The   home   of   the   Roses;   Penny   and   her   father   William.   It   was   also   home   to   Charlotte   (   William's   ex-wife   and   Penny's   mother   ),   before   she   left   them   both   when   Penny   was   but   six   months   old.   They   chose   to   stay   in   the   home,   however,   because   Charlotte   is   the   one   who   took   off   elsewhere   and   William   decided   it   would   be   easier   to   raise   Penny   within   a   home   they   were   already   residing   in.   

It's   also   fairly   close   to   work   for   him,   even   if   he   now   spends   more   time   working   from   home   than   in   office.   His   team   also   frequent   the   property   when   he's   working   on   a   case   after   hours,   so   people   are   always   flitting   in   and   out   constantly.   Penny   has   met   quite   a   handful   of   her   fathers   colleagues   and   work   friends   over   the   years.   Also   means   Penny   has   to   busy   herself   outdoors   a   lot.
