk of all is that Nell will drop the walls she’s spent so many years fortifying - that she’ll lose her heart to her best friend and the child they’re suddenly raising together - and that nothing will ever be the same again.
This fic has taken an embarrassingly long time and hangs over me like a dark cloud because I want to finish it - hell, I have to finish it - but I was very inexperienced when I started it and made it hopelessly complicated so it’s very difficult to wrap up. Also, I left that fandom years ago, first for Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries, then Arrow, finally Shadowhunters. I'm determined to finish it before November because 7 years is an unforgivable timeline.
Excerpt from unfinished Chapter 15:
As he swept away Nell’s breadcrumbs he realised that among the debris of the hack were tiny fragments of code he recognised. Code that had his own very distinct style, as unique and identifiable to the trained eye as his handwriting. Code that, as he watched, started to form chains across the four separate HR files, building executable strings that exploited the features of the HR software it had been deposited into. There was an edge of horror that sliced through his admiration when he realised he’d been wrong when he had assumed this was a simple fact-finding mission. It was phase one of a calculated attack. Nell was setting a trap and he needed to get the hell out of the HR system before it was complete. He knew Nell would have done everything she could to make sure Eric couldn’t accidentally set it off but with a mole on the inside, it would need to have a hair trigger. As Eric pulled out, slamming the digital doors behind him, he felt a haptic alarm start to pulse on his wrist. Knowing Nell’s penchant for morse code messages, he’d been waiting for it to start from the moment he’d noticed her hack

WIP Week 2019 [Day 1]
Question:  What fandom would you love to revisit?
I would love to come back to K (Sarumi & MikoTotsu) or Fairy Tail (Jerza) someday! <3
Your oldest WIP:
Fandom: Bungou Stray Dogs Shipping: Soukoku [Chuuya Nakahara x Osamu Dazai] Notes: It’s a continuation to my already published Soulmate fic! [WIP: 27th Aug. 2018]
"It's already late," the carriage driver said with a shaky voice and tightened his grip around the reins. The almost full moon was clearly visible on the sky and it was already a few hours into the the cold winter night. "We should stop at the next town and take a rest in the next inn."
To take a look outside, Chuuya put the curtain of the carriage away. Atsushi was right. It was probably for the best taking a break for today and the lights of the town were already in sight. "I agree." They were good in time anyway so no reason to stress them or the horses more than necessary.
"I hope they have free rooms for us that late," Yosano brought up. She traveled with them because she was Dazai's personal doctor and he wouldn't let anyone else near him. Together with Atsushi as their driver for the carriage they were only four people. "Also we should hide the prince's face just in case."
Dazai who was reading with the candle light up until now, closed his book and sighed. "It's horrible."
"It's your job as future king to learn about other potential partners for the kingdom," Yosano lectured him and took the book away to put it in her small leather bag.
Dazai pouted. "But it's cold. Why do I have to do this in the middle of winter?" Chuuya rolled his eyes. "Because summer would be too hot for your royal ass."
Yosano suppressed a chuckle behind her hand and scolded Chuuya with a sharp glare for his words.

WIP Week 2019 [Day 7]
This is the last entry for the WIP Week! Feel free to tell me your opinion on them! <3 And I hope you enjoyed seeing some of the unpublished things I work on from time to time!
Question: What WIP (not written by you) would you love to see updated?
Countdown by @athina39 uwu
Any WIP
Fandom: Bungou Stray Dogs Shipping: Soukoku [Chuuya Nakahara x Osamu Dazai] Notes: This is a Model!Chuuya x Model!Dazai AU. They don’t know each other personally yet but Chuuya really loves Dazai’s work so of course, he takes the chance to work with him when the AD-Agency offers a collaboration.
When Elise freed him from the hug, his eyes met Dazai's. Chuuya couldn't tell what his eyes said but his expression looked neither happy about them accepting nor annoyed that he had to be here. "I'm sorry," he apologized, bowed slightly in front of everyone and took his place next to Kouyou. Chuuya wasn't able to give the feeling in his stomach a name.
