A huge victory for my shading skills. The shadows on the floor don't really make any sense, but I don't care. The next task is to put this together with coloring, and then I'll be a real artist!
The narrative behind this piece is a few lycanthropes witnessing someone experience it for the first time, most likely a recently-bitten friend. I have little story beyond that, but perhaps it'll be expanded someday.
I'm slowly becoming a furry artist because all the other things I'm into are dying or dead, and this is the only community that still has lots of stuff going on. Though, I suppose Transformers still has pretty good momentum...

Story 7 by clppng
Lyrics:
[Verse 1: Daveed Diggs]
Kimberly couldn't believe what she was seeing
Video was grainy but she could make out his face
It clearly had to be Steve
Hadn't seen him in maybe, what?
It couldn't be more than a couple days
Who was this bitch on her knees?
She was not even pretty, fuck
He better not still be up in her place
She fishing 'round for her keys
Check the lock, it is broken in
Impatiently, a scowl on her face
Kimberly opens the door
She wasn't ready, drops the keys
Drops to the ground and tries to catch her breath
Steve was still there on the floor
What was left of him, gnarled bone
The body parts are piled in a mess
How easily she ignored
All of the scratches, could be nails or could be teeth
Certainly not a knife
She should have looked at the floor
Follow blood to the window sill
Where it went up and out into the night
[Chorus 1: Daveed Diggs]
Cynthia strolling through the moonlight
Casually wiping the blood from the corner of her mouth
Cynthia knew Steve wouldn't do right
From the moment when he had said that he wouldn't eat her out
Cynthia singing on a blue night
Temporarily satisfied but she knew that wouldn't last
Cynthia steps into the Brew Right
Thirsty for a drink and to find someone to help hours pass
[Verse 2: Daveed Diggs]
After Randy had sent the photos
He decided that he had just earned a drink
Shit, he's celebrating the end of a horrible case
He never had to see that woman Kimberly ever again
He thinks, shit, he had completed the task that was simple enough
She knew her man was cheating like they always do
She only needed proof
So he got to tailing the brown Chevrolet
And he'll say this for Steve, he knew what he was doing
So good that he almost got away with all of his bullshit
But Randy wouldn't get paid, and let's face it
He needed every dollar that this little job could make
The bookies were calling with more regularity
He would rather keep his kneecaps still unbroken
Thank you, if it's all the same, shit
Nothing had changed, he was the definition of in a rut
Anyway, job well done, he saunters on into the Brew Right pub
The spot pretty jumpin', he spies a seat at the bar
Orders the scotch and then feels a gentle hand on his back
And he turns to meet the eyes of a woman
Who tells him her name is
[Chorus 2: Daveed Diggs]
Cynthia, cross-legged at the bar now holding up a drink
Wink, lips
Cynthia whispers and his heart now takes another beat
Think, skips
Cynthia, tongue along his ear now, maybe he should pay
The tab
Cynthia knows just where to go now, and they leave and hail
A cab
[Verse 3: Daveed Diggs]
He say, is this the type of thing where he pay?
And if so, he gon' need a rain check (check, check)
She say, "You can have this one for free, bae"
As she licked the lips and started bitin' on his neck
He say what's crazy 'bout this, between the bites and the kisses
Is he ain't been in a taxi since back when he lost his sister
But Cynthia isn't listenin' to him, she on a mission
The moon is full and she hurtin', and he might be the prescription
And now she pullin' up her dress, and he grabbin' on her breasts
And she start to see the throbbin' in his veins
And she get ready for the s—
But just then the cabbie pulled the taxi over quick
Click, pop-pop, silver flashes mixed with red and that was it
[Chorus 3: Daveed Diggs]
Cynthia is choking on her blood now
The cabbie walks off into the night unseen while
Cynthia, still locked in Randy's hug now
'Cept for the oaken window high above the scene and
Cynthia looks straight into her doom now
Little 'Trina watches everything that happens down below
But doesn't scream and
Cynthia is howling at the moon now
Tomorrow, 'Trina's gonna wake up
Wondering if it was really all a dream
[Outro: Daveed Diggs]

cw : justified murder , but also unjustified abuse
the song mama werewolf scratches that gay itch of : if i ever become abusive to my potential future child or children : shoot me with a fucking gun
the song mama werewolf is also infuriating because its someone saying theyre losing control , which is not how abuse works - that they " know it will never change " and tasking their child with fixing the siuation .
REAL werewolves pick up a fucking book and acknowledge their part in destroying the countryside and KNOW YOU CAN STOP - AND THEN STOP
i swear to god these betas /j
brandi carlile is cool and probably just expressing her emotions but not everyone is cool - additionally if u r abusive for the love of god dont harm urself and go to therapy

[ID: A drawing of a vaguely lupine and humanoid creature partially made of plants.
The creature is drawn standing on all fours facing left in 3/4ths view with it’s eyes facing the viewer. The creature has a long neck and head with a sharp bend in the neck. Its long face is pointed downwards and smiling, with large ribbed lips pulled back to reveal sharp teeth. It has small pointed ears at the top of its head and three visible eyes. Its front limbs end in a mass of roots and spines erupting out of smooth skin. Its hind legs end in human feet that have been altered to be digitigrade. It has pendulous human breasts, a hanging belly with rolls of fat on its back. A mass of bell shaped flowers erupt from its crotch and continue out to line the underside of a thorny plant-like tail that is pointed upwards.
The drawing is black line art with a red sketch faintly visible underneath./End ID]
Florawolf
So like Audrey 2 but a werewolf.

