First time I've ever gotten the master sword in a Zelda game.
#twilight princess#im honestly amazed how good it looks on a (10 year old) flatscreen tv#the legend of zelda#zelda#loz twilight princess#the legend of zelda twilight princess#loz#the little red wii in the bottom right corner for scale. to emphasize how big of a screen I'm playing on.#only problem is sometimes a little warping only during side to side motion and nothing else. which i WOULD like to know how to fix.#but really very very good. I'm just using the regular cables and everything.#for reference. i also own botw. phantom hourglass. spirit tracks. majora's mask and ocarina of time...and the age of calamity game.

I bought the crash original trilogy remakes on steam a while back specifically bc of Anton. I should play at least one of the wario lands at some point too. Learning my roots...
#I don't have a switch so I can't play the port. nor do I have the original consoles for the older ones#obviously I could find other ways of going about it but idk how those methods are holding up these days lol#I have my 3ds and wii u too. shake it was wii u compatible yeah? it's not a traditional wario land though#motion controls we aren't friends sorry 💔#I think the cutscene animation style for that game is very nice to look at but idk if it's worth motion controls#OR having to actually find space to set up my wii u (I have a little tv monitor that should work but no room for it lol)#I GOTTA figure out wl4..... i wanted to say since theyre putting slightly more focus on donkey kong i hope they port donkey kong jungle beat to the switch but i realized if they do, it will just be the wii remake and not the bongos
#what i want is the bongos. i need to slap the drums so hard i bburst a blood vessel in my hand. again#i dunno. i know a lot people dont like gimmicks and they dont really sell#but the sell point of the wii was the motion controls and for better or worse you couldnt do anything without wonky motion controls#then again the switch main sellpoint is the portability. but the joycons themselves have so many functions not used#that i see outside of 12 switch or nintendo labo found dead in miami#its the last three consoles wii wiiu and 3ds in one and half the time i forget there is a touch screen#i dunno what im trying to say#it was nice that for skyward sword hd they give you the option to use motion controls or button controls even though i didnt like the butto#s but now we don't get anything but buttons at all anymore i miss the weird untrusty variety#anyway i didnt know people didn't like playing with the bongos but if the speaker breaks or becomes too sensitive you are pretty much fucke#cause you cant clap anymore but it does take away the experience a bit without them. they were made with them in mind afterall#without them its just donkey kong country but not very good#its good as the game it is. its bad if it were donkey kong country#you know what it really is though? its mario galaxy 0

i am not good at video games but yet i persevere
#failed the goron race in majoras mask like 15 times in a row but i am determined to get that sword upgrade#anyways. you shouldve seen me playing alttp it was a struggle some of those bosses. i was only able to beat them through#sheer stubbornness. thank you save states.#anyways what i have learned from rapidly playing every zelda game i can get my hand on is that twilight princess bosses are easy lol#fun but. easy. except for argorok all my homies hate argorok#well its not really argoroks fault. he isnt hard in theory its just that in reality the fight is less link vs argorok and more#me vs the wii motion controls.#all other games im like mashing attack button and then twilight princess i was wildly swinging around my wii remote#and shaking the nunchuck like do a spin attack link i know you know how to do it#anyways. ikana village is terrifying. i am afraid. i hate you gibdos i hate you redeads#gibdos in twilight princess were easy...they dont wrap your arms around them id just see them and frantically swing my sword and then#theyd just die.#anyways its impressive how many zelda games ive played without getting any better at them.#my skills at getting lost in dungeons remain unmatched. i even managed to do it in totk. somehow.
