definitely the most fun you'll have with linux is the first year or so after installing it. its like a whole different world on the Other Side and when you've seen it, you can never quite go back... I remember having my mind blown by really simple/benign things, like manpages. "oh WOW you can read documentation straight from the terminal? and there are thousands of these documents to read, about every command on the system?!". same w/ package managers, which I think for a lot of linux beginners is the first "lightbulb" moment where u realize that you are onto something really special. and don't even get me started on shell piping and bash one-liners... but eventually all that becomes pretty normal, and routine, and less fun once you know all the ropes and the in's and out's. and soon you start to become more and more aware of the creaky, leaky bits of using linux as a desktop os. and without the fun of Learning Linux, for a lot of ppl there isn't much else there. eventually you may find yourself secretly longing to use Windoze or fruitOS again... and I would highly recommend that you give them a shot. past a certain point there isn't any benefit to using one OS over the other, so just use what's comfortable to you. and using Windows or other OS, armed with what u learned from the linux boot-camp is its own kind of fun learning experience

It's February 14 and while my part of Canada is lucky enough not to be buried under feet of snow, it's still -13C out. And yet my PC, which has a "live weather" feature as part of Windoze, is telling me it's humid outside.

TIL that 🍎 is not quite as open and sharing with the Windows world as we might believe. YES - you can install an app called iCloud for Windoze on your PC BUT - for it to work - you need to authorize it from any device you have that is part of the 🍎 eco system.

I was this close to getting a second hand Unoa but then I remembered I have a doll about that size something something and this is a predominantly playscale/littles household.

But I managed to get exactly two Orientdolls when the company was still around. The big one is the same size as Ashton Drake and Tonner dolls, his "default" outfit is Tonner pajamas, and damn I need to take new and better pictures of everyone.

So what I was doing was looking at DOA sales threads. I am half looking for a couple of things, wouldn't mind a tiny-taur or a couple other unusual dolls. Another Dollkot fairy would be great.

What ended up coming out of it was how fugly a lot of the dolls are. And the realization why I don't have that many ball joints in the first place. And if you own anything in the SD range honestly where the hell do you put it? If you came over you'd never know I had 70cm twins right now.
