Buffy’s ‘it was fishes’ outfit: 8/10

When I was younger, I thought this outfit was ugly. Now I know that I was obviously stupid. The coat is amazing and it's one of the few times that I can get behind the neck scarf. I also like how the bag matches to the top.

Willow’s 'we saw the zebra’s mating’ outfit: 7/10

It's fine. She looks cute and I do really like the skirt.

Xander’s ‘heimlich with stripes’ outfit: 6/10

Just another basic outfit. The shirt is only okay.

Xander’s ‘weird behaviour award’ outfit: 7/10

Dark colours suit him. I like that this outfit isn't totally out of the ordinary for Xander but still signifies a shift.

The Pack’s ‘hyena makeover’ outfits: 7/10

The same thing goes for the whole pack. We first see all of them, including Xander, in brighter clothes. It's a not-subtle way of saying something has changed.

Buffy's 'training look' outfit: 7/10

It's cute. I think this is the same top as the one she wears to fight Luke in The Harvest but in blue. Also, that jump is just amazing.

Buffy’s ‘mascot herder’ outfit: 6/10

This outfit isn't bad but it is forgettable. It doesn't compare to other Buffy outfits.

Willow’s ‘now I know’ outfit: 8/10

I really like this outfit for Willow. The fit is very nice. I like the bold colour choice because it really works for this episode where she does some standing up for herself by confronting Xander when he's mean to her and being confident when she tricks him in the book cage. It's not crazy out there, but it is a little more than we're used to from her, both in action and clothing.

Xander’s ‘hyena boy’ outfit: 8/10

Even Xander haters have to admit that there is just something about this scene. And we all know it wouldn't have worked if he was sauntering around in some toxic green mushroom shirt. The outfit does exactly what it needs to. (how did I never notice how much he scratches himself..??)

Buffy’s ‘accept no substitutes’ outfit: 8/10

This outfit veers a bit off the path for Buffy with the beenie and the black graphic tee, but matching it with a pink satin mini skirt and knee high boots is totally on brand. She makes it work.

Willow’s ’you ate a pig’ outfit: 6/10

It's whatever. I don't love it.

Xander’s ‘shoot me, stuff me, mount me’ outfit: 7/10

And Xander is back. Those tan pants really were a staple for him in season one. It's a great outfit to show the return to normal.
