oof i know the fashion dreamer event is starting soon and i was gonna post more thoughts, but ill wait to see how the first event plays out. the worst being i wont be able to grind on my lunch break since its online only otz aside from the event it does feel a lil bit like some of these features were cut then added later. i cant tell for time or whatever but at least they are coming so soon later than later. im also talking about the lookbook and muse/npc/whatever catalog not the new items/shit related to the event.

I def feel like this game might be like acnh that after support it will feel like a "complete" game with the additional features/game modes. i do hope before they end support or somehow the limit events become reoccuring/other ways to get items later. I hoping that they get added to solo mode somehow so those with shitty/limited internet could still get the items even if they are rng. i am assuming well still be able to "like" to get the items so it will be fuinny everyone wearing the same uniform online due to liking if each other.

even if im "complaining" i am excited for the event esp for that butterfly frame and wings.

Tunnel vision

I get such tunnel vision when something grabs my interest, I focus on that thing so much to the point of making my brain feel exhausted. Honestly, it's kind of a problem. I shouldn't push my brain's energy capacity to its limit all the time.

Lately, that has been with games. But I hope I can direct that hyperfocus into art one day once again, but learn to pace myself better so I don't exhaust my brain and burn out again.

At least I've got to play a lot of games during my art burnout (which started around mid 2020 or the start of 2021), a bunch of these games were on my to-do list but didn't have time to play and it feels very good to have gotten through them.

I want to finally build a proper zoo in Planet Zoo, it's not a game that goes well together with creative burnout since it requires creativity to build stuff in it. So I haven't been able to give it the attention it deserves.

I've already decided that 2023 will be another gaming year. I'm almost all the way through my to-do list of games, and after that, I'll assess what I want to do next.

Jeepers Creepers 🪓 (ACNH Halloween - Day 23)

🎶 Jeepers Creepers, where’d ya get those peepers? 👀 What a creepy yet fabulous song that plays at the end of a very eerie, intriguing, and terrifying movie! 🫣 I think The Creeper is one of the best monsters/demons/killers (whatever he is) in any horror movie. I think what’s so fascinating about him is that he looks sort of like a human…. but then you realize he has claws and wings and razor…

Me now: There is no blood in my veins, only pure adrenaline. I'm aware I could drop all of my tools and resources besides my net and get a few more but I don't think my heart could handle that.

Wait, there was like, wings and back accessories you could wear in Pocket Camp right?

Will that come under the 'backpack' section or as a new kind of accessory in New Horizons? I've not noticed any new kind of back/waist accessory option yet apart from what appeared to be a friendship-bracelet looking thing in one of the crafting menus that I distinctly remember seeing in early trailers

some of my simmosa headcanons:

amy does the aster flores thing where she has a look for whenever she wants to be kissed.

jonah has letterboxd. he also runs an account for amy (named “my girlfriend amy” which appropriately gets changed to “my wife amy” once they get married) that blows up because she has funny things to say about films but no patience to document them. meanwhile his account has the patron tier, over a thousand films logged, and cleverly articulated reviews with meticulous ratings but only 9 followers.

amy wore the ring that jonah stole to get her measurements a lot while she was in california. mostly as a reminder of the mistake she’ll inevitably understand that she made but also because it’s strangely comfortable to have on.

jonah started a podcast right after the breakup. he stopped recording episodes after accidentally letting marcus move in with him and i’ve got no idea what it would be about but i think he would set up the stupidly costly mic that he bought online in front of amy’s plants and pretend they were his audience.

amy gets super into video games again over the pandemic. in between binge watching shows and attending corporate meetings, she becomes a real acnh woman, much to the dismay of emma. when she and jonah get back together, she forces him to play lovers in a dangerous spacetime. they kill it at that game in spite of whatever argument might ensue.

a list of some shows i think jonah has watched: succession, severance, the west wing, the wire, lost, black mirror, charmed.

