Refusing to accept this twist of fate after the universe fell apart, Tony retreated to solitude while Bucky kept his final promise to his best friend stepping up to lead the team as Captain America in Steve's absence. With Tony away from the team, Bucky does his best to find a way to turn things around for those left behind mourning the loss of those they loved. Determined not to let his best friend down, Bucky discovers a crack in the universe that could bring back those they'd lost. However, to accomplish saving the world, Bucky realizes he needs Tony to do it putting these reluctant soulmates in each other's orbit all over again despite their promise to stay far from one another in denying the soulmate bond between them. Will they be able to put aside their their struggles long enough to bring those they lost back into the world around them while fighting the undeniable attraction between them along the way?

What are all these winteriron events you wonderful people are thinking about doing? What's the difference between the various types of events?

Are ylu asking about the Winteriron Big Bang/Reverse Big Bang thread?

A Big Bang is a fandom event where authors start planning a story (in winteriron bb’s case, one that focuses on winteriron, tho there are other bigbangs such as stony and cap and other fandoms). After the planning period the mods post summaries of those stories for artists to claim. Each artist is paired with the author of theor claimed story, and as the author writes the artist draws accompanying art. I think the word count goal for a bigbang is 15 or 20k? I cant remember. The art goal is 2 pieces i think? You can find the winteriron big bang at @winterironbang

A Reverse Big Bang is where the artist drafts a picture or art piece that an author can claim. The author is then paired with the artist and writes something inspired by the art.

A mini bang or mini reverse bang is the same but with smaller word counts.

A bingo is a fun prompt game. The host/mods make bingo cards with tropes and challenges on it for the recipient to play with. The goal is to get a bingo of filled prompts. For example, if one of the squares had “winteriron: secret identity” id try to write or draw something that would fill that promlt and try to fill out a row, column or diagonal of prompts for a bingo! You can shoot for a blackout (filling the whole card) if you want

The spring fling and the holiday exchange work like secret santas. You sign up and are given a giftee who has a little prompt of wish list and you get to make them a winteriron themed fic and/or art. In return someone else will be making you a gift!!

The springfling is already done for this year as far as i know but i think the bang might still.be looking for artists???? Idk

Our new tentative final date for posting is July 1st, 2024.
