Based off the fanfic 'don't you wish you could stare right into the sun?' (also, that's a wooden stake Will is holding)

The fic mentioned Lust for vampyr. That is my favorite song about vampires, so I had to draw this. I love Vampires so much.

Also, sure, Prospero's human anatomy is a bit off, but technically he is a vampire in this, so technically it's fine, he isn't human. Seriously, it was so hard doing this pose

[wip] new years 1984 : the guestbook

The basic premise of this oneshot i'm writing follows as such: there's a party at the Whitlock residence. Every year, they host the New Years party, and everyone has to sign their name in the guestbook. it's an annual tradition. I figured I'd make art to compliment this!

This art will be fully revealed along with the fic, like a tag team almost! I love making art that compliments your own work; not quite a comic but sort of an "extra art" to visualize the event.

it's also the 80s so!

Well, these are my gifts for @eloquentteagoblin. I hope you like them, buddy! I decided to go for the cute part of your preferences and, since I couldn't decide which ship to focus on, I preferred to make a small drabble of White Raven and another one of Willspero.

Nevermore Hollywood AU

2004, Los Angeles. William is from Delaware, but has lived in LA for a while. He’s actually a very well known model.

Well, sort of. He tried to do modeling, but he was never called back. He was considered too plain looking, not really all that eye capturing. His best friend, Ada, jokingly suggests to crossdress and then try a casting call.

It worked. It worked too well, really. Now Will is a cross dressing model who is actually doing well for himself. It’s hard work, but he doesn’t mind having to create a persona to keep his job. He’s good at becoming what others want to see, and he always has been.

His stage name is definitely something ‘elegant’ that Ada picked out like Wilhelmina.

Prospero is a fashion designer who has been struggling to land any good designs into the hands of buyers. He’s been lacking muse, lacking the creative drive that he needs to really come up with something good. He ends up going to a runway event and seeing Wilhelmina, and something about ‘her’ intrigues him. Her eyes are a unique grey, and something about her felt more human than the other women that were posing and playing a part.

And so, he ends up being inspired and coming up with a fantastic dress that gets picked up by a company.

He meets Will out of his persona at a cafe one day and immediately recognizes the eyes. Without hesitating, he asks Will to become his assistant. Prospero is far too intrigued; he has never seen a performer pretend even when off stage and off work. Every single thing Will does seems to be practiced somehow; and he is desperate to pick it all apart. It’s the medical student in him, even though he dropped out…

So now Will is a model pretending to be a woman named Wilhelmina, as well as Prospero’s weird intern assistant thing on the side.

Prospero knows that Will and Wilhelmina are one in the same, and that’s part of the reason why he’s doing this. He knew from the moment he saw Will on stage that he wanted to make clothes specifically for him. But not as a woman- he has far more potential as himself.

So it’s a slow burn thing with Prospero slowly managing to convince Will to become more comfortable with himself without needing to pretend to be this woman he made up. Helping him realize that he’s worth something, and even if nobody saw that, it didn’t matter as long as he himself did. And it’s an added bonus that he’s worth something to Prospero too.

willspero is so fun because. because imagine guy in spinny chair with a dog in their lap to pet. because prospero is so sick of no one heeding his words, and will listens to every sentence like his life depends upon it, and it's nice to have someone that just listens and does what they're told when it comes to lessons ( remember how pissy he got at pluto and morella?). and he would actually have the mind to tell will that he did a good job!! idk im talking nonsesnse

Honestly? It is a little fun to watch a dude just shut up and listen. That's why I like Will, narrative wise. He just does what he's told, every time. He rarely puts up a fight.

As for Willspero itself? I mean. I get it. It's kind of funny.

We have Prospero who is frankly done with everyone's shit; he's the tired, underpaid manager who was transferred to the 2nd floor while his lesbian wine Boss (Annabel, respectively) goes to divorce court for the evening. Will is the only one not actively fucking up.

Does the analogy make sense? I hope it does.

My posts seem to be garnering attention amongst the Nevermore fandom, so hello Nevermore Tumblr! Alongside making drawings and song playlists, I've also written a Nevermore fic. This is surprisingly getting a lot of hits, so thank you to anyone who's read it! I'll definitely be writing more fics in the future, especially Mo^2 ones >:]