the recall room stayed even after they converted cloud 9 into a fulfillment center since no one else knew about it, so amy and jonah still sneak in there sometimes for the fun of it. when they visit dina and the others for the first time, they disappear after ten minutes and everybody thinks they either got lost or crushed by some packages. (let’s be honest, they’re having another town hall moment.)

couples costumes they would do: elizabeth and philip jennings, climate change (she’s a polar bear and he’s a melting ice cap), romeo and juliet (specifically from the baz luhrmann movie obviously, though this is based off an original script of the pilot that has a nod to the fish tank scene, even though it was actually between jonah and dina but that is not important.)

so they’ve both always absolutely been bi to me. it’s an unspoken thing at work for jonah, so amy is the first person he actually tells, voices aloud that this is who he is a person, and that’s what she’s signing up for when they finally start dating. and it gets gears turning in her head. this is a lot of projection on my end but i think amy looks back at the women she filed away as formative role models in her head and wonders whether there was something more there. remembers how she always thought someone like missy jones looked so gorgeous but thought that had more to do with being blinded by her talent. jonah helps amy figure out her feelings for women once he finds out she thought staring at them all the time was a normal thing to do.

they have the same taste in people. i have a whole episode made up in my mind about them figuring this out and the discovery spiraling to the point that they have everybody in the break room naming truly anyone to see if they both have a crush on the person or not. they have multiple whiteboards with the most complicated system ranking countless celebrities and the whole thing ends when jonah asks amy if she actually finds him attractive but she successfully avoids giving him an answer by making out with him. she does btw but she would never tell him because it would go to his head immediately and he would never let her live it down.

amy wearing name tags with different names every single day is her way of playing around with gender but nobody is ready for that conversation yet.

Clingy Sleeper reader

Bokuto Koutarou

Yall are chilling in his bed.

Bokuto’s relaxing watching some random show on the tv. He thinks you’re watching it with him so he keeps making little comments.

“Oh I love this part (y/n)”

“Haha I love that character so much”

He went to stand up a couple hours into your relaxation but he’s pulled down by some force

He looks down and spots you.

You have your hands clutched into his shirt, wrapped around the fabric so tight your knuckles are going white.

Your face is buried into his chest, drool slipping from the corner of your mouth as you nap happily.

“(Y/n) I need to peeeee” he whines down at you

You just mumble something incoherent and slowly loose his shirt. You roll over in your sleep and instead snuggle into the duvet letting out a big sigh as you settled back into your slumber.

Sakusa Kiyoomi

He’s sitting up in his bed with you at his side.

His laptop is resting on his lap and he’s typing up an essay for Modern Japanese Literature while you’re bundled up beside him.

He was honestly just vibing while typing it up, he can hear your heavy breathing so he already knows you’re asleep.

But when he goes to move to get water he is surprised to find you clinging onto him like a lonely koala

He’s trying to remove your fingers from his shirt without waking you but to no avail

“You go back to sleep princess I’m just getting some water”

“Hnnnnggg, can you get me some please omi?”

“Sure thing” he pets you head quickly before walking over to his desk and sanitising his hands

He really did that huh?

Kuroo Tetsurou

I WILL STICK TO THIS HEADCANNON UNTIL I DIE

Yall we’re watching Saiki K, you’d had a long day at school and that evening all you wanted to do was vibe and eat snacks and drink tea.

You lasted about 15 minutes before you passed out.

Kuroo was just watching the show, like Bokuto, making small commentary here and there.

“Gah, justice for nendo”

“Ahhh it’s the jet black wings”

“Chibi-channn I’m gonna get us some more snacks, what do you want?” He brushed your hair back from your face and saw your eyes scrunched closed.

Your hands where bundled up in his shirt, holding the fabric close to his nose

“Oh I guess I’m not going to get more snacks right now”

He settled back into the bed, wrapping his arm around your waist and planting a sweet kiss onto your forehead.

Tendou Satori

We been knew he would just be reading the latest Jump!

He’s like half sat up in his bed with you cuddled into his chest “reading” along with him.