Mori cleared his throat and clapped his hands together in front of him. "Now we're complete, we can start by discussing the details of the contract and the project." The boss turned to Elise and pointed at everyone else present in the room. "Elise will give you a copy of a contract we already worked out with the wishes you sent us via mail."
Before Mori was finished with speaking, Elise had given a copy to everyone already, wearing her professional smile and a respectful nodding movement. She was sixteen years old and Chuuya really liked her as a person but he couldn't and didn't want to understand what she found so fascinating about Mori. However, he probably wasn't in the position of judging anyone's private life.
Talking about all the details mainly happened between Mori, Elise and the managers. Chuuya only gave his opinion on some points when he was asked directly because he trusted Elise' judgement on the topic. His attention laid on Dazai and how he seemed to search something in the small meeting room. When Dazai's eyes met his, Chuuya looked away and could feel how his cheeks got warmer and his heart skipped a beat.
Fuck, Chuuya thought. This guy looked even more handsome than on his photos. How am I supposed to work with him when I can't even concentrate on a simple meeting? Chuuya risked another glimpse on Dazai but the bandaged man just smiled at him and waved almost not visible with his hand. Chuuya wasn't sure if that was a try of flirting or messing around with him.

WIP Week 2019 [Day 6]
Question: What is your favorite comment you’re received on any of your fan works (WIP or Complete)?
It’s not an actual comment or anything but I’m always happy if people like what I wrote specially for them! <3 I’m always super nervous about that ;w;
Your Most Popular WIP
Fandom: Bungou Stray Dogs Shipping: Soukoku [Chuuya Nakahara x Osamu Dazai] Notes: My most popular online WIP is my School AU “Between Lies and Love” but offline it is the Civilian Chuuya x Mafia Boss Dazai AU. I once wrote a chapter 1 for the story I planned! [WIP: 18th Sep. 2018]
Shifting the two small bags from one hand to the other, Chuuya left the convenience store. He held his free hand in front of his face to protect it from the autumn sun shining right into his eyes. An old lady entered the shop while he stood in front of the entrance and he greeted her with a friendly smile. She responded with a nod and then she was out of sight. Starting his way home, he stepped forwards. Luckily the way was short, he would not even need ten minutes home, because he hated letting his daughter alone at home.
Chuuya passed a few other stores and looked through the shop windows before he turned into a lost alleyway to shortcut his way home. The moment, he wanted to walk around the corner, to get back to the main street, Chuuya bumped against someone else. He stumbled a step backwards, his hand holding his hat and looked up. "I'm-", he wanted to apologize but he stopped when he felt the murderous glare on him.
"Where are you looking, you bitch?" His gaze wandered over Chuuya and the man was at least two heads taller than him and behind him where two other guys with a similar building. All three were staring at Chuuya and then their eyes suddenly lightened up in a way, Chuuya couldn't describe, when they looked at each other.
"Boss, I think he-" The only blond one under the men spoke up but before he could finish his sentence, he laid straight on the floor, a man with black hair and a completely black outfit standing him, pressing his face down on the street with his booted food.
After that, another man appeared in the alleyway and looked around, seemingly to analyze the situation they were in. His hair was brown and he was wearing all black too. Then his gaze fell on Chuuya and a smile appeared on his face but that didn't quite catch his eye - the other one was covered under bandages. Chuuya looked straight back at him when the man started to speak with a really soft voice. "You should leave for the best."
The man who arrived a few seconds before him grabbed his arm and wanted to pull him out of the alleyway but Chuuya snatched out of the grip. "He is right, leave this place." His voice sounded less patient with Chuuya and his glare was his dark eyes sent chills down his spine because he never saw someone looking so angry at him for literally no reason.
