Luke Skywalker is a farm boy rant, NSFW part 2

Do you, dear fanfic writers, expect me to believe that farm boys are the most innocent bunch of all? That Luke has never seen a woman's ankle before? Hell no. And let me tell you why :

- Tatooine is full of slaves as much as it is likely full of brothels, Luke being a native would be aware of both facts, furthermore he would have already gotten The Talk. I would, unfortunately, suspect that sexual abuse and assaults are an everyday risk, which in consequence causes children to learn about everything much earlier and with much more detail (so they know who to avoid/what behaviour means what etc.)

- my assumption is that Tatooinians would be very open about sexual activities. Yes, maybe not everybody but I can't imagine that anybody there would try to euphemize and be subtle. Huttese is a straightforward language and the majority of Tatooine's population is, was or at some point will be engaging in criminal activity/slavery. I struggle to see how modesty of language and behaviour would be kept in such a society.

- farm boys, just like most teenagers are horny, even more so. When you mix that with an early and extensive knowledge about how it's all supposed to go (be it from watching banthas during mating season or off-world bounty hunters entering brothels), a very limited amount of peers and a culture that is probably very accepting of a plethora of strange habits you get kinky sex

- with all of those factors and looking at statistics of Iceland (ifykyk) I would estimate the average age you start doing stuff on Tatooine to be around 14-15 years old (and, funfact, since we assume sex to be largely destigmatized I would even go as far as saying that teen pregnancies are not even that common)

Summing up - 19 years old Luke would not only be much more mature than we realize but also much more experienced, having lived through around 4-5 years in which he qualified for our wonderful statistic. He would probably be kinky (I couldn't not mention the possibility of teenagers on Tatooine being into bounty hunters roleplay etc.) and simply very open about anything concerning sex and proposing it to people.

Well y'all it's been fun but I'm going to take a break now. I won't be gone long, maybe a few days or a week, but I just need time away from here.

Not to sound like a pompous asshole, but since S4 I've been flooded with notifications and it's starting to bug me (as a person in general I don't like notifications and I'm not too sure why!) so I just need an escape from it for a little bit. At the same time I want to apologize to all the people who have reblogged or left replies on my posts with questions about S4 or wanting to start a discussion. I just don't have the mental capacity to try and talk to you all, and it's nothing against any of you!

My mental state has slowly deteriorated over the past month, especially with being so incredibly busy at school and then my last day before break was super shitty. This is my last week of break before I go back and I am so incredibly anxious about it and everything else I have to face in my life right now.

2024 was one heck of a year, but hey, at least I started 2025 right by finally watching Masters of the Air! Literally can't believe it finally happened, I remember when it was just a whisper on the horizon. I watched Band of Brothers and The Pacific for the first time in like... 2013, and even at that point they were talking about it, but it just never happened.

If you’re an employee for a staffing agency and a coworker is being discriminatory/threatening/harassung you, the best thing to do is to NOT ONLY go through HR of your agency, but to go to the security or management of your client and tell them as well. 9 times out of 10 they’ll come to a conclusion much faster than your agency, even within 24 hours, and they’ll most likely ban them from the premises and you’ll hopefully never have to deal with them again.

Btw sorry for being largely absent, here's some current events:

My partner and I moved the entire contents of our apartment by ourselves while still going to work

My dog died

I'm facing workplace discrimination from the woman who basically controls whether I live or die

So like! Bear with me, I'm probably the most depressed I've been in a long time while trying to make the new apartment feel like home.

I might start working on another story, just to take my mind off things, because The Blood Of Saints is just not something I think I have the mental fortitude to continue right now.
