Sorry to bother you both, but have you seen (name) anywhere today?" The neighbourhoods favourite artist asked Julie Joyful and Frank Frankly, interupting their conversation.

"Oh sorry wally! I havent seen them at all today! Now that I think about it, they seem quite off the day before, right Frank?" Julie looked back at Frank, looking for some kind of answer

Frank nodded after a bit of thinking and looked at the yellow puppet "why dont you ask Eddie? He's probably delivering mail right now"

Wally thanked the 2 and made his way down to Eddie Dear's post office and asked him the same question.

"Sorry Wally" Eddie started, back facing Wally as he sorted out mails and packages. "I havent seen em today either, I will stop by their house later on, if you want I can report to you what I find"

Wally shaked his head "no that wont be necessary I think I'll just head over to their house instead, thank you Eddie"

You and Wally were suppose to have a painting date around the woods of the neighbourhood, but you never showed up.

After a bit, the yellow puppet arrived at your home and knocked a few times, when there was no answer he started to get worried.

He knocked again "hello~? (Name), its me Wally. Are you alright in there?" No answer

He pondered for a bit then decided to do something

"I'll come inside then (name)"

He entered your house and stood at the entrance, waiting to hear something, anything from you but again no sound can be heard.

Wally went up the stairs to your bedroom and knocked, "(name)? Are you alright?"

He opened your bedroom door slightly and peaked his head in, the sight he saw was you propped up on the floor dozing off with papers scattered around the floor.

Wally walked up to you and crouchrd down, shaking you a bit to wake you up.

You opened your eyes and groaned a bit "wally...? What are you doing here? Were suppose to meet tomorrow..."

"It IS already tomorrow (name), you didnt show up at our meeting place" He answered you with his signature smile and lazy eyes.

Once he said that did you finally gain your senses, you looked around to see the sun shining through your window, then at the clock and back at Wally

He didnt seemed bothered at the slightest, making you feel guilty. "Im... so sorry Wally I didnt- I should have set an alarm! I didnt realised I dozed off last night oh no!"

Wally placed his hand on your head and shaked his head, the smile still on his face "dont worry about it, I was worried something happened to you, speaking of which...whats with all this paper scattered about?"

You scanned the area and finally remembered what you were SUPPOSE to do the night before

"I was... trying to prepare a drawing of the both of us last night.. as a surprise gift to give to you when we meet up..." blush formed around your cheeks (if that was even possible) as you looked down to your hands, slightly embarrassed "none of them looked nice so I kept on trying to draw a better one... i guess I lost track of time and the next thing I knew, I've already fallen asleep"

The yellow puppet laughed at your words, "ha.. ha...ha" some puppets thoight the way he laughed was iffy or strange, but you never thought of it that way, in fact when he laughs, it washes your worries away.

"Oh dear (name) I think all your drawings look lovely, I would have appreciated all of them either way and Im sure you know that" he gave you a closed eyes smile reassuring you, making you smile a bit. He took your hand and stood up "lets just spend the day at your place, you seem pretty tired so lets just relax"

You nodded and lead him to your bed as you layed on it Wally following along.

He attemped to hug you, but ended up limp in the process making you laugh "youve gotten slightly better at this Wally"

"Im glad, the concept of hugging is still strange to me, ha.. ha.. ha..."

Comfortable silence ensued and you started feeling your eyelids drop, before you made your way to dreamland, Wally kissed your forehead and said the following words,

"Have a wonderful trip to dreamland, I'll see you there, Darling."

Ok so I was watching New Moon and the scene where Sam finds Bella in the woods after Edward leaves made me think of werewolf!lestappen.

Like maybe in your blurb about witch!reader almost burning out from overdoing her magic she doesn’t make it back to the house. Instead she’s curled up on the forest floor and Charles and Max are frantically looking all over for her. They end up having to split up to search. Charles is the one to find her but he’s so worried that he can’t switch back in order to carry her. Instead he’s just poking her with his snout while whining at her begging her to wake up. He howls and Max just comes running. Max ends up being the one to carry her home and even though she’s still unconscious she smiles because she knows instinctively that she’s safe. After that the boys don’t let her out of their site for weeks. And that’s also when they make sure they are always with her when she goes to get ingredients in the woods so that they can keep her safe.

the way charles just curls around you protectively until max gets there because you’re cold and it makes him nervous. like he’s so on edge and so ready to fight anything or anyone that approaches, so scared that you’re not going to be okay that he ends up growling at max before he realises it’s actually him

and the way you nuzzle into the warmth. the way you know you’re safe with your boys. and deep down, you know they are gonna have a go at you for going out when your magic was so weak but right now, you just enjoy them taking care of you

and the way charles essentially refuses to leave your side🥹the poor boy is just so scared you’ll never wake up. he knows max says you’ll be fine but he knows he won’t relax until you’re awake. and max knows the best he can do is take care of you both until that happens

Gore: I'm fine with some gore; as long as it isn't like, someone in the middle of being disemboweled we're good

Headcanons: hmmm...

For Skid:

His dislike of cats stems from all cats except black ones not being "spooky". He doesn't mind black cats, but avoids them because they're bad luck

He keeps some pictures of his dad in his room, even if all the faces were already torn out by Lila (I took this from Roy Against Society. Go read it it is very good)

Skid grows out his hair when he's older because he wants it to look more like his mom's

For Pump:

Before his dad got too busy with work, he and Pump would go out into the forest, get a bunch of wood, and then make a fire to roast marshmallows with

Pump deciding on a pumpkin costume is not only from his love of pumpkins, but because he knows his dad dressed as pumpkins as a kid. It makes him feel like he's closer to him, in a way

Skid and Pump met when they were very little, during a playdate set up by Lila and Pump's dad

During sleepovers, they usually end up falling asleep in Skid's bed together because they stayed up late playing video games or watching videos on Skid's phone

The drawing bit is canon BUT: Skid prefers drawing, Pump prefers singing, but both are decently good at the other's interest because they like spending time together and want to be supportive :]

Mmmm yes it is an appropriate time to lore dump I think [<- 1am] SO, I've been kerfuffling about with the star siblings for a while and wondering what kinda story I want to primarily focus on and I realised I was getting wayyy too tied up in having this huge story so I thought about what kinda story I actually /enjoy/ yaknow??

And me I'm a huge sucker of like, smalltown stories about found family and monsters, ergo I introduce the star siblings canon:

The story takes place on earth, our earth, with one tiny tiny difference, monsters are real! Not everyone knows this of course and they very much exist in the state they do here were most ppl believe them fictional, the siblings know better of course. They live in the middle of the woods with their dad who revealed to them the existence of monsters when they were old enough [did not tell them they r the spawn of the queen of monsters tho dw about that 👌] more specifically after Poppy was attacked by a werewolf Harley sat them down and was like "Yeah no that wasn't a weird big wolf that was a monster lol"

He is definitely a sympathiser of monsters [wonder why] and conducts scientific research on them to try and make their lives better. Out of spite towards her dad and also anger towards them Poppy when she became a teenager decided to hunt down local monsters! [String of murders in the local village may push you to that] and Leo joined her because that is his sister and they do this together until things and stuff!

This is also great because I have a trio of ocs who have needed a home who would slot SO perfectly in here

Also, I'm working on a Killer and Nightmare fic, but trying to stick to canon as close as possible. (I don't ship it, but I had an idea and decided to run with it, also, practice), and I was hoping to name each chapter after a song. Do you know of any songs or playlists that would fit the canon duo?
