I'm just putting this out there, because I know I don't post as much on Tumblr or Achieve Of Their Own or any of that, and a lot of that is health reasons.

But I love writing and while that can sometimes be more difficult when I'm sick, it doesn't magically disappear.

So if anyone wants to contact me to roleplay ZoLaw or MiZo aka Mihawk x Zoro or Law/Zoro or ZoLu/Luffy x Zoro or whatever they call Zoro/Ace or even something as wacky and off track as Zoro x Law just privately (or if, god love you, you want to drag me into tumblr RPing and have the patient of a Luff- of a God) please feel free to reach out. While I might not post as much fanfic properly here anymore, I happily go off the rails on long tangents with friends online because I adore rping. It brings me the same joy as writing but without necessarily including the stress of having to complete my own fully formed narrative, which can occasionally be truly difficult when I am hospitalized or just don't feel my best.

So, yeah, I thought I would just put this out there for anyone interested. I love RPing and regardless of how out there your idea is, I'm sure I'd love engaging in this crazy thought experiment with you (unless your idea is Zoro as a Heart Pirate, in which case I am no longer requesting, I am DEMANDING you contact to rp that shit RIGHT THE FUCK NOW.)

Shipping interview!

⇾  Multi, single, or fewship? Multiship

⇾  What are you willing to RP when it comes to shipping?: Everything? Multiship for me doesn’t only imply romantic interactions (I’m not looking for romantic ship in the first place anyway), it also means : enemies, bestfriends, friends, frenemies, family bond, soulmates, etc... so there’s basically no limit

⇾  How large does the age gap have to be to make it uncomfortable?: For a romantic ship, I need both the muse AND the mun to be legal. Enel is 37 years old, I guess it’s okay for him to have someone around 23 minimum. I don’t have limits if the other character is older.

⇾  Are you selective when shipping?: Highly when it comes to romance. Again, I’m not looking for it, so if it happens, it must be something we both want, with a LOT of chemistry not only with the muses, but with the mun as well, and, honestly, compatible characters in the first place. Enel is complicated, I guess not everyone can handle his general attitude as a lover, he can get easily bored and mean, there’s no point for me to dig in such kind of behavior since I want to chill on the RP. Though, I’m less regarding when it comes to other ship. I’m always super open for him to collect friends, relatives or enemies!

⇾  How far do steamy moments have to go before they’re considered NSFW?: I never write smut on tumblr, and will never write smut on tumblr, I stated it in my rules. The “steamiest” stuff you might see are two characters kissing (and I’ll put my NSFW tag), but nothing else would happen. I’m a walking paradoxe, I’m utterly open-minded when it comes to sexual conversation (you can ask my discord contacts, THEY KNOW ME WELL), but I’m super shy when it comes to expose my muse most intimate moments. I don’t like the idea that some people are reading it, that’s all, it doesn’t concern the world, but two muses having a good time (and I don’t trust the read after line buttons anymore). Smut happens on discord, so no, you won’t see Enel’s peepee in action here.

⇾  Does one have to ask to ship with you?: Always! But with my general experiences, it’s a natural conversation between two muns. I’m open-minded to any sort of ship in the first place, but I prefer to settle it with another player, especially if it’s something romantic. It’s a topic I prefer to discuss beforehand.

⇾  How often do you like to ship?: I love to ship! So I ship a lot of various relationships with my muse! There are so many possibilities to explore, so many verses, so many adventures and funny bonds we can think about! I guess that’s also why people are RPing in the first place, we want our muse to connect with others!