I was looking at wererats (I was reading about old English terms for people and ended up doing the why aren’t there wifwolves thing) and I have to say that I believe a rat contributed to writing this page
Anyway: it is weird about the lack of wifwolves
And yes, I like rats

also. learned that "were" (of "werewolf") meant man/male, and thus there's another word for woman/female, "wif", whick is the origin of the "wo-" in woman (wif man), and "man" was just. person. this has been my ted talk, thank you wifs, weres, and men. (also wifwolves and manwolves are things. i declare it to be so. because why not)

hi tumblr! i was just released from my job and would like to be able to make some money, so i have stickers for you!
they say “i support queer wifwolves” with the sapphic flag, but are also kinda stealth and look like an etruscan vase painting of lycaon! so if you like greek mythology, werewolves, monsters, or femme queer art, id really appreciate if you checked them out or shared them! or not! whatever works!

The O’Fáelad, the werewolves of ossory.
The O’Fáelad are the werewolves of Ireland and most of Europe. They are heavily associated with the sun, the moon and the stars.
The male werewolves are connected to the masculine sun, a deep connection with gold and the radient light, they use this connection to reveal paths and track their prey for the pack. Often their eyes have a faint glow in them often glowing depending on the time of day they were born in. and at night giving a slight glow like moonlight. Although not connected through their relation to the sun werewolves also tend to want to go into medicine.
They also have an immunity to fire and their weakness to silver
They like to decorate themselves with gold in both jewellery and in tattoos
The female werewolves or wifwolves are connected to the feminine moon, this deep connection with silver and the phases of the moon allows them to produce illusions and be aware of them. Their eyes reflect the phase of the moon they were born in and they pull strength at this time of the phases. They tend to protect the pack using their illusions werewolves cannot see through wifwolves illusions
Wifwolves are immune to the cold and unlike werewolves they are immune to silver bullets but instead are weak to gold they tend to wear silver jewellery and decorations
Zewolves are non binary O'faelad they are connected to the stars. With their connection with the stars connects them to navigation magic and prophecy telling through the stars they are often the guiders of the packs helping them navigate around
They tend to wear gems but opalite stones are a prefered
Though theses connections may make you believe they have harsh gender norms most wolf packs are very open to both trans wolves and non binary wolves. Often having celebrations for their coming out and have a ceremony for them selecting their new names.
Wolves born under a total Eclipse can be born as Eclipse wolves, wolves with powers of both the sun and moon. Though they are both connected to the masculine sun and feminine moon Eclipse wolves gender expression are dependent on the individual
The blood moon may also affect wolves being born but theses are incredibly rare individuals even more than the Eclipse wolves
(I am open to criticism over repersentation of the aspects of them i may have mistaken from my cis perspective so please let me know)

Not to draw any comparisons to those Disney movies about a privileged girl trying to join a new POC group for personal validation over the course of each trilogy film’s plot, but can OM werewolves (or I guess wifwolves in this situation) get stronger from holding pieces of moon rock or moon crystals?
NO

The Werewolf of Hüsby
Karl Müllenhoff
https://sites.pitt.edu/~dash/werewolf.html
In Hüsby near Schleswig there lived an old, stingy woman. She offered her farm hands but little to eat, although there was fresh meat every Sunday. The household wondered about this, because the old woman never bought any meat.
A young farm hand wanted to discover the woman's trick, so one day he hid himself in the hayloft instead of going to church with the rest of the household. Suddenly he noticed how the woman pulled out a wolf strap and put it around herself. She immediately became a wolf, ran out into the field, and soon came back with a sheep.
"If she can get meat that easily," thought the boy, "then she can be more generous with us. As the woman put meat into the pot, she sighed and said, as was her custom, "Oh, dear God, if only I were with you!"
The boy, pretending to be God, answered, "You'll not come to me for all eternity."
"Why not, dear God?"
"Because you put too little into the pot for your people."
"Then I'll do better."
"Yes, that's my advice to you."
From now on she put a much larger piece of meat into the pot. But the boy could not remain silent, and in the village he talked about what had happened. When on a Sunday morning the woman again turned herself into a wolf, the people were on guard. However, no bullet could harm her until they finally loaded a flintlock with a silver bullet. From that time to the end of her life the woman had an open wound that no doctor could heal. She never again showed herself as a werewolf.

Someone accidentally said "Wermensch" and while most men are probably human, it is almost funny to just imagine that the standard for men is to be (part) wolves and that a human man is suddenly the outlier.
Also it kind of reminds me of people who occasionally used "werewoman" to mean the woman version of werewolves, but it just ended up being "man woman". Completely ignoring the poor wifwolves.

Friendly reminder that the gender neutral term for ‘werewolf’ is ‘man-wolf’, not the other way round. (And we sure need more wifwolves in fiction, regardless of how you call them.)

Saw your terminology tags about wifwolves, and you're quite right; the wooferspeak was me trying to make a funny. Not that I actually expect anything like this in-show, but now I'm pondering non-wolf therianthrope forms that might fit Dourest Addams (lynx? Stoat? Some kinda viper?).
I mean personally I'd say a panther (despite panthers not actually being a species) which would be a werecat which are called Ailuranthropes (terrible name really). The black cat comparison along with all it's superstitions really work well for Wednesday I think. Plus we love cats and dogs dynamic😂 though a viper is a really cool idea, weresnakes are something like ophidianthropes (my spelling might be wrong there) but also consider Wednesday making the character in her story a weresnake? I dunno it's late and I haven't slept😅