"You two are pretty full of yourselves," Chuuya said and dodged a fist from the man he bumped into a few moments ago and with a smooth movement, he threw him over his shoulders, his bags clashing against his own body. "It's a three on three if I join you." He put the two groceries bag aside and rolled the sleeves of his sweatshirt jacket up like he was doing that as an everyday duty.
The other two men of his spontaneous formed group are exchanging looks but the moment the brown-haired man shrugged his shoulders, the other one exhaled exasperated and rolled his eyes. He didn't seem amused about him joining the battle but the other man probably had the upper hand about decisions between them.
It wasn't like the other three men gave them any other opportunities to discuss their further on-goings because the blond one, having now a bloody and bruised nose, attacked the black-haired man and was complaining about how he could dare to destroy his beautiful face and he would definitely pay for it.
"Don't stay in the way, Chibi~" The brunette said, laying one hand on his shoulder. With a feathery jump and his hands in his pockets, he kicked the until now unharmed third man right into his face and tossed him against the wall.
"Hah, as if!" Chuuya exclaimed and jumped over Dazai's shoulder by supporting himself on his shoulder with one arm and knocking out the one man he bumped into by kicking both of his feet in his face probably breaking one or two of his teeth. He himself landed elegantly like a kitten on his feed in a crouching position. Behind his back, the black-haired man punched the third one on the ground before he was able to attack Chuuya from behind.
The one the bandaged man had kicked, got up from the ground and ran towards Chuuya and the other man. His attacks were easy to dodge for Chuuya but the other one got his fist right into his face. Chuuya snickered and let the enemy trip over his long leg. "So? Who's standing in the way, huh?" Chuuya teased him with a smirk on his face.
"Don't be so cocky just because you broke a few teeth out of him," he answered and held his cheek with his hand. He rubbed over it and spout a few pained groans. "That was nothing."
Chuuya only shrugged his shoulders as an answer and turning his back to him. "You have to know." With fast movements, he ran towards one of the enemies and hit one of them with his fist. Through his blood ran only adrenaline at the moment - it almost felt like fighting back then in his High School days. "Look out!"
Hearing the shouting of Mister Angry Boy, Chuuya turned around only to dodge a thrown brick last second. Though, Chuuya lost his momentum and fell backwards on his butt. "Ohw." He rubbed the aching area and with a back-flip, he got up from the dirty ground, dusting off his hands and pants. The bandaged man laughed. "Clumsy, aren't we?"
A slight blush appeared on his cheeks and he clicked with his tongue. "At least I don't need ten kilometer bandages."
It took them a few more kicks and punches before these three idiots were beaten and weren't able to get up from the ground, groaning from pain of there broken bones. They looked miserable and a look on his watch told Chuuya, the fight didn't take long, just a few minutes. He dusted his clothes off and turned towards the other two. "Though-" He turned around to the place he expected his groceries to be but the bandaged man - with the black-haired man behind him - already gave him the bags. "Thank you." He took them with a huffy movement. "I'll have to go."
Only turning around, when he felt the grip of the other man around his wrist.
“What's your name?"
Confused, Chuuya looked at him and raised an eyebrow at him and the smile irritated him even more. "Nakahara. Nakahara Chuuya," he introduced himself and when the grip around his wrist loosened, he let his arm sink down. It wouldn't hurt when these two men knew about his name, the chances that he would meet them again were pretty much against zero anyway.
"It was nice to meet you, Chuuya~" The man said and the way he drew every single syllable of his name gave Chuuya goosebumps. "Right, Akutagawa-kun?" Akutagawa just glared at Chuuya and didn't respond in any way.
"Yeah, yeah- whatever you say, Mister Bandage." Chuuya shook his head while rolling his eyes and was about to leave the alleyway. He had really no interest in getting caught by the police for the brawl and he left his daughter alone at home for more time than he was comfortable with. "I really have to leave, I hope you clean that shit up here."