⇾  What is your favorite ship in your current fandom?: Ugh that’s a tough one! Mmmh... For romantic ship, I’ve always had a preference for gay ships I won’t lie, I guess this the bisexual me talking, and I’m like this with all the anime I’m watching RIP... I love ZoSan (a lot lot lot), but also ZoLaw, DoflaDile, VerDof, Mihawk x Shanks, NaVi, and for the heterosexual stuff I appreciate Zoro x Hyori (you CAN’T FIGHT ME ON THIS)

Though... don’t ask me for all the other nice non-romantic ships I have, there are dozens and dozens because not everything is about romance and that’s cool :)

If anyone, for any reason ever suddenly finds they want to roleplay some random ZoLaw AU* I just want to introduce you to someone:

[It's me. The person I wanted to introduce you to is me.]

I just realized how many fucking ZoLaw stories live in my head and how I will never, ever be able to write them all.

Then I remembered that I am a huge geek and that there is an easier way!

So, you know, hit me up about that if you're ever just like, "But what if Law was a sports photographer and this certain kendo competitor was his favorite subject, but he refused to admit it, until the day the media company he works for throws this event and of course his boss would have to invite Roronoa. No, thanks, Corazon, it probably totally won't creep him out how many photos I have of him."

Or, "But what if the only way to stay on the university kendo team is if he can pull up his gpa and while he finds the (admittedly attractive) TA for his biology class to be haughty and cold Zoro needs to be able to compete and he figures the guy will at least have some one he can recommend. And Law, in a hurry and not properly listening, somehow agrees to tutor this kid himself and fuck how does this happen to him?"

Or, "What if the Strawhats are a band. They mainly play at Shakky's rip off bar, which just so happens to be one of medical student Trafalgar Law's favorite places to go after a long day. He'd like it more if not for that annoying Strawhat band that they keep booking even though Law doesn't find them at all that impressive. Then one night after the show the drummer - cute, but the green punk hair is a little desperate - comes and takes the seat next to him at the bar. It isn't that Law is staring but at some point, the boy turns and just asks, "what's your problem? You keep glaring at me but as far as I can tell all I've done so far is sit here and try and order a drink." And that's when they start to talk."

Or, "Law works for Doflamigo and when the Straw hats arrive in Dressrosa, they end up quickly having to run, trying to escape from Big Mom's ship. Only one crew member stays behind to distract the powerful devil's fruit user that had been following them.*

Or, "Law follows in Corazon's footsteps and becomes a marine. Years later this fresh faces, green haired swordsman straight from the academy is assigned to his crew."

Or, "Alternative Universe where both Law and Zoro are Shichibukai."

And of course, "But what if Zoro was a Heart Pirate."

Or you know, really anything. Doesn't even technically have to be an AU.

So long as I get some ZoLaw content, you'd be surprised how unpicky I am.

Ich weiß, es ist erst irgendwann heut Abend gegen zehn der Fall, aber...

Unsere Geschichte wird heute ein Jahr! Kannst du dir das vorstellen? Was wir schon alles erlebt haben und was da alleine jetzt schon noch kommen wird... Wahnsinn.

Ich für meinen Teil kann nur sagen, Wahnsinn... Es wird nicht langweilig, es gibt immer wieder so einen 'Ne, oder?'-Moment, mit dem kann ich einfach nicht rechnen (von den ganzen Off-Play-Unterhaltungen und Ideensammlungen fange ich erst gar nicht an), und es ist alles, wirklich alles vorhanden, was man haben muss.

I know no one cares THAT deeply, but this happened time today:

Boss: So the weekend crew is, Saturday, just Mina, seven to noon, then Sunday [...] *Goes on to list the others*

Me: Okay, so I have no problem with this. I do want to say that, you know, I did not know about this until just now.

Boss: I posted it in the group chat on Monday.

Me: The day I was sedated? In surgery?

Boss: *Light laugh* Yeah, okay, that's true.

But I'm still stuck working a solo Saturday.

