My class just finished discussing Othello and we're behind schedule due entirely to my teaching pace and guesstimations at how long the units would take, so I was apologizing but also going, "that does mean that we're getting to Macbeth now, though." And several of my students were openly gleeful and just "YES! MACBETH!"

I didn't expect they'd have such strong feelings, but was like, "yeah, and being so far behind schedule means we're getting witches in October!" And they were also very enthused about witches right now ('tis the season!!) and no less than four sketchy women in one play after so many virtuous ones.