“We do." Akutagawa snapped and went to the dead looking bodies, kicking them with his feet like they were worthless trash. "There was no reason for you to interfere anyway."
"It's not like I expect a thank you." Chuuya rolled his eyes and turned towards the bandaged man. "Just to make things complete. What's your name?", Chuuya asked a little curious which men chased through the town to beat a group of punks up. Of course, he was aware of his help without asking for any reasons but he didn't help especially them out rather he wouldn't come out without fighting.
"Dazai," he answered and his lips still formed this stupid unreadable smile.
"Then- whatever you do with them- Have fun?" Without waiting for an answer, Chuuya left the alleyway and sped his steps up to get home fast. He only went groceries shopping because he needed some stuff for his daughter otherwise he wouldn't even have left the apartment on his day off.
It didn't take long until he was in his own four walls again and put away the things that survived the fight. A few things, like the eggs he bought for his dinner, didn't survive. After he had put the few things away, he walked into his daughter's small room. "Little princess, I'm home," he greeted her and listened. She was still asleep so Chuuya just walked in with the light of the hall to not wake her up.
Her chubby, light red cheeks, the light orange hair, still thin and short. Her pink babygrow with cute sheep on it he bought for her first birthday a few weeks ago - all made her so adorable and Chuuya smiled at her. She was all the trouble worth.
The growl of his stomach made Chuuya realize that he should eat something because he didn't eat since hours. A look on his phone told him it was dinner time anyway. He sighed, gave Aya a kiss on her forehead and left her room. It wouldn't take long until she would wake up to get her food too.
On his way to the kitchen he answered a message from his friend Tachihara and in the kitchen he put on the playlist of his favorite rock band while doing dishes and turning on the rice cooker. After what had happened, Chuuya wasn't in the mood to cook so he would go simple with rice and stir-fried vegetables.
The moment he put his plate down on the table, he heard Aya's cry. It took him only a few seconds to get next to her bed and take her out of it to comfort her. "Sssh- Everything is fine, little princess," he whispered while he rocked her in his arms. He hummed her favorite melody and until she calmed down.
Aya grabbed Chuuya's longer hair strands with her short, thick fingers and put them into her mouth, drooling on them.
"They aren't food, Aya." Cautiously he put his hand around his own hair and freed it from the biting with her small baby teeth. "What does my little princess wish to eat?", he asked her and put his hair behind his shoulder before Aya was able to grab them again. As an answer, he only got cooing and giggling sounds. "So you want some vegetables from your papa?" When the little girl hid her face on Chuuya's neck, he put his hand in her hair and ruffled her short locks, smiling.
With his daughter in his arms, Chuuya left the room and entered the kitchen. While his stomach growled for food, he put Aya in her high chair, belted her up and prepared some food she was able to eat with her fingers like she loved doing over the last two weeks. A lot of it landed on herself but it was a really cute picture when she grabbed the food and put it into her mouth while her eyes shone like the sun itself. Chuuya took a few photos of her with his phone before he started to eat next to her.
If he overlooked the fight he had today, he really had a peaceful life he couldn't complain about. Of course, there was no place for a lot of luxury with having to take care of a one-year-old child and being a single-parent but he loved her with all he had and would give up everything for her.

WIP Week 2019 [Day 4]
Question:  What is your favorite fanwork in any of your fandoms created by someone else?
Wrapped up in You by @quinnlocke
This is my most favorite fic and you probably get sick hearing it </3
Your Favorite WIP
Fandom: Bungou Stray Dogs Shipping: Soukoku [Chuuya Nakahara x Osamu Dazai] Notes: It’s an AU I created together with my lovely @karkey and it means a whole lot to me! <3 I started to write on Chapter 1 a little but I didn’t get far yet :c [WIP: 17th May 2019]
Actually, there exists an older WIP but I don’t want to share it without any context to what is happening in the story! ^^
Summary: Chuuya wants to graduate from High School without any other major incident. Dazai wants to get his teaching license at the same school Oda teaches.