Babey you are out like a light, exhausted from the multitude of quizzes you took.

You were breathing heavy but Tendou was too wrapped up in the story to notice.

He finished the installment around 20 minutes later

He went to roll over to put the book away but some mysterious force was keeping him in his sitting position.

He glanced down at you.

You had the bottom of his t-shirt gripped in your hands, knuckles grazing against his stomach as he tried to move. Your head shook against his chest and you let out a deep breath, waking up for a split second to look up at him.

“You sleep sunshine, you’ve earned it” He pushed your hair back over your forehead, kissing the top of your head before lying down in bed with you, settling in for a long awaited nap

Kozume Kenma

This boy is just VIBING, hes playing acnh and trying to make Harry leave his island by putting him in jail.

He’s like fully sat up in bed, you’re laying next to him just napping to your hearts content.

He felt you move so your head sat at his hip and your right arm snaked over his lap. He thought nothing of it.

Until he came to trying to move.

He was getting up to turn his switch off so he could actually spend some time with you. Insane.

However you had over ideas, your nose nuzzled into his hip while your right hand gripped his shirt harder, pulling the far side of it closer to you.

You honestly had a death grip on him at this point, like he could not go anywhere.

He poked your cheek, then your nose, gently nudging you awake.

“(y/n) do you wanna scoot up the bed and get comfy?” 

you hummed under your breath and moved up so your head was on top of the pillow.

Kenma hopped into the bed next with you, putting his forehead next to yours and placing sweet kisses onto the tip of your nose.

“Goodnight pretty girl” he mumbled.

Yes the kenma part is based on airy vibe checking and hating on Harry... don’t @ me

Keigo plays with a small part of your hair with a calm smile. His wings are wrapped around the two of you while you sit on his lap, his red feathers protecting you from the rest of the world. Keigo rests is head on your shoulder, watching you click clack away on the joy-cons.

Keigo, being a complete push-over, had bought you a Nintendo Switch when you had asked him. Of course, being the number two hero, he had enough money to get you all the expensive games you wanted, like Pokémon Sword and Mario Cart 8 Deluxe. However you had attached yourself to Animal Crossing: New Horizons, playing it as long as you could before Keigo pulled the console out of your hands.

Keigo, having got you what you asked for, asked for affection in return. Of course, you accepted. So you’ve been sitting on his lap for probably an hour and a half at this point, your legs are falling asleep but you continue playing, selling your turnips for the hot price of five hundred bells.

Keigo truly wasn’t interested in the game you were playing, probably because he never played video games as a child. Keigo just wanted to cuddle you, so he just cuddled you and listened to your sweet voice while you explained your favorite game.

“It’s you” You giggle, moving your in-game-character to face a villager in the game who was a chicken. Keigo playfully pouts “I am not a chicken” He chuckles, you’re to cute. You lean back more into his chest, now leaning more to the side so that you can rest your cheek on his chest. Keigo now rests his head on top of yours continuing to watch you play.

“Yes, you are! You’re a chicken!” You giggle to yourself. Keigo lets out a dramatic gasp, before using his feathers to tickle your sides, causing you to burst out in laughter. “Ah! Ok, ok! You’re not a chicken! Have mercy!” You laugh loudly, before collapsing against his chest. Now that he’s not tickling you, you go back to calmly playing your game.

“You should get a Switch, then we could play together” you say softly, not moving your eyes from the screen. A self-satisfied-smile creeps onto Keigo’s face. He’s so happy with you. You’ve come so far from being scared of him or begging him for freedom. Now, you’re cuddling with him and asking him to play video games with you.

“I don’t play video games, duckling” Keigo states, matter of factly, still resting his head on top of yours. You look up at him with a pout on your face. Keigo can practically feel his heart melting in his chest. You’re eyes, instead of being focused on planting in game flowers, are know focused on his face.

“Well, then I could teach you” you say, looking back down at your console. Well, he can’t argue with that logic. Maybe he will get one, just so he can play with you.
