Inktober 04/2024 “Tragedy”

Waking up alone

This is a sequel to last years inktober drawing where AFO successfully steals dark shadow. This is the aftermath of him in the hospital. He’s completely catatonic and unresponsive to all stimuli. When a part of you is ripped away there is no replacing what is lost.

Ayreontasiatober days 1-2: Favorite Avantasia Album

Happy Inktober to all who celebrate (me) aka the only time of the year I consistently post art. My fandom friends and I have been COOKING so be prepared :))

I’m working off two prompt lists this year - one put together by @starsirrah a few years back (that I’m doing in full) and one that several of us put together! 

Today’s prompt is favorite Avantasia album which would have to be Ghostlights my beloved. For a story album it’s pretty vague, though I find it pretty amazing how the lyrics can not only follow the story of a distressed Victorian man and a mind control cult but ALSO hit really close to home about what’s real and not and about rationality vs. spirituality. Plus it’s banger after banger. Anyway this was a lot of fun so enjoy ^^

(My dad, knowing nothing about TMOT/Ghostlights, saw this one and said it looked Victorian so mission accomplished I guess?!)

LUtober Day 17 : Blind

Ok, so, this one is particular because it's actually a fanart from the fanfiction "What Hyrule Hadn't Seen", written by @sky-squido. I read it like a week before starting this inktober, so it felt fitting !

It's from a fighting scene towards the end of the fic, where Legend has to face an old friend... I went in reading this completely blind (haha, pun) and I really enjoyed it, so I'm not going to say much other than : read it ! Legend is so cool, Hyrule made me cry, and it's overall very well written. Here's a link :

It's not the only LU fic I've read from the same author, and their writing style is incredible ! I really recommend giving it a read if you're into Linked Universe and like good characterization !