That Dazai has to teach the lost hope students with Chuuya repeating a class makes it difficult for both of them.
"Chuuya-kun."
The voice was deep and familiar. He turned around while Atsushi still was busy getting into his shoes. "Oda-sensei," he greeted his homeroom teacher from last year and bowed slightly with his head. The only teacher he got along last year. He looked to the other tall man next to him and his eyes widened in surprise.
"It's nice to see you hear again. I hope you get along with your new classmates and your teachers." He looked towards the man next to him and scratched the back of his head. "Guess you will know over the year." Chuuya smiled at them and nodded, Atsushi appearing behind him and greeting both of their teachers.
"Oda-sensei, Dazai-sensei!"
"Hello, Atsushi-kun." Oda nodded at him and brushed his reddish hair out his own face. "It's nice to see you again, too." He looked to both students. "Do your best this year. I know you can do it."
Chuuya knew this words were directed a little bit more towards him than to Atsushi but the youngest in the group bowed anyway and thanked him, told Oda, he would try his best. "I will too," Chuuya said and looked at his new teacher. who was watching him the whole time. "But we have to leave now." Chuuya waved at his teachers and turned around, pushing Atsushi with him. Somehow the intense stare of Dazai made him shiver.
"Goodbye!" Atsushi called back and waved at them too.

WIP Week 2019 [Day 5]
Question: What is your most used AO3 tag?
I guess it’s the shipping tag for Soukoku/both of them as characters + fluff
Your Canonverse or AU WIP
Fandom: Bungou Stray Dogs Shipping: Soukoku [Chuuya Nakahara x Osamu Dazai] Notes: I don’t have any canonverse WIPs so I wanna show you one of my Fantasy AU WIPs, I decided to make for the SKK Trope Bingo but it got too big with the idea so I created my own world for it. The WIP is the very first chapter and I hope you enjoy it <3
The darkness of the room was only broken with one almost burnt-down candle and a deep sigh was the only sound when a young man with orange hair let the red wax drop down on the envelope only to imprint his seal on it a second later. He couldn't tell how many hours have passed since he was working on that letter in front of him but it was a incredible relief having it done now. He closed his clear blue eyes and when he breathed in, he opened them again. "Atsushi?"
The door was opened soundlessly and a white haired man with a single black hair strain appeared in the door frame. He had a nervous look on his face and swallowed hard. The atmosphere in the room was heavy and usually, he wasn't allowed to enter this room. "How can I help you, Chuuya?"
Chuuya got up from his cushioned wooden chair with the letter in his hand and walked over to Atsushi. "You have to bring this letter to Kouyou." He reached the letter to Atsushi but he didn't take it from him right away.
"Why me?", he asked and frowned at the pitch-black envelope with the dark red wax seal on it. It hadn't any name written on the outside and the wax looked like a drop of blood. Chuuya had a meaning look in his eyes. "Are you sure? You-You worked the last five hours on it." Atsushi swallowed again. "It has to be super important!"
"Exactly." Chuuya held the letter closer to his friend and looked at him with raised eyebrows. "You're the only person I can entrust this letter with." With shaky hands, Atsushi took the letter and was anxious about bending the envelope by accident. "Can't you go yourself?"
Shaking his head, Chuuya laid a hand on Atsushi's shoulder. "I already told you I have to travel the opposite direction today." Chuuya knew it was not an easy task to ask from his friend because even after all those years, he felt uncomfortable around Kouyou. "If you want you can take Akutagawa with you." A resigning sigh made Chuuya chuckle quietly. "Also Kyouka would be happy to see you again after all those months."
"If you want to see me dead, just say so." Atsushi groaned and squashed the letter in his hands. "Wah-! I-I am sorry." He tried to flatten it between his hands and pressed it between them.