So, for obvious reasons, there was no One Piece watching tonight. However, by the time I got home my brother had changed his mind to the movie most likely being Stampede, but then I pointed out that we watched Stampede about three times together (@jhaernyl kept falling asleep - note we're like seven times zones apart from one another so this is entirely fair) and that it seems weird I don't remember @jhaernyl commenting on this.... I mean, I don't think she would mind me telling people she is ALSO a fan of vice captains (she might not want me to say that this goes as far as when we rp various ZoLaw scenarios and drag Shanks in, we always, always have he married/partnered/dating Benn - maybe/usually Buggy, typically also Makino, a lot of times we throw Mihawk in there as a sort of Friends with Benefits thing, we're pretty shameless about adding Ace, Law, and/or Zoro to all of this whenever we feel like it - but ALWAYS Benn... So I do feel we're on the same level of, "No, Benn is necessary for Shanks to be alive, we should give special attention to every single second he's on screen.")

My brother basically came up blank after this. We have a long ass text conversation that went over an hour with both of us trying to guess where we both managed to create this in our mind.

Bro: Maybe.... Did we see it on the wiki?

Me: Why would we have pulled the wiki page up on the TV? Also, it's not on the wiki, I checked.

Bro: Ummm... Maybe did it show Shanks's poster and we joked about Benn's?

Me: And then I posted it like it was just a fact? And we both manufactured memories of it?

Bro: I don't know.

Bro: The only thing I see online is YouTube videos using it as a thumbnail, and they don't even use the photo in the video, so I don't know where we would have gotten it.

Me: Did we hallucinate this?

Bro: At this point I'd say we may have.

I just.... We are at a loss. Collectively we have three degrees and 15 years of One Piece read/watching (and yes most of that is him) and yet when faced with a very simple question - "Where The fuck did you see this thing?" - we both eventually just ended up shrugging and giving up entirely.

can you tell me if "Dead only" Benn is canon or fanon? I love the thought of it, but not knowing is driving me crazy. It definitely wasn't stated in the manga so something else? I couldn't find anything on it.

So, here is the thing....

I have like, a strong memory, of watching One Piece with my brother when I first saw this. And my siblings, as amazing as they are, have banded together to ask me NOT to do the thing where I get them to watch One Piece then pause every five seconds to take screenshots. Like it, "ruins their viewing experience". I'm sorry, how is viewing a stop frame of Zoro's face in anyway "ruining" the show for you? If anything, I've enhanced it, you're welcome.

... okay, yeah, I know. That is neither here nor there.

I have to say, though, I am so very, very sure of it. My brother had the memory as well, and I know we joked about it, and it's not like we watch a bunch of One Piece theory videos (neither of us ever have so it's not something we picked up there). But it was definitely on the TV screen at some point.

However....

I have seen like five of the movies with my brother. And because I could only think of one episode during the Wano Arc that we would have been watching together where Benn Beckman's poster would appear, and I had it on during work, glancing down at it every few minutes to check for Benn, and never saw him (okay I saw him once but not his poster), I'm assuming it MUST have been from a movie. Likely Stampede because that's the only movie I can think of that had shots of Wanted Posters.

However, I am not prepared to pull up and try watching Stampede during work, no matter my dedication to dedicated first mates. So verification on that will have to wait. And I know that TECHNICALLY the movies don't count as anime canon, so either way, I guess I may have lied to people.

Which I'm not actually THAT sorry about because, let's face it, if someone should have DEAD ONLY in their poster it's Benn.

(Another reason I'm SURE this is from some movie/episode is because I keep saying "Dead only", but I think when I first went back to look it ACTUALLY says, "Only Dead". But my wording is better and I've just decided to keep it.)

So, yeah, it looks as if this MAY have been a blink and you miss it moment from a movie, and not, as my memory misconstrued, from the actual anime. That is on me.

(We've also played a BUNCH of One Piece video games, but I feel my brain would have noted if it was from a game.... I hope my brain would have noted that, since that's a pretty big difference, where as in my own head I smash the movies right in there with the anime canon, no problem. Brain, I need you to make a note to note that shit in the future.)

Edit: My brother now seems to believe it was Movie Z. I don't know how he got to that, but I'll check it out this weekend along with Stampede.
