My (now outdated) inventory after getting rid of my second rocket launcher. Just reached the island last time I played with...way less ammo then I have here.

my copy of GC twilight princess from my childhood keeps erroring out… I wanted a replacement disc, but unfortunately they are all stupid overpriced :(

i am not good at video games but yet i persevere
#failed the goron race in majoras mask like 15 times in a row but i am determined to get that sword upgrade#anyways. you shouldve seen me playing alttp it was a struggle some of those bosses. i was only able to beat them through#sheer stubbornness. thank you save states.#anyways what i have learned from rapidly playing every zelda game i can get my hand on is that twilight princess bosses are easy lol#fun but. easy. except for argorok all my homies hate argorok#well its not really argoroks fault. he isnt hard in theory its just that in reality the fight is less link vs argorok and more#me vs the wii motion controls.#all other games im like mashing attack button and then twilight princess i was wildly swinging around my wii remote#and shaking the nunchuck like do a spin attack link i know you know how to do it#anyways. ikana village is terrifying. i am afraid. i hate you gibdos i hate you redeads#gibdos in twilight princess were easy...they dont wrap your arms around them id just see them and frantically swing my sword and then#theyd just die.#anyways its impressive how many zelda games ive played without getting any better at them.#my skills at getting lost in dungeons remain unmatched. i even managed to do it in totk. somehow.

i've played Okami so many times i'm way too good at finishing it now. i used to average around 27-30 hours and at this point i can completely 100% it in around 18 hours now. that's just not enough time spent with this game and it kills me every time i finish it that i can't experience it forever!!!!!
#psy's no punctuation posts#i just beat it again so i'm thinking about it lol#it's honestly one of my favorite games of all time. it is by the far the game i have played the most in my ENTIRE LIFE#like in terms of replaying it fully. i'm sure i've restarted certain faves more as a kid but Okami i've probably finished#at least 20 times by now. i have at least 12 finished save files on my Switch version and idr how many on my original Wii copy#i got that game in 2011 so i've replayed it many times#not near as much before i got the Switch port (which is SO superior. the motion controls are fine but the stick controls are nicer)#but still a lot. i replayed it every year for many years and now i replay it like 3 times a year LOL

i started playing spider-man ps4 in like. 2018. and i didn’t get super far into it but then i just kinda didn’t really use the ps4 until this week, and i’ve gone back to play (and hopefully finish) it, and either i don’t remember 80% of it or i just missed SO much last time lmao
#like i remember one of the last things i did before i didn’t touch it again was the fisk tower and like i was swinging around the outside of#and i haven’t even reached that yet but i have found SO much more#like i think i’m further in percent than i was last time despite being further back in the main story#i don’t think my brain was used to games back then#we had a wii and i had a ds but the games i played were categorically easy kids games because i was definitely not Good#and before i got spider-man the ps4 was mainly used for the lego games#but i’ve got four whole months to finish spiderman :)#then i’ve gotta go back and restart detroit become human#that’s another one that i left behind#i’ve managed to avoid spoilers all these years somehow#also star wars battlefront is the other one i want to finally play#the second one with the solo mission#i used to play it with my dad all the time and we’d play against each other until one of us got motion sick lmao#anyway#i’m excited to have gotten back into the ps4#mads makes a post

just beat skyward sword for the first time :)
#beautiful game#easily one of my fav zeldas#i loooove the linearity and the characters and the story and#also the gameplay is super good. i played button controls bc i can't play motion w/ how my switch is set up#but the concept of motion is awesome#and makes sense for who the game was released for (casuals on the wii)#the final boss was super climatic and ending was awesome#i do have to say he got a bit tedious while i was trying to time shit right#o well#overall it really stands the test of time#and i hold it dear in my heart#also i accidentally have nearly 100%ed it? LOL#i have everything but 2 heart pieces and 1 full run of boss rush (i stopped at 4 and 8 for heart piece and hylian shield respectively)#i think tp is up next! that and/or finishing alttp#i'm gonna finish 100%ing sksw first though :)