"You're my best friend, I just want the best for you," Chuuya answered with a fond smile and patted Atsushi's head.
Atsushi licked over his dry lips and pressed them into a thin line. "Okay, you won. But do you really think it's a good idea to start your journey today?" With a doubtful and insecure look, he left the room together with Chuuya. "It's New Moon in three days, you know."
"I know." Chuuya was more aware of the lunar cycle than any other person he ever met in his life and the mere thought made his stomach twist in loops. "But I'll meet up with Dazai in-" He stopped mid-sentence, not sure about how much time was left until he would meet up with this shitty mummy but it couldn't be that long anymore. "And you know about Dazai's ability."
Another sigh followed as an answer. "How are you able to trust him?" Atsushi looked at Chuuya and tried to read his facial expression but even with his better vision at night, he wasn't able to interpret it.
Chuuya just shrugged with his shoulders. "Is it trust? We just both have the same goal and Dazai needs someone to do the tiring and stressful work for him."
"I can't change your mind, right?" Chuuya didn't answer anything and that was answer enough for the other man. "I'm not sure if Kouyou will kill me for letting you go so easily or because I'll spend time with Kyouka." He sounded distraught and the 'Probably both' of Chuuya didn't help to calm him down. "Chuuya! Can't you take me with you and send someone else as messenger?" Despair was written all over his face when he stopped and turned around to Chuuya who fell a step back. "I'm still too young to die!"
"Sorry." Chuuya looked with a apologetic smile at Atsushi and grabbed the diagonal belt of his leather bag with both of his hands. It only contained a few things he would need on the journey and his savings. "I have to depend on you for this." He would go to Kouyou personally if it would be possible especially because he didn't see her for a few months either but the new clue he got from Dazai yesterday was more important.
"Then you have to promise me something!" Atsushi held out his pinky with a pretty long nail and looked at Chuuya with a serious expression. "Bring Dazai and yourself home alive!"
"Can't promise I don't kill this shithead." Atsushi's gaze didn't waver and let Chuuya flinch backwards. Of course, Chuuya knew how much Atsushi looked up to Dazai even though he lived with Chuuya but his own relationship with Dazai was tense - to say the least. Chuuya hesitated with intertwining their fingers. "An Isud can't die anyway." He didn't met Atsushi's gaze but he intertwined their pinkies. And of course, Atsushi was aware that Chuuya was only a dirty Halfblood and his last slentence was meant for both Dazai and him. Chuuya himself never tested his limits but he had the power of two races in him so it should be no problem to get back alive.
"Oh, Dazai!" Atsushi exclaimed happily and ran towards the man, leaving Chuuya behind and breaking his depressive line of thoughts. His inner beast shouldn't be a solution.
It was only natural that Atsushi would see Dazai first thanks to his night vision and Chuuya had to rely on the candle in his hand. When he arrived at Dazai shortly after Atsushi- standing casually in the entrance of his cottage in the woods outside of the town, he greeted him only with a half-nod of his head.
"Long time no see, Chuuya~", Dazai chirped and hugged him tightly as a greeting. His eyes lightened up when he saw Chuuya. "Atsushi already told me that you are so cruel to send him to Kouyou."
Chuuya struggled to get free from the hug and only managed to do so with throwing Dazai over his own shoulder. Despite him being smaller, he was physically stronger than this clingy ocotopus. "We saw each other yesterday!" Then he threw a look to Atsushi who took a few steps backwards under the glare.
A loud growl interrupted them and confused, Chuuya and Atsushi looked at Dazai. "What was that?", the youngest among them asked and ran outside. "Woah! Rad!"
Curious, Chuuya followed the other two man outside and even without a night vision he could clearly see what was in front of him.
Two majestic and bulky beasts. One of them was the purest white while the other was a the darkest black Chuuya has ever seen in his life. They had fluffy fur around their necks and ankles and the eyes of them were a bloody red. The fluffiness of them was destroyed with their huge fangs and horns. Chuuya took a few steps backwards and was overwhelmed. Seeing Beastmares was something happening not everyday because they were almost extinct. Their fur was the most prized thing in the whole Yishtair Empire.
