Okay, here's a list of things I noticed in the opening sequence

1.

Crowley climbs the cliff while Aziraphale lands from the skies. So this is relating to their origins? A demon crawling up from hell and an angel descending from heaven.

There's a tombstone with 'Everyday'.

There's a tombstone with Jane Austen on it. This is probably related to the 1827 minisode.

4.

Pickled herring!! Also there's a statue behind, I'm not sure of its importance.

There's also a tombstone with 'HERE LIES THE FORMER SHELL OF BEELZEBUB'. Ohhh does it mean that they've got discorporated multiple times???

There's also something written on the stone below that I can't quite read.

There's a bomb dropping, perhaps it's related to the 1940's minisode?

Ladies of Camelot??? Very intriguing.

There's 'The Arrival' on the left side. However I can't quite see what's to the right.

People talk about how “overpowered” and freaky some of the physical feats in PJO and HOO are but I think people forget that all demigods inherently have enhanced, speed, agility, and strength. So at lot of these physical feats actually make a lot of sense in their “power scaling.”

And I know a lot of people like talk about the Lois Arc jump because that is insane but there are a lot of other feats that show off the enhanced attributes some of the other demigods have.

Like, Hazel ran after a Arion, the fastest horse alive for a WHOLE day. Hours upon hours on end. And even if Arion WASN’T the fastest horse he’s still. A horse. That Hazel was able to keep up with. And then run all the way home.

Reyna EASILY knocks away giant werewolves with a knife and used her javelin like a pole vault. Annabeth managed to fight Kronos, a whole ass Titan, to a standstill. And she’s been shown to perform moves only professional acrobatic and gymnast can do. Piper threw a fifty pound shield at Medea and was described to move fast as a viper.

Jason had dodged arrows that have appeared out of no where, no warning, and Percy has side stepped bullets. BULLETS.

Not to mention that with the Lycaon and werewolves they were all out running and keeping up with WOLVES.

So, yeah, demigods have freaky physical feats.

homestuck was so perfect for autistic teenagers bc it took characters being sorted into categories and having Attributes to its absolute extreme. forget four hogwarts houses, every character has their associated colour their zodiac sign their associated animal their dream planet their god tier class and aspect their typing quirk their pesterchum handle their weapon their planet of x and y, as well as each of them having a handful of other very quantifiable Personality Traits and Interests (e.g. this one is a clown this one is angry this one likes fashion this one is just rufio from hook for some reason) and THEN they all also have their respective ancestors and dancestors(?)(plucked that word from my memory) who have all of those things as WELL

and god not to mention the fucking quadrant system

as a 13-15 year old autistic kid i didnt even need homestuck to have a plot i just happily made a big big spreadsheet of character attributes in my brain

so demise and the life series are two different things, obviously, and to a large extent the rules of demise are a lot more incidental to everyone's episodes and plotlines than the rules of the life series is to that, and also, you know, demise started in hermitcraft as its own thing and is now once more in hermitcraft as its own thing, and also the no direct pvp rules.
