With the latest SPN fires spreading, I've decided to start throwing my AU ideas into them. Can't be worse than anything we've seen so far! These are things I want to write but have no idea when I'd have the time or energy for. So, first on the list!
Winchester Tango Foxtrot
So there I am, playing Animal Crossing, doing some island tours with Dodo Airlines, and Wilbur says "Ready to take off, November Oscar Whiskey!" (NATO phonetic alphabet, developed for radio communication. Every letter of the English alphabet has an associated word, so he's just saying "NOW".)
Anyway! My brain went "lol November Oscar Winchester" because I'm pathetic like that.
And thus...
Sam and Bobby run a charter flight service on an island in the north Atlantic, with Dean as their mechanic and a general handyman around the island. While on a supply run to the mainland, the brothers rescue an injured man and his infant son (Cas and Jack), and find out Cas is on the run from his brother Lucifer. See, Lucifer is Jack's biological dad, but Cas is the one on the birth certificate because he and Kelly (who died in childbirth) pretended to have an affair so they could keep Jack away from Lucifer.
There's more to the story that I won't hash out here, like Charlie and Kara (or Stevie) wanting to open a BnB on the island, Cas's job restoring old books, Dean's fear of flying, how and why Cas was living with Lucifer and Kelly...but it's a pretty big idea I've been playing with for over a year now.
And I always have more AUs. Like the one where Dean's the brother that left because the demon blood actually had made Sam more driven and volatile and just like their father. Or where Ellen and Jo survived and took Cas in when he became human. Let me know if you want to hear more.

It wasn't even supposed to be a case, they were just tracking demons. Of course, that meant that something was going to happen and they should have known, because of who they are, and nothing else. That and Gwen can't pass up bringing something home that you might never see again.

Random Fact: I may bake once a week these days and I love cooking, but before med school, I wasn’t allowed to cook or bake for myself regularly! My parents felt that cooking was just taking time away from studying and my mother didn’t let me into the kitchen. Even during college I could only afford dorm living with no communal kitchen spaces. I ended up learning how to cook through trial and error, things I recalled growing up, learning from friends, my one aunt who loves cooking, watching cooking shows and reading books.

I have an AU where Sam and Dean run a charter service for an island and on a trip to the mainland they rescue a guy and his kid who ran off the road during a storm (Cas and baby Jack) and further Hijinks Ensue when they learn Jack's biological father has been stalking them across the country.
Maybe someday Winchester Tango Foxtrot will see the light of day 🤣