"May I introduce-" Dazai pointed with his whole hand to the white Beastmare and smiled like he would introduce his cousin to Chuuya. "Phinya and-" He pointed with his other hand to the black one: "Zeraphin."
Like they knew he was talking about them, they growled. It sounded different than before but Chuuya couldn't tell if that was a good or rather a bad sign. His brain still wasn't able to give him words to speak so he just stared at the Beastmares in silence. They were beautiful creatures usually living in the woods of Evirm. Chuuya never had the chance to see them in natural and only read about them in different books and heard stories from Kouyou when he was younger. And to be honest, they were even more striking than any poem could describe them.
"I hope that's okay for your picky ass, Chuuya~" Dazai stepped closer to Chuuya and pointed at the white beast. "Phinya will be all yours for the time being." The white one growled and stepped closer to Chuuya and he took a step back. They were just fucking huge! Maybe three meters high.
Chuuya swallowed when the beast bowed in front of him and laid down, the head on its front paws. Slowly Chuuya got forward to Phinya and without letting his eyes off of it, he put his hand on its snout. It felt really soft but when it suddenly licked over his hand with its tongue, Chuuya flinched back and fell flat on his ass.
Dazai laughed. "She likes you."
So 'it' was a she? A beautiful pure white lady. However, Chuuya would almost bet his life that she wasn't even close to being pure as much as her fur color. "Can I too?" Atsushi's eyes sparkled like the stars on the sky and Dazai just shrugged with his shoulders.
"You're a beast yourself, they probably smelled you from ten kilometers apart." Dazai gave a command with his index finger to let Zeraphin come closer too. "Odasaku told me, they are siblings and about three years old."
That was pretty young for Beastmares, Chuuya thought immediately. "So you got them from Oda?", Chuuya asked and a strange feeling let his stomach spun around like crazy but he put the blame on his nervousness around the beasts. He got closer to Phinya again and she grunted happily? At least it sounded like a happy sound she gave through her nose. "You're beautiful," he praised her and stroked his hand through her long neck fur while Atsushi did the same with Zeraphin.
Atsushi was always good with all kind of creatures because with his tiger genes he bonds with them before Chuuya could even think about getting closer to any of them.
Phinya laid her head sideways in Chuuya's tiny hand and clearly enjoyed the share of kindness and affection of Chuuya.
Chuuya looked up when Dazai suddenly appeared next to him. "Don't make me jealous, Chuuya~" He sat down next to the other man and stroked through the fur of Phinya.
"What are you talking about?", Chuuya asked confused and looked at Dazai for a moment before the beast girl snuffed to get his attention back. For a moment, Dazai hesitated with an answer, like he had to overthink his chosen words. "She hated me in the beginning."
While in the background was Atsushi's lighthearted laugh, playing with the black beast, Chuuya had a shit eating grin on his face. "Deserves you right." Phinya's red eyes wandered to Dazai and for a moment they just exchanged looks, before Dazai clapped into his hands and stood up from the ground.
"Time to go."
Chuuya sighed. What a sudden change in the air. "Yeah." There was no time to play around. Atsushi's sad face when he said goodbye to his two new friends was gut-wrenching and Chuuya put a hand on his shoulder after he hastily rushed to Dazai and Chuuya. "I don't know when were back-" Chuuya looked over to Dazai who was pretending to not listen. "But as long as Kouyou receives the letter, everything is fine."
Atsushi hugged Chuuya goodbye. "I'll take care of everything." He didn't sound convinced but Chuuya believed in Atsushi nevertheless. After that, Atsushi walked over to Dazai who was already sitting on Zeraphin. "Please don't make Chuuya angry too often. I don't think Kouyou's anger is a painless way to die." Taking a few steps back, he watched the two majestic beasts and the two men on them, walking away.
