All the talk about Vicious, Merry, Bold and Cheerful left me sweating something else.

I imagine Watchful and Wild together with their daughters lol

Clever would have been the daughter trusted by her parents, and the heir to the throne.

Careful would have had middle sister syndrome and would have been equally loved for her shy personality.

And baby Vicious being her parents' little imp and causing a scandal, like when she confronted a cackler on her own I think. She was named Vicious when she was a cub? Or was shd renamed after that event???

You've nailed it, pretty much. c: And Vicious was always named Vicious, they just waited until their kids were a bit older before naming them (so Vicious was half-right about how Careful was named lol). And yeah, we tried to imply via Clever that she wasn't so different from Hopeful in her youth. She was always eager to prove herself and not let her older and therefore stronger sisters overshadow her.

Perhaps you could say it's part of why Clever got along so well with Hope: she reminds her of Vicious before Jasper entered their lives and the bond they once had. - RJ