Phinya had Chuuya let stay on her front paw and from there he jumped on her fluffy back. One last time he turned around to Atsushi. "Please take care of you and give Kouyou and Kyouka my greetings."
Before Atsushi could answer, Phinya growled loud and Atsushi blushed. "I-You! Please take care of Chuuya, Phinya!" Atsushi had the ability to talk with the animals living in the Yishtair Empire. The last thing Atsushi heard before they were out of is vision was another growl of Phinya.

WIP Week 2019 [Day 3]
Question:  What fanwork would you most like to receive as a gift?
Probably anything that is inspired by my stuff? I’m always happy to inspire people to do their own works <3
Your previously unpublished WIP:
Fandom: Bungou Stray Dogs Shipping: AtsuKyou (Atsushi Nakajima x Kyouka Izumi] Notes: I started this with a Fantasy AU in my mind but had different ideas on what Kyouka would want to tell Atsushi. [WIP: 3rd May 2019]
Atsushi wasn't sure how he ended up in this situation.
Only a few moments ago he was walking along the beach coast in the middle of the night because he wasn't able to calm his mind down and now he was staring into two beautiful eyes.
Due to the darkness, he wasn't able to tell their color but he was still fascinated by how bright they sparkled in the moonlight.
"Who are you?" The voice was surprisingly different than he had imagined it to be- when did he even have the time to form a thought about it? "Who are you?", she asked again after a few moments Atsushi didn't answer her.
"A-Atsushi," he answered the girl in front of him and could feel how his heart beat nervously against his rib cage. It was rare for him to interact with girls, even more having them so close to him.
The girl tilted her head and put her slim finger on her lips. "Sounds like food," she stated bluntly and got a few steps back. "You shouldn't wander around here at this time."
Confused, Atsushi looked at her. "What do you mean?" Sure, he was new in this town and didn't know much about it yet but what should be dangerous? He didn't even have anything with him that could be of value for robbers. It probably was way more dangerous for her to be outside this late than it was for him.
"The ocean is dangerous at night."
Atsushi watched the girl's face and how it turned sad while looking over the vast ocean in front of them. The wind made her shiver slightly and Atsushi regretted not putting on a jacket he could offer her now. He stepped next to her. "Do-Do you want to talk about it?" He couldn't tell where this question was coming from but her eyes looked incredibly sad.
She turned her face towards Atsushi and smiled, obviously it wasn't reaching her eyes which sparkled differently now, not as bright anymore. "You would listen to some stranger?"
"You can tell me your name," Atsushi said and tried to smile encouragingly at her but even he could feel that he failed with it, the wind blowing his hair in his face. Struggling to keep it behind his ear, he blushed slightly when the girl chuckled. "I-I mean- if you want, of course!"
"Kyouka," she answered and looked back at the ocean. "And you wouldn't believe my story." She brushed a few loosened hair strands behind her ears and stopped in the movement, holding her hands right above her ears.
Letting himself fall down on the sand, Atsushi patted the area right next to him. "You didn't try yet and you have the whole night to convince me."
Kyouka looked down at Atsushi and hesitated for a few moments.
The nervousness of having stepped over a line he didn't know existed yet, grew within the young man and he averted his eyes. "Only- You don't-" But before he finished his sentence, the girl was sitting next to him, playing with one of her tails.
Now looking at Atsushi with an eager glare, he flinched back a few centimeters. Her eyes definitely where a strong side of her - on so many different levels. "Promise me to not tell anyone you know!" She held out her pinky finger and obviously expected him to agree on the promise the same way.

Update from @vespaer77 ! Read the first two chapters of this and see if you aren't hooked! I particularly like how she writes Hux! 😀
It’ll become canon divergent, I suppose, if I can’t finish it before Dec this year (which… I’m not sure will happen even if it’s a soft goal).
